The dishwasher was installed wrong by Kirkwood Plumbing when our house was built in 2008. We moved in 2 1/2 years ago and finally discovered that the dishwasher was hooked up to the cold water, not the hot water as instructed by owners manual.
When I called and explained the situation, I was initially told they would 'make it right', but the next day they said it was no longer under warranty and we would have to pay for them to fix it.
This was not a warranty issue! It was an incorrect install by Kirkwood Plumbing.
I was hoping they would stand by their word and do the right thing.
Bad business practice!

Performance Plumbing just put in a new bathroom for us in our finished basement. They did everything: plumbing, electric, drywall, and flooring. They even put in a closet! The guys were professional and efficient, and the price was right.  I love my new bathroom!

Had a small leak around the base of the toilet.  Called Frank at FS Plumbing and he was able to make it out within a few days and remedy the situation with a new wax ring and bolts.  In and out quickly.  Very nice guy and I'd be comfortable recommending Frank and FS Plumbing, and will likely call him again!

Our faucet was leaking but the Anton plumber, who was there for another issue, told me they do not do faucet repairs.  Was told our hot water valve needed replacing but it was not leaking (upsell).  Signed an agreement with the understanding the plumber would replace a 450.00 Kohler faucet with a Delta faucet with a value of 300.00 or more. He left and returned with a Moen faucet which he said was comparable and heavy duty. After he left (and cashed my check) I found my faucet on the Moen website for 99.00. When I complained to the Anton Plumbing manager Ceci she sent me a pie chart of their business model to help me understand why I was charged 1,000.00 for strapping an exhaust fan pipe that had slipped and replacing a hot water valve and installing a bottom of the line faucet.  Now you know. If you like being ripped off this company is for you!

Has repeatedly said he was going to do a job for me, only to not do it. Has ghosted me on multiple occasions, and at one point told me he was on site working on the job and had to leave to get something, only to find out he had not touched the job at all. I would not recommend under any circumstances.

I needed my water pressure regulator replace due to low water pressure at my home.  I called to make an appointment and one of the plumbers came the very next day and made the necessary repairs.  Very responsive.

No one ever wants to have to hire a plumber but I will say I spent a lot of time researching on Yelp as well as Angie's List.  I called Maplewood Plumbing & Sewer and I am VERY happy with their customer service as well as the plumber that came out.  I never felt rushed or pressured - I was not 'upsold' on anything.  He was actually available to come out earlier than planned which was nice and he left no messes for us to clean up.  He showed me what issues we were having and showed me the old pieces and explained why they failed. He answered all of my questions I had and was never annoyed by my questioning the parts or processes.  He got them all repaired and was not slow by any means.  I've owned houses in three states as well as an apartment building and I've never had a better plumber before than Robert at Maplewood Plumbing & Sewer.  We will DEFINITELY be using them in the near future as we need a new hot water tank.  Sure we could go with whatever 'installer' Lowe's or Home Depot provides but we've had really bad experiences with their contractors before and are soured on them.  This is a real plumbing company that knows code and does it correctly! Our old 60's house had some issues with a copper line being reduced between the floor and the bottom of the cupboard from 1/2 to 1/4 and it was at an angle so it wasn't even a straight new drop in replacement stem - it was zero challenge to him and it would've taken me all day. I've had to clean up after contractors before and Robert wore work boot covers and didn't leave doors open and like I said, cleaned everything even the rust under the faucet before he installed the new one! I have no doubt we will get the same quality service when we use them again.  Unlike many competitors they actually emailed us an ITEMIZED list of everything they did and what each cost was.  I also asked for an estimate for the new hot water tank and they had it emailed to me within the hour after he left for the day and this was a Friday afternoon.  So skip the rest of the plumbers and hire these guys.  You will be glad you did! He even found problems we were about to have that I was unaware of and showed me a cracked metal nut - the only thing preventing a major leak was years of gunk and pipe build-up.  Saved me a future flood on my kitchen floor!  Thank you Robert!!!  We will see you soon!  He was able to swipe our card on his ipad right away and we even emailed photos of some of our issues to the office before the appointment - so he never had to leave to 'go get parts' which we've experienced many times with folks like Sears who seem to always come unprepared.

I wish I had NEVER purchased their plan for electrical, plumbing, and HVAC! This is the 3rd time that I have had to call them for minor issues that I got quotes of close to $1,000 and one was over $34,000 for a $50 fix!!
I had them come out to my home about a week ago due to a high water bill and the water company suggested that I may have a water leak somewhere in my home. So I called Tiger to come and investigate. What they found was 2 water shut off valves in my newly remodeled bathroom that were leaking. I was told it was due to corrosion from the hot water tank and it was popping the shut off valves. The quote they gave me was $740. I should not have been shocked about the price from this company since they overly inflate all estimates. They told me they would have to weld the new shut off valves to keep it from happening again. I was not going to pay such an extreme amount for such a small issue. I called a local plumber and he had it fixed and welded for under $75. That included 2 new shut off valves and a warranty.
I wish I could get out of my contract with these thieves! Seriously, $740 for 2 very simple shut off valves!
