Best A/C Installation in Portland OR
Jacob was fantastic to work with. Total professional, appreciated the mask, worked hard and efficiently and we are so happy with the result and the hours of our lives that we get back from watering during the summer!!

Very knowledgeable and professional, had our drain cleared within 30 minutes on a Sunday. They are reasonable and do not charge extra on weekends!

I have an 11 unit apartment building located in SW Portland (near the downtown area). It was built around 1910. I was having problems with debris in the old water pipes collecting and clogging faucets and shower heads resulting is very low water pressure. So I contacted Repipe Specialists. I met with Jon from Repipe and gave him a tour of the building. He wrote up an estimate and we scheduled the work to begin in December. Since this was a large job it was scheduled to complete in two weeks. The workers arrived every day around 8:00 AM as scheduled. They managed to run all the pex throughout the building before connecting the new pex to the water line. This meant the tenants only had to deal with water shut off for two days (water was always turned on at the end of the day). The plumbers were very good at showing me some of the difficult areas where they had to use some clever work arounds. The work completed two days early and the tenants are very happy with the results as am I.

These guys were referred to us by a neighbor. We requested a pre-estimate visit and were assigned a date 2 weeks later. On the date of the assignment, got a call that they could not make it. Very unreliable, I would not recommend using them.

We have a clogged toilet. I sent Tri-County plumbing a message on Sunday, asking for a quote and whether or not they were available to come out on Monday or Tuesday of this week it's now Wednesday and I haven't heard anything back from them. Not a very reliable company if you ask me!
They deserve no stars, but it won't seem to let me post without giving them at least one.

Our kitchen sink faucet began leaking from multiple places which set off the water alarm in the sink base cabinet. Sean helped give us information on possible causes. He communicated fast and well with an estimate provided from pictures. The pricing was competitive and reasonable. The job is complete and our new faucet look and works great! Thanks!

The CSR took my info & called back to let me know the window (afternoon between 2 & 4) of time a tech would be avail. So I ran some errands and ended up getting called FAR earlier for availability. I immediately started home & rep'd a call from the tech that he was waiting for me. It was only a few more minutes before I was home but giving a LITTLE bigger window of immediate availability would be helpful to all parties. Once there, the technician worked quickly to figure out the issue, gave me a price & did the job. He was efficient in his work but WOW did the paperwork take FOREVER. I signed my name 5 or 6 times to I don't know what, (bc it was all on a tablet that I couldn't read bc of glare) just trying to expedite the process....20 minutes of paperwork is EXTREME (It took less time to sign mortgage documents on my first few homes!) & completely unnecessary. Put everything on one form & have the customer sign ONCE, please and thank you.

Terry has a hard time with the truth.
Attached is the actual message sent to Terry Massey Plumbing requesting a quote for three faucets via Yelp.
Just like his business' claim that he follows all guidelines during COVID-19, like him NOT wearing a mask both times he showed up to come into my home.
If Terry cannot read the Yelp request, is not following guidelines during a pandemic, and cannot repair a basic tub or sink leak he should be the last # you call for help.
Honesty is the best policy, unless you are Terry Massey Plumbing

Boy what can I say. 3, 4, 5 men came to redo my main waterline into my home. Everyone was professional and courteous, used their COVID protection masks during the whole job. Explained EVERYTHING they were doing. Gave me options of different ways to put the lines and what would be best. Worked hard together while having a fun time doing it. I heard some laughter here and there. You know people are working hard and doing a good job when you hear laughter. I have always encouraged my employees to sing, joke and have fun. They work better. They worked in 5 different areas within the water line. All but 1 was visible. They cleaned up everything very well. Couldn't tell they were here. Heck they even edged my driveway and swept up the porch and leaves to keep busy while the others were working. While the invoice was being finalized I was talking to the owner about an area. I said I was gonna take the pipe out (since it was now a vacated one) he offered to do it and finish the area. Took longer than a few minutes as nothing on this house goes as planned. Hope to not need to call them again any time soon. But DEFINITELY WILL when the time comes. I had 4 estimates done, reviewed them all. And the way that the process went from the first moment to the last was certainly impressive and a pleasure. We have gotten our money's worth.

Walked into garage last night to find water leak from our water heater, and was panicking knowing how hard it is to find fast help these days especially due to COVID. John was able to squeeze us in the morning and now my wife and I can stop worrying about it!! John was prompt, professional, courteous, and so good at what he does! The apprentice with him has also told me how good John is. Once again, my wife and I were to lucky to have his help with our water heater issue and can't wait to take a hot shower in this chilly weather :) Thank you!!

I'd give 100 stars if I could!!! If you need a skilled, affordable, honest, super nice plumber, call Dave first!!! He will go way above and beyond to fix your problem, AND! he's super nice to boot!
Dave just spent a huge amount of time crawling around in my gross terrible tiny crawlspace to cut and repair my sewer line. The job ended up not at all being what he thought, took way longer, and was more complicated, but he stayed anyways well after quitting time to get it done for me. Such a nice guy, did very quality work, and very very reasonable prices. Very respectful of my time and my home, and called and texted a lot with updates. Dave is a gem!! I'll always call Dave from now on.

Just wanted to write a review to highlight the great work Simpson did for me. My home in Camas unfortunately had a leak between the street main and house main. Losing lots of water each month and bill skyrocketed. Called Simpson. First, the woman taking the initial request was great. Forgot her name, but friendly and very professional. Trent came out and did the assessment and estimate. He confirmed the problem as I did. Scheduled horizontal drilling under front yard and into basement main. Today, Kenny and coworker Jeff along with the drilling contractor Steve came out promptly as scheduled. They efficiently drilled the hole, repiped the line and resolved the issue. The job was on a fixed cost basis. Price was fair as uncertainties were unknown. Would recommend Simpson 110%. Special thanks to Kenny and Steve for great work!

Finding a plumber that crawls under apartment buildings to fix a main sewer line is a challenge these days! Many plumbers I contacted for this repair said they strickly work on new construction projects. Except Burfitt! They do it all, and were very responsive and reliable, and did a great job. Alan was great to work with.

Kevin did a great job! He responded within minutes of my request for a quote--he even suggested i call 3 other plumbers for quotes, which I did and he was right: his price was the same or less then all three I called. He was able to come out, confirm the quote and have a new hot water heater installed THAT DAY. I'm sure not all days are that open and we got lucky, but he was great and we are thankful! He answered all our questions thoroughly and brought our new hotwater heater up to code--where the old one wasn't as well as changed out the stand in sits on for a new metal one. I would definitely use him again!

I had Danaya complete re-pipe my house with PEX in September or October of 2015. She did an excellent professional job. I wanted to help out to learn a few things. Thankfully, she set me on a few tasks that I could do that allowed me to learn a bit about my house. I had old galvanized steel pipes that were 40 some years old and some very clogged cast iron drains (which she removed at no extra charge). I had received estimates from other plumbers. There were cheaper and there were more expensive plumbers. I chose Danaya because she had years of experience, good price point, and used to be involved in the Oregon Trades Women. I recently had a question about one of the drains she installed and she got back to me within a day. Everything she did is working smoothly. Thank you Danaya.

This was the second time i used Cornel's Plumbing. My new washer couldn't be hooked up to the water supply because my house has horrible PVC plumbing. The PVC pipe had become brittle and fused to the hot water valve. It was late in the afternoon when I called Cornel's, and they sent a plumber out the morning of the very next work day. Yay!!! Although he warned me the pipe could very likely break when he tried to remove it, it didn't, thank goodness. I was only charged his $150 trip fee. Double yay!!! Cornel's Plumbing will continue to be my preferred company in the future. I highly recommend them.

I called Trident out and a tech named kyris showed up, he was professional, courteous, and explained everything thoroughly. he gave me a bid showing me exactly what needed to be done and I was a little skeptical at first but I agreed to the price as it was much lower than the other to companies in Salem that gave me bids. Kyris finished up the work and I was blown at how good he did! I will now use Trident Plumbing from now on.. 5 stars for the above and beyond work he did at his price. thank you

Oh man, these guys were great! We just moved into an older home a few days ago and the water shutoff for the washing machine was seized and broke off. I called at 830 am to see if they could make it over sometime in the next few days to fix it, and an hour later Travis was at my door. He cut out the previous owner's DIY valves and installed a new shutoff box for me, helped me move the old washer out and the new one in, and was on his way by 11! I honestly don't know if there would be cheaper options, but I fully expected to pay more than what I did for the job, so I think they are very well priced. Hillsboro Plumbing definitely has my future business!

It works..
But... There's always a but. (TL:DR $850 for a job that should have been $225-375!)
I had Malmedal come out to my home to install a whole house water filtration system that I had already purchased from Home Depot. I knew after reading instructions that the piping was beyond my expertise to complete without leaking everywhere or breaking an expensive filter.
Malmedal was the plumber who put my new home's pipes in during construction approx 3 mos ago and I was referred by the builder. They arrived on time scheduled, +1 star.
They got promptly to work reading the materials they needed even though the list of materials it was provided during the appointment, just was never forwarded to the person doing the work. I asked how much it would be, he mentioned, oh it might be around $450. (which is high ballpark for what I saw online) He had to go to the hardware store (probably charged time for this) to get simple tools that were probably also charged to me and that I had literally on a shelf sitting there already, (stud finder).
The piping got put in. I asked why It couldn't be done like example photos I saw, and he explained that those are copper this is Pex and requires to be cut at X to be under warranty I'm not sure what that was but fine, ok. Anyway, it looks wierd, and half the wall has pipes running across it.
Everything works, it looks fine, works fine, tastes great.
Now the Bill comes. $850!!?! Are you Serious? IDK what in their right mind they have for billing $100 more I got from a different plumber that did my last house which even provided the filter. You would think I would have saved $500 by providing the actual unit.
Everywhere I read, the labor and parts would be $375 high end for 2.5hr and parts which is why I said Ok when originally said $450. I did not get an itemized receipt that broke down what was what, so Idk what I was actually billed anyway.
Not happy, beyond the fact that the thing works.
