Ideal Plumbing did an excellent job on my kitchen Plumbing repairs. I had a pretty major issue with my kitchen plumbing, in my 1950s home, and the techs did an outstanding job replacing the pipes. They are professional and really know what they are doing.

A sudden leak on a Friday night.  I was immediately scheduled and Jose came within an hour.  He was very friendly and calm, assessed my problem efficiency and professionally.  I was very gratified by his helpfulness and professionalism.  No doubt I would call Bill Howe and would definitely ask if Jose could come again. He is an excellent diagnostician and very diligent.

To be clear, I didn't want to schedule an appointment but rather was asking the technician if your company could fix a gas valve issue on my fireplace. If so, I would then schedule an appointment.

I recently purchased a 95 year old house with an 80s floor furnace
that is, at best, temperamental - my description is it has three
settings: too hot, too cold and not-at-all.  Joe Ates, the technician,
was very professional and did as thorough a diagnostic as possible - something many companies will no longer perform for a floor furnace.
Although the furnace may be headed for the junkyard, I recommend
Tarpy PH&A and will keep them in mind should other issues arise.
Which they have, and will, in a rickety old house.

We had our ductwork replaced by Same Day. We had a 2-year old HVAC system that was underpowered for the square footage of our house, and had only one return for a 2400sf house.  Sean, the estimator, spent quite some time under the house analyzing the system, and took photos. I priced the job with 4 other companies and Same Day came in within our budget. The installation team of Shelby Bruce and Roberto did a great job with a challenging situation...in some places our crawl space was only 10 inches high. They also had to cut two new returns and ductwork to the upstairs and cut new registers in the ceiling. All of this was done neatly and efficiently. Both were pleasant and polite, and heeded Covid mandates for masking, which we very much appreciated. Highly recommend!

Wow what great experience. Brandon is a true professional. He arrived on time and got to work ASAP. Brandon located the issue in just minutes, was able to get me a far quote on the spot and started work the next day. This was a large job but Brandon and his crew got the job done in a day. PD&P is always my first choice when we need a plumbing or drain work.

Thompson Heating and Air and their Technician Darrell was awesome. After two local companies did a no call no show for two appointments to fix my A/C I called Thompson heating and air and they had a tech come out within two hours of me calling. Darrell was very friendly, professional and quick. Pricing was great and the explanation of the fix was explained in a easy way for me to understand. Highly recommended.  Garbage disposal dropped plus there was minor leaking.  Miles and Cody came out early from the appointment time, finished in less than an hour.  No leaks and a new disposal, clean work and they hauled away the old one.  Pleasant crew, doesn't hurt that Miles went to Rowland High School with my daughters.  Miles grew up in Rowland Heights.  Cody is a Fisherman, so of course we talked fishing.  Great young men.

Side note, actually met Miles' dad.  Very personable fellow, discussed growing up in Boyle Heights.

Anyways, will be asking them back to deal with other plumbing issues and a possible remodel of the downstairs 3/4 bathroom.

Okay the whole one star goes to their ever so pleasant employees. The other goes to their techs pleasantness as well. All the rest the news is bad. They have a process where you 1 call the operator, then they get ahold of dispatcher through email. Then you wait 2 to 3 days for them to get around to getting back ahold of you. This is not for their initial calls this is for recalls because it's not paying them now. 2nd thing is if they tell you that you need anything please do your research because their prices are pretty steep and I got a discount. I didn't do my research when they found my hot water heater needed replaced (my fault not theirs). Alright 3rd thing is their personnel do not know why though showed up half the time. Two times drywallers showed up two times they left me with problems. Then I asked for them to come over for my VIP package furnace call. They did this free of charge so I guess their VIP somewhat makes up for their prices. But I am not done. I couldn't be home for the call so I had my mom there. They took out the filter and left it outside of my furnace. I called to have it reinstalled. I said hey no big deal can you guy get back ahold of me. Then I called and reminded them I was still waiting two more times. I said can you please call me in the evening cuz that is when I am not at work. Nope called and left me a voicemail while I was at work. Which I tried to get back ahold of them to no avail. Now i guess i will call the operator again because I still have two problems they have left me. Their is more but I am tired of typing. Make your own call just saying.

After months of having one over priced, scamming, unreliable plumbers, Jorge was able to easily fix what other plumber who disappeared wasn't able to! As a new resident of San Diego I really didn't know any good reliable plumbers and I thought we couldn't find one. Our hopes were down the drain lol I wish we could of called this company the first time so we didnt have to loose so much time and didn't have to pay so much!! I 100% recommend! They got here in within 1 hour of calling them, they had an Amazing price and they fixed so fast! Thank you I had lost my hope in humanity!

Call Someone Else.

THA came out to check on my older A/C unit. They determined it was low on refrigerant gas and would be fine once it was filled. First problem was the high price for the R-22 gas ($70/lb) but, I wanted an immediate solution so I agreed. The tech stated it could take more than 2 lbs and sure enough as we got to 2lbs and not quite half full I asked if they would offer a discount on the price. He agreed to $65/lb and continued filling. He then ran the A/C for 30 seconds and proclaimed it cooling. After paying (and the tech driving off) I noticed the price was not the agreed discounted price. I called and spoke with the THA office manager who stated she would look into it and call me back. That's the last I heard.  I am not giving 1 star just for the pricing issue but, because they did a poor job in evaluating my system.  I did not need to run the A/C for 2 weeks after their service. Once I did, a valve on the refrigerant line next to the blower (furnace) in my house leaked and condensation/water caused damage in the furnace closet. I called another firm who quickly corrected the problem and did a thorough job evaluating the system for any other potential problems. That is another review coming in Yelp.

Once again Sherlock came through with superb service. Our AC went out on us during this heat wave on Thursday night. Called them Friday afternoon and made an appointment for Saturday morning. Fred came through for us once again and had our AC working!
