Best Flame Sensor Repair in San Diego CA

Realized the AC had stopped working on Sunday afternoon.  Called American Ace 1st, they answered immediately & said 1st availability would be Tues. which was not surprising considering that we've been experiencing record high temps, lately.  Called two other companies which also listed open business hours on Sunday.  No answer, no call back from either. Booked the Tues. appointment with American Ace/Fred.  He called on Monday to say he could come over, but we weren't available to be home.  Today (Tues.), he arrived at the very beginning of the two hour window, quickly assessed the fixed the issue (bad dual run capacitor), instucted me on maintenance & money saving tips, all within about 25 minutes!  Courteous, fast, reasonable prices.  Highly recommend!

We hired this company to replace the leaking water pressure regulator in our house. The repairman showed up on time and was courteous and professional. Thats about where the good news ended. After looking at the leaking pressure regulator, he stated that they didn't carry that type regulator but that he could research where to find one. We jumped on google and quickly found the right part at Lowe's. He then told us if we went and bought it, he would install it but it would have to another house call at a separate charge. Meanwhile the clock is ticking and his company is charging $166 for just coming to the house. We sent him on his way (after paying him the $166) for him tell us he couldn't get the part that was sitting on the shelf at Lowe's. Seriously?  We went to Lowe's, bought the part and installed it ourselves in 30 minutes with help from a you tube video.  Recommend you steer clear of Ideal plumbing because it's not.

I had 2 different issues occurring.  One issue, they said all was good.  They completely missed the problem.  The second issue in a completely different area is definitely much worse since they tampered with it.  That I was charged for this is a joke.  I won't be calling these guys back.  I won't be recommending them to any of my friends either but warning them instead.

Update: Here are more details
I called them to repair a leak.  They told me there was no leak.  I was being charged for the hour for this, like $150 dollars an hour, and it only took a few minutes so I had them check a toilet that was running spontaneously about 5% of the time.  As it turns out, there is an active leak still occurring and the toilet is worse.  It now runs 95% of the time and won't flush all the way.  Now, I have remove the toilet tank cover and fiddle with it for a while to get it to flush.  Really?!! Talk about some drama.  

For the second issue, I had them come out for water damage.  They tested an area and said it was good.  Evidently it was not.  If they would have detected the moisture properly, I could have done something about it in time.  Now all the stuff in an entire bedroom is completely ruined and I have to have some serious mold removal process done.  I can't tell you the total loss yet but I had some valuable things there.  In the first hour of cleaning up this mess, I had to throw away at least $5000 worth of stuff. This was while wearing a mask and gloves as there is now a much of mold growing in there.  You can call them for restoration and flood services but I wouldn't count on them being reliable. Not sure how they missed some serious water still lurking, drenching my walls and floor under my carpet but then again they couldn't fix a simple toilet but instead made that worse.

These guys are the best! I was in a heatwave they came right out and fixed the problem! Great service, fair pricing. Very nice. He explained everything.

Eli installed a Pelican Water System for us. He was very informative because he answered the many questions we had for him. He did an excellent job.

We needed a new thermostat and Same Day heating and air-conditioning came and installed a new thermostat.  Their prices were very reasonable.  The installer was professional and courteous as well.

Had home flood from silted up outdoor drain.  I was able to get an appointment within two days, when Ed quickly got the drain rooted out.  Will definitely use them again, if necessary.  Many thanks to Ed and Randy.

Spent 22K on a new unit and nothing but problems since then. I've had to make at least 4 service  calls for the same issue and they cant seem to fix it. I got the VIP service because we have a family member with congestive heart failure called Sunday and they tell me they cant get anyone here until Thursday....its 90+ degrees all week.

No way I would recommend this company. Total flakes.

Just had one of Sherlocks service technicians, Jared come out to give a second opinion on our a/c that another company had said was dead in the water. After doing an inspection the good news is that there in nothing wrong with our heating and air that  a good tune up would not hurt. Just have to say that Sherlock heating and air conditioning and the service tech Jared were very professional, up front and straight forward. Its been along time since this kind of customer service has showed up at my front door. Thanks again Jared !!!
