Best Electric Water Heater Inst… in San Francisco CA
I called them for a professional evaluation of my plumbing system that showed serious signs of corrosion. They came, gave me honest advise that did not include selling me any new services or a new system, which would have been easy to do. I therefore highly recommend them based on their professionalism, honesty and integrity.

I needed my water heater pilot to be replaced. Was told by other plumbers I need to replace the entire pilot unit, which would have cost me over $300.00. I called Tromborg and they knew how to replace the pilot without replacing the entire unit. Saved me over $150!
I've used Tromborg for 20 years and always receive great service.

So...apparently, I'm super picky when it comes to plumbing. Because what started as one replacement turned into replacing EVERYTHING I could think of related to plumbing. Showerhead, new angle valves (ok, this was an HOA requirement), new kitchen faucet, garbage disposal...and probably something I'm forgetting.
First, Jill was great at communicating scheduling and timing, which I really appreciated. She made sure to update me with any changes or scheduling snafus that came up.
Second, Brian did all the work I decided to add on and did it all with a great attitude! Super efficient, knowledgable, and talked me down from panicking about the HOA getting mad at me.
Totally recommend these guys for your plumbing needs, and thank you Brian for all your patience!

Edgar has been out to my house four times in the last year: once to troubleshoot a toilet, once to fix a tenant-discovered leak while I was on vacation, once to install a dishwasher, and today to install a hot water heater. I'm a retired general contractor and have been around more than a fair share of incompetent tradespeople. This guy, Edgar, knows his shit. He is an absolute pleasure to deal with. 5 stars all the way.

Heise's answered the phone immediately during the middle of storm when our basement was flooding. We have a complicated hydronic hot water/central heating system that other plumbers had declined to work on. Sergio set about researching and investigating the system like a scientist. Heise's found the only replacement for it, and we soon had hot water and central heating working better than it ever had done, better than when it was first installed! Sergio and his crew are always pleasant to work with and responsive - THANK YOU!

Stay away from Plumbing Guys unless you have lots and lots of time waiting for him to come back to fix what he didn't do right in the first place. And you cannot believe him when he sets a time. He installed a sump pump after my furnace flooded. Simple, right? $1,200. I called him at 9:00 a.m. when it failed with next rain a week later. He said he would be here in 45 minutes. After leaving many messages, I got a call back at 6:45 p.m. apologizing and saying he would be at the house at 9:00 the next morning. When he finally arrived at 1:00, he found they needed to fix installation. Said he would be there next morning. Finally showed up a day and a half later. Did job. Next rain it failed again. Said he would be there next morning. After I left several messages, a man showed up at 3:45, tinkered with it, and said it was fixed. It wasn't. When I checked 30 minutes later, found area still flooded. Made another call. Again many apologies and promise to have someone here by 9:00 a.m. It's after 1:00 p.m. I give up! I am going to hire someone reliable and send the bill for his/her services to Plumbing Guys. Probably will end up in Small Claims court. At least there I know I will be on a docket where the case is likely to come up at or near a scheduled time. And in the meantime I will have some heat in my house. Very nice guy, but you can't believe a word he says.

I can't say enough about the great experience I had with Berkeley Home Repair. First of all, their prices. I originally called them about paint that was flaking off at the bottom of my chimney, in a bedroom. Brian correctly diagnosed the problem as cracks around the roof flashing and at various points on the chimney. The quote they gave to fix the repairs, was, in the words of my real estate agent, a steal, so I hired them to fix it. Brian took care of the problem promptly and I haven't had a problem since. I would hire them again in a hot second for any other contracting work around my home.

Paul was the best!!! He walked me through each step, made sure I knew exactly what he was doing, how much it'd cost and how to prevent issues in the future. Such a nice and easy experience - and reasonable too! Can't recommend these guys enough! Thanks Paul and team!

Justin from Kenneth Asire Plumbing did a great job! He helped me remove a stubborn bathtub faucet cartridge that would not want to come out. Unfortunately there was no access point under the bathtub so he figured out a way to remove it. He also helped me find the replacement cartridge and came back to instal it. Overall I had a great experience. Super friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable. I would recommend Kenneth Asire Plumbing

It's about time we post a review about this company. Ramnar, the owner, installed our radiant heat almost 20 years ago before he even started his company. This is a wonderful cost efficient way to heat our large property (tile, wood and carpet floors) and it never failed us. We never have to think about it, the thermostats are set, there is no dust, no noise, it's just the best! We are thrilled that he now has his own company, he is the best we know, trustworthy and extremely skilled. We just make sure to service the system and water heater once a year this way we also get to see him and his crew and make sure everything keeps working properly. Absolute top notch, efficient, very nice and fair priced, wouldn't think of hiring anyone else!

Gotelli is the best.
We woke up today to no hot water. I called Gotelli and within an hour, Fernando arrived, investigated and resolved the hot water heater issue, plus did a review of the entire plumbing system. He is professional, personable, outlined the options, and got the job done.

Not much to say. They got me an estimate quickly, an appointment quickly, and then fixed the problem and charged me what they estimated. I'd definitely go back. Thanks!

Rocky from R&L plumbing was awesome. we had a toilet clogged from a bar of soap that fell in it and needed someone to help ASAP. Rocky came out at the time promised, was super pleasant, described what needed to be done and did it. All done in about 20 minutes and something we definitely could not have done on our own. Thank you Rocky and R&L plumbing!

I hired them to replace a sewer lateral in Oakland and it failed the first inspection, but passed the re-inspection. How I don't know because the building inspector for the whole rehab project came out four months later and said that the whole sewer lateral needed to be re-done due to negative slope. They had to do additional work which I paid for but they didn't invoice me correctly. After four separate conversations with their book keeper, I never got the corrected invoice for tax purposes. This company lost me time and money, two things I don't have.

Dmitry installed a Water softener and RO. He is great and communicative. Scheduling is easy and appointments are available most of the time. Had a hiccup in water softener. He came back immediately and fixed it.

Very quick turnaround time from inspecting to getting the job completed. The work was professionally completed, they were masked the whole time, and completed within the promised duration.
The plumbers who were working on removing the leaking pipes and putting the drywall back were respectful of the home and did their best to reduce noise and dust - which I appreciate a lot. I was expecting needing to clean up at the end of the day but they did such a fabulous job where they also wiped down where there was dust from their job, clean up the bathroom, and even clean up the carpet area and stairs. Two thumbs up!!
Why the minus two-star:
1) I expected them to come with their own equipment but they had to use my ladder throughout the time of inspection and service. Which is fine with me since I had it but just shouldn't they have it on hand? If I didn't have a ladder, how would they do what is expected?
2) Again the promise was to complete the drywall with the floor baseboard. But they didn't have it and asked if I could provide it. I paid to include that but then the owner of the plumbing company is now asking me for it? Not happy about this.
3) The owner, Adolfo, came to wrap up the remaining items the last day but he's not as thorough as his employees. He literally left a mess where he cut the baseboard, the bathroom where the employees cleaned the previous day was now dirty after he did the remaining touch-ups, and DID NOT appreciate that he wore his shoe into the house without any covers or putting down those hard paper! YUCK!
I was wrong to assume that since the employees did such an amazing job, the owner must have shown them how to do it well. Boy, I was wrong.

We were referred by home warranty company. We scheduled an appointment on a Tuesday. The guy came out to fix the clogged bathtub faucet, but accidentally broke something. Okay fine...the piece had to be ordered. T&C called me a couple of times, but due to my schedule and my husband's schedule we weren't able to schedule right away. I told them I'd call them. I'm having my lunch (home from work) and the plumber shows up...just out the blue. I called and spoke with a very rude female. I told her it wasn't scheduled and that we just had a death in the family. She responded with a rude tone, Oh well I didn't schedule it. I will never use this company again due to their horrible customer service. The plumber was very nice!!!
