Purple Mountain Plumbing Plumbing Service
Response to ownder's public comment to my review:
How many times did I ask you if I needed to pay you anything? How many times did you say you would invoice me? When you came on 4/26/22 to help I asked you how much for that day as it was not planned, (we waited your availability) and I paid you that day with a check prior to you even invoicing me. I also paid your requested deposit on 4/26/22. I thought you had purchased 2 toilets, and did I not reach out to you to ask you if I owed you for a 2nd toilet? (You told me it had not been ordered.) If you think I owe you more money, minus the cost for toilet installation which is paid and not done, then you need to bill me so the bill can be reviewed. When you had me on the phone yelling at me and I was in tears starting to cry I told you, I can't talk about this right now. I am hanging up now. Goodbye. Then you texted me trying to argue with me telling me, I don't appreciate you hanging up on me. I am the customer. You had me in tears because again you were telling me I had to back up deadlines because of you. This was the 2nd time you attemtped to fight with me via texting. Mature business owners do not make their customer cry. And if I was a man, you would not have done what you did do to me. Others I employ on this remodel have complained because you put them behind and they had to clean up your work mess. I myself hauled the crating wood, bands, etc from the bathtub (which you could not get into the house for 10 days) to the dumpster. You left that for me to clean up. I myself scooped and put dirt and concrete debris from the bathtub installation into a large orange builders' bucket. This filled the bucket and I hauled it to the dumpster as you just left the trash instead of taking it out yourself. I did this so the tile person could work without having to clean up after you again. You removed the toilet and then put it in a bedroom. I had to pay someone to take the toilet out to the dumpster. You and one other person are no longer working on my home as not reliable. Everyone else is happy. I pay right away. What a shame that when a customer asks you to keep your time commitments that you believe the customer is too demanding. Perhaps if you showed up when you commit to being at a job you would not think the customer is too demanding and rude. Do you really want me to type out every date you said you would be here, and you did not show up? I think you will be very embarrassed if I type all these dates as well as the dates you didn't even bother to let me know you were not coming and then did not respond to phone call and/or a test. It is not demanding trying to coordinate others work around someone who does not show up. Perhaps if you don't bully a female customer and the customer has to tell you goodbye and hangup the phone you wouldn't think the customer was rude. I am not demanding. I am kind and I do not yell or shout. And in fact, I had consideration for your personal situation, and tried to work with you. You arrived one day, when not expected, and while I was talking with another plumber. I was trying to decide if I was going to change so I could get the work done. You saved me the trouble as you came the next day, again unexpected, and told me that I was not a good fit for your company. Note, for weeks instead of getting a different plumber I tried to be loyal to you understanding your personal situation. And here I thought I was being flexible agreeing to allow you to work one night from 8:30pm to 12:30am and another night 9pm to 11:30pm. And here I thought I was helping you when you told me you were too busy to keep the deadlines but if I allowed you to work in the evenings, you'd get my job done by the deadlines. I stand behind my review.

Dig It Sewer Repair Plumbing Service
Talk about a perfect storm.......on Sunday, the day before Labor Day, I came home to find a wet family room, bedroom and bathroom- my sewer system backed up. I called Dig It. They were here on Monday to look and Tuesday to replace the sewer line.  They were even able to re-schedule some appointments so they could start sooner. Dig It couldn't have been more responsive or patient as I asked a lot of questions so I was sure I understood what was going on. They stayed and worked at night with lights on. Malcom and Douglas kept me informed through the whole process. The men on their crew were fantastic too. Their prices were more than reasonable. I can recommend Dig It 100%. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Call them- you won't be sorry.

Craig Plumbing Heating & Cooling Plumbing Service
Craig of Himself Plumbing Heating & Cooling came out and installed a water pressure regulator on our main water line. He also provided advice on a few other plumbing items. He was able to get out for a quote quickly and came back to do the work two days later. My brother and dad have both used him for work and have been very pleased. I'd highly recommend him.

To the T Plumbing & Heating Plumbing Service
My sump pump was steaming after the downpours and I was worried the pipe was blocked or the motor was breaking down, so I called this company. It is so nice to know a female owns it because when I'm doing house stuff it feels like I could get taken advantage of easily as a young lady corresponding with a mostly male industry... she scheduled me immediately and let me know it would be on the earlier side of the time frame based on what was scheduled before me - so communicative and transparent.
The techs, Max and Barret, were professional, friendly, and helped me plan for what to do if it does breakdown while I'm traveling. They gave me the pricing for a new one ~$750 and didn't pressure me into getting a replacement.
There was a $75 trip fee, which at first did feel like too much money to have someone tell me the pump is old and needs replacing soon, but now I have a great company I will work with again so it paid off.
Love the name and the T shirts. Plus the owner is a teacher like me!!

Save Home Heat Plumbing Service
This company is too expensive.  $225 to connect a new battery (I provided) for my back up sump pump and take away the old battery.   The job would take 5 or 10 minutes (I've had it done before).

Aspen Plumbing Services Plumbing Service
Ron to the rescue! Having to replace a water heater is a pain. Having to have it replaced over the weekend while the in-laws are in town is disastrous, but Ron not only came in on a Sunday to bring us a new water heater, he fixed a pipe problem that was out of code that could have posed problems down the line when we sell our home. He was a lifesaver and had a great attitude while doing it. All in all, his prices were hundreds of dollars cheaper than other plumbers I called. I am so grateful and relieved to have gone with Aspen Plumbing.

Boulder County Plumbing Plumbing Service
Over the years we've done several remodels in the Boulder and Fort Collins areas and used a number of different contractors. Paul of Boulder County Plumbing is the best I've come across in any of the disciplines. He knows his plumbing and does it well. He's a joy to work with compared to most others. He also treats his customers with respect. I would use him again without hesitation. Two thumbs up.

I do not recommend this company. Company had two appointments both were no call no shows. When I called them they gave me another window and didn't show up or didn't call. I sent them four texts all unanswered. I ended up hiring someone else

House Heroes Colorado Plumbing Service
About 3 months ago,  my back fence was destroyed by wind. I attempted to contact several contractors to do the repairs. No body responded.
I called House Heroes Colorado,  and I was contacted within a few hours..
I hired them to do the repairs.  They arrived on time and also completed the work timely.  The work was excellent and very fairly priced.  I highly recommend this company.  I will absolutely use them again.

A Perfect Plumber Plumbing Service
The actual plumber who came to my house was good. He was nice and explained things to me. But once that is over and you are dealing with the office people get ready for some serious passive aggressiveness and unprofessionalism.
I was told that I would be emailed my bill after service and so I waited. I received an email and it said past due on it. After two minutes of receiving email I wrote them back saying hey this is my first email and I don't want you to think I am dodging you and I would like to pay but there isnt a link for me to do that sow what can I do. The professional response by them should have been thanks for reaching out to us and here is the best way to pay...but no... expect a crappy passive aggressive email from Jyme saying you got one and opened it (which is funny cause that day I had serious stomach bug and didnt do anything except hug sleep by my toilet). That response was unnecessary and unprofessional, especially since within two minutes of the one email I was apologizing for not having seen one yet and asking how to pay ASAP,  and I will discourage people from using this company.

Dr. Drain Plumbing Service
We had an emergency water main repair completed by Dr. Drain. Duncan, Jordan, and the crew that made the repair were all great. I'd highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

They are efficient, honest, hard working, they show up when they said they will, all while being fairly priced.

Denver Sewer Scopes Plumbing Service
I will be recommending this business to all of my family and friends. We contacted him in the morning because our basement was filling with water and by 9am he and his crew were at my house to help install a sump pump which they finished by the end of the day. They kept my home very clean, were very quiet for the intense work they were doing, and after they left the site Daniel called us again to make sure everything was working properly.
Daniel is a stand up guy with very reasonable straightforward pricing and takes the time to explain everything going into the job. Definitely a plumber you can trust.

High 5 Plumbing Plumbing Service
Jon C, welcome to Colorado!

Not only was High-5 fast to respond to my Yelp request, they did everything they promised. We were able to schedule an appointment for the same day as my issue, they gave me a 2 hour window, called before showing up, and arrived when they said they would.

Jon was professional, cleaning up after himself and never losing faith we would figure out the issue! He tested several things and got to the bottom of my mystery leaking. The whole time, he sung the praises of his employer and made me feel comfortable and confident in my choice to take a chance on someone via Yelp.

Thank you, Jon C, and High-5 Plumbing!!

Centennial Plumbing Plumbing Service
We noticed water pooling in our basement last night after one of our toilets wouldn't flush and realized our main sewer line was clogged.  We called Centennial Plumbing and Khan was out 30 minutes later.  He assessed the situation and unclogged the main line in no time for a very fair price under the circumstances.  We would definitely call them again in the future.

Kennedy Plumbing and Heating Service Plumbing Service
I hope this review saves the next person that comes in contact or does biz with Greg Kennedy and Kennedy Plumbing from the same costly experience that I had.  I have already filed a BBB complaint and will most likely have to take them to small claims court next.

They recommended that work be done on my main sewer line (that I later found out was not needed at all) to the tune of $4200.  Greg insisted on half upfront (red flag) and I spent the next 60 days calling, texting, emailing, begging, pleading to please come do the work you have already been half for.  Watch what you wish for.  Kennedy did come do 'some work' on my property, only to incur damages, leave holes in the ground, and damages everywhere.  The 'repair' he recommended was on the property line so not only have I had damages but my neighbors have been inconvenienced and now are looking to me to pay the damages caused by Kennedy.

At this rate, I have had to pay another plumber to come fix what Kennedy butchered up, and have had estimates for all the damages he caused (damaged deck, fence, gates, big hole ripped in side of neighbor's garage, the yard will have to be entirely regraded, and he destroyed a 10X 10 flagstone patio that has to be entirely relaid.   All the repairs have been estimated out at over $3500.  So in addition to the initial $2100, my experience Kennedy Plumbing has been a very costly one.  I don't want to see him able to continue this practice of outright deception and basically, theft of funds.  He got a LOT more $$$ on this than he ever should have.

DON'T deal with this company! EVER!  If you want a fair, expert and professional to deal with, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup Plumbing Service
The worst scammer company I have ever encountered. We had a leak in one of our shower pipes and I called Roto-Rooter to get the issue resolved. I will admit the supervisor got to my house in a timely manner and was very professional about the work that needed to be done. He mentioned that there would need to be mitigation but couldn't give me an exact price (which I totally understood) His plumber was a wonderful guy who arrived shortly after and fixed the issue in no time. The supervisor informed me that the mitigation team would be there in an hour. I sat around the house for 3 hours before calling him to inform him that his team had no showed. He called me back promptly and told me they had gotten caught up in a project downtown and would reschedule for the next day at 9:30. I told him I had plans at 12:00 and would not wait around all day. He came by at 9:30 and told me they would be right there. They did not arrive until 11:45 and I was forced to cancel my plans because I was waiting for them again. They were in my house for 10 minutes to set up equipment and left shortly after. They told me they would be there at 10:30am the next day to check out the progress. At 10:25am the next day the team called me to tell me that they were not coming and had a bigger project to work on. I called the supervisor and informed him we would no longer sit around waiting for Roto-Rooter to come complete the mitigation. They sent a guy who spent 15 minutes wrapping up equipment and left the house. The men spent a total of 30 minutes in my house and left equipment for 2 days and charged $920...the supervisor told me they were giving me a discount for $750. I tried calling him back and he has not answered my calls. When I rented the same exact equipment from Home Depot the total for 2 days was $300. Long story short avoid this place at all costs and go rent any mitigation equipment you need from Home Depot tool rental. It will be less headache and you won't feel like you got scammed out of $1000 dollars.
