A Dos Amigos Plumbing has solved all my plumbing problems! Water is money! When you have a leak you don't want to wait 3 days for the fix!! I got same day service!

I have used them twice, the first time in September 2014 when they were sent for a repair as part of my homeowner's policy. They fixed the leaky guest toilet, fixed it properly, and I have had no problems since.

Yesterday I called my homeowner's policy for the leaky toilet in the master bathroom. They assigned my claim to another company and said I had to take who ever was in the queue next and could not request A Dos Amigos Plumbing.

I waited 24 hours and 5 minutes and never heard anything from the other company they assigned me to. When I contacted that company I was treated like my leak was not a priority and they even had trouble finding my work order.

I called the homeowner's policy group back and told them to assign me to A Dos Plumbing because I had NO problems with their service. Within 15 minutes A Dos Plumbing had called me back and said the plumber would be out this afternoon by 3pm.

He called within the hour and because he was in my area, came by within the same hour and fixed my toilet!! These guys are awesome!! The office staff was happy, informative and polite!!

I suggest the next time you have a plumbing issue you call A Dos Plumbing for assistance. In the spring I am having a new toilet installed upstairs and I told them I would be calling on them to get the job done!!!

Where to begin? Shoddy work? Lies? Blaming others? If you don't care to read full review, here's a brief synopsis. What should've been two days without hot water turned into five days due to lies and shoddy work.

My home warranty assigned Dos Amigos to me. My water heater went out on Tuesday and Dos Amigos called me on Wednesday and came out that day to inspect my existing heater. The co-owner, Ron, determined I needed a new water heater but also some code upgrades, which I was aware of. We made a plan for him to come out the next day, Thursday, to install the new water heater.

Thursday, he shows up on time, removes the old and installs the new. He has me test for hot water and I'm getting none. He claims to then check the wiring connections and when it still doesn't work, we check my breaker box. The water heater breaker is tripped and Ron says the problem is my breaker is a 30amp and the water heater requires a 50amp.

Why would he install a 50amp, I don't know. He says everything about my breaker box is out of code (I had it updated 6 months ago with city permits and everything) and he then calls warranty company saying I need an electrician and leaves, and I still do not have hot water at this point. Also during this first trip he's using profanity, lecturing me about global warming being a hoax and talking religion.

An electrician comes out Saturday and discovers the problem in less than 5 minutes. The issue is not the breaker box or that the water heater requires 50amps, it's the fact that one of the hot water power supply wires was cut (pic included). He also said the water heater runs on 30amps.

Electrician also said my breaker box was done well and totally up to code. Electrician said Ron had to have known he cut wire and was probably hoping electrician would splice and repair, which would not be up to code.

Another call to my warranty company and they approve sending Dos Amigos back out. I call the emergency line for Dos Amigos on Saturday morning but don't hear from them until Monday.

Ron comes back out Tuesday with a new water heater and agrees to install another heater but tries to say electrician is wrong and asks why he didn't just fix the wire. After some back and forth, Ron agrees to install new water heater.

The new water heater, same model as damaged, is hooked up and it works, even though Ron originally said it needed more amps. Ron quickly packs and up leaves but not before ridiculing a political yard sign stored in my garage.

In the end, what should've been two days without hot water turned in to five days due to his dishonesty and shoddy workmanship.

Due to his poor work, lies, and inability to keep political and religious thoughts to himself, I would not recommend them to anyone, nor will I use them again even if covered under warranty.

lol...biggest bunch-a-clowns you've ever dealt with. Not sure which guy and/or gal is the biggest knucklehead and gets to wear the crown. Really it's like a 3 foot Fiat circus car pulls up and 8 clowns jump out and run up to your home and ring the doorbell and tap their big shoes till you answer and laugh at you and sing loudly we're not plumbers... we're not plumbers ... na na na na nana ....WE ARE.., Clowns! Ha ha jokes on you....jokes on you! Seriously though... these folks are....well...heck....they're.....CLOWNS!! soon to be hobos...if you hear they're coming run and hide!!!!

Our landlord was referred to this company via their home warranty policy.  They took three days to call to schedule the repair. We had two toilets that were leaking. The plumber who came said that the flappers needed replacement in both. After he left, I realized that one toilet was now leaking constantly, in worse shape than it was before the repair. Unfortunately, they have not answered any of my calls, nor called to bill our landlord so that she can ask them to come repair the problem they caused.

Update: the plumber returned to finish the job. When asked why it took so long to respond, he said that the office staff person was out on maternity leave, and the emergency number was the only one being answered regularly. The repair seems to be done properly this time.

This company has a contract with Sears Warranty. They were scheduled to come and service my water heater under the warranty. The gentlmen answered the phone when I called and he said I need to take a look at the heater first - understandable.... Then I called again during the time he was scheduled to come and service the water heater and he said I will call you back. No call and of course no show.... My 3 years old has been without hot water in the winter for 3 days now.... No follow up, nothing. I don't like Anonimous reviews so if anyone is questioning that feel free to text me at 210-749-4656 and I can give you the feedback in person. Needles to say - bad customer service.

Terrible customer service! I got stuck with them because my home warranty gave me their name. Took forever to get them scheduled in the first place because they never called me back. When the plumber finally did come out, he spent maybe 3-5 minutes and charged $115. The very next day the toilet wasn't working again, and I called them. I was told at this time (without coming back to check) that it was the toilets that needed to be replaced. I replaced both of them only to have the same problem again. At this point, I called to complain and have it rectified only to be yelled at. Anyway, I used a different company that sent two guys out who spent over twenty minutes and only charged $108. No more problems. Call Tuttle Plumbing out of Universal City and save yourself a lot of money and problems.

Not a very reliable plumber and he does not return our phone calls to come and finish the job. Promised to come replace the cartridge on our faucet but never calls us back after several messages. I ended up having to call and pay another plumber.
