Best Bathtub in Sacramento CA

Firstly, they answered the phone. I hate having to call and leave messages and wait for the call back. They were willing to come out quickly. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The pricing was reasonable. Im very satisfied with their service.

First, the good.  Darrell is here right now and he is professional and courteous. He identified the leak problem in one of our bathrooms within 5 minutes.

Now, the bad.  I don't know how these plumbing companies get so many good reviews on Yelp, except that people are willing to pay $$$ more than they should.  Or, maybe they are 1st time home owners and don't know any better. I first contacted them through Yelp and they got back to me immediately to set up an appointment.

Day of appointment - No show.  I message them and they immediately start calling and messaging me.  I couldn't do the appointment at the times they wanted later that day and let them know it. We set up another appointment.

Second appointment - I get a call an hour before the end of the window when were supposed to show.  Their pipe camera was broken and they asked to reschedule.  I explained that this was a huge pain and ate up another day of waiting around.  No apology, no offer in price reduction, nothing.

Third day.(same window 9 am- 11 am)  I get a call at 10:24 letting me know that the camera is not ready and they won't be here til the afternoon.  Door bell rings at 2:25 and Darrell is here. He identifies the first problem.  Needs two new faucets, supply lines and angle stops.  $815 is the estimate WITHOUT parts, which I would need to buy myself at Lowes. Then, he takes a look at our second bathroom.  The quote I get to have a camera down the pipe is $325.  That is just the cost of running the camera. I didn't even ask for an estimate on the rest of the work that would be needed for that bathroom.

The big picture- If you have only one bathroom and/or an emergency, any plumbing company is going to rake you for $$$.  We have 3 bathrooms, so we are not in that situation.  This company is no different than any of the other big plumbers in the area (meaning that they charge too much) except that they respond to your Yelp message immediately.  Now, I understand that everybody needs to make a living and I don't fault them for that.  However, that doesn't mean that I have to overpay either.  And to be fair, Darrell did contact the boss after I complained and he agreed to lower the price to $593 from $815.  No thanks.

My next step is to call my buddy who knows a guy.  He does quality work at a fair price, but on his own time-line.

If I could hire Darrell as a side job then I would, but I am not going to pay that much for the installation of two new faucets.  My advice to Darrell is to leave VanGo and start doing jobs for a fair price.  I know I would hire him!

I have had to use plumbers in Stockton on several occasions and I have been disappointed.  I had to call a plumber again today and asked around and several friends recommended JC Sewer & Drain Plumbing. They came within 3 hours of my call and Jeff was wonderful.  He is friendly, knowledgeable,  excellent at his job and he saved us money.  I highly recommend them. This is an awesome,  honest , friendly company!

Charles came out to give us an estimate for three different issues. His prices were reasonable and he fully explained what needed to be done. We hired him for the job and everything turned out great!  Charles was a true professional. I'd definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone looking for a good trustworthy professional plumber.

We were having a disaster at our house from the rain. Clogged drains and all. Kaleen was very professional answered all our questions and took care of the drains. Very pleased! Will definitely use him again!

Called regarding a plumbing leak in the garage. Was supposed to come Friday. No call, no show. Arrived five days later unannounced and did not accurately diagnose the problem.

Ted has been to my house on three occasions for three separate projects in the last month - from small to large. Kitchen faucet replacement, installation of supply and drain lines for a washing machine (from upstairs to the basement), and repair of sudden leak from a bathtub. I've been really impressed and pleased with the experience and result. He's kind, extremely skilled, very responsive and reasonably priced. It's been a pleasure working with him and I would recommend his company to anyone for a variety of plumbing needs!

I was referred to A1 Greer Family Plumbing, so I thought I'd give them a try to repair a kitchen faucet that wasn't working properly. This should have been a simple repair, right? Well, after removing the flow restrictors, it seemed to be working better, so the plumber left. Little did I know that there was a constant drip coming from the turn off valves under the sink. The plumber hadn't checked to make sure that it wasn't leaking after he turned the water back on. I attempted to call them twice that Friday evening, but didn't get a call back until the following Sunday! They offered to send someone out on Monday. Well, I had to call another plumber who came out at 1am on Saturday morning to repair what had become a major leak by then. No, I no longer need you Greer Family Plumbing, not anymore. Oh, and they said they were going to see about adjusting my bill. Well, that never happened either.

Joe is honest and straightforward. He came to help with a garbage disposal problem, cleared the drain and didn't charge me. If I have any plumbing issues in the future, I will call him.

Our toilet had a small leak under the tank. I called Doug and he came out the next morning. He was super friendly & professional. Leak fixed in less than 30 minutes! Plus he was nice to my dogs, which is always a plus!

I called in the morning for a quote for adding a natural gas line from the meter to our backyard. They came within a few hours, took pictures, asked questions and got a quote to me within three days. Once I accepted their quote, they came and completed the work within the week. They even gave us some extra piping to connect to our firepit that he had lying around. Quick, efficient, helpful and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend!

The plumber was courteous and on time but the quote for a simple faucet replacement was ludicrous ($600-$800 for a job that takes less than 30 minutes). I bought my own faucet for $179 and did it myself in under an hour, despite being physically limited while recovering from surgery. Minus the cost of the faucet, $500 for a very simple, straightforward installation is completely unreasonable. I will not call on Boyd in the future.

I was pleased with the service I received with my dishwasher installation. They even solved an issue with my washer at no charge. I would use again.

Received great service, fixing our leaking toilet.  Owner was very responsive -- I called on a Friday afternoon and he was there by early evening.

For Cal came out and replaced some fencing around an out door hot water heater. Their price came in around what others did they were able to get it done the following week in a few hours and did a great job.

Jason is very efficient, punctual, helpful and reliable. He showed up on time everyday. I called few contractors for quotes from Yelp but I must say that Jason is the best. He is good in what he does and I would highly recommend him to family, friends and everyone.
