1st Choice Plumbing Inc. is a Baltimore plumbing company founded by master plumber Alan Urszuy. We take great pains to offer our clients ethical plumbing help. We provide all types of general plumbing services including gas line fitting, repair and installation of boilers, installation and repair of traditional and tankless heaters, faucets, sinks, kitchen plumbing installation, bathroom plumbing and more.

HISTORY

Established in 2011.
We are a family owned and operated business serving Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and surrounding counties. Master Plumber Alan Urszuy, the founder and owner, has given conscientious plumbing assistance to local residents for more than 20 years. With his wife, daughter, and assistant plumbers he provides excellent service to clients. For well over a decade Alan ran Rose Plumbing and then worked as a Mr. Rooter franchise owner. Alan's reputation in the local community is built on his record of excellence and trustworthiness. He founded 1st Choice Plumbing so he could further is goals of client oriented services and customer education. Alan believes customers have the right to make informed decisions about their home's plumbing needs. He has stated that Our goal is to work personally with each of our clients and design plumbing systems that meet their budget.

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

Alan Urszuy was born and raised in Baltimore, Md. He served in the military and subsequently completed his licensing requirements to become a Master plumber and Gas Fitter. He has worked as a local plumber for over 40 years, first independently, then as owner of Rose plumbing. He did a short sting as owner of a Mr. Rooter franchise, and finally opened his current company, 1st Choice Plumbing Inc. Throughout all his years as a plumber, Alan has always put a premium on ethical and honest dealings with his customers.

I've used First Choice Plumbing on several occasions and have found them to be on time, efficient, exceptionally honest and reasonably priced. They explain everything and are the kind of company that doesn't sell you something unless you need it, unlike other companies looking to pad their profits.

Great experience overall from the estimate to the planning, execution and cleanup. They were always prompt, thorough, efficient, friendly and cleaned up daily during the mulit-day installation in a very tight space. Highly recommend!!!

I would recommend 1st Choice Plumbing because of the high level of professionalism displayed by Mr. Urszuy with his daughter/helper throughout the entire process from beginning to end which took two days to complete. First, what I appreciated, was the office notification phone call if arrival would be late followed with approximate arrival time.
Secondly, Mr Urszuy was very knowledgeable and thorough during customer education when explaining what the actual core issues were after asking me to describe the chronic symptoms we we've been having for years, like a stopped up sink that caused me to dump water after every dish wash. He displayed team work ethic upon running into a major unforseen problem by contacting his supervisor to come in and make recommendations. Our house was built in 1910, so the pipes were old, he did a great job! No more dumping water for me!!
