Best Air Filter Cleaning in Philadelphia PA
Nic came out promptly to replace my shower diverters and some eroded pipes in the back. He was quick, professional and explained everything he did. I'll be using him for all my future plumbing/HVAC needs, and the best part is, he is a local small business owner.

my family has been patronizing Ellis plumbing for around 50 years, and they are so reliable and professional that I wanted to give them a review. we called on Friday for an issue with a funky odor in the house, Ed came out Friday afternoon and checked every possible source, drilled some holes to vent our sewer, fixed a sink stopper that had broken years ago and basically shored everything up, while whistling happily to himself. what a great guy. I highly recommend this great company who still has that personal small town touch! thanks

Our trash service doesn't do bulk pickup so I needed someone to haul away our old mattress and box springs. Sunny responded quickly to my request with an estimate and available pickup times. Showed up as promised, was courteous and professional and got the job done quickly for a very reasonable price. Next time I need something hauled away, he'll be my man.

I am thankful I called Enviro-Safe! I was having an issue with my well water so I called around to a few local companies that deal with well water and private well systems. Instead of telling me that I needed a very expensive filtration system right off the bat, Nick spent a few minutes on the phone asking me questions about the problem I was having and ended up sending out a service technician to further diagnose my problem. They were professional and courteous when they arrived and explained everything they were doing. They correctly diagnosed and corrected my problem for the cost of a service call, when they could have told me I needed a lot of expensive equipment installed like everyone else I spoke to. I trust the guys at Enviro-Safe because, they treated me like family and my money like it was their own. I will definitely call them in the future if I have any problems their company can handle!

I called at least 7 other plumbers and Goodman was the cheapest - cheaper than HomeDepot - and they were very up front about the cost. $865 to put in a new one and take the old one away. I scheduled an 8-10 window and they arrived at 9 after calling me an hour before. I like this. Due to certain situation, I needed my water heater installed backwards. This required additional labor but they didn't charge me a dime more. 10/10 would use again and I recommend these guys to everyone.

I took a chance with Queen B after reading the superb reviews and wanted to support a woman owned business. My AC gave out and with little ones in the house, it became especially difficult!! Brenda was personable and went above and beyond to make sure we found comfort again! Feeling very thankful and blessed to have found this company. From start to finish ,everything was excellent and honest. The whole team was courteous, VERY hardworking, and timely. Excellent experience and I will solely be using them when my other unit eventually goes out or I have other needs!

Don't do business with this company. They misdiagnosed my heating issue, caused me to take several days off work and then tried to charge me for something no one told me about up front. Had to get another company to come out (Summers Quality) that correctly diagnosed the issue and took care of it quickly. After disputing the charge with the owner, he proceeded to make a claim to impact my credit.

I would like to give this company a negative rating. I am a landlord and the property management company called Best Choice Plumbing when the tenant had a clogged toilet. The plumber went in, claimed the problem is the water efficient toilet and needs toilet replacement. Also he checked the bathtub, ran the water and said all good. The charge? $350 for de-clogging two drains, even though the plumber said the bathtub was all good. Dana, the office manager at Best Choice, basically said it's the plumber's words against the tenants words, and refused to speak further. She claimed the bathtub was smelly and plumber had to use the plunger, when I told her the tenant was present during the service call, and the plumber had no plunger, she quickly said there is no use arguing and will ask the plumber to call me back. Right yeah, I am still waiting for the call. I would warn anyone against using this company that makes money out of being dishonest, complemented by the lack of response. If the repair person's name is Robbie, refuse service unless you consider yourself a blank check book.

Total rip off. Out of the 3 jobs I reviewed with the technician he only did one of them. When he said he would get started right away it sounded great. That was my first mistake....trusting Horizon Services. I was charged 880 dollars for 2 hours of work to cut 1 section of PVC to lower a toilet flange and replace a toilet shut off valve which costs 5 dollars at Home Depot. Prior to filing a complaint online and being promised twice I would receive a follow up call I had another appointment already setup. Horizon called me 7 times within 1 hour to find out if I was going to be home. They are eager to get more easy money. It took over 2 weeks to get 1 call from a manager about my complaint. It has been over a month and I still can reach the manager. He only left me his office number and no surprise......never picks up the phone. You would think after several voicemails I have left he would give me his cell phone. If you want to get ripped off use horizon services. I would love to see them respond to this and try to justify 2 hours of work with less than 20 dollars in material cost for 880 dollars.

The first tech spent more time talking about 'political issues' than troubleshooting my HVAC issue. Needless to say he didn't fix it. Later, a second tech 'thought' he knew what the issue was and proceeded to replace a part but charged us full price for a part that was under warranty and didn't bother to check. When we brought up that the part was under warranty the next day to Ben's ProServ they said it was too late to get reimbursed. To make matters worse the HVAC is still having the same issues before Ben's ProServ was ever contacted and meanwhile I'm out hundreds of dollars. They did offer to send yet another person out and waive their initial visit fee but after charging us for a part that they shouldn't have charged us for and for the fact that they already had two techs out that couldn't figure out what was going on with no offer to refund the erroneously charged part, I figured it was a safer bet to avoid this company.

I would probably give them 2.5 stars and break it down as the following.
Service - 4 stars
Response - 5 stars
Value - 1 star
I had an semi-emergency where we had just moved into a new house and the shower head broke in our master shower. Additionally the Kitchen sink faucet sprayer wasn't working so I figured I would get the faucet replaced at the same time. I called and they were able to get me on the schedule within two days. I supplied the Moen fixtures/parts and they said they wouldn't warranty them - which I am totally fine with and completely understand. I would also understand if they needed to up-charge me a little for supplying my own fixtures as I am sure they make some money off of supplying fixtures.
So here is where things go off the rails - the job took 2 hours and they charged me $850! So that breaks down to over $400 per hour for labor!!!
If it wasn't for the situation where I needed the work done ASAP because I had just moved in, I probably would have not agreed to the quote. Now that we are settled and are in a better place to manage issues that come up with the house, the next time I need plumbing work, I will likely go elsewhere.

Our clothes washer hose rusted off. The pipes were also corroded. The person who did the repair was great. Great work. Fast. Professional. Price was actually affordable. I will definitely use them again.

Don't waste your time. Called for an appointment and after confirming they simply didn't show up to inspect my HVAC. When I texted t wo hours after the appt time to see if they were late the guy said he had a long week and couldn't make it.

I lost my A/C on a Fri. evening at the start of an 8 day heat wave. My regular heat pump service company (Stanley Cooper in Willow Grove, PA) charges a premium for Sat. service (if a tech is even available, and you MUST have a yearly service contract for $1000.00 to qualify for Sat. service and priority scheduling. I had dropped the service contract-$1000.00 is TOO MUCH to pay for two maintenance visits/year and priority service.). My Mom had used Horizon and was happy with the service she received. More importantly, the website advertised speedy service for midsummer emergencies so I called the telephone number that came up when I Googled Horizon home services.
Speedy, emergency service turned out to be the following Tuesday afternoon-4 full days (and nights) of 95-100 degree temps. w/ a heat index of 105 degrees! In hindsight, I don't know if the switchboards are for all Horizons or if I could have tried another number. I have a 105 lb. Newfoundland dog so going elsewhere was not really an option-those were 4 VERY LONG, HOT days.
Steve C. arrived on time, very friendly, knowledgeable, etc. Diagnosed the problem quickly and I was very impressed that the part was available on his truck. One drawback-not just a tech, also a sales person. If you sign up for this package, I can give you this percentage off blah blah...
Steve replaced the part (capacitor) on the outside unit with no trouble. I also needed a new condensation pump on the inside unit (which I knew prior to the breakdown of the unit) so Steve asked if I wanted him to replace it while he was already at my house. Again, he had the part available so I agreed. He stated that he would also have to replace the clear plastic tubing between the pump and the main heat pump unit and I agreed that it was obviously necessary. The clear, flexible tubing was a nasty dark brown, hard as a rock (not at all flexible) and there was nasty goop inside of the tubing.
Steve completed both repairs-replaced two parts-I ended up purchasing a maintenance package for two years, Steve reviewed the paperwork etc. and handed me a card explaining that it was info. to go to a website to review my experience w/ Steve personally. I questioned if it affected him directly as far as pay increases etc. to determine if it was worth my time. He affirmed that responses affected him directly. I put the card aside...
THIS REVIEW SEEMS IRRELEVANT, I'M SURE, UP TO THIS POINT. Two days later, I had to go into my utility room where the heat pump is located. It was then that I noticed that the NASTY, OLD, DISGUSTING (NO LONGER CLEAR) PLASTIC TUBING WAS CONNECTED TO MY BRAND NEW CONDENSATION PUMP!! Steve never replaced the tubing and then made a point of asking me to review his work-how stupid! When I went online to write the review, I saw all of the terrible reviews/experiences so I went to the BBB page-WOW!! I'm very sorry that I got sucked into the maintenance package. Steve supposedly did the A/C maintenance during the repair but in the past it's taken about 45 min. and he was only here for 45 min. installing parts!

I have been having heating issues with my brand new system since the middle of December. I made my first call January 1st and since then I have gone through multiple visits, emails, phone calls. It is now February 3rd and I still do not have working heat throughout my home. Each time I call back, they act like it is my first calling and they look into scheduling me for a tech to take a look.
This week they had a visit scheduled and never showed or called. Stay away from this company, they are only interested in selling the install, but never following up on the warranty. I am going on 1 year with this new system, yet never had a chance to see the system operate properly. I now have to call another company to fix their mess and hope to have heat before winter is over.
