In my profession I have worked with a large number of plumbing companies nationally and I have found Reliance to be a very responsive company that gets things done quickly.  Their pricing is very fair.  Our company continues to use them regularly and will continue to do so.

I chose Action Handy Man because of the reviews and the location. There are usually not issues in the reviews. I had a couple. However, how they were handled is what I want to share.
The first question was, is this an emergency?
It wasn't. I needed to install a w/d where there had never been one.
I scheduled a two hour window for the walk through/ estimate. At 1 1/2 hours I called to confirm. There had been a mix up. But they dropped what they were doing, and were there in minutes.
But there were unforeseen issues which caused the entire plan to change. Mark just went with flow. With my permission he stayed till 9:00pm one night, and 11:00pm another to complete it.
Then the dryer didn't work. All parts were checked and were working. I called and asked him to please rack his brain and see if we missed anything. He did. It was an issue in the breaker box. He came back and fixed it. No extra charge.
And I am thrilled to have my w/d working.
It was so worth it. Mark was very knowledgeable and helpful. I definitely recommend him.

We were referred to Hancock Plumbing from a very trusted source recommending them as being The-Best-Of-The-Best and sure enough, they measured up... Over 21 years in our house and we have gone through our fair share of plumbers and we could not have been more pleased with their services... From easy appointments, punctual arrival, knowledgeable staff and follow-up. Entire experience was 1st class and we DO recommend them highly!

My gas water heater stopped working and they came out and replaced it.  They were very nice to deal with and they did an excellent job.  I would definitely use them again!

I cannot say enough good things about the service with this company. They are honest, reliable, polite, and great at communicating with their customers. We have been having plumbing problems for two years in our master bathroom. I had a good feeling with this company immediately because when I called to make the appointment, the technician took the time to hear me out about the issues and gave me some suggestions/things to keep in mind. When he came out, he gave us our options/pricing and managed to do the job for the most reasonable price possible. Someone FINALLY told us what the problem is and fixed it. We finally have our shower back after nearly two months! I would have hugged the technician if it didn't freak him out! :) I would not hesitate to have them out here again and to recommend them to anyone.

Called Brian on Tuesday for a backed up leg of our sewer line.  We discussed the issue and Brian gave me a general idea of the cost.  Wednesday he and Rich came out, scoped out the line and found a wad of TP stuck in a Y caused by a low flow toilet and 3 weeks away from home allowing it to dry and solidify.  Rich got on the roof, fought off the tree frogs in the vent line (who knew), and snaked the line clear through the vent.  Sean showed up a bit later and he and Rich screen capped all the vents to keep the frogs at bay.  And the price was still what Brian had quoted.

Bottom line,  flush those toilets a couple of time before you go on trips, oh, and don't forget, after you go also...  ;)

We put out a request for an Electric Panel Upgrade/Replacement and Lincoln not only responded the fastest out of several businesses, but he was able to provide us with a FREE estimate in minutes just from us providing a few photos.
Everyone else was pestering us to do an in-home appointment estimate, one of which provided a free one so we allowed it, and they quoted us over $700 more than what Lincoln did! We received many quotes and his seemed the most reasonable.
So we scheduled the service with Lincoln and just a few days later, he showed up on time and completed the entire job in just a matter of hours.
The new electrical panel was tested and tweaked to get everything back up and running properly.

However, there were two large holes left in the wall once everything was said and done, and this was not discussed at all to be expected prior to the work - much less that fixing it would be at our own expense. We were told it could be taken care of for an additional $350+, which would now put the job over the budget of the other estimates. After hearing that, I decided to just patch it up myself as I already had everything necessary to take care of it. Whether or not this is typical for this type of work, we were not made aware of it and expectations for it were never set nor mentioned anytime prior or during the work. We would've very much appreciated knowing this up front!

Jarom, Tim and Nolan showed up on time, did a great job, were knowledgeable and creative, finished early and charged me fairly. I'm really not sure what more you could ask from a handyman. They took down a satellite dish, cut and sealed off the wires, changed some exterior lights and sealed all the holes in our house that were open to birds high up.  I've had really bad experiences with contractors and while remodeling our home and this was honestly one of the easiest. We have had people not show up, people not finish the project and everything else you could think of and the interaction with these guys was smooth and easy. We already asked them to come back and pressure wash and stain our deck and fence.

I am always happy with nick's service.  He is professional and polite, traits that are hard to come by in these times.  He is always on time and takes care of everything quickly and with care.  He knows his job and I can always depend on him.  He has been the person who has serviced my AC and my daughter's AC for many, many years and I hope he will remain at the pro - tech company for many more years.  I look forward to his service because I know it will be complete.  Thank you for having such a great employee.

Prepare to pay Frank Gay to assess your job for a $39.00 fee. Sized up our disposal R&R with a cheap unit and handed the spouse an estimate / bill for + -$650.00 ! I get the call and promptly send him on his way. You got to be kidding!!!

$118 later with a Lowes unit, I get under the sink and complete the job in less than 40 mins.

I get home to review the bill left for us to approve and I see they added a maintenance plan for $200 + a $40 membership fee. WTF are they thinking?? Unsolicited add-perk, and not explained / disclosed.

I call Sarah (since she has been responding to their Yelp reviews.) and explaine why they didn't get $650 for their estimate. Both the tech and Sarah said he was a new employee and that was most of the problem.

Sarah refunded their trip charge for the estimate.

The fact Sarah responds to their reviews and refunded the trip charge got them a 4 stars. I believe they will work with me so both sides are happy if hired in the future and hit a rough spot.

RotoRooter is way overpriced.  They charged me 3 to 4 times what my own local plumber would have charged as they wanted to charge me $ 9,386 to replace approximately 30 feet of sewer line.  My plumber would have only charged me like $ 2,200.00.  There was no concrete to demo - only dirt.  They are definitely a rip off and I would suggest you will always be better off using your own small local plumber!  Believe me, they will take advantage of you too!

Great company!  The owner Neil and the tech Anthony Long were very helpful and took care of our problem right away.  Terrific service, fair pricing.  We will use them from now on when we need plumbing services - highly recommended!

Biasi Plumbing is a very professional business that offers a high quality of work for a good price. The owner and employees were kind and respectful. They fixed my plumbing and followed up with me afterwards to make sure that everything was working properly. I would recommend this business to family, friends, and anyone that needs work on their plumbing.

If you are in a time crunch DO NOT hire Holland Plumbing. The owner said he would be here on Friday, two employees showed up on Thursday. I had a 1 PM appointment which I missed, the employees left at 1:05 said they might be back on Friday. Monday was a holiday. Tuesday the owner showed up, said he would be here the following Monday at 8 AM. That Monday it was raining. I told myself they weren't coming. Around 10 AM the two employees showed up and about 4 1/2 hours later I finally had water.

A few days later I had a broken water pipe, there was an argument over who was at fault. Holland Plumbing said they would fix the pipe. As before they have not called and have not shown up. I called another plumber who showed up when he said he would and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes.

When they worked, Holland Plumbing did a great job, they need better management skills.
