Used Fast Plumbing for annual service for our outdoor tankless water heater. Good communication, fast service, fair pricing.

Fast Plumbing was amazing-- from Receptionist to final solution. They sent a great team in one day. The tiny leak under my barn foundation was a complex problem to locate. They used the best equipment but more importantly, they were logical and practical in their approach to diagnostics. They walked us through the process and didn't mind me hovering. Also, important is their consideration of cost. They found the leak in the first hour. And they gave me options on repair. We chose to break concrete ourselves but they gave us a guiding plan on how to repair it.
They came recommended by a local plumber, Union Jack, who doesn't do foundation leaks. I appreciate the referral and will always use Fast Plumbing in the future.

What a great experience! I called them after being quoted $3,500 for a leak repair with my water softener through another company and they were quick to reply and get us in the books! They were able to have someone over to make our repair the next day for  around $500! Our plumber was friendly and very knowledgeable, and gave us lots of helpful information as to what we can do to keep our water softener longer but also what to do to prepare for a new one and what we will need in the future. Our whole experience was great and we will be using them again in the future!

I feel like I'm being a bit generous with 3 stars. Noticed a stream of water coming out of our garage on a Sunday. Later that night, we saw water seeping out from the baseboard in our dining room, right behind the refrigerator and figured it was the pipe that feeds the fridge. Called Fast Plumbing on Monday because they were the first company we reached that could come out the same day. They were upfront with the costs, there was a service charge, then they were going to do a hydrostatic test to see where the leak was. It would be $500 and then estimate further repairs, don't fix drywall they have to remove, standard stuff. I looked at the towels collecting water along our baseboards and agreed. Was befuddled when they returned about 15-20 minutes later and said there was no leak. I looked again at the water coming from the baseboard immediately behind the fridge and questioned again how there wasn't a leak. Was told it was either the roof or the a/c plugged.
Took them at their word. There was no damage to the roof (let alone rain) so we got up in the attic and were checking the hot water heater and the ac pans to see if there was water. No visible leak in the insulation, etc. We couldn't figure out where the water was coming from, since we were told there wasn't a leak. Still a stream of water coming out of my garage and outside the foundation was visibly wet from the bottom of the bricks to the ground.
Flash to Thursday and the leak could no longer be contained. There was now a steady stream of water coming out of our baseboard. Every single towel, bathroom rug and blanket was placed against the baseboards and were soaked through by morning and our dining room was half flooded, even with everything on the baseboards.
The wall was now obviously wet. So, we pulled the baseboard behind the fridge and viola! There was a leaking pipe, exactly where we said we thought it was leaking on Monday. Turned off the water to the house at the street and the same guy came back out. By then, we'd started pulling some of the soaked drywall, too. They fixed the leak and did another hydrostatic test. Said the first one didn't show a leak because the pipe was clogged with calcium or they didn't have the water turned off all the way at the street and it was being replaced at the same rate it was leaking, which would seem like it was holding pressure. What do I know. Maybe it's true, maybe it's an excuse.
Now, we're staring down the face of a homeowners claim with flood cuts on all three walls in our dining room, the wall in the kitchen where the fridge is, and possible rebuild of one of our bottom cabinets. Would it have been necessary if they'd fixed the leak on Monday? Maybe so. It looks like it was a pinhole leak for a while before it got to this point. Would it have been as extensive as it will be now that we blindly let water leak through our house for 4 days based on their testing? No, no it wouldn't. I take some of the blame, I guess, for being trusting their evaluation when it seemed wrong at the time.
At least they didn't figure in another trip charge and gave us a $100 discount off the 2nd repair bill.
I do not think, based on my experience with them, that I would use Fast Plumbing again.

My garbage disposal was broken, they were able to come very quickly to come fix it. Upfront about the cost and even showed me how to fix it myself if it happens again!

We did locate the line that was leaking under the slab we recommended a reroute that normally runs around $3,500  --- we were told by the lady that we need to pay 8K~10K to have it fixed and we were NEVER told the location of the leak.  We were NEVER told this could be fixed for $3500.  Even today, this company is still lying.

I sucked it up when your company scammed me $1315.  Now you are supposed to sucked it up for what you did.

Wow! Read the comments from Fast Plumbing regarding my original review. Wow again - what they  wrote and what the truth was is very far apart. I would NEVER recommend Fast Plumbing because :1) they were slow and 2) they quote payment terms then change payment terms at the last minute and try to hold us hostage for cash payment.

We appreciate a vendor wants to ensure they get paid, but you tell a customer up front what the payment terms will be - you don't change last minute and try to hold customer hostage.

I did not find dealings with Fast Plumbing very good and would NOT recommend them.

Very disappointing experience.  These guys took up several hours of my time yesterday using acoustic equipment to try to identify the source of a pipe leak (they claim to be experts in leak detection, per their website: fastplumbingaustin.com/w…).  After drilling a number of holes in various locations, they confidently spraypainted the spot, noted in the invoice that they correctly pinpointed the leak -- and as a good person, promptly paid their $500 bill.

Things started to smell fishy when they quoted me $2800 to repair the problem (another well-reputed plumbing company quoted us a fraction of that amount for the same repair).  So we called in their cheaper competitors the next morning.  It turns out that Fast Plumbing was completely off. They were not only way off from the leak, but had not even identified the axis where the pipe was. This caused us extra damage to our driveway to unnecessarily dig up the spot they had incorrectly identified.

We called Fast Plumbing's office to ask for them to either refund the $500 I had wasted, or come back out to actually identify the leak (without charging me more money), and they refused in an offensive and aggressive manner.  I would advise anybody who values their money to take their plumbing and leak detection business elsewhere.

They were prompt in their response and able to help me the next day.
Kudos to technicians Steven and Paul for being able to detect the leak quickly, giving me a rundown of estimated costs and explaining what the situation required.
Steven is very knowledgeable and outgoing.

This was our first time using Fast Plumbing Austin.  They definitely responded promptly which we appreciated, and we thought they had fixed the issue (and indeed may have).  Our uncertainty is that the same issue transpired a few days later but in a different area.  In all fairness, the second-time-around issues may have been previously difficult to detect, but it's also possible that they should have been detected with the first service.  Our greatest and main dissatisfaction with Fast Plumbing is that they charged a rather exorbitant fee ~2 hours work (over $600).  We then had to spend another $200 for someone else to come out several days later to fix continued/new issues (but again, whether they should have been detected at first service is uncertain).  

I reached out to the owner by phone and email several times over the past two weeks to ask him to double check the billing cost (perhaps there was just an error when calculated).  I have not yet received a reply.

My husband and I are realistic to the cost of plumbing service, however, this experience seems extraordinarily high.  The service itself was satisfactory at the time.  If this company wasn't so expensive (and if they were responsive to my concern), we probably would have used them again.

Great job with a leaky sink, and helped me out with a sink install while here. Crew was professional and efficient, good guys. Price was fair.

I had a complaint from someone feeding my cat that the inside of my house smelled like gas.  I was out of town at the time, so I looked at Yelp to find a plumber that could handle finding a gas leak.  It turns out that the only problem was an appliance where the gas was left on, but there was no flame.  There were no other leaks anywhere.  In the process of checking for leaks, the plumber with Fast Plumbing turned off the gas.  They said they turned it back on, and left.

After they left, my stove would not fully heat the oven.  The flame for the high setting looked very low.  I called them and they came out, but could not find any issues.

The next day, I had no hot water.  I called them again.  They came out and tried to light the pilot on the water heater.  It would not light.  The plumber then looked at the gas at the source and realized that the first plumber had not turned the gas all the way back on.  That seems like a very fundamental mistake.  Their mistake left me without hot water and the ability to use the stove for 2 days.

Then I received the bill.  They wanted $500 for the privilege of having them come to my house and checking the gas lines.  I thought that was outrageous!  I called and complained and they finally agreed to drop the bill to $450.  Still, I don't think the service I received was worth $450 or $500!

They presented my payment of $500 to my bank, but the bank rejected the request for payment because they thought the transaction was fraudulent.  The next day I received a nasty message from them saying that if I didn't pay up, their legal department would file a lien against my house!  I called them and explained that my bank rejected the transaction, not me.  I asked them to send an invoice or a link where I could submit payment.  That was around 7/17/2020.  I didn't receive what I needed to pay them so I called them the next day.  I still didn't receive what I needed to pay them, so I called again.  This went on day after day after day.  Finally, after all the hassle, I received the link that allowed me to pay them from their accounting department on 7/31/2020.

In my opinion, Fast Plumbing provided very poor service for a very high price.  I will never use them again, and I encourage everyone else to do the same!

I had purchased an outdoor lever faucet and contacted Fast Plumbing to install. When the job was done they had installed it sideways so when it's turned on, it sprays water on cable box. They said it was only way it would install. I asked if they had a lever faucet that would install correctly and they said no. So $200+ and I'm going to have to have this redone at some point. You'd think for that price they would at least offer to come back and fix it with the right part. But no. I would not recommend this company.

I had a clogged bathroom sink, and none of the DIY solutions I tried (plunging, enzyme-based drain opener, etc.) did any good. I called Fast Plumbing, and Eric and his assistant arrived promptly and did a great job fixing the problem.

They were also very good about observing COVID-19 precautions--very conscientious about maintaining distance, wore masks, communicated with me by phone while I waited outside, etc. I highly recommend them and also their office manager, who was very efficient, helpful, and pleasant to work with.

Steve and Eli came to our house in less than 2 hours after we call with a plumbing emergency.  Our water softener had failed and we had no running water in the house.  Showers, water faucets & toilets were all useless so we appreciated their quick response.

The young men wore masks for safety and were very polite.  They replaced our water softener, cleaned out all our pipes for freshness and cleaned all faucet heads.  

My husband is a mechanical engineer and approved their workmanship. We highly recommend them.

I had them come out to change three hose bibs because my outside faucets were leaking. It cost $600 and took one hour. I asked for them to put a splitter on the bibs where there hoses were leaking. They did not. They simply put my old splitters back on. The plumber said the leaks were fixed but although the leaks from the bib was fixed it still leaked from the splitter.  When I called to complain they just said it wasn't their responsibility since it wasn't their part.  Horrible experience.  They also admitted than when people complain of low water pressure instead of just adjusting the regulator they try to sell people new regulators.  Avoid this company!

Had my furnace serviced on Friday,  when they were here they noticed that the vent for my gas water heater had become disconnected in the attic. bHe recommended that I call a plumber, I called Fast Plumbing, as they installed the water heater in June. Very quick response, and assured me that it would be okay. As jobs on Friday had runover. Promised they could send Jose out on Saturday (today). They call to give me a heads-up that Jose was on the way, got here and fixed it no problem. This company is professional and efficient. They are my GOTO plumbers!

True to their name, Fast Plumbing sent two technicians the day after I called (compared to other outfits that were scheduling 2, 3 & 4 weeks out)). They found the problem & fixed it within minutes. Fast, reliable, affordable. Highly recommended.

We've had a ton of issues with our instant hot water system, and had several local companies like Radiant come out to fix it.  Every time we're out a few grand and 12-24 months later, another leak.

Eric and Jose from Fast Plumbing went above and beyond to fix things on a couple of separate visits, were super friendly and trustworthy, charged us reasonably--we'd definitely have them on speed dial for the next time!

This was an emergency project and Fast Plumbing came through marvelously and at fair price!  Eric and Sparky were professional, expeditious, knowledgeable and friendly.  They were able to replace a sewer pipe and main within hours. In addition, Melissa provided any necessary updates on all of the other aspects to this type of repair.  I would recommend Fast Plumbing for any major plumbing project and I would presume small projects/repairs would also come out perfect as well!

I had a number of faucets and two toilets installed by someone else and there were some small issues we noted that needed to be fixed. I called on Saturday and Fast Plumbing had a Sunday morning appointment. Jose and his crew were friendly, professional, and quickly checked and fixed all the issues we noted and gave us a heads-up on some unrelated issues we may have in the future (without trying to sell us anything). The cost was extremely fair especially based on quotes I've had from other plumbers to do the work in the first place. Highly recommended and I'll be calling them for future work.

True to their name Fast Plumbing got the job done in no time...and for a totally reasonable price!  Thank you Eric for doing a great job!! I will be recommending you and Fast Plumbing to my friends and family.

*UPDATE* Based on the response from the business, I have upped my rating to 4 stars from 2. As I said below, I've already had the work done by another company, but I appreciate the response. Since I wasn't actually present for the interaction between my wife and the employees, I am willing to give this business the benefit of the doubt, since there are no similar previous complaints regarding them... *UPDATE*

I've written over 150 Yelp reviews, and only 2 of them have been 1 star. This was almost #3. The only reason I am giving 2 stars was because the service was in fact fast, and the employees were at least polite...

Our water heater died after 12 years of faithful service. I reached out to these guys via Yelp because my regular plumber was out of town and unavailable. These guys showed up as scheduled the following day (10-16-19).

I was away from the house, so my wife had to deal with the plumbing team. They examined the water heater and confirmed that it needed to be replaced. This is where things went off the rails... My wife was told that it would cost 16,500 dollars to replace the water heater!

My wife asked if they meant 1650 dollars and was again told the price to replace the heater would be 16,500 dollars. She said that the guy told her this was because they would have to replace the corrugated pipes leading to the heater because these were not up to code.

I could take my family of four to Disney World for an entire month for 16,500 dollars.  I could buy a decent car for 16,500 dollars. I could partake in an entire weekend of Lamar Odom-esque debauchery at a brothel in Las Vegas for 16,500 dollars. A friend recently spent less than 16,500 dollars having his entire bathroom remodeled, including new tile and a fancy shower with jets in the ceiling and side walls.

Needless to say, we did not go through with the installation. We waited for our regular plumber to get back to town the following day, and got a nice new 50 gallon water heater installed for under 1400 dollars.

I was really surprised this happened, given all the great reviews this business has received. My wife said the kid that gave the quote did not seem like the brightest bulb in the box. She thinks he just may not have known what he was talking about or might have made a math error. I think that is being too charitable... I think it is more likely that the kid assumed my wife would just go along with whatever he said because she probably didn't know any better. Little did he know that my wife actually has an associate's degree in code-welding, and she said his explanation about the pipes and how they had to do all this extra work made no sense at all. I'd like to think all of this was a misunderstanding of some sort, but I don't see how it could be...

Jose was professional and very responsive. He explained our issues and fixed with ease. We were pleased with our service!

The customer service is great.
Sparky and Ben  showed up with mask on even though they were working outdoors. Contacted customer service for the electric water heater..and discovered that the filters were clogged.once the filters were clean every thing worked great..

My landscaper had taken some pressure readings and he had told me that we had low water pressure on our property.  We called Fast Plumbing to come and take some readings and adjust the pressure upwards if necessary.  Initially the person on the phone tried to quote me $350.  When I told them I was going to call some other places, they immediately reduced the price to $125.

Two plumbers arrived pretty quickly.  If nothing else, these guys are fast. I'll give them that.  A minute or two later they informed me that the water pressure was 60, which was normal.  When I walked up to look at his pressure gauge, he quickly disconnected it from the tap before I could get a look at the reading.  I had him reconnect it and magically the pressure was now more like 40.  I had my landscaper measure the pressure at the same spot and my landscaper's reading was even lower.  Of course, the plumber said that the landscaper's tool was broken and the landscaper said the plumber's tool was broken. [Spoiler Alert - I later bought 2 pressure readers on Amazon and both of the brand new gauges matched the landscapers measurements exactly. So this plumber has a faulty gauge]

At this point we told the plumbers that this pressure is too low and we need it to be higher.  He informed us that there were likely other people on the street showering and using the water, and that this was the maximum pressure that we could get from the city.  My landscaper, who has been doing this for years, knew that the plumber was full of BS.  We told him we might as well try to adjust the pressure valve.  It was very clear the plumbers just wanted to just leave with their $150 after about 5 minutes, so they were NOT happy about doing this.

The plumber told me that rotating the valve counter-clockwise is what would increase the pressure.  The landscaper said that the correct direction for increasing pressure is clockwise.  The plumber turned it counter-clockwise and the pressure dropped down to 30.  He again made up some excuse about the city not supplying high pressure to this area.

The entire time, they were rude, angered easily, and were just plain wrong about everything they said.  By the time they left, we had far LESS pressure than we had originally.  So we literally paid money to have two guys from Fast Plumbing tell us falsehoods with bad attitudes.

We ended up hiring another plumber who easily increased the pressure for us.  The pressure from the city was about 80, so there was more than enough pressure available.

If you're looking for plumbers who arrive FAST and are utterly incompetent, then Fast Plumbers is for you!

Eli and Steve replaced my water heater and did a very good job. They were fast and reliable. I would definitely use Fast Plumbing again

We had a burst pipe from an exterior faucet on a Saturday and immediately called Fast Plumbing.  Eric came to our house within just a couple hours and we had water again within 15 minutes! He was kind, professional, took the time to explain what he was going to do and told us our options! I would highly recommend Fast plumbing and specifically Eric to any neighbors in need of plumbing services!

set up appointment through yelp and was specific on that there was a smell coming from our kitchen drain. appointment was quickly set up for next morning and for an assessment it was a $60 fee. they called to push back a few times through out the day and a guy arrived at 4p. he was there for no more than 3 min. He did not have a mask (we are at peak of Omicron) and was super congested. He said he couldn't smell anything an that to clean drain its $300 fee. So I paid $60 for this? This totally could have been communicated over the phone. FAST PLUMBING- if your workers are congested, keep them home or require masks.

I scheduled an appointment for today and got off from work early for that. When they didn't turn up I called them they said someone called to cancel it. Totally unprofessional. Stay away from them!

Update based on the comment: That is a lie. Me or my wife did not call you. No one outside of your office had that information.
If you had to cancel it, you could have just called me to let me know. I wouldn't have had to take off from work.

We needed our water heater replaced and the guys at Fast Plumbing did a great job. Eric + Sparky were prompt, professional, efficient and courteous.  Highly recommend. Thanks guys!

We paid this company $3,100 just for a diagnosis. After talking to friends and neighbors, we've never heard of such a high price for what amounts to an estimate. I'm making sure no one ever pays this company again. Once they walk in the door and start doing tests, it's hundreds of dlollars. Then they tell you they need to do more test, and it's hundreds more.

I still can't believe they charged us $3,100 for an estimate (not one bit of repair actually done, not a single dollar of that estimate goes toward future repair).

We even called to tell them how upset we were and how we couldn't even afford a second quote after what they charged us. The owner said he'd get back to us in a couple of days about a lower quote. He said he'd work with us. It's been a month and not a peep.

Go elsewhere! They will tell you how they're one of only a few companies that do a certain kind of diagnosis. They're full of crap.

Excellent company. Treated me respectfully and fairly. I have an old home, so all the parts in my house are special order. The plumber who serviced my home was quick to source the right materials for the repair and made sure to keep me in the loop regarding extra costs. Work was done quickly. Great communication and price transparency. It actually seems like this is one of the few companies that doesn't treat you like an idiot when you call in. Most of the time when I call maintenance professionals I get exasperated hurried answers... in addition to pricing ambiguity (well there's no way to really tell how much that will cost!). Fast Plumbing was the other way around. Price upfront, clear as day.

Caused us further problems instead of resolving the issue. Then, terrible customer service. They did not deliver on the work they clearly stated on the invoice. Run away, try another plumber.

Charged me double the quoted price for diagnosis of the problem, gave incorrect information, & offered a solution that will not work for my needs. I do not suggest this company.

Called Fast Plumbing Wednesday and was able to get a fair quote and schedule them for Friday.  Sparky and Eric came out and did a great job.  Friendly crew with a good attitude.  They worked hard all morning in the heat.  Looks like they did a great job, too.  I'll be using Fast Plumbing again.

Eric and Eli were put on the case right when I called, and I spoke with Eric before he even came out.  I really like the preparedness here.  Then they were at my door in about the time it would take to drive to my house.  To my great surprise, the work needed was less bad than thought (No part replacement!!) and they fixed the problem at way less cost than quoted!  They COULD have ripped me off or even replaced the part perhaps unnecessarily, but they didn't.  These are my new guys.  They also gave me a solid quote for a wholesale replacement (which is probably needed ultimately) that is about half what i got from another company an hour earlier.  
Don't call the other company - call Fast Plumbing first.

I called and spoke with the owner regarding my outside water system spurting out water since 1/1/2018. Now, I have to admit, I know nothing about plumbing, at all! Please follow along closely, because it gets very interesting...

I stated to him the issue as well as provided pictures, upon his request, and let him know I found the main water valve and shut it off, and our home has been w/o water since New Years, yep, that's right! Perfect way to bring in the new year you're thinking, definitely not. So; after sending pics and him telling me what the issue was, he then quoted me $700 to fix it. I was shocked! Now, like I said, I'm no plumber. But, I'm also not a complete idiot either! I knew my unit was above ground, and that it wouldn't require any digging. I didn't share my frustration just yet, because I wanted to do my research first, and find out if that inner feeling of being taken advantage of was correct. And yes, it was! I called around and spoke to a plumbing company to get a idea of the price for parts, and what I found out was astonishing. They informed me, the parts to fix my issue would cost me roughly about $160. So, now I'm really feeling upset at this point. How in the hell could a so called reputable company want to charge me over $500 in labor!? I begin to make excuses for them. Like, maybe they use a special type of piping, or tool that's needed that's crazy expensive, and only licensed plumbers can use, pathetic I know smh. Well, readers. That wasn't the case, at all. Keep following me here, it gets worse. A gentleman by the name of Mycal (Michael) showed up and he was very professional, and I can tell he was extremely knowledgeable in his field. I begin to explain to Mycal, if there was a breakdown I can get of parts vs labor before doing any work, so I can see exactly what I'll be paying for. To his defense, it wasn't much he could tell me, being that his boss is a complete scam artist (My words, not his). He politely told me he's unaware of pricing, and his job is to only do to the work. I replied, I respect that. And asked if he could get his boss on the line to re-negotiate this absurd quote. After speaking to his boss, in which I was very surprised the so called boss wouldn't want to speak with the customer himself, if that wasn't already a red flag. He begins to tell me, that the same top valve pc I found for $150, they're charging $300, and the labor would be $400. I asked him, how long would he expect to get this job finished. He replied, in about an hour. At that moment, I realized I've been lied to my whole life. Why go to college and work in corporate America?So, for any lawyers that's reading, you're wasting your time and money. Clearly, being a plumber, earning $400/hr is where it's at. So, after hearing this ridiculousness. I politely told him, I'm uninterested and apologized to him, and him only for wasting his time. About 15 mins pass by, and I receive a call from Truit Strickland aka Lee yapping off about how I cost him X amount of money, and wasted their time etc...and I'm cheap, and blah blah blah. I replied, have a good day:) that's right, kill em with kindness people. So, if you think that was the worse of it, you're sadly mistaken. I then get a call back from another plumber I left a vm prior, and sent the same pictures, as well as described the same issue. His name is Leonard on behalf of LG Plumbing btw (Stand Up Guy). And what he said next had me fuming! He goes, sir; you don't need to replace your sprinkler valve right now, it can wait, being it's the winter time. I said, excuse me? And he stated, yeah it's only the sprinkler valve. Turns out, all I needed to do was to turn two levers off on my top valve to my sprinkler unit, and I can still have running water to my home; just not to my sprinkler unit. So, Lee (Owner) knew my family didn't have any running water, and wanted to capitalize on my ignorance of plumbing, and to over charge me, on something that wasn't even crucial to begin with. It's sad tbh, that there's good workers out there working for such scam artists! **I advise anyone who is thinking of hiring this company, to do your research first, as well as ask all necessary questions upfront**. Or save the headache and hire someone with a heart and a pulse! On the other hand, thank you Mycal for being polite and professional, and thank you Leonard for not wanting to take advantage of people, and chose to help me vs making a quick buck.

**Update 2/19/2018**
I have been harassed countless times from the owner to recant my review. He's even went to the extreme to threaten me with a SLAPP lawsuit if I didn't. If he would put as much effort on doing the right thing, and treat customers with the respect they deserve vs using all his time on threats and intimidation, I'm certain he'll prosper. There was nothing I wrote that wasn't true. Be aware Yelpers! God bless!

Fast Plumbing came in to unclog a toilet. They were able to work me in right away.
They called before they came and they came during the window of time provided me.
They did a good job and I work recommend them.

My biggest complaint is they charged me for a permit that they never pulled with the city. Permits are required, Fast Plumbing will tell you that on the phone, and in my case they tacked on an additional $275. An inspector called me out on it when I had some different work done a few months later, I followed up with the permit department and they confirmed it. When I discovered this I contacted Fast Plumbing and they tried to claim that it was never part of the deal and the proof was that the receipt they provided me wasn't itemized with that specifically listed on it. I finally got them to cover and schedule an inspection to get this all straightened out, but it wasn't easy.

I'd never recommend these guys.

Jose came out early and fixed my leaks. He was very intelligent and very professional  and nice. I was very impressed with his work. What I hope the company can correct is a bit more transparency with some of the billing. When I called to discuss this I was giving this statement by  Melissa If I have to tell everyone every little detail... The context is that I had asked about if there was a discount for paying cash vs a credit card. She had said no there was no difference. But when I went to pay with a credit card I was then Informed that there would be a 3% upcharge. Now Really, couldn't she have just told me this in the first place rather than shooting back with that she doesnt have the time to give the details to each customer.

Fast Plumbing is the only one who provide phone call for rough estimate after unexpected and hefty estimate from another big plumbing firm near the end of business day and can provide service next day when my house was renovated and before put in market. Nearly all plumbing firms want to come to estimate and say maybe Service next week. At that time I didn't live in Austin and need rough price to be provided on that day and have service next day. Their receptionist lady is really courteous and professional and detailed in information. Without hesitation I hired them to fix and install new plumbing fixtures in newly installed vanity. Eric and his senior stuff are professional and helpful and very frankly speaking. Indeed they are really fast and reliable. Thank you.

I used Fast Plumbing to find a smell that was coming from my master bath. Myol came out and replaced my wax seal, lead stub and flange.
He was very knowledgeable and very nice. The smell still lingered so I called back and had them replace my toilet. They came quickly. Eric did a great job replacing the toilet and that seemed to have fixed the problem. Lee and his crew are awesome and would trust this company for future jobs! Fast Plumbing was Fast, professional, clean, could not have asked for a better fix for our plumbing needs. Eric and Sparky were the best! We had another company out the day prior who barely looked at our pump before telling us it required some crazy massive expensive fix. Eric and Sparkly were quick to be hands on, walked us through the potential issues and solutions and fixed everything in an hour with such a positive and knowledgeable attitude. We will only be using Fast Plumbing for maintenance and any other needs from now on.

I've used these folks for years and couldn't be more pleased.  Lee runs a tight ship, and all the people I've dealt with have been top notch.  Today Eli and Steven came to fix a jetted tub with a wonky drain.  They had the problem identified in no more than 5 minutes and fixed it quickly.  Very nice lads, and knew their stuff.

Let me start saying that in January I needed assistance with my water heater.  I called in fast plumbing was the two guys that came, do not remember their names, were very nice and professional. Then I called again because I had a leaking under my sink. I called them and I said that I had a leak under my sink in my boyfriend was messing with it and he broke the disposal, They send two guys, that my boyfriend said was two teenagers, and they said my leak was my disposal and they glued it. And they charge me $218 for supposedly fixing a disposal that Cost $50. They left my house around 2/3pm when I got back home from work under my sink was full of water again. I called them to come back and fix the leak. they came back didn't do anything told my daughter that disposal wasn't good. They did not even look for a leak. my water filter under the sink was broken and that was the leak. they came two times charged me $218 and did not find it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.  I called to complain and the supposedly manager called Melissa did not even let me finish my complaint she hanged up on me. Very bad Customer service.

I usually hold my breath when trades enter the house.  I never know how my adult son (autism) will react to them or how they will react to him.

I had a second floor toilet that was leaking through to the first floor ceiling.  I called Fast Plumbing for help.  I was told they had a service person in my area.  Eric arrived in about 30 minutes.  I explained my problem to him and he immediately went to work.  In about an additional 30 minutes he had my leaky toilet problem resolved.  Thanks Eric and Fast Plumbing for a super job that exceeded my expectations.

I needed to have a shower valve replaced in our upstairs bathroom. Steve and Eli came in, gave me a quote and was able to do the work immediately and efficiently. They were very courteous, took all necessary health precautions and overall did a great job. I was missing some hardware that prevented them from doing the whole job, but they were able to come back out and finish once I got the hardware from Lowe's. Overall, a superb job and I'm grateful for their help!

I needed a gas line and water line run to a new gas dryer that was delivered today. I mistakenly thought I had a gas dryer in the first place, so it was a last-minute call I made this morning. Within an hour James, one of the plumbers, showed up, explain to me what I needed to be done and got it done. He also hooked up the dryer and made sure everything worked. I was amazed at how quick and professional this company was and I would highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you very much.

I called to get a sink drain unclogged. I specifically asked if they had a travel rate for coming to my house in Paige and they said no. So I set an appointment. Got a call a while later saying that they charge 125 dollars to come out along with the fee for the actual work. It's a 15 minute drive. I was specifically told that there wasn't a fee. Very disappointed in their customer service. Cancelled the appointment.

We're renting our home. The water heater went out suddenly and Fast Plumbing responded quickly to our landlords calls to get it fixed. Mycol was very professional as he worked to replace the unit and leave things better than he found them. Spoke with the owner and although we still may disagree with the cause he did come through and make it right. I will give them another chance when I next need a plumber because before this incident they were always great.

No showed, lied to our warranty company, caused us a slew of issues that we are still dealing with in trying to get reimbursed for having to do the work ourselves.  HARD PASS!

Be careful with these guys... Fast plumbing showed up to inspect a blockage in our main line. After 2+ hours running a snake and camera they left us with a $550 bill and still clogged line. The team was young and probably inexperienced and although they did work relatively hard, they couldn't get it done. I talked to the manager on the phone for a second but got a lot of short answers. We had a very sour taste in our mouth so we called a different plumber for a second opinion the next day. The other guys got it snaked and unclogged and provided significantly better service at almost half the price. I wouldn't recommend Fast Plumbing unless you know you're getting their top brass. Also, don't feel left like a sucker like we were and don't pay unless they can get it done. I texted the manager to let him know what happened but haven't heard back.

I had a leak under my kitchen sink.  I first called Daniel's Plumbing and Air Conditioning and the guy told me it would be $502 to fix this tiny leak on the valve.  I know the valve is just a $20 part. I told him no and then he said he would do it for $400.  It was just a terrible sleazy company.  I then called Fast Plumbing and Gary came out and fixed the issue and only charged me for a service call, since it was an easy fix.  Gary is the man and great with customer service and very honest.

Fast Plumbing was recommended by Brave Remodeling, who did some excellent work on my house a few years ago....so I  figured they would be good.  Cari was very friendly and helpful on the phone trying to figure out what I needed to do to fix my toilet plumbing problems and gave me estimates over the phone that were accurate. However, I actually paid LESS after the service because I recieved a $25.00 internet discount!

Eric called 20 minuted before he arrived (within the 2 hour arrival timeline given) and showed up on time.  He was peasant, knowledgeable and did the job! Eric also gave me a few recommendations to prevent or avoid any future water emergencies.

I needed to have a section of my sewer pipe replaced.  I contacted several companies and got quotes from 4.  3 companies quoted the same price, so I based my decision on the way the person who came out to the house explained how they would do the work.  I chose Fast Plumbing and all their employees are good.  The woman who answers the phone is excellent, and the two guys who did the repair, Eric and Elijah did a good job.  It was more complex than usual because the pipe sloped downward in the area that had to be replaced, so it was awkward.  They were very friendly and explained what they were doing and answered my questions.  I have no complaints about any aspect of the company that I dealt with, and their employees are above average, are thorough and friendly.

Eric of Fast Plumbing is the man to call. I had some issues with my washing machine hose bibs and drain piping. I had called a different company first. They told me what a huge problem I had. Their bid was way out of line. I didn't accept their bid.

These guys did a great job installing a water softener.  I was going to do it myself and had bought a bunch of shark bite fittings but changed my mind and called Fast Plumbing.  I had planned an external bypass, a spigot on the soft side etc so I had so many shark bite fittings that the refund I got from Home Depot almost paid for what Fast Plumbing charged me to install it.  They did a much neater cleaner job than I ever could have especially with all the unnecessary extras I was planning.  So for just a few dollars more than I had put into parts to do it myself, I got it professionally installed.  If I ever need any plumbing in the future I will call them again.

Fast Plumbing was fast. I called on a Friday morning about 11. They sent an angel, Mycol (Mike) who had my under sink leak repaired and a new non leaking faucet installed within a few hours. On a Friday! I was impressed with Mike's thoroughness. He even cleaned under my sink!! I had many questions and visited with him while he worked. We needed a connection to the main line for an irrigation system.  Fast Plumbing was very responsive and the plumbers were friendly and got right to work.  It turned out the pipe I had exposed for a connection was a dead line, probably from years ago.  They immediately helped locate the current main water line to the house, which I was able to expose within 15 minutes and they installed the valve.  It all took about 2 hours.  we were very appreciative of their patience and professional work.  I give them 4 stars - the plumbers are great, but very high priced for the time and materials involved.

Eric from Fast plumbing came out, accurately diagnosed our problem, and thoroughly fixed it. He was careful to check the quality of his work, make sure there were no more leaks or clogs, and took the time to redo the parts of our garden bed he had to dig out. Not too mention, the prices were very fair for the quality and professionalism of the work. We're hoping we don't have to call on them any time soon, but if we were to need a plumber again, we'd be calling Fast Plumbing.

I've used this company in the past and kept their info on my rolodex. I only keep names of companies I liked for their service, value, etc.  So they were the first people I called to have two silcocks replaced for the washer and dryer.  I also needed a circuit breaker replaced which the company told me they could do, but the tech did not want to.  Ultimately, the work was done to my satisfaction and the issue with the price was made right.  I would not necessarily recommend that particular technician, but Lee tries to make things good with his customers and he did for me as well.

Our water heater broke on Wednesday night, requested a quote, and they were here Thursday afternoon. I am absolutely thrilled with the service we received.  They were timely, informative, and affordable.

Fast Plumbing saved the day! We woke up with no hot water and couldn't get the pilot light lit on our water heater. Mycol showed up within an hour of my first call and spend time cleaning out the filter, testing the system and getting the heater fixed. He even showed me how the heater and sensor works! Eric, the plumber who came to my house, was a really nice guy and very competent.  
They have sonar, so if you can't find your leak, they have that service (vs. a camera, which, in our experience, is really time consuming).  After an initial misunderstanding with the owner, we were taken care of by Fast Plumbing.  That says alot about a plumbing service!  There are so many con's in this business that when you find one that will stand true to their word and treat the happiness of the customer as the primary goal, then you should trust them.

I submitted a request for a bid on a water heater repair over the weekend and Lee called me personally to discuss the issue. Eric came out first thing Monday and gave me a reasonable quote (I had already gotten one unreasonable one) and called in a crew to replace the water heater immediately. They will be my go to plumber from now on.

I have been working with Lee and his team for over 10 years. Fast, affordable, and honest. Over the years they have saved me more times than I can count. Most recently they replaced a cracked clean out and were able to inspect the drain lines on a home I had under contract. Despite the torrential rains they crew got to the home with a days notice, made the repairs, and gave us a full report on the home in the final moments of the option period. I can not thank them enough for their prompt action. These guys are the only plumber you need!

Called Fast Plumbing when I was in a bind and needed a water heater repaired, same day. They were able to work me in the schedule, same day, Eric diagnosed my problem quickly and give me 3 options at different price points relating to my problem.

My landlord sent out fast plumbing to fix a major leak in the foundation of my house. I met with Mycole and Elliott. They've both worked on the issue all day long without a break they were at my house for 7 hours and resolve the issue. They are very kind and professional and I appreciate their hard work. I would definitely recommend them if you're in need of a plumber.

I called Fast Plumbing yesterday about 5:00pm and was able to get someone out today. The office called and let me know when the plumber was on the way. Lee and Sparky came out and were great. They were able to pinpoint my leak very quickly. The main water pipe to my house was buried in the slope of the yard and the leak was directly under a Yaupon tree. They had to dig down probably 4 feet in front of and behind the tree to get to it. They were very careful not to harm the roots of the tree and repair the leak. They kept me updated through the repair, set my expectations and were very friendly. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

I can't give a review of service because my call was never returned. Based on other reviews, I tried a second time thinking maybe I my call was overlooked, still no much as a courtesy call. I used another plumber and received excellent service. My 5 star review will go to him.

Well,, They came very fast like their company name but they charge unreasonably. They replaced a water tap at back of the house and I paid almost $250 including labour, services fee and $15 material. Work had been done less than 30 minutes.
If the Fast Plumbing talking about turn off the condo's main water supply valve I can turn it off by myself and we the owners often do it without any problem. I have the tool to turn off the main valve in the street and you can get it at $10 at Home Depot.
Don't you think we pay $250 just to replace one water tap?
I have a condo to rent and when i need to replace kitchen sink facet i payed $130 to replace all that.

Our sewer lines started to back up into our house, in the bathtubs and through the toilets. It turned out to be roots in the main sewer line.
 We called Fast Plumbing along with a few others and Fast Plumbing was by far the best priced. After we decided to use them, we called and they were here in a very short  amount of time, confirming the price that was quoted and began the work instantly. Steve and Sparky were very professional, friendly and quick. It is amazing how quickly they got our project done, I can see why they call themselves, Fast Plumbing. So, where to start? I called several plumbers to get estimates for work that needed to be done on my 1940's house with what I think could be the original plumbing. Fast came out on March 1 and attempted to clear a blocked line. They told us the sewer line had collapsed, charged us $500 and were going to work on a quote to provide us to replace it. I had to go through the not-so-fun process of working to get lines marked and the sewer tap located at the street. This showed that there was an issue on the city's side and I didn't have a collapsed sewer line (March 2). My water still wasn't draining so we called Fast to come back out - I thought since we had already paid them $500 and they didn't clear the line, this trip would be on them to actually get the line cleared. They said they would be there on a Tuesday - no one came (March 6). I called the owner the next day and they sent the same gent out to our home again. He cleared the blockage that had been there the entire time - at our tub and CHARGED US AGAIN. Also promised to get us a quote for replacing the old plumbing since we no longer needed our sewer line replaced. Two quotes were promised - neither were ever sent and here it is March 15.

We have since had the house plumbing replaced and are working with a different provider who was referred to me through my employer. I am super happy with their response and assistance. They are a commercial vendor that is doing us a favor but man, they have been great.

I needed a few repairs made.  My faucet in the kitchen had a slow drip and my toilet needed to be replaced.   I must say Travis did a fabulous job!!  He was very polite and answered all of my questions.  He was fast and got the job done right!  I'd recommend their work to anyone!   Keep it up guys!

Very pleased, requested a quote this morning on a broken pipe from a freeze - got a call within minutes, and had someone at my house a couple hours later.  The person who came (Mycol) was outstanding, and fixed things up better than new.  I was terrified that it'd be impossible to fix 100% but I was clearly wrong, highly recommended.

Eric was great.  He got it done in a fair amount of time.  Was a pro,  left the job clean, and made it look good.  Got good flow now people.

Sent them a message at 5:00 on Saturday evening . They came out and had a toilet pulled and resealed by 7:00. I'm impressed.

Called and talked to person who answered phone,  gave direction , contact #. Said he would come out and fixed clogged drain.  He gave me prices and options over phone. Never showed up or called to say he was not comming. Called the next day, someone else answered  not even apologetics after I explained what happened.  Cost me business,  money.

I think I have finally found a plumbing company!  Although I have used a variety of companies in this area, I believe Fast Plumbing provided better service for less money.

Sewage line blocked; unable to use toliets.  Insurance company sent out Fast Plumbing-Lee Strictland owner.  When I opened the door he said I want my $50 copay before I look at the job.    It was 4:30 PM.  He said I am too tired to do this job today;  I will be back in the morning between 10 AM & 12 noon-I will call you first.  Next day no Lee & no phone call by 12 noon.  I called him;  he said he decided not to do the job;  I should let the insurance company know (American Water Resources).  I said You will tear up the $50 check--he did not respond.  So now 24 hours later, the insurance company is starting over to get a plumber to fix my blocked sewage line.  So this 70 year old home bound woman wearing my Med Alert bracelet is going out to the back yard to pee & poop with my dogs!  I hope my neighbors do not complain.

Had a call from a tenant last Friday at 11:30 am...all toilets/tubs were backed up in the house and could not be used.  I called fast plumbing...they committed to be there by 2pm, showed up, identified the issue as a main log clog, pulled a toilet and ran an auger through the main line and cleared the clog by 3:30pm.  Although I did not shop around int his case, the cost ($315) was about what I expected for an emergency call of this nature.  They also gave me $25 off for making my request online.  I will call them again should I have an emergency plumbing need in the future.

Nothing breaks during the week.  Ever.  Friday night we notice no hot water and water in the liner pan underneath the water heater.  Found an old business card from the previous owner of the house and gave Lee a call.  Lee was out on a Saturday afternoon within a couple of hours of my call.  Verdict: dead water heater.  Within short order Lee and another of his employees had us swapped out and ready to go.  Could not rate higher in my experience.  Hope I don't need anything else but if I do I know who I will call.

We had a water leak in the system, and had no idea where it was.  Lee came out and narrowed the possibilities, then brought the crew out to fix it a few days later as scheduled.  They showed up on time, and fixed the problem in just a few hours. He kept me informed during the process so I could see what was being done, which I appreciate. I love supporting local business.  Highly recommend!

Fast Plumbing, (or Lee) is always there when he says he will be there. He does a great job and I have used them twice now to install sinks in bathrooms, shower fixtures, and a big garage sink. Lee even came back one time when I was having a problem with something else just to see if it was the plumbing and didn't even charge me when it wasn't his issue. Called their office to let them know, and after denying any responsibility I was told, and I quote, let me take care of that for you right now and then he hung up on me. Do yourself a favor and find someone else

Came out quickly and did great work. The rate was reasonable and they were very friendly. Would call again in a plumbing situation.

There was water in the street in front of our house and when we opened the meter box to check it was flooded! We had a water main that needed repair and Lee was prompt and professional in his response! He talked with my husband and gave him an estimate over the phone, then he texted us when he was on his way. He had the tools and parts on hand to fix the problem and was done in no time!

I called fast plumbing because I had problems with my sewer line.  Since I live in an old house I've had problems in the past.  Lee diagnosed the problem and was able to make the repairs in a professional and timely manner.  I would highly recommend him.  I will for sure call him for all my plumbing needs.

We called Fast Plumbing after another plumber was unable to find a leak in our yard.  The other company already had charged an arm and a leg and didn't even fix the problem.  Because of that, I was pretty hard on Lee wanting to make sure I wasn't going to get ripped off again.  Lee was super helpful in explaining everything ahead of time, quoting prices and explaining what might not be covered in his original quote if things didn't happen as he expected.  They came out super fast the first day to assess the problem, then came back the next day and got to work without needing us to be home!  I had a work meeting so Lee sent pictures once he found the problem.  He even helped clean up the mess the prior plumber left.  In the end, the job ended up being very close to the original quote and I wasn't surprised by the additional charge because Lee explained everything as he went so I knew what to expect.  I will be calling Fast Plumbing out for any of our future plumbing needs (hopefully nothing for a long while!) and highly recommend them.

I had a water leak problem in my irrigation valve. Lee has done a great job in fixing it. The job was perfect and he came out to fix it on a sunday. He also fixed issue of low pressure in faucets in my house and did not charge a dime. I am very happy with his service and will recommend him for plumbing solutions.

We used them for a fryer gas hook up and we had to pay another guy the same amount to fix what they did not do correctly.  Also, they repaired a leak under a sink that has never stopped leaking.  He also would not take responsibility for the work (or lack thereof).  I would not recommend nor use this company again.

I called three different plumbers before I found these guys.  They were able to come out the same day, within an hour and a half of me calling. They actually called to see if they could come a little earlier than planned. They were professional, courteous, reasonably priced, and super fast!  They even gave us some helpful hints for avoiding the problem in future & for extending the life of our PVC kitchen pipes. Great job!
