Best Flame Sensor Repair in Philadelphia PA
Nic came out promptly to replace my shower diverters and some eroded pipes in the back. He was quick, professional and explained everything he did. I'll be using him for all my future plumbing/HVAC needs, and the best part is, he is a local small business owner.

Excellent service. Despite having a full schedule on a Saturday, John responded to my call to fix my steam boiler on one of the coldest days of the year. He was extremely knowledgeable, prompt and courteous and I will definitely be reaching out to him for my future needs. 5 stars easy!

Joe came to our home and installed a humidifier and also connected a gas line. He was a very friendly person and a pleasure to have worked with...but...We spoke to him about coming back when the stove top delivered to help install it when we talked about the cost he charged...and it was stated it was included. We have tried contacting him multiple times and haven't gotten a response. Now our calls are sent to voicemail. Finally, when it was connected without him, we were told there is a leak in what had been installed. We wanted to give him the opportunity to fix it but no one answers or calls back.
Update: no response still. We had two plumbers come out and couldn't believe this is how it was left. There was also no shut off valve installed on the same floor which was out of code. Surprised a licensed plumber would leave anyone in such circumstances, especially with a small child in the home.

It's hard to find a good plumber. I have been using enviro safe for over ten years. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They even repair and paint the drywall when it has to be opened up.
They know my system and always manage to solve the problems that come with a large older house.
I know the technicians by name and trust them implicitly.

We had Buzz Duzz replace our poorly designed low functioning central air with a dual split a/c system last summer. The crew was respectful, knowledgeable and showed up as promised...which seems to be a difficult thing to do for most Philly companies. Anyway, after that we had a bit of trouble and Buzz was super responsive every time. Today we woke up to no heat. Made a call to Buzz and we had a tech at the houe and the problem resolved within 2 hours! We love Buzz Duzz!!

I have a center city Philadelphia business with 2 private bathrooms and 1 toilet was giving us trouble on-and-off for a week. We plunged and tried an auger ourselves but it finally stopped working altogether. We contacted Goodman late Thursday night around 8PM and they gave us a clear and reasonable quote upfront and offered a 10-2 appointment window the next day. The next day they gave us a half hour warning when they were on their way and showed up by 10:30AM. Two men arrived, they were really professional, explained everything and were super fast at completely clearing the toilet clog. They gave me the option to pay over the phone after the appointment as I wasn't at the business myself (my staff was there) and came in exactly as quoted. Great service!!! I will use them for any plumbing problems I ever have for my business!

These guys (and the lovely woman who answers the phone) have helped me in several, separate plumbing crises over the past year of owning my new house. Each time I've called, they've been prompt and thorough. The guys always take the time to explain to me what was happening, how they were going to fix it, and what it would cost. I feel extremely confident in the work they have done. Having plumbing scares as a new homeowner can be exhausting, but I feel grateful to have Stimmler and Sons as my go-to plumbers.

Nichols Plumbing is rude and untrustworthy. They were assigned as the independent contractor by our home warranty company to come take care of our septic tank. They never called us, we left messages, for over a week. It got to the point of we needed someone to come out immediately because our septic tank was backing up into our showers & sinks & we had toilets overflowing. I contacted my home warranty company at that point and they told me Nichols couldn't come out to assist us that we needed to find someone on our own. We found Belton Septic Tank Service (910) 425-8876 through neighborhood recommendations and they helped us right away with great service and at a very reasonable cost.

Don't waste your time. Called for an appointment and after confirming they simply didn't show up to inspect my HVAC. When I texted t wo hours after the appt time to see if they were late the guy said he had a long week and couldn't make it.

They say on their website that they're open 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM, 7 days a week. However, if you go to schedule a service on the very same site, you can only schedule it between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday. This is false advertising at best and flat-out lying at worst.

I'm new in the area and needed a reliable plumber to replace my kitchen faucet. Kevin Kaspar of Filan and Conner Plumbing provided more than just reliability. Kevin was punctual, knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant, and he made recommendations for issues that I wasn't even aware of. If I have other plumbing issues, I will be sure to contact Kevin at Filan and Conner.

Don't use. I called and they stated that someone will come over and provide free quote. I specifically asked whether i will have to pay for any work at that time and was told no. The plumber came over to look at issue determined that small object was limiting water flow in shower and proceeded to do the work without my approval. Granted this issue took all but 6 minutes of his time and a grand $150. The issue here is that they are slick and dishonest --not a good trait in a vendor. Will never use again. Slick!

Horizon services just completed my yearly tune up and they did a good job as expected. Their technician Pat D. Was very informative of what he completed and informed me of repairs that were needed.

Be careful when setting up an appointment with is company was told over the phone that they could not give pricing over the phone to install a smart thermostat. They would not even give me a starting or a max price. All they wanted was there dispatch fee for coming out. Was told over the phone that would be $79 but then was told $95 when they were here which I refused to pay bc all the info they gave me they could have easily given me over the phone. The service tech that came out even said I don't know why they waste everyone's time by doing things this way. They wanted to charge me almost $2,000 to install 2 smart thermostats. Which would have only cost $400 to purchase the thermostats themself. I understand there being an installation fee but come on over $1,600 is a little crazy to me. This is why they would not give me any info over the phone. I understand the tech being frustrated as I can see this happening all the time to him but he then send me and invoice stating I was very rude which I was not at all I was just calling his company out for overcharging people. After reading the reviews I can tell that I am not the only one that this has happened to. I just want with Horizon because the Previous homeowners had them install the HVAC systems. Which now looking at past receipts they to were over charged. Over $20,000 for 2 Systems. I learned my lesson today to go by what people tell you about a company. Very disappointed.

They come for the big money only. They will install new units and then refuse service saying you are too far. It also took them 48 hours to call and say they won't come to my home AFTER PROMISING to be here today. Find a reputable company who cares for their customers and their name.

I selected AlliedExperts based on the high number of their installation in my area of the Central NJ. I did read quite high number of negative reviews on them, their sales rep Nick G. did tell me bunch of lies I was highly suspicious of, but I sill clenched my teeth and hoped for the best. How WRONG was!!??
Their workers on the day of the install arrived almost 2 hrs late, stating they had to pick up some supplies somewhere. It made me feel: hmm, this is $15k project, the materials used here are about $2500 and they do not need even the full day to install everything, how wisely I am spending my money?
We should start pounding on NJ Clean Energy Program board and demand to weed our scammers like AlliedExperts. Their Home Performance With ENERGY STAR program it's nothing but huge waste of resources. NJCEP doesn't even follow up and gathers data how effective their program might be! For sure it's a great idea, but any brilliant idea poorly executed remains a FAIL. My house energy data supports this. I have not noticed much of a difference after their install. The only difference noteworthy is, I am stuck with the $10k loan for the next 10 years.
AlliedEx used my current Nest thermostat and didn't bother to leave the intended one with me, can you on the next project, right? They also took my well-functioning two year old water heater and trashed it without any warning. I had to spend over $600 to purchase a new one for my other location. Our contract nowhere included such a clause.
I am feeling scammed and taken advantage off. I am concerned for others who may be future customers of Allied and will be similarly disappointed.

Got the job done for a great price. ($2000 bucks for furnace replacements and fixing chimney) If you want a cheap furnace he's your guy. Which cheapness come iffy service. He did not show up on time. He said it would take a few hours to install. Kept saying he needed more parts. Ended up having to cancel and delay U&O inspection do to him not being done when he said he would be and taking 2 extra days. (Selling house so u&o had to be done before sale). He knew about my inspection timing and said it would be fine but then failed to deliver on time. The duct work is poor. Completely functional but doesn't look pretty. Lines are not strait. Replaced furnace that had built in air filter with one that does not. Claims none do now days and the filter is in the return. This was not explained to me prior to him being done. So the system now has no filters until I replace the returns. I made the final payment In cash and it took him 2 weeks of me asking to get the receipt. He also refused to take the old furnace and wanted to leave it in my driveway. After insisting that he take it his employee called a scrap guy and it was taken care of. But certainly not full service. But hey, it was cheap. So good enough. If on a budget and you can deal with a little bs then go for it. If you can afford a little extra there may be some better options that are less headache.
