Best Garbage Disposal Installation in Portland OR

We had a leaking hot water line in our crawl space, discovered by an A/C maintenance technician.  My husband didn't think it would require a lot of work, but didn't have the time to figure out what pieces he would need to fix it.  All the major plumbing places were booked out 5-12 days, and we were headed in vacation the next business day.

Curtis Leonard of Yore Place fit us in the same day, even offering to deliver the necessary part and explain how to do it ourselves to save money!  Such a nice guy.  I just had him do it for us (it was indeed a quick fix), and he said my husband could call him later with any questions.  The other available plumber wanted to charge an extra $100 crawl space fee, even though the crawl space is almost big enough to stand up (we live on a hill).  Curtis charged us less than half of that quote.  He will be my first call the next time we have any plumbing needs, emergency or otherwise!

A 16 year old boy took a massive dump in my toilet and clogged the main line, or so we thought. After many various attempts to unclog It, I reached out on yelp and got a response to my issue from sky within a few hours. The response from Travis made me laugh and the positive reviews convinced me to call and get an appt setup. The communication was stellar and everyone I spoke to through the process was helpful, pleasant and efficient. On the day of my appt I was out running a quick errand when my service technician, John basquez arrived. When I got home i approached the van and we started chatting about my issue. Immediately I liked this guy. He was calm, knowledgeable and transparent in what he was doing and what he knew and didn't know. Over the next few hours John replaced my very cheap plastic pump that was not clogged by a teenage poop but in fact had died. He walked me through the process. Showed me my old pump. Gave me pointers on how to maintain and figure out my plumbing and pump. Showed me My new installed pump. How to problem solve if something like that ever happened again etc..... In addition we chatted about beer, fruit trees, our kids, where we like to camp, dogs that eat fruit, more beer and more kid stories. It's not fun to spend money on injector pumps but it is fun to talk to John if you do have to spend money on it. I absolutely cannot recommend sky or John more. Amazing!!!! They really saved me ~ I had my toilet and my bathtub back up. They had someone out ASAP, Brad was so helpful with explaining everything and getting the job done. AND Brad noticed something off in my main line and told me if I didn't get it repaired then I would continue to have issues. They had their excavation manager, Brian, come out; again in a very timely manner and use his camera to determine there was actually a hole in my main line. Brian set me up with a plan to get it fixed along with the email of the video so I could see for myself the hole and where it was located. Excellent customer service All around from Heather and the other receptionist (sorry I can't remember her name) always prompt, professional and got me directed or had people call me back in a timely manner. Only thing I would say is their services are expensive but I feel like with plumbing you can't skimp you get what you pay for in a lot of cases and plumbing is not something you want to skip corners around. I feel like if I had just anyone come out I don't think they would have caught the hole in the pipe with a camera. Again AMAZING - PROFESSIONAL - PROMPT - GREAT COMMUNICATION - ON TIME - THORO. Called this morning to have new piping put in under bathroom sink.  Terry was able to work me in and he did a great job!  I highly recommend him.

This company replaced our water main from gavanized to PEX a while back. Outstanding bid and critical preparations including permitting working with the owner, Ti Sutherland. Since our electrical panel was grounded by the galvanized pipe, they referred us to Metro's Best Electrical who installed an Electrical Grounding System in advance of the job. They included a pressure reducing valve as it was needed. We also had great customer support after the job from Courtney! Highly recommended!

We had a massive leak with our main water line, water pooling in our front yard! John and Nick were able to come out same day to inspect. Super knowledgeable and explained their findings and options in an easy to understand manner.

Day of new water line install, they were super professional. We will be using Fusion again if we have other future needs.

Total fly by night operation. They fixed a clog that became clogged again within days. Won't return my calls or texts. Overcharged me for a toilet which I only found out when the SECOND plumber came out to fix my clog. I would not recommend their services. Communication is poor and be prepared to OVERPAY. Terrible experience.

My husband and I own a plumbing company that services all of Clark County and a large portion of Portland and surrounding counties. The point of this review is to thank Dale with Simpson Plumbing for helping my company out in a time of need. We service quite a few management companies and had received an emergency call on a Satuday morning. I could not get to this call in a timely manner, and was in a difficult situation. I knew of Simpson Plumbing, ( I had friended them on FB), and in a pinch, I called and asked Dale to help me out. He was able to take care of the issue, allowing me to provide the service that my client expected. Thank you.

William, the technician they sent to my house to connect all our under sink plumbing after we removed our sink to re-do our counters was the rudest, grouchiest man! I had called before scheduling the appointment to get an estimate (which turned out to be way more than everywhere else). Unknown to me at the time, they charge based on the job rather than by the hour like most plumbers. Other plumbers were about $85/hr and the job ended up taking 1.5hrs to complete, but I was charged $337 (nearly 4 hours worth of time). When I tested the dishwasher and water filter, neither had water going to them. When I pointed it out, he rudely told me that he had connected the pipes he was supposed to, and if the water was turned off it was not his job to turn it back on. Umm... I think as a plumber that is precisely your job! I would assume when hiring someone to connect your pipes, that testing them to make sure they work is part of the process... One of the pipes was leaking (which it hadn't been before) yet instead of admitting faulty reconnection as I'm inclined to believe, he insisted I needed a new pipe and charged another $99 on top of my already exorbitant rate. He was EXTREMELY RUDE the entire time. The friendliest thing he did was after I gave im my credit card to pay, he told me I would have been better off buying a new garbage disposal, new pipes and doing it all myself for how much I paid him...yeahhh... thanks...

Super happy with Pfeifer Plumbing! Danaya responded quickly to our request, communicated well in planning her visit, and was super friendly and helpful. We had a small job that a lot of other plumbers wouldn't take. Danaya gave us a rough estimate and was available sooner than we could have hoped. Can't recommend Danaya enough!

Finally, a plumbing company that does a good job at a decent price. Summerson is the 3rd plumber I've hired this year. I think I've got a keeper.

I called Trident out and a tech named kyris showed up, he was professional, courteous, and explained everything thoroughly.  he gave me a bid  showing me exactly what needed to be done and I was a little skeptical at first but I agreed to the price as it was much lower than the other to companies in Salem that gave me bids. Kyris finished up the work and I was blown at how good he did! I will now use Trident Plumbing from now on.. 5 stars for the above and beyond work he did at his price. thank you

Very professional and timely.  I needed to have a washer and sink plumbed in and they did it correctly and pointed out some possible flaws in how I was going to hook it up.  Saved me money from having to go back and fix things in the future.  I would use them again.

Plumbing problems suck. Christensen makes the problem go away. No short cuts that will cause problems later. They do the job right with high quality parts that you can count on.

A root broke the water line to the house. Turned off the water at the street. We had no water in the house.
A neighbor referred us to Hillsboro Plumbing.
Suzy in the office was great to work with.
They scheduled the utility location and came out right after locations were done.
Travis did the work and was very knowledgeable and friendly.
My son and I helped him dig and cut roots.  
3 ft down we found the problem, a cracked connector under a root.
He repaired it and was finished in less than 2 hours.
After 2 hrs to let the PVC cement cure I turned the water back on and it is working fine.

I would definitely go back to Hillsboro pluming again.

Fast response-called on Wednesday afternoon and they sent a tech out the next morning and fixed my leak coming from upstairs bathroom within an hour, very efficient! Will be using again.

Roto rooter came to my rescue on a Sunday afternoon after another rescue rooter service stood me up after 5 hours of waiting.  I got a response in a few minutes and a technician was on the way to my house within an hour of my service call!  I had called a couple of other plumbing services and they pretty much told me to call them back on Monday to get on their schedule.  This was a slightly urgent matter and I really didn't want to wait until my basement was flooded.

Jacob cleared my basement drain rather quickly and he was very polite and knowledgeable.  He was able to assess the problem and it was taken care of the first time.  

Roto rooter was a little pricey but for the speed of service especially on a weekend it was worth it to me.

Kitchen drain backed up from too much going down the garbage disposal.  Cameron was responsive, friendly, and efficient.  He did a great job!
