The tech that came out was very skillful and knowledgeable.  He was able to locate our problem in our sewer line, it was dug up and fixed in the same day.  Everything was cleaned up and working perfectly.  Great company with a very professional staff from start to finish.  I definitely recommend them!

We had a wonderful experience with Ally. Fair quote when compared to a few other companies. I appreciated the honest information to help us choose a unit and also choose to go with ally. Other companies where tossing in extra services that were not needed or didn't have a great value to begin with. Ally did some extra cross checking and got back to me almost immediately to answer my questions.

My only complaints:

1. When scheduling install we were not told that it was going to take two days. Or that they needed access to the craw space. Fortunately, I made note of a crawl space comment during a previous quote and cleaned out our storage area/crawl space the night before. We were able to work around the scheduling issues for day two. But I had to leave work quickly on the last day of school (teacher) to rush home and lock my dogs in and go back to work. Again, made it work. But it would have been nice to know that this was a two day job upfront.

2. We are still waiting on the blanket for the unit to reduce noise as it wasn't available on our install days.

We were very happy with SeaTown. They installed a four-zone heat pump HVAC system in our house in Ballard. Brandon, Cody and the team are always super friendly, honest, patient when explaining what they are doing and what to expect. The installers and electricians take the time to talk through how they plan to install the system and where all the ductwork will go before actually proceeding which I found very refreshing and different than most contractors. I would highly recommend them to other homeowners and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again myself.

This small company is the best! Joe answered the phone right away. He gave me a cheap fix at first. It didn't work, so we called him back. He and his team came over right away. They did something quick. It still backed up so he came right back and did temporary fix so that we could use it until they could come back. Today we had a a 3 men for 8 hours. It's all fixed. Joe was a nice and honest man. We appreciated the team's very hard work. Priceless.

Very nice - Tom (one of the owners) came to give me the estimate on replacing our water heater. He was super helpful about the estimate, and was even willing to confab on the phone with my brother at no charge (FYI - my brother does HVAC but across the country, and I checked all my bids with him before I made a decision). We were able to get installation within a week of our call. Two stars off because the first team didn't finish the job and were just going to leave it undone til they could get back, which didn't work for me, because I had already arranged one day off of work, and couldn't get another day off. But add back one star because the owner called back within 20 minutes to say he would come by to finish the last little part of the job- at 5:45pm! The work was done very well, and no mess left behind. I would definitely call them again for new jobs.

Very friendly and reasonably priced. The plumbing and heating specialist was on time for the scheduled service and was very knowledgeable of both our furnace and plumbing needs. We will definitely reach out for any related services in the future. Thank you!

We are in the process of remodeling our 1977 house. Our house is all original and needs a lot of work. We needed a plumber to help us with multiple jobs. He started off helping us fix a leaky outdoor hose faucet. We then relocated our washer and dryer, installed 2 heat pumps, 1 new furnace and upgraded our other one, removed our water heater and installed a tankless water heater. Brian came in with so much knowledge, help, suggestions and on top of all of that a positive attitude. He showed up each day with a smile on his face and happy to do the work. Brian is professional, polite, courteous and fair.  Along the way we had some unexpected fixes that Brian was able to help us with, even coming in to work on the weekend. We highly recommend Brian.

We are new to Renton and had some electrical issues, called Beacon at 7pm on a Friday and they were able to fit us in for an appointment.  Zach and Dennis showed up an hour later and fixed all of our issues.  Very transparent and honest people.  When I asked about what motivates them to take care of their customers, they said they are taken care of by the owner and they love their work and make sure they take care of their customers.  They shared that the owner, they said the owner will have dinner waiting for them at home many times.  
Really impressed with the people and the company.

After moving into our condo we immediately needed a new expansion tank. I got an appointment for the very next morning for the replacement and a complimentary inspection. Very professional, fast, and great customer service. Thanks for the help! Would definitely recommend GHP and work with them again.

I recently had Resicon install an electric furnace for me. I am very impressed with this company, the two men, Bryan and David, who did the installation were efficient, knowledgeable and very courteous. They were very respectful of my home and I believe went over and beyond their duty as installers. Later I had occasion to meet with Jason, who also represented Resicon extremely well. I would recommend this company with no hesitance.  

As a side note I am 87 and the owner or Resicon has been very pleasant in trying to help me learn to work with my new thermostat. Thank you Resicon.

Timely response, courteous technician. But was quite expensive due mostly to out of business hours call.. Nevertheless all charges were quoted up front, so there were no surprises. Badly plugged toilet was fixed in less than 5 minutes. Altogether a good experience.

AVOID BEACON PLUMBING
I will try to keep this somewhat concise. We had an issue with our garbage disposal and needed to get professional help. Beacon came to the rescue and replaced our broken disposal. However, the technician failed to properly secure the emergency drain that sits on top of the counter. Seems like something a plumber should know to check. The next day, I ran the dishwasher and came home to a flooded kitchen because the emergency drain and the hose connected to it separated and spilled dish water everywhere. A different technician came back and fixed the issue with the drain and Beacon is paying to have a flood repair company fix the damage. Sounds ok so far.

Nearly three days after the incident, I finally heard from Beacon. There was no proactive follow up to see how things were going with the mess they created. Instead, I had to ask the flood repair company technician to speak with his superiors to get in contact with Beacon to let them know I was waiting for a call. The person from Beacon who handles all customer complaints contacted me, told me he was sorry, but offered nothing to make it right. No discount on the service, no discount on future service, no funds to offset the increased electrical from all of the repair equipment, or the fact that my kitchen is largely unusable when it comes to preparing meals so we'll be forced to dine out, or for the inconvenience of it all. NOTHING. In fact, his rationale was that they provided the services and so there was no reason to offer any refund of any kind. He chalked it up to human mistakes.

I understand human mistakes, but this person could learn from what we teach our children. When you make a mistake that impacts someone else you 1) tell them you are sorry, and 2) ask them what you can do to help. This person from Beacon never once tried to do anything to make it right. I told him that I cannot think of a single company that I deal with on a regular basis that would handle a customer situation like this.

I'm so stunned at how this has been handled. It makes me wonder if my disposal actually needed to be replaced?!?! What I can say with certainty is that I will not engage with or recommend Beacon Plumbing to anyone for anything. I'll find myself a plumber that cares about their customer experience.

This company is so easy and nice to work with. A few months ago we had our furnace replaced. The installation was done by Josh who was efficient and cordial. A few days ago I got a call from the company who informed me that the furnace they installed has a recall on a part and they wanted to come replace it. It was Josh who came by again and I was reminded and inspired to share how great this company is. I would recommend Gene Johnson Heating and Plumbing to anyone, request Josh to be your technician.

I am totally embarrassed; I was scammed, better than anyone else, by Audie at Southwest Plumbing!
I called Southwest plumbing to verify the integrity of my gas line shutoff valve on my stubbed out gas line to the gas kitchen stove. (at the request of the appliance installers)
Audie advised me that he could only warranty it if I agreed to replace the valve, and I did.
My insurance company asked for justification why the replacement was nearly twice the reasonable and customary cost for this replacement.
Every time I called Southwest Plumbing to get this justification, they were hostile, would not offer any justification, and offered me a $50 rebate.
I had two additional companies provide me estimates for this same work, and both were less than 50% of of the cost I paid Southwest Plumbing.
In addition, I was advised that the valve installed by Southwest Plumbing, was a unique valve, tied to a unique gas line to the stove.  When I called to see if my current gas line connector was compatible, no one ever returned my call.
But wait, good new! I did recently receive a nice Christmas Card from Southwest plumbing,

I should have review this business 2 years ago when they came to my house to look at my gas furnace which was making a squeaking noise.  I was told that it would cost $400 plus to fix the problem plus another $150 (I think?) to clean the unit and that my furnace needed to be replaced soon.  They even scheduled a salesman to come and give me a quote for a new furnace.  Long story short, I called my uncle for advice and he looked up the part and the part was less than $30 and so the labor to was going to be about $370.  The actual time to replace would be about 15 to 20 minutes.  Outrageous.  I then called another local business and they agreed to fix it for $100 and they cleaned the whole thing as well for $80.  
This business is going to rob you!!!   BEWARE!!!!  
P.S. My furnace is working great 2 years later.

Fast forward: freedom hvac and air sent Reese to inspect and clean furnace. Working great 3 years after black lake furnace repair advised me to replace.
