Mr. Wu Rooter & Plumbing

We've used Mr. Wu several times over the years, usually to snake the drains. He does it for about $150 depending on the issue. Last visit was $130.
He also came by for a minor problem - didn't need to do anything, gave his recommendation and charged only $20 for the visit!
Reasonable cost for no frills residential plumbing. Communication could be an issue over the phone.
This family (business) are hard workers, gotta respect that.
Not always prompt which is why I rated 4 instead of 5.

I've used Mr Wu 3 times for various drain issues. Living in the Sunset district, drain issues from old pipes are assured. Mr Wu is hands down, the best plumber out there. Very responsive, great value, no frills experience that gets the job down fast every time.

Showed up the same day I called him, stuck with the problem until it was solved, even when there were setbacks, and charged a very reasonable price. What more can you ask of a plumber?

Friend recommended. A lady picks up the phone. We told her the issue (leak and clog), she said she was very busy during the day. Offered to come at night. Got a text message from them stating that they will arrive in 20 mins. Then she calls and cancels on me. Made up some excuse that her machines are broken, find someone else... click! Hung up on me. I was going to ask if they can make it the next morning. But I guess they aren't professional at all.

Have dealt with him several times, great family run company. Way better prices than those big shops. They do a lot of water heaters and can snake house traps no problem.
