Best Plumbing Inspection in San Francisco CA

Once again we called on Mr. Rooter for help and were very pleased with the good service. Uriel came on time, assessed the situation with our ancient plumbing, and fixed it. Courteous, able and willing to put in the time and effort to figure out our old house fixture. Thank you; it is so nice to be able to depend on a good plumber.

The appoint process was a joy. Then Cameron arrived right on time and cleaned our line from house to street as I requested. He first used a 3 rooter in our 4 pipe, then did a camera run, which showed that though there were no breakages in our 58 year old pipe (lucky us!) one could see multiple places where roots had gotten in and created tell-tale backup lines along the sides.  Cameron then made another run with a 4' rooter to really clean the pipe, and did another camera run. The 5 stars reviews held true for me, as this company is a delight to work with!

I had a leak in my gas main and had to shut everything off. I called up Bay Rooter in the afternoon on Monday -- they had someone out within an hour to inspect the situation and scheduled a fix for the next morning at 9am. Promptly at 9am I got a knock on the door. He came in, shut off all my valves and appliances, and began fixing my leak.

In the process of fixing, he checked the full system, finding 7 additional leaks (and showing me pictures of the leaks under my house, spraying bubbles on the ones for me to see in my house).

Throughout the entire process, he kept me informed of what he found, what he was fixing, and even showed me how he was identifying the leaks. He had to make 2 trips to the store to pick up specific pieces to replace piping or valves that were corroded and broken. All told, he spent 7 and a half hours under my house in a cramped crawl space.

The situation was a lot worse than we had originally thought, so the bill was higher than the original estimate, but I felt I was getting a very fair deal and in the end he gave me a bit of a discount off the revised estimate.

I am so much more at ease to know my gas lines have been inspected and fixed, and I am confidant in that ease because of the level of detail he provided at each step along the way.

All told, it was a very fairly priced, 5-star quality job and Bay Rooter is my new go-to plumbing company. I'm very happy with their work and hope that this review will get them the business they deserve.

Hands down, The best of the bay. Great price and excellent customer service. Jorge is the man. I dialed the number and in under 5-10 minutes he is right by my door ready to fix the problem. His parts and tools plus the van is top of the line. He silenced the noise in my bathroom and made the plumbing work again. I had spent a good part of a Sunday trying to clear a clogged kitchen sink drain, to no avail.  Looking online, I liked the reviews I saw for JJ Rooter & Plumbing and called them Sunday night.  They set up an appointment for Monday morning and showed up on time.  They spent hours trying to clear a 64 year old galvanized pipe line with a snake.  After hours of work, they did manage to clear the line, but clearing the line put holes in the pipe that was being held together by rust and corrosion.  They left to buy supplies and returned in the afternoon to replace about 25 feet of pipe and adding two new cleanouts in the process.  They were polite, worked hard, and solved a bad problem in one day.  What more could you ask?

Great people to work with, prompt replies to my phone call for a cleanout service. Mauro is a resourceful guy.

Would highly recommend Emilio for any plumbing help. He cleaned roots out of a 4 inch main line for us. He was on time, clean, helpful and courteous. Price was very reasonable. I plan on using him for all my future plumbing needs.

Definitely will find Drigo again if I need any help next time. Last night I noticed there was a water leakage from my warm water heater with abnormal gas sound. We can even gas. We can only stop the water input  and gas input in the middle of the night as a temporary solution. Called Drigo at 7am on the next day to ask for same day service. It is so nice that he provided me a estimated quote after sending him some pictures of our warm water heater in 30 mins. Drigo is very responsive and professional, he answered all my questions almost in a second. He found out that our water heater is already 17 years old, and he installed a new one within 3 hours( including the time he went out to get the parts). Overall, the service is A+; would recommend to anyone who is looking for help similar to my case.

I was absolutely impressed by PipeSpy from beginning to end. From the initial phone conversation, 1st visit to assess the situation and finally, to Pedro and his crew and the e cells that job they did in one day. I totally recommend this company and their tram.

My anxiety level always rises when I get a call after 11pm.  Worst case scenario: a family emergency or a sewer backup. When it's raining hard, guess which one it is?.  After a couple of nasty nighttime backups, it was time to face reality and get the seweroscopy.  The rooter guys put the camera down and discovered a sewer belly, or dip in the sewer line where crap collects; time to replace at least 20' of  our ancient clay main sewer line.  We selected 3 firms from Consumers Checkbook to estimate the job. We chose Jeff from Ace Plumbing for the job. Why? Jeff answered the phone every time, arrived on time,  completed the estimate when promised and was sooo easy to work with.  Jeff was available on site, keeping the project on schedule, despite the unsurprising surprises.  Throughout the job, we observed how well the Ace Plumbing field teams work together.  Of course, it passed inspection the first time. As a bonus, Ace's estimate matched the other lowest estimate.  Easy five stars.

Excellent communication! Easy to schedule appointment and everyone seems very organized. Marvin arrived on time and provided a lot of information and good tips.  He fixed our leaky kitchen sink and cleansed our tankless water heater.  Very pleased with the service and will def call them back for any future plumbing issues.

We had a sewer backup on Tuesday morning.  I called them around 10am and asked if they could come out that day.  He said yes and quoted me a fair price for getting the line jetted.  He came out right on time and was thorough with the work.  Ben was so nice, communicated everything that was going on with our sewer line and even showed us the photo of inside the line (exciting) and got us back to a working state again.  We will definitely use them again.  Highly recommend!

Made appointment for a drainage issue at our house and was told they would be out by text and initial discussion not called back until after the appointment window and then was told they had no one else and booked for the day

Went to a local competitor jc green with great results and fast service would not recommend rooter hero

Slick website with great pricing but weak follow up

Called on the basis of a yelp rating; called back, was late 1 hour.  Was told that it would be overtime pricing; ok, I said.

  Arrived and used the hose to clean out the drain; spent less than 20 minutes and had a fixed charge of $336.00 and did not even use the electric snake to clean out the drain.   Qualified to make the repair, yes, but hold your wallet and be sure to ask for an estimate before they start any work.  

  I've had a regular plumber until he retired earlier this year; cleaned drain for far less money than this.  I might have felt better about the amount had they not been late.

I called to set up an appointment for an estimate and we arranged an appointment for the following week. They no called/no showed. When I called them to ask what happened, they said I wasn't on their calendar at all. They tried to arrange another appointment but I said no thank you, I prefer a company that is more organized.

My condo had a small leak so I scheduled the work with a plumbing company. The plumbing company I scheduled the work with ended up cancelling on me last minute so I ended up calling Avalon Services. They were able to come the same day. I was very happy with how fast they responded to my service call. Highly recommend.

Rene and his crew performed a great job replacing our sewer lateral to receive the 20-year certificate for our home from East Bay MUD.  California Discount Rooter and plumbing were able to come out on Saturday to give us a quote and he also performed a quick check of the integrity of the pipe using a camera.  He gave us two options, one a pressure test for a 7-year certificate and a pipe replacement for the 20-year certificate.  Ultimately, we decided on replacing the pipe for our ease of mind for the next 20 years.  The California Discount Rooter was able to replace the pipe and have it inspected by EBMUD in half a day within the same week of getting the quote.

This person farmed out my request for Electrician help to some other random person he supposedly works with. That person responded, confirmed an appointment with me to provide an estimate and then cancelled the day of to work on something else more time sensitive. He mentioned he would be in contact to reschedule and then never reached out.

I had to reach out to him 5 days later only for him to respond he was no longer interested as he's out of town. Is it too much to expect professional and proactive communication? I can't recommend working with these people based on this experience.

Efrain, Jorge and Johan are the best plumbers in town! They explain the plumbing issues thoroughly and give the best solutions! Also they're definitely affordable. I use them for all the apartments I manage. I highly recommend Ideal Rooter & Plumbing!
