Best Drain Installation in Washington DC
David and Becca were nothing short of amazing! The team at Reddick and Sons is completely worth the 5 stars! They were attentive and very knowledgeable on our issues and went above and beyond to make sure we fully understood our HVac and how to handle issue in the future! David treated us as if we were family and even became best friends with our dog! I would highly recommend Reddick & Sons to everyone!

I connected with Mehran on Yelp and exchanged messages with him over a few days while I checked out all my options for a water heater repair project. I really appreciated his responsiveness and willingness to adjust pricing, accommodate arrive window times, and answer my technical questions. Mehran's workmanship guarantee was among the best I saw. Ultimately, I was constrained by which companies could complete the work and was not able to contract with Bob and Kur. Even when I informed him that I wasn't able to continue with the company, he professionally responded with good platitudes. The five stars reflect my experience with Mehran during the research phase as I reached out to several providers via Yelp, and the hassle-free, respectable conversations. I felt his best offer was very reasonable and reflects the budget-friendly description on the Bob and Kur Plumbing listing on Yelp.

After reviewing several options I decided to go with SILA to replace my HVAC system. Among other considerations were many of my neighbors who were replacing their HVAC systems around the same time who recommended SILA.
On Friday, July 24, a SILA team arrived at 8:30am to remove my old system and replace it with a new Carrier system. At around 3:30pm they were done and I asked for my work order. I was told there was no work order. I then asked if I needed to pay them, and the installer said no. I asked for manual and the installer dropped four 100 page engineering manuals on my table and said, 'You can have these'. I asked for the air conditioning to setup and he pressed some buttons. I tipped him and his team and they left.
The next morning I woke up and left the house to go for a bike ride and crashed my bike. After spending most of the day at Urgent Care for treatment of my broken wrist, I went home and that's when I could recognize that I had a gas leak. I called Washington Gas to report the gas leak. The DC Fire department came out and confirmed that the gas leak was from an unsealed gas pipe. One of the fire fighters said that it was irresponsible to have left my house with gas leaking from a pipe. I called SILA and told them I had a gas leak from the installation, and I could have died if I hadn't left my house for a bike ride in the morning, and, as it happens, I did break my arm. The SILA representative Kelly's response was the equivalent of, 'oh well, but you didn't die, and there was nothing she could do.' So I asked that a manager call me. No manager called me, so I eventually called SILA. It tooks two days of calling but I finally got in touch with a manager. He said he never heard of my story. He said he was sorry to hear that I had been sitting in my house, with my windows closed in the 100 degree Washington, D.C., heat, inhaling gas for 20 hours and that my arm was broken, but he couldn't do anything at all. I finally negotiated a warranty extension and he said he was give me a $250 refund. The $250 doesn't even come close to the amount of out-of-pocket medical expenses I accumulated because of my broken arm. The computer on my HVAC doesn't work properly - even after 3 techs from SILA came out to program the computer - each tech actually showing me how simple it was which simulataneously saying that the previous tech obviously didn't know what they were doing when they programmed the computer. Also, the $250 that Evan refunded, and sent me a picture of the receipt, it never was refunded into my account - which, I think, is, like, fraud, or, at least, a lie.
I'm writing this two months after the installation because my broken arm has finally healed. I still have problems with programming the HVAC system; the $250 refund was never processed despite being sent a receipt of the process; and SILA didn't care or take responsibility for the shoddy installation of my HVAC system that left gas leaking into my house for more than a day before it was recognized.
So, no, I do not recommend SILA. Considering the highly competitive HVAC market in the DC area I would recommend almost any other installer of HVAC systems other than SILA.

Thomas E Clark is exactly what you want but would never expect from a Plumbing & HVAC company. I used them for Plumbing in the winter. The plumber snaked my drain and gave me advice but did not up-sell me on anything. Last night my AC quit working. I called and they sent someone out within 2 hours (he arrived at 8 pm) and fixed the problem in 30 minutes. This morning, the AC quit working, they worked me into their very packed schedule and the tech came back. My circuit breaker flipped (duhh!), he flipped it back and didn't charge me another service call!!
Thomas E Clark's prices are very reasonable, the people that answer the phones are very polite and efficient, and the techs are great. It's nice to know there's a company you can call at any time and get great reliable service.

I called Snell Sunday night and they responded the next morning, five minutes early. Technician Boyd was professional and fixed the issue and explained preventive measures. He also accepted the $59.00 coupon and did not attempt to up-sell additional products. I'll call Snell next Fall

They came out today... and I cant say enough wonderful things. I'd give 10 stars if I could. I have a shower in a bathtub that had been REBATHED 10 years ago... and I was fearing the worst... that the tile would have had to be torn out. On Friday, I called and JT set up an 8AM appointment for today (Monday). Crew of two arrived on time, no BS.. said that a cartridge' was all that was needed. WHEW!!! The bottom line... its so hard to find a company that is honest and trustworthy... who shows up on time... and does the work at a very moderate price. W L Staton is that kind of company. They are now my plumbers for life. Only a fool would call a company with a name that rhymes with Ben The Plumber!!!

I had a problem with a leaky toilet. I found Plumb via yelp so I messaged them, this was around 11:30PM Saturday night.
Within about 15 minutes, I received a response. Wow, who responds that fast especially on a Saturday night. Anyway, they indicated that they could have someone to my home Monday, yesterday, at 2:00.
Jonathan arrived promptly. Not only did he find the source of the leak, but when I mentioned that I was concerned about our water bill being a little higher than usual, he proceeded to not only check our other toilets for leaks, he also checked our water heater and checked the water line outside. No leaks, awesome.
I am completely thrilled at how much attention Jonathan paid to other plumbing fixtures in my home without me even having to ask him.
I would not hesitate to use Plumb Professionals again.
Thank you for your help.

Made an appointment. Resident at the property took time out of their day to allow plumber access to the property. Plumber never showed up. Did not even have the most basic professional courtesy to call and cancel. Would not recommend.

Quick and accommodating. Recognized issues and new how to resolve them. Great value.

We had a backyard bib pipe that was leaking somewhere in the wall. The plumber, Khalid, was absolutely remarkable! First when requesting a direct quote, his communication was quick, and pricing was very reasonable. Moreover, he communicated with me throughout the whole experience. I was able to show him a picture of what the situation was in advance so he could come in knowing what the issue was regarding. He arrived at our hour exactly when he estimated he was going to arrive, which was perfect. He was extremely knowledgeable about my leaking pipe and was able to correct the issue better than it was before as well as educate me on what most likely had caused the issue! In order to get to the pipe some of the drywall had to be removed, which he was able to do skillfully and cleanly. Furthermore, he was able to patch my drywall back three hundred times better than what it was before.
I don't understand how this service does not have more reviews because the work that was done was absolutely phenomenal and if there was a six star I could give, I would! Service, Communication, and knowledge was A+ and I will definitely use this service again if I run into trouble with my plumbing issues.

I work for a property management company and have been working with JF for the past three years. I always have a great experience. Nancy and Melanie in the office are phenomenal - so friendly and accommodating. The plumbers on the team are efficient and professional so I can trust that the issue is resolved.

This is the second time we've had service. This time we had a gaping golf-ball sized hole in our laundry tub drain pipe. Couldn't run water or do laundry. After band aiding a couple times , called DBs. Duncan came out and tried a work-around bit because of the age of the concrete tub itself and the material used on original drain, fix was not possible. Only solution was to install a new tub. Duncan and Trevor came for the install. They had to demolish the old concrete fixture, haul it piece by piece upstairs and out in the pouring rain. They reconfigured some piping and Installed a couple new valves. We expected a 2+ hour job but it took less than that including welding and installation. The ONLY thing left a bit undone was a better clean up of debris on the floor. BUT we love these guys and will continue using their service!

This is my second time using Heil they are always responsive. They are trustworthy and tell you everything you need to know. I want to say thank you to Brandon who came and snaked my line to the street and to Otto, John, and Chon who came out the next day and repaired my pipe that had a whole and a tree root found it's way in. They were able to get to the pipe without digging up the concrete and cosmetic more money. And Ike for the camera to identify what the problem was and being. Responsive to my questions. You guys are awesome and I Will highly recommend!!

So we went with another highly rated company on yelp originally and when they came out they gave me a quote and said that it would be another week before they could actually fix my issues. The quote was insanely high, to the point I felt like they were ripping off this little lady.
I got an estimate via Yelp from Donzelle and I asked if he could come. There were a couple more follow up questions in an effort for him to dial in the quote even more and to make sure he brought the correct fixtures.
He was able to fix the leak pretty quickly - but didn't bring the correct fixtures (my fault). He came the next day though to finish the job. Also, he fixed my loose toliet seat that I've been too lazy to fix, as well as giving me some maintance tips to keep my tankless water heater working.
I've had big time plumbers come through and I've had small companies come through. But Donelle is my go to plumber from now on. He was polite, efficient, gave me a fair price, and was a stand up guy. I will be recommending him to all my friends.

These guys were great, friendly, professional, and effective. They fixed an issue with the plumbing of my sink very quickly and showed up on time. They were also very responsive via text/phone call and was highly flexible around our schedule. We would highly recommend their service.

We recently purchased a house and needed our new sink, faucet, and garbage disposal hooked up. Matthew came out the next day and did a fantastic job. I will definitely call Matt for any other jobs we have in the future!

I wanted to have the water heater flushed, Drain Works Plumbing arrived promptly and explained their procedure, the drain valve was clogged with sediment and broke during an attempt to clear the valve, the water was drained bucket by bucket, the valve was replaced and the flushing process was completed. I'm happy with the maintenance and repair.

Very prompt and quick repair. Quote received before repair performed. Explained why it happened and what needed to be done to fix it. Also recommended a few things in the basement, like insulating the ductwork prior to sheetrock. Very nice crew. :)
