Best Flame Sensor Repair in Portland OR
I just bought a home and I knew that Sky had installed a new furnace in the home within the last 6 months. I called them to ask some questions about the existing system and inquire about getting some new additional work done. The receptionist took down all of my information and told me she'd pass it on to someone else who would return my call. They never returned my call so I had to find another vendor to do the new work.

We had a leak coming from an upstairs bathroom so we needed someone to come asap. Luckily Cornel's helped find us a same day opening so they could get the water turned off and the problem diagnosed. Each step of the way they kept me informed and provided a few different options for how we could proceed. The options were also sent to me in writing so I could agree to the specifics, see the prices, and ultimately sign for the option I wanted to pursue. Loved the transparency and the workmanship.

The problem was a simple fix, just a burnt out electrical outlet. I was told over the phone it would be 140 and outlet, which seemed reasonable. The electrician wanted to do a whole diagnostic test and couldn't find anything-which I didn't exactly authorize. That whole thing took about 50 minutes because she had to go through a crawl space and everything.
The problem ended up being a simple, fried outlet, which I heard is pretty simple to replace. She replaced it in less than 10 min but charged for the entire hour ($275). The diagnostic test showed nothing else was wrong. Well, it was more like she spent her time looking for some wires that were no where to be found. So I am not sure that was a diagnostic test. I was kinda upset because if she just looked at the burnt outlet in the first place then it would have been $140. We knew what the problem was, we did not need the test. The outlet works fine now, but I wish she just looked at that first before looking for problems that didn't exist. Look for the easiest solution first... Occums razor.
I wouldn't go with this company again, but they were the only ones available at the time in need.

YOU MUST READ THIS! We had a very bad experience with the whole installation process, which took almost 3 months! In the end we were told the last repair would be made, balancing would be done of the system, and we would get something in the mail regarding complimentary furnace maintence. After our final meeting with Andrew he never contacted us anf did not follow through. I am not suprised, as this was the case on several occasions
Some of the issues we ran into seemed to be related to bad workmanship, disorganization, poor communication, and straight dishonesty. After several complaints, phone calls and emails, we were told that the employees had undergone training and that the company had restructured its processes in an effort to address several of the issues we encountered. Nothing changed!
Thanks for the $1000 dollar discount, but no thanks for the damaged wood floors, crooked vent holes, fast food bags left behind, half finished jobs, no call backs, damaged siding and a metal plate to cover the damage, cold and hot spots in the house. Are we ever going to get our rebate information?
I posted this because I have made way too many phone calls, emails, and face to face meetings with Andrew and other staff! Other people need to know about this so that maybe Andrew will follow through with his word and stop lying and hustling people. I wish so badly that we would have chosen a different company!!!! If anything ever goes wrong with our furnace/water heater or the work they did I'm worried they won't show up or they will do half ass job.
So get your furnace, water heater, or other service from these guys and know that the employees will be late, uninformed about their purpose in your home, won't use drop cloths, will use the wrong tool for a job, will leave garbage behind, won't finish a job, and will blame you for their job not passing inspection. Oh and ask about their 100% satisfaction guarantee policy because it is non-existent. If you try to ask them to fix the problem or compensate you for damage, they will threaten to get lawyers involved...
They got two stars because they finished the job enough so that it passed inspection and we had heat over the winter.

$956, I'm not making this up!
Yesterday Apollo gave me a quote of $956 to replace a leaky elbow on 1/2 inch cpvc waterline. It was in my crawl space but easily accessible with stand-up headroom at the leak. Why so much I asked, it's $5 worth of parts and no doubt will take you less than an hour. He replied that it was their flat rate for replacing the elbow. I paid the $75 required minimum estimate fee and said no thanks.
I bought 2ft of 1/2 cpvc, an elbow, and 2 couplings for $5 at H. Depot. Fixed it myself in an hour after watching a couple how to videos.
If you want to get ripped off call Apollo.

Timely, friendly, efficient service on our mini split system, which they installed seven years ago. I signed up for the maintenance contract, which saves money and automatically schedules service in spring and fall.

Alex recently came to my house , he called and arrived ahead of schedule. He inspected my concerns, explained very thoroughly what the causes might be. He also offered suggestions that I could easily do on my own. I would highly recommend Alex and Cornel's Plumbing. I will absolutely be a repeat customer!

Our plumber responded quickly to a problem at our rental. He fixed the problem and was extremely communicative with us. He made an analysis of potential future problems but did not try to push for added unnecessary work. I would recommend D&F without hesitation. Great job.
