Best Drain Cleaning in Washington DC
All about the money- they wanted to charge me 350 for an ac capacitor replacement- that's a 10 dollar part and takes all of 15-20 minutes. I know because i replaced it myself and have replaced on other units in the past. So you want to make over 300/hour with absolutely minimal education/degree???? I had also paid a service fee for them to come out that they weren't willing to subtract from the ac capacitor replacement charge. There are additional details that are too much to go into but it's clear this company is all about charging the highest price and has absolutely no customer service skills. I do not recommend this company.

Mr. Mehran was very responsive to my request for having bathroom fixtures replaces and I appreciate promptness of his response.

My 2 ton heat pump was malfunctioning and I called 3 HVAC companies to determine the problem and suggest solutions. The first quoted me $6500 to replace the unit, or $450 to replace a key part that wasn't working properly, but recommended that I go for the full replace as my unit is 15 years old. The second quoted me a lower price ($550) and also told me I had a freon leak. Joey from Sila visited last. He couldn't have been friendlier and more knowledgable. He quickly determined that some switches were set incorrectly, changed the settings, and the problem was fixed! He also went out of his way to check the air flow in each room as well as several other ancillary details. I highly recommend.

Used Clark since the 70. Called for a leaky faucet. Ed came and I was told I needed a new faucet and understood the leak would be fixed. The receipt for the $69 house call did not mention any additional charges for the leak. . After a week of mix ups Clark finally returned with he new faucets. Then, at the site, I was told it would cost almost another $400 to fix the leak which was the original problem in addition to almost $800 for the new faucets. The owner Steve was not available, there was no one els to discuss it with and they said Steve would call???
Very dissatisfied and feel as though I was rolled..

Things may have changed with this business over the past year because my of most recent experience.
An evaporator coil on my Goodman HVAC that was leaking last year (4/3/2018) was estimated by Snell for $2K by Gary A (Technician) and instead I decided to forego another year and refill our unit with refrigerant for $400. This year (2019) as I knew what needed to be replaced and had done further research on the evaporator coil replacement, I reached out to Snell for estimates to replace and this is exactly the message I received from Mr. Andy Horensky, Service Manager @ Snell
I wanted to contact you in regards to our visit with MOE on 4/8/19. First off, thank you for being a loyal club member with Snell. We certainly appreciate you choosing our service. Our technician did confirm that the current evaporator coil is leaking. The refrigerant that was added last year has been slowly leaking out. To replace just the current evaporator coil the cost is going to $4,000. This includes 5 year parts and 2 year labor.
I also reached out to 2 other vendors (Donmar and 495HVAC) quoting $1700 and $2000 to replace the evaporator coil. So I responded back to Andy @ Snell about why it was now 2x the cost compared their quote last year and compared with the other estimates, Andy rambled on some more about because of rising costs of parts and labor...yada...yada...yada...blah...blah...blah... as he knew I caught them in a lie.
Nevertheless, they lost my service contract and my business for good and I ended up going with Donmar and replacing the entire HVAC unit with a 15-yr rated Carrier unit for $4500, slightly above their overestimated, inaccurate and untrustworthy costs of $4K for a single evaporator coil.

They came out today... and I cant say enough wonderful things. I'd give 10 stars if I could. I have a shower in a bathtub that had been REBATHED 10 years ago... and I was fearing the worst... that the tile would have had to be torn out. On Friday, I called and JT set up an 8AM appointment for today (Monday). Crew of two arrived on time, no BS.. said that a cartridge' was all that was needed. WHEW!!! The bottom line... its so hard to find a company that is honest and trustworthy... who shows up on time... and does the work at a very moderate price. W L Staton is that kind of company. They are now my plumbers for life. Only a fool would call a company with a name that rhymes with Ben The Plumber!!!

I had a toilet pipe leak that was in the drywall between two floors. With the current pandemic situation, I had trepidation about having plumbers come by for quotes so my husband and I did a lot of investigation and sent detailed emails with photos to various plumbers to ask for quotes. After speaking to several plumbing companies/plumbers, Leo and Plumbing Professionals were the only ones who read my email, understood the problem and addressed my concerns. Michael came out to take a look and he ended up doing the repairs along with Kyle. Overall, I'm very happy with the entire experience. Communication was also prompt, up to date and clear. I knew what was being done, when and how much it would cost every step of the way. The estimate was reasonable and they actually ended up completing the repair for less than what they quoted us. During the day of the repair, Micheal and Kyle were very kind, efficient and courteous, making sure to not make too much noise as my husband and I are both working from home during this pandemic. They both had masks and gloves on the whole time. They also made sure to keep the work areas tidy (as tidy as one can possibly be when dealing with toilet pipes). Considering the complexity of the repair (we had a crack in the cast iron drain pipe that was pretty hard to access and had to be cut out to be replaced), they did a great job in less time than both my husband and I expected. We're very happy to have gone with Plumb Professionals and Michael for this repair.

My family and just returned from vacation last night to discover we had no hot water. I went through the yelp find a business and Kahlid responded within 15 mins and was able to come out to the house within 2 hours! He was able to fix the issue and we are good to go. He was very Courteous and even showed me how to fix the issue if it ever arises again. I definitely recommend Get it Right Services .

As a realtor walking buyers through the home inspection process, JF Plumbing has been a valuable resource as well as a great company to provide corrective action. Often times a small plumbing repair timely done results in significant savings. Always available and timely, I highly recommend JF Plumbing.

We had to have the fire department respond for a gas leak. It was ultimately determined that the oven gas line and the connection valve needed replacement. After checking reviews on the internet my wife selected this company. They were exceedingly responsive. They arrived within about 30 minutes of our call. They sent a photo of their plumbing technician prior to his arrival. The plumber Shane was polite and at all times remained polite and pleasant. So far a great choice.
I explained to him the task at hand and he gave us an estimate of $442.00. My wife and I were kind of shocked that it was so expensive for what looked like a fairly straightforward job. When we hesitated, and told him that we were reluctant to have him do the job, he immediately offered a 10% reduction. We asked him why it was so expensive, he explained that he would have to turn the gas supply off at the outside gas meter, replace the parts, and then turn the gas back on and relight the pilot lights in the house.
When we asked how long it would take, he said that it wasn't the company policy to bidbased on time, but by the job and its complexity, but that a job of this nature can take as long as two and a half hours.
He was done in 32 minutes, and that included two trips to his truck. The bill was $396.00. So, an hourly rate of $ 796.00 an hour. He did not have to shut the gas off at the meter. All of the plants and flowers that surround the meter were undisturbed as were the cobwebs on the meter.
I'm a capitalist I'm all for a person making a profit, but that is ridiculous. When my wife called and spoke to the manager, he was respectful, but totally unapologetic. Four hundred dollars is not going to send me into bankruptcy, but I imagine there are some struggling folks out there that would be put in a very hard place.
We have used DB prior to this, but I promise it will not happen again.

Donzelle was awesome. We had an emergency plumbing situation (backup flowing up through my tenant's shower drain...pretty gross), and Donzelle was the first person to respond to my requests. His communication was excellent throughout, his prices were fair, and he responded immediately. He was also able to work with the tenant to find a time that worked best for everybody for follow-up work. He didn't try to upsell or pressure us based on the situation and his quality of work was fantastic. Sent pictures and updates throughout, cleaned up, and my tenant also reported that he was very satisfied. Super professional, 5 stars.

Best service! I discovered a crack in a cast iron drain midday, called a few plumbers based on reviews, and chose Opata Plumbing Services. I made a great choice. Mathugh was professional, skilled, responsive, courteous, and overall an upstanding person. He replaced the cracked pipe that same day. To his credit, Mathugh arrived after 6 pm and had a relatively big job fixed in a few hours. Mind blown. I was so impressed with the service that I hired Opata Plumbing Services on the spot for another project. I found my forever plumber - if I need plumbing services, I'll call Mathugh!

I was in need of an urgent repair. They responded very quickly and had a technician in my home within an hour. He was extremely knowledgeable and found the root cause of the problem, repaired it and charged me a very reasonable fee. I highly recommend!

They were recommended by a co-worker. I really liked them at first for drain cleaning and installing 2 toilets, and a kitchen sink faucet.
I later called about a tub and tub surround. I was told they could install. 3 men came and it took them about 2 weeks to complete. They would tell me that they were coming back the next day, then no call, no show. I would have to call Melisa and ask when they were coming back. I would get a new date and time, no call, no show. I would have to call/text again. Reschedule and maybe I would get a call that Kurt was held up at another job. We'd reschedule again, and they show up to do some work on the tub/surround. Finally, after 2 weeks, they finished. A month or so goes by, now my surround has an air bubble behind the wall. Eventually, it moved all the way down to the bottom of the wall. Now I'm back on the phone texting to see when they can come and fix it. After several times of missed appointments, Kurt finally shows up to assess the problem. He really doesn't know how it happened, but he will be back on Saturday to fix it. No call, no show on Saturday. I text him and he say I promise Miss Robin, I'll be there on Wednesday. No call, no show. I've tried texting him and Melisa, and no answer from either of them. I guess my hubby and I will have to fix it ourselves. They sure don't have a problem taking your money, but they are not reliable, and they don't stand behind their work!

We just bought a home and there were some time sensitive plumbing needs. We needed to have the inside home main water shutoff valve replaced, in addition to a leaky spigot out back. I called to make an appointment and Champion Plumbing was able to come out same day to review our issue and the following morning to resolve both of our plumbing issues. They worked efficiently and for a fair price. We'll definitely consider them again for future plumbing needs.
