Best Heating in San Diego CA
Used Fred for the second time today, and I will never use another AC repair company. Fred arrived on time, quickly figured out I had a capacitor issue. which he replaced right away and was gone in less than 20 minutes. He could have actually charged me double what he did, and I would still think I was getting a good deal.
I had a similar positive experience with Fred two years ago, so I made sure he was in my phone contacts under air conditioning repair.
It's so good to know there are still professionals out there that can quickly diagnosis an issue, and charge you a reasonable amount to fix it. I cannot say enough good things about Fred and the quality of his work.

This is the second time I called these guys, this time Carl said that he'll be here within an hour but he was here in 20 minutes. This guy was polite like I remember and fixed my faucet in less than hour. Then he checked the other faucets and even outside, where he found a leak which he fixed with parts he had in his truck. The price was more than right, I will recommend this guy to anyone, and he did it all with a big smile.

Amir came in to my house at Otay Ranch a few days ago to fix an issue I was having with my AC. He was very informative, friendly and kind. His professionalism and his customer service skills is what out-stands the most. I will definitely call this company again if I ever have any other issues with my AC. Thank you for your help, Amir!!!

Called Monty's Monday at noon. I needed some water line work done under my house. In 20 min. they were at my door! KC and Kevin crawled under my house, cut out the leaking pipe and replaced it! They also fixed up the water lines under my sink! Quick, Professional and Reasonably Priced! Thanx guys, I'll definitely use you again!

Our plumber Christopher did our annual drain cleaning and was in and out in a flash. He did a fantastic job and was very informative on how to keep our drain flowing freely. Thanks Anderson, for another job well done.

I can't say enough good things about Solomon Nwosu. I called 5 plumbers and Black MTN was the only one to respond! Yes, it's a Sunday, my kitchen sinks we're backed up and flooding over into my cupboards and across my wood floors. I bailed water out over and over and it just kept coming back up. Solomon knew exactly what to do and took care of it, explaining everything to me. If you have an emergency need for a plumber like I did today, I highly recommend this company.

Leon was excellent! Responsive, easy to work with and knowledgeable. Would work with him anytime. Multiple plumbers came and did not fix it, but Leon did.

My family has used Ideal Plumbing for years now, both at my father's house and a commercial property that we manage. They have always provided tremendous service. I recently purchased a home and hired Ideal to perform the maintenance on my tankless water heater. Dan the technician was extra helpful, even going out of his way to help with some minor plumbing issue he noticed while checking the water pressure to the house. It is very comforting to know that they have my best interests in mind. I highly recommend Ideal Plumbing!

***THIS REVIEW CONTAINS TWO UPDATES***
Jared was my sales rep and during his visit he gave me a very detailed breakdown of what I needed to efficiently cool my house during San Diego's summer heat. Just don't get fooled into 'limited' special promotions or any other sales gimmicks. It's inevitable w/ any sales pitch so take anything in regard to losing out on a deal with a grain of salt. It was something about selecting 15 families for a discount and only two families remaining for selection. The coupon is advertised on Yelp w/o the family selection 'deal.'
Besides the sales gimmicks the price breakdown was fair and they use highly quality equipment. After Jared left I even got the President of the company, Brock, on the phone to negotiate a little more because I was about to go with another company with a lower price. He was very responsive to what I had to say and gave me a better deal I couldn't refuse.
The good: Day of installation the two technicians SEEMED to know what they were doing. Each of them have been installing HVAC systems for seven years each and both previously worked for ASI. The A/C system in the backyard was professionally installed with electrical wiring and plumbing looking very clean. The furnace and coil in the attic was of the same caliber (so I thought). As promised, Jared even paid a visit toward the end of the end of the installation to make sure everything was going smoothly. The techs walked me through everything they installed. They even went beyond what was required by code and installed two fail safes instead of one at the coil in case of a leak.
The bad: Cleanup could of been a lot better. One of the techs dropped a bag of screws in my living room. I found six scattered underneath the dining table and couch after they left. Doesn't go well with a two year old around wandering around. In the attic I found plywood and vent piping from my old furnace laying around. The last thing I found was a fountain of water coming from the ground in the morning b/c of a broken sprinkler head. The head was thrown back in the hole in the ground it was originally placed in as if I wouldn't find something wrong. I would've been ok if it was disclosed to me rather than hiding it.
UPDATE 2/18/21: Ken and Kai promptly contacted me after hearing about what happened and sent Mr. Handyman services to replace my one broken sprinkler head. Because they did they I believe they deserved a high rating.
UPDATE 2/25/21: I had to drop from 5 stars to 3 stars, which seems reasonable after you read this. About a week after using our furnace my wife smells something in the house and it eventually goes away after about 30 minutes and thinks nothing of it. I wasn't home so I wasn't there to help her locate the source of the smell. She also told me she heard a bang around the same time and went outside to see where the sound came from; nothing obvious found.
The next morning my wife text me the thermostat wasn't working and I told her I'll look into it when I get home. When I arrived I made sure all the wires were snug behind the thermostat and still nothin, none of the breakers in the main electrical service panel were tripped. So, my next course of action was to go into the attic and see if a sensor tripped causing the furnace to not work. What I found was confusing and irritating. I thought the furnace failed after one week of use, which it did but because of human error.
I called Tarpy, sent some photos and they sent Bruce within a couple of hours to determine what happened. Bruce was in the attic for about 5 minutes and informed me what he found. A can of PVC glue inside the furnace. WTF? This glue is HIGHLY flammable and burned parts of the furnace and as you can see in the photos. This could've burned my house down WITH my wife and baby inside. The heat was so strong it melted the plastic vent in front of the unit, cracked the powder coating, and singed the gas line.
Tarpy sent out Jason, their senior tech, to replace the furnace. I requested Jason look over all of the work the previous techs did. Everything else appeared to have been installed correctly. I did notice during this repair visit the ENERGYGUIDE a sticker on my A/C unit outside had been torn off. It's the yellow sticker on major appliances that tells you the estimated yearly energy cost. I do like to compare my energy usage to what it's rated to, so I was a bit disappointed it was taken off without informing me first. In the end, Tarpy extended my warranty for my equipment, which is what I expected at the very least.
I initially said I highly recommend this business BUT now that I updated my review and I had some time to think about what had happened, all I can say is DO YOUR RESEARCH. I don't think this business is bad one but based on my experience I don't see anyway to give - five star rating. I just think the employee made too serious of a mistake that some attention to detail and more company training could've prevented.

I have my own gas log fireplace and one for a rental property but I wanted them inspected because they had not been used for a very long time. Marco at SPG plumbing responded very quickly and was able to come out to both properties for service. Marco definitely goes the extra mile to explain how the fireplace works and what is needed for service. After having him service both fireplaces for a very reasonable price. I also had him check our dryer vents at our rental property. Lucky I did because the vent was very backed up with lint and could've been a serious problem. All of that was avoided because Marco alerted us and did a great job. Would not hesitate to hire him.

My air conditioner line had to be replaced and rerouted. Same Day completed the job quickly while complying with HOA rules and restrictions. They even included the soffit work inside of the home. I got three other quotes and nobody included that part of the work. I am very satisfied. I highly recommend Same Day Heating & Air.

We have been using Pristine Plumbling for years now, from faucet replacements, hot water heaters, and emergency flooding issues, and would give them six stars if I could. Richard and his team are all amazingly knowlegable, reliable, efficient and kind. When they do a job, they do it RIGHT, and they back it up. I recommend them whole-heartedly.

Ignacio was SUPER!!!! After doing an assessment of our noisy pipes he was able to determine the most likely cause. He got the job done and very patient with my 3 year old who is a chatter box.
Thank you!!! I appreciated the reminder text, email notification that our technician was on the way with a pic of who was assigned to do the job. Very pleased.

I cannot say enough good things about CM Jetting Services. Carlos came out to my house on New Years Day and solved a problem that the bigger plumbing companies could not at half the cost. He was extremely responsive and personable, walking us through what to expect. Carlos is a rare gem that deserves all the praise that appears on Yelp.

Excellent service! Chris and his associate arrived on time, very efficient, fixed the plumbing issue, provided me suggestions and recommendations of services that should be taken care of at another time. Both plumbers are professional yet personable. I will be using them for future plumbing issues.

Where do I begin? I was looking at literally a $50.000 remodel in my mom's kitchen due to old pipes I was told needed to be jackhammered out and replaced as well as jackhammering the floor and having to remodel the entire kitchen!! My friend knew someone who works here at Anderson Plumbing, Jade Lemmer who sent out the drain specialist James Blacker, who after a few minutes was able to unclog this old drain!!
It cost me $29.00!!! That's a far cry from what I was looking at before. I am so thankful for Anderson Plumbing Thank You!!
