Best Gas Furnace Installation in Seattle WA

Excellent service! We had a leak coming from a kitchen pipe located in our crawl space and Brandon did an amazing job. He was very professional and friendly too. Really appreciated how fast they were able to come out and help us!

Our water heater died today. Temps in the teens. I called 3 companies I have worked with in the past and all could not come to my home until next week. I called Done Right and spoke with Tracy who sent a team out the same day and did a great job at a reasonable price. I appreciate all of you!

The tech that came out was very skillful and knowledgeable.  He was able to locate our problem in our sewer line, it was dug up and fixed in the same day.  Everything was cleaned up and working perfectly.  Great company with a very professional staff from start to finish.  I definitely recommend them!

I wish I could give 4.5 starts.

We had a wonderful experience with Ally. Fair quote when compared to a few other companies. I appreciated the honest information to help us choose a unit and also choose to go with ally. Other companies where tossing in extra services that were not needed or didn't have a great value to begin with. Ally did some extra cross checking and got back to me almost immediately to answer my questions.

My only complaints:

1. When scheduling install we were not told that it was going to take two days. Or that they needed access to the craw space. Fortunately, I made note of a crawl space comment during a previous quote and cleaned out our storage area/crawl space the night before. We were able to work around the scheduling issues for day two. But I had to leave work quickly on the last day of school (teacher) to rush home and lock my dogs in and go back to work. Again, made it work. But it would have been nice to know that this was a two day job upfront.

2. We are still waiting on the blanket for the unit to reduce noise as it wasn't available on our install days.

Tyler came out and gave a comprehensive quote for a new furnace and cooling options for me. He answered every single question, and was very open to me showing other quotes from other companies and helping me understand them in a non-biased way. He also took every care to be Covid-careful! Gloves, mask, santizer ON the gloves! It underlined to me that he really cared.

He was really easy to talk to, and I felt confident in the information. I didn't end up going with them, because of my own budget reasons! But! Any future job I'd be really confident to go with Seatown because of Tyler.  In regards to pricing, they were among the best prices I found with the most options. It was a very narrow race.

Spoke to scheduler on Saturday. Had option for Sun or Mon. She informed us would be $95 extra charge for Sunday. I said ok. We had a simple pinhole in hot water pipe and had cut our drywall to expose pipe. The pipe needed to be replaced w PEX (plastic pipe) but not the tools to do it. The plumber arrived on time, and looked at problem. He said it would cost $1,200!!! Plus the $95 Sunday fee. Of course we had our hot water off for last 24 hrs and did not have another plumber lined up. He wanted to know if we wanted to go ahead....Really not happy with the holding us over the barrel tactic. We said go ahead. He replaced pipe and cleaned up in 85 minutes.  Fast and tidy-a plus, but at $15 a MINUTE!!! We DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Very knowledgeable and great value during the replacement of our new water heater. Thank you Tim and Steve!  Definitely will be calling again on our next project.

Totally was safe w/PPE. Very professional. I highly recommend this company. Both co-owners Tom & Darrell do care!

Brian came out and replaced an outdoor faucet for us. He was polite, professional and very honest. While he came out to replace that faucet for us, but I had a couple of questions about other things, and he took the time to take a look around and gave some advice about other projects we needed to do around the house, including ranking what was most important and the estimated costs involved with them.

I truly appreciate Brian and look forward to working with him on some of the additional things that need to happen to make our home safer and more efficient!

Another electrical company installed a generator six months ago and wired it improperly into our circuit panel.  It arched and disrupted our Electric service, it was still arcing when I called the original company and was told that none of their workers wanted to come out on a Saturday. I contacted Beacon electric explained our issue which they took very seriously as it put our house burning down at risk they were at my house within 30 minutes, and fix the problem professionally, And reasonably priced, I am forever grateful for the responsiveness and the kindness they showed and taking care of our work including the electrician Ali Hall, and the owner of Beacon electric with his attention to our needs

Navid came out and replaced a leaking pipe for me. He was curious, quick, and I have zero complaints.  They fit me in their schedule and even were able to do it sooner than expected.  I'll be using them again in the future.

I was looking forward to using this company, but after calling the first time, they were supposed to call me back, never did- I figured no big deal, it was leading into a holiday weekend. So I call them this week, set up an appointment for 10am- and at 1030 I get a call that they need to push it back to the afternoon. I'm at work and I had my partner already change his work schedule to be able to do 10am. By 1030 no one has shown up and I finally get a call that they need to reschedule again last min. I understand that things come up but I work in an appointment based industry and would never inconvenience my customers repeatedly like this. I wish I could say that I would want work done but being on time and respecting others time is in tune with doing a quality job as well so I'll hopefully find a different company that can do both.

Edited to add: I wish your speed and accuracy in replying to yelp was used today and this past week. Then I'm sure I had stayed a customer.

Timely response, courteous technician. But was quite expensive due mostly to out of business hours call.. Nevertheless all charges were quoted up front, so there were no surprises. Badly plugged toilet was fixed in less than 5 minutes. Altogether a good experience.

We didn't even know how to shut off the water main properly and somehow thought we could handle a pipe replacement. Beacon Plumbing came on short notice to save us from our failed attempt. Jesus is the technician helping us out, and he kept us updated on his arrival time, came in with shoe covers without even being asked. Jesus identified the issue quickly and fixed things right up, all while being super friendly.  

The price was a bit steep, but considering that it was an evening emergency call, and a job well done, we still consider it well worth the cost.

Another great experience with Gene Johnson plumbing. Same day appt made for a kitchen faucet leak.  Crew showed up on time with a Pre arrival phone call, got right to business and had faucet fixed in 20 minutes.  Fast, friendly and highly competent.

I used Southwest Plumbing to cap a broken line to a sink. It was late in the day and they did come out until 9pm. I was told I would not be charged emergency or late day charges.
That being said, the good news is that they were courteous and professional and got the job done. The cost for two caps and a new shut off valve in one hour of work was $971.  This is very high for minimal parts and time. They won't guarantee the work because my PSI is at 100 and for $700 more they would install a regulator. No thanks. Hopefully I won't need to use this company again.

Managing a rental, I had Black Hills come and check the gas furnace. A service call runs about $109. They had me sign up for the gold plan touting it's value. For this, I pay about $30/month believing it would offer discounts for repairs. When this year the heat exchanger was cracked, though still under warranty, I found that the value i had purchased was literally zero. In fact, I'd paid Black Hills exactly $720 over two years so they have gotten $500 of my money for nothing if you consider that I've paid for 2 years of inspection visits at $109.  I brought this up to the sales manager and he offered to meet with me and give me a bid for a new furnace. His bid was outrageous...never specified the exact brand and model number of furnace, and clearly made up the numbers as he went along. My husband googled what a wholesale furnace company charged for the furnaces he mentions; wholesale prices were in the $1200-$1400 range and the quote for the work on our place came to a whopping $4367.77. This was the price after he penciled in a $467 discount. This was fully $1200 more than any other bids we got. I'd advise to stay away from this company; their sales pitch is, in my opinion, dishonest, and designed to scare you into believing your furnace is unsafe and about to blast you with carbon monoxide, when in fact, a bit of research will show otherwise. Don't sign up for the maintenance plan, it's a total waste of money.
