Abraham was super responsive and fantastic! We had a broken toilet seat with corroded bolts so could not replace it ourselves. He fixed the problem in a matter of  minutes. Plus he gave us great tips for avoiding a plumbing issue on Thanksgiving! Getting quick and exceptional service on such short notice on a holiday week was amazing. Ben installed my hot water heater last summer.  He was very friendly and professional.  He responded right away, on a SUNDAY, and stayed with it until we had a new hot water heater installed and working that afternoon.  He did great work for a very reasonable price.

Yesterday, the hot water heater's t/p valve released for some reason and water flooded into the pan, etc.  I contacted Ben, nearly a year later, and he responded right away.  He came over first thing this morning, checked it all out and installed a new valve, just to be safe.  We have hot water again and my family can rest easy.  

With all of the shady characters out there in the contracting/construction world, I just wanted to share that I think I've found a real, professional tradesman who stands by his work and cares about his clients.

I called Jose at Atlas on Saturday morning. He was busy and said he'd come between 5 and 5.30. They arrived with their high pressure water machine at 5:15 and my drains were clean and happy by 6pm.

Not cheap but I prefer reliable and efficient in an emergency plumber.

Last Friday, we noticed our house getting cold and by the evening, it was really cold. We have radiant heat and I went out and felt the boiler and it was stone cold. Early the next morning (Saturday), I called a few boiler specialists including Innovative Radiant Heating. The owner, Ramnar Montoya, called me back quickly and scheduled time to look at our problem the same day. He confirmed what I suspected, our almost 40 year old boiler was dead (bad heat exchanger). I received a few bids that day but the bid from Ramnar was the only one that included all the details of the job (flushing the system, installing pumps and pressure regulater, etc). I liked that detail because I didn't have to wonder whether all the work we discussed was going to be included. Ramnar answered my many questions throughly and the more time I spent talking to him, the better feeling I got. His bid was very competitive and he didn't try to sell me things I didn't need; actually quite the opposite. At one point, I was interested in a more expensive boiler and he gently suggested it would be a waste of money. I ended up taking his advice. After reviewing a couple of more bids and many more questions to Ramnar, I hired his firm to install the new boiler. I asked him if he could stop in during the installation. He responded saying he would be doing the installation. I liked that. He was able to schedule the work quickly and arrived at our house exactly when he said he would. Ramnar did thorough, excellent, work and did everything he said he would. He was absolutely great to work with and very pleasant to have at our house. My utility closet and new boiler look great and our house is now warm and comfortable again. I am very happy to write this review.  With our next plumbing catastrophe, I will not hesitate to call Ramnar and Innovative Radiant Heating again. Thank you Ramnar!

The handle came off the shower faucet and the shower head was leaking, after it was turned off with the pliers. I sent an SOS out to YELP for a plumber. Awais from Elite plumbing responded and repaired the shower the same day. Great price, great work, great service. A decent honest plumber who does excellent work. My new plumber. Definitely will be using Elite Plumbing Service again.

From the time we called, Amanda had to quote to us promptly Ayer we sent photos of the old heater, it's location and passage way. Time was set for replacement and the contractor, Jordan was an excellent worker explaining things as he worked.   An excellent experience.

He didn't make a dime off our transaction. Our garbage disposal leaked. Rey inspected it and said it needed to be replaced. We requested an inexpensive garbage disposal for $250. At the hardware store Rey bought items for several clients in bulk and didn't notice he got a disposal worth almost $500. He didn't realize his mistake until after he installed the disposal. He insisted he charge us only what we originally agreed. I objected that he visited us twice, shopped for us, and labored under our sink, so we should pay him a little more. He wouldn't accept any increase in price. Now that's what I call an honest businessman.

Honest, respectful, and provided updates to pricing and issues with heater before, during, and after the repair.

I have used Jorge's plumbing several times, from installing sewage sump pumps, rain water sump pumps, installing backstops and correcting past plumbers' shoddy workmanship in general. He's friendly, reliable and always gets the job done right. I highly recommend his services.

I have had occasion to use Star Rooter for several issues ranging from a broken outdoor spigot to a tree root -ruptured water line to the house. Each time, Fred has responded quickly and has been able to complete the repair in a timely manner with professionalism and courtesy.

Jorge is awesome!!! He saved our night. Irrigation pipes burst in the back yard and sent water spraying 5 feet in the air. You won't go wrong with this company and Araceli the receptionist is great.  They are always right on top of things, professional, courteous and and you get honest information and good results in the end!

Our furnace in our new house would shut down after running for 5 min. We asked AN for a quote to fix the heating problems. They tried to sell us a whole new heating system to downsize the furnace for over $11K even though the furnace was new. My jaw dropped. The man actually wanted us to scrap a perfectly new furnace only because it was oversized - in his opinion. We never actually received the official quote. The second company looked at the system and thought the furnace just a bit oversized but devised a solution with new duct work for $2K. The job is complete and the solution from the second company works great. The second company Elliot Air Systems.

Really wish that I didn't have to write a negative review for Valley Plumbing; I was really hoping that they could be my go to plumbing company for all of our future needs.  However, I am not happy with my experience.  We needed new sinks and faucets in our kitchen and after much research I chose Valley Plumbing because of the good reviews that they received.  After the work was done, my husband and I were very happy with the sinks and faucets.  However, a few months after the install the special feature (i.e. the ability to tap the faucet on and off) of one of the faucets stopped working and our pipes started leaking when we ran the dishwasher.  I called Valley Plumbing and one of the mechanics came out.  The following two things were determined:

- The battery pack was defective for one of the faucets that they originally installed. He messed around with the faulty faucet for a while and then since we got the same faucet on two different sinks he took the battery pack from the good sink and tried it on the faucet that wasn't working. Personally, I don't think that he should have messed with the good sink.
- The connection for the dishwasher was not connected appropriately, which was why it was leaking. He immediately said, we aren't the ones that did this work, are we? And I said that they did in fact do the install. Ultimately, he realized that he was the one that did the initial install! In fairness to Valley Plumbing it was not leaking when the install first happened; however, it couldn't have been connected tightly enough for it to already be leaking just a few months after the install. I asked him about how to pull the dishwasher out because I wanted to ensure that there was no mold behind it as a result of the leak. He then noted that the dishwasher connection probably came apart because we were trying to pull the dishwasher out. This was completely false and I did not appreciate the accusation, as we never actually pulled the dishwasher out. It seemed to me that he was trying to place blame on the faulty connection work that he did.  

All of this work took an hour and then I received the surprising news that I had to pay $134 as a result of him having to come out and diagnose the problem (including time spent taking apart my good sink faucet)! I expressed my dissatisfaction with this as I just paid Valley Plumbing thousands of dollars for 2 new sinks and 2 new faucets and now I have to pay for their failure to connect a part correctly and for a defective product. He simply said that I had to pay for labor. I asked if I was going to have to pay more when he came back to install the part, since he didn't have the new part with him and he said he would have to check with his manager.  He came back to install the new part today and I had to pay an additional $34, so obviously he never checked with his manager.  I didn't even say anything to him this time about having to pay the additional money since it seems like a lost cause.

I just don't agree with this business model. This is bad customer service to make me pay an additional $168 for this. I could have been a customer for life, but because they did not do the right thing in my opinion I will not be using Valley Plumbing again nor will I refer them to my friends.  Hope you all have a better experience than I did. I will say that we are happy with our sinks and faucets (now that they are both working correctly) and Valley Plumbing did show up when they said they would throughout the process. This is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1.
