We had a bad plug on our kitchen sink and Braden did a great job.  Excellent customer service. Easy to work with what a nice guy and a great plumber. Thanks for everything.

I had the same experience as some of the other folks on here (Paige, Denise M, Duke).  

Eric is a super nice guy and he has good reviews overall, but I think his bread and butter is quick easy fixes (swap out a fixture, unclog a toilet, tighten up a leaky pipe), so if that's what you need he's your guy.  

Anything that requires a lot of work or expertise he's going to jack up the price (to make it worth his while) or tell you he can't do it.

When you question his prices he goes on and on about how he has to pay taxes, the time it takes to drive to the store, all of the parts he has to buy, gas for his truck, soldering, the time to cut things, etc, etc.  

At the end of the day, my biggest gripe was that he came to my house, looked at something for 5 minutes, said he couldn't do it, told me I'd need to call someone else, and he charged me $150 for the inspection.

By far the BEST service & customer care I've experienced in a long time. We had a minor emergency last Saturday. When we called & shared our emergency with no question the owners came out within 90 mins. Mind you, it's a SATURDAY! We have a house full. We have 3 adults 2 small children & using the restroom and along with running water is a must. Jeff not only educated us on our house piping but HOW to prevent backups in the future After taking care of the issue Jeff explained things in terms I understood (which is not always easy) and reassured us if we had any questions or any further problems to call him and he would take care of us.
Jeff & his wife are wonderful! Polite, puntual, friendly and full of smiles.

I called Joe at Best Plumbing and told him that I needed an extra outside faucet. He was there the next day and in about an hour I had the new faucet. The wife is happy which makes me happy.  Thanks Joe for a great job and great service.

We have tried so many times to get competent plumbers in Reno that did not cost a fortune.   Mostly what we got were expensive, flaky guys who actually took shortcuts and caused even greater expense down the road.
Then we found Dave Thiel -  not sure how we got so lucky, but this guy is a MASTER plumber and his prices are great!    He believes in being fair and reasonable with his customers and has been in business for decades.
He solved problems NO OTHER PLUMBERS IN TOWN could solve for us.

In a word - AWESOME!!!!!!

He is really busy, it is true, but if you are lucky enough to get on his schedule you will be a very happy camper.   For sure.

We also bought a Multipure Water Filter from him.   Works great!

Our water heater started leaking on Friday night. I've contacted Omega Plumbing and they've responded right away and eventually came out next day - on a Saturday! Very impressed with their professionalism and level of service. Thank you for accommodating our need in such a timely manner!

I heard about Bighorn Plumbing from a customers referral.  I called and set up an appointment with a very personable lady.  A confirmation text let me know he was on his way.  Super friendly, very professional and knowledgeable.  His quote was high, but he worked with me on a more agreeable price.  We set up a good date and time for work to be done.  Jesse was on time and worked efficiently.  He got done in time and it was simply PERFECT!  I give his workmanship two thumbs up.  Definately recommend this guy and his company.

Horrible service altogether- incompetent and unprofessional. He does not disclose fees and sends unqualified apprentice workers to do his job. We called him for a well problem and he never said he wasn't qualified to work on wells. He did not fix the issue, left and never came back. We called them back a couple times but he did not return our calls, leaving four people without water for several days! Weeks later, we got a bill with emergency dispatch fees and parts that weren't even broken per what the qualified and competent well contractor we had to hire said. We tried to dispute the charges but he was rude and declined to work with us. So we are going to file a complaint with the BBB and the contractors board.
We should never have hired him again to begin with, because service he did for us last year turned out to be subpar: kitchen sink leaks, shower head leaks, kitchen stove vent not properly installed and he ruined a wet bar sink he installed for us. Makes me feel stupid, but my husband called him because he was familiar with our system -- we were obviously wrong...

The one good thing I can say is that the company is responsive.  We were having problems with our hot water.  I was getting luke warm water throughout the house and the burner was not kicking on.  I called several plumbers and he was the only one that could fit me in that day.  

45 minutes later I have the owner at my door.  That is decent service.  When he arrived.  I explained that we were having a bathroom remodeled and in the middle of the remodel we lost our hot hot water.  The guy came in our house looked at the remodel work.  Went back out to the garage and said you need a new hot water heater.  He did not even look at the water heater.  The house is 19 years old so we were more than lucky the original lasted that long.

He wrote the contract up.  $2400 for the installation of a new heater.  I am told now this is average.  The guy tells me that a guy will be out shortly to change the heater.  He starts to drain my old one.  As it starts to drain the guy realizes that water is coming back into the tank from the system and gets weird.  He figures out at this point that the rough shower valve that was installed in our bathroom remodel doesn't have a mixer in it so the hot and cold are mixing unregulated in the rough valve.  He figures it out, but does not tell me the problem.  He Quickly stops draining the tank.  Says something about the other guy will have to shut the water at the street leaves some materials for the other guy and bails.  He knows at this point that I do not need a heater.  He does not tell me that and leaves.

I don't figure out the problem until the other guy installs the new heater and we still have the problem.  We install the mixer and the problem goes away.  If my other tank was not 19 years old.  I would sue the pants of this guy.  He is a crook.

Ryan came out to pump our septic tank today.  He explained the process well and recommended preventive options.  He called on his way and arrived on time.

A yearly inspection was performed. 45 nothing replaced or fixed they only cleaned the filter and charged $300.

$219 to screw an anti-siphon valve on a hose bib (faucet).  $89 for the visit, 4x markup on the parts.  I called the company and the owner didn't deny the huge mark up.  His response was We have insurance and gas to pay for.  Customers always think that they pay too much.  I always think they pay too little.  Plumberman does not understand the concept of a fair price for services rendered.  They are only interested in how much they can fleece from the public.  I will take my future business elsewhere.
