Never written a review before - absolutely have to for Vernon and Hamilton Plumbing. Excellent experience from start to finish and start was right here via yelp. I received a timely response to a quote request with a great price. The quote had detailed instructions as to how the job would be completed, which I loved and gave me great confidence. I had an urgent and almost unrealistic need for quick service and Vernon fit me in to his already very busy schedule. The job was completed quickly and professionally and he even gave me tips as to how to move forward replacing the toilet over the flange he replaced for me. I cannot recommend Hamilton Plumbing, Heating & AC enough. If you need a plumber or HVAC professional - please call Vernon at Hamilton Plumbing, Heating & AC.

Great experience overall from the estimate to the planning, execution and cleanup.  They were always prompt, thorough, efficient, friendly and cleaned up daily during the mulit-day installation in a very tight space.  Highly recommend!!!

Let me put it this way. It's 8 PM last night with 50 degree weather and it's raining that kind of miserable pissing rain that soaks you down slowly but completely. The last thing I'd want to do is stand out in the road snaking a clogged sewer line that's spitting the vilest smelling black water I've ever encountered in my life in my face and blowing specks of human shit all over my head and shirt. This, however, is what Brian Emmel and his brother Matt from T&D Plumbing do for a living. They not only do it, but they do it graciously-- with the kind of professionalism and knowledge that makes you feel totally confident that you have just contracted honest and experienced techs who really know what they're doing. First, they come in and look over the situation like detectives on a murder scene, letting you know exactly what is the cause of the problem, and how they propose to do to correct it. Then they get to work with the best attitude I've ever seen from anyone that's about to dig elbows-deep into what we've all flushed down toilets and let flow freely down our sink and shower drains for years. They let you know the entire time what's going on and how it's progressing. Frankly, it's kind of like if Superman drove a white van and wore boots and Dickies uniforms instead of flying and wearing a mask and cape. I just felt all safe and like everything was gonna be fine standing there feeling admittedly slightly less masculine as these alpha-males dove in head first and solved my problems for me. This isn't the first time I have used T&D Plumbing, and they are my go-to service for all things water related. Their number hangs on the wall in my office and also on my refrigerator door. Their prices have always been extremely fair. These guys are polite, knowledgeable, and get the job done well. What else could you ask for? Don't even call anyone else-- I am not joking when I say that there is no reason to. I remain a very satisfied customer and am truly impressed by them over and over again.

Carlos the Plumber was efficient, straight forward, and he did the job at a good price. It was so simple and as it should be that I forgot how sleazy and predatory the other plumbers have become.

It was as refreshing as meeting an honest politician in Washington D.C.

Customer Service started well as soon at the first connection. Explained our situation and the struggles with other companies and quickly setup a service call and worked with my schedule to find a good time. Chad called prior to arriving and arrived onsite. Got to work right away and had the issue cleared up quickly and efficiently. He then took extra time to ensure the job was tested and the issue resolved. Cleaned up the area upon completion. I would recommend them for you plumbing needs and we will be sure to use them again in the future.

I had a very serious  problem  with my sewer backups and we had 2 different plumbing companies look at it, and they both said they couldn't fix it without tearing everything out. Coldrite plumbing assured me they would fix the problem and minimize the replacement of existing pipes.  Larry was fantastic and very knowledgeable with the problems that we had. Coldrite was quick and came in under budget.Best plumbers in Abingdon Md hands down.

Our first experience with David E White's Plumbing occurred, as it always seems to, on a holiday weekend. We had a leak in our copper pipes AND in the whole house sediment filter. Not only did they respond, but they responded in less than an hour. All of this, plus a great repair job, on Easter Saturday. Forward a few weeks we decided our whole aging house needed to be re-plumbed before more Cape St. Claire low pH water ate through and caused a disaster behind the walls or in the ceiling. Not surprisingly, White's came through with a very competitive bid in a timely fashion. No other company was even close. Work was done when they said it would be and in less time than we expected. White's is best around. Honest, hard-working, competitive.

I had a problem with my hot water heater not getting hot enough and called Aqua Plumbing because of many recommendations from neighbors. I now know why! The service was on-time, professional and the owner and his assistant were very nice and took time to explain the whole process to me. The fix ended up being something very simple and I could have easily been charged by a less scrupulous plumber for unnecessary work. I even received a phone call the next morning to make sure everything was good. I will never call another plumber.

I've been a Robertson customer since the '70s.  In July, I had hot water problems and sought help.  Experienced tech arrived OK, but did not diagnose issue.  Furnace folks did.  Anyway,  I directed they install a mixing valve for safety.  $100 part.  Bill was $505.60 for his time and materials.  Just back from Seattle and even there, this is a rip.  Yes, I got $100 reduction after complaint.

Scheduling was very easy and accommodating with Horizon Services. Tech gave an on the way call before showing up. Very professional and was thorough in checking my system. Very satisfied with the service and will continue to call Horizon Services for my furnace and AC needs.

We had a Sunday morning water heater leak and called several companies with few return calls. Apple called within minutes, and a technician came about an hour later. After diagnosing the problem, he immediately went to the shop for the part and came right back to install it. The price for the entire ordeal was less than BGE Home's quote just to come to the house!  Ray was prompt, polite, efficient, and skilled. We asked for several cards so we could share with friends. We will definitely call Apple the next time we have a plumbing need!

We had a water emergency, came home from vacation to a broken well pump and no water. Derek came out on a Sunday morning and fixed it quickly and we were back in business. Thank you!

Like many of you who might be reading this know, living in an old home can present lots of plumbing challenges. Thus my problem: I was in need of a shut off valve handle for an old hose bib assembly. Though Saffer didn't have one, Master Plumber Robert Wilcox who was manning the front desk when I visited, sure tried to find a solution. I left without the handle, but some sound advice and respect for their customer service.

As owner and operator of or WM. J. Theiss & Son for decades, Mr. Theiss chose to stock hard-to-find items even though the plumbing industry was rapidly and constantly changing. Thankfully, after the merger with Saffer Plumbing, it appears his desire to serve the surrounding community remains intact. I can't attest to their in-home service, but if you're in need of a historic part, you can't go wrong visiting Saffer where I KNOW they will do their best at helping you find a solution.  Thanks, Robert!

I recently had Abend out to remove a hot water heater while the floor was being repaired, then they came back once floor repairs were made, installed a drain pan and line for the hot water heater.
Very prompt, courteous, and efficient service. I definitely recommend them.

Have them come out and do couple of jobs for us. Always rushed the work, it was never done properly. It was also super expensive. So, I will NOT be using them again.

Ray Traver and Heather Kole are scammers!  They claim to be a large, local, family-owned plumbing business with more than 10 years of experience.  I truly believe the company is solely Ray and Heather.  He lures you in with a low quote, then goes up on the quote.  You request a contract and they give you the run around claiming that it was sent to your email which it clearly wasn't.  We paid the initial deposit by bank card and they added $93 to the charge.  That should have been the first sign of trouble.  He did the work (used 3 pipes when code is 4, did not supply enough gravel to support the pipes, etc).  He reduced the final price due to only replacing 20' of pipes rather than the contracted 60' of pipes.  We authorized a final agreed upon payment of $1,000 and $2,400 was charged (yes, he stole $1,400).  We've called this so-called 24 hour plumber at least 3 times over the past 3 days and they won't answer our calls or return them.  His work was to be guaranteed for 3 years but at this point that is also out of the window.  After stealing our money, and not answering our call----he isn't returning nor would we want him to.

I own a few rental properties and use a property management company to manage them. Had a bad hot water valve under the sink in the kitchen. Since the condo was old I decided to change both hot and cold water valves and also both valves on 2 bathrooms so I wouldn't have to deal with any future problems. My management company uses Mike's plumbing so they sent them out to do the job. The bill was $644!!!. 6 water valves!!! Paid by my management company and I paid them but I couldn't believe it so I asked the management company for the bill, it said 5 hours labor. 5 Hours for 6 water valves????. So I called my tenant and asked him, guess what he said?? 2 hours. Yep 2 hours. Next time I'll find my own plumbing company. As soon as I finish posting this I will be calling my management company and letting them know what happened, hopefully they will be using another plumbing company too.

I bought a new shower head to install in my master bath, intending to install myself which I've done in previous homes & this one, about 25 years ago. It's a simple process, taking 10-15 mins. Alas, age has caught up with me & my  arthritic hands can no longer turn the wrench. I clearly stated to the person answering the phone what I wanted done, that it was a simple job. I understood that there was a $49.00 service fee which would be deducted from the price should I choose to complete the  job. In my naivete, I thought surely it wouldn't be more than $100 - $120 which I was willing to pay just to get it done. The estimate was over $230.00!!!! For a job that most anyone, with working hands & eyes, could do in 10 mins! What a waste of $49.00!!! NEVER will I call them again!
