I have a horrible leaking in the toilet at home and down the sink. The humidity smell was horrible and I thought it was because the heavy rain we had in California lately. Due to the urgency with the problem I contact my landlord and he called AB's. The job was made fast and very well done! I wanted to change the floor because the problem caused the old floor to come out so I even asked the guy to help me and he was so nice and gentle to help me to changed the floor down the toilet. (I'll finished the rest later! )
I honestly don't know how much the landlord will pay for his job but if was my house I'll be happy to pay whatever he asked for because that's what I call a fast well done job! He fixed everything in less that an hour! No more heavy humidity smell, no more urine smell and the best of all I am able to changed the floor! Here are some photos from before and after. Ben installed my hot water heater last summer.  He was very friendly and professional.  He responded right away, on a SUNDAY, and stayed with it until we had a new hot water heater installed and working that afternoon.  He did great work for a very reasonable price.

Yesterday, the hot water heater's t/p valve released for some reason and water flooded into the pan, etc.  I contacted Ben, nearly a year later, and he responded right away.  He came over first thing this morning, checked it all out and installed a new valve, just to be safe.  We have hot water again and my family can rest easy.  

With all of the shady characters out there in the contracting/construction world, I just wanted to share that I think I've found a real, professional tradesman who stands by his work and cares about his clients.

Requested bid for recirculating pump for newer tankless water heater.  The plumber took pictures and said he would get back.  After one month and several calls to company, owner was scheduled to come out.  No show and no contact.  After another call he was scheduled again.  On day of appointment, secretary called and said he wasn't coming.  She attempted to provide over the phone expertise, but had no clue.  Very unprofessional.

My experience was great, though short. I called Zero Leaks at 8:30am about a suspected underground irrigation leak. They scheduled me same day at 11am. Jorge arrived 5 mins. early and was very polite and professional. In less than 5 mins. he helped me locate a valve that was stuck open. I hadn't seen puddling because it was a drip zone. With the good news that I had no leaks, Jorge did not charge me anything for his trip! I will definitely call Zero Leaks for my next plumbing need.

Excellent service! Carlos called me quickly, gave me advice over the phone, and was able to come by for a same day appointment. He fixed my kitchen sink quickly, even though it was not a standard problem. Affordable, good communication, and good work. What else can you ask for?

Plumber was fine (reason for two stars, not one star), but business hides the ball on the prices of parts.  It claims it is not able to provide estimates before the work is approved.  Instead you have to wait for the invoice with a price that is significantly higher than the ball park figure provided in their estimate.

They try to blame their suppliers for both their inability to disclose the dollar amount before the work is done and reason for charging so much afterward, but if you research the price of identical parts online, you see their profit margin is at least 100% (so you'll pay at least twice what they paid for the part).

There is NO valid reason for this lack of transparency.  I recommend you find a more ethical plumber.

NO stars, do not call this company if you need them quickly.  I called their emergency number at 10:00 last night and they returned my call at 7:30 a.m.  In the meantime, our sump pump died and we had major flooding in our basement.  True we had the worst storm in the last ten years, but they (their service) promised me a call in less than an hour.  Meanwhile, trying to stop the water kept us up all night.  They are not reliable.
