Expensive and deceptive on pricing. $183 to fix a clogged toilet.

The the not-so-hot water became an issue so Tony came back and fixed it. I recommend this business and will call them again if I have another plumbing problem.

Alex was so helpful and accommodating. He sent a guy early the next day after I called in the evening about my clogged drain line . He followed up with phone call to ensure the issue had been solved . Definitely I am glad to have found a reliable trustworthy plumbing company . I'm very grateful !

Usually I completely loathe the idea of even calling any plumbers or any company for help, but this was a dire situation. Especially the day before Thanksgiving! Lucas arrived within 30 mins to our residence and unclogged our toilet that had overflowed all throughout the bathroom and I had to shut off the water completely. Anything I did, plunging, waiting for the water to lower and try again... I had it! I called and had them come out. I was lucky to find Jason on inquiring through Yelp for a plumber. I took a picture and gave a brief description of the issue I was having and boom, sent out to four different companies. Sweet, that was super easy.

The first response I received back was from A1 services, saying I am booked.. Well my inquiry was for a scheduled service, not an emergency. Was not too confident with them. The second response that I received was from Jason. Very professional response and he assured me that my issue was normal and he has seen it a few times. The third inquiry I received from The honest plumber, it was well over a day and by my photo he could not give me a definite price. The fourth was to EHS & Sons, I have yet to receive a response.

I was just like any other Yelper and wanted to do my research before hiring anyone. All reviews were perfect, checked other sources and HE IS COMPLETELY LEGITIMATE. When I replied to Jason he gave me a quick response with his phone number and told me I could text or call him with any questions or to discuss the issue. I set up a time for him to come out and do the work the next day :)

The work was complete in just a few hours, once everything was set and dry we could put our new toilet on. Toilet was set with no problems and it is now fully functional.

Jason was a very nice and professional man to work with. I would recommend his services to anyone. Great response time and fair prices. Thank you Jason for the great work that you provided, I will be sure to recommend you to others. He gets his jobs through word of mouth and does not advertise. I am happy to have found him :)

This company is a joke. Its been almost 30 days and they still can't get it right they replaced my shower valve with the wrong one.  And the shower still will not turn off. I would not recommend this company to anyone

Mark came out and did several things...he knows his stuff and is a true professional.....did great work at what I consider a budget friendly price.

Great service from Mark! We were looking around for plumbing repair here and they responded really quick and they have the most reasonable quote. Mark is such a nice guy, he came on time, wore mask the entire time, he explained everything to us and most importantly he did a really great job fixing the problem. I called everyone in Bakersfield to help me with my new home purchase and they showed up on time, very professional, great pricing and were able to help me with my small and larger projects. They are now an big part of my landlord team and I feel thankful to have found them. They came by quick to clean out a clogged drain and coming later to help with my bath handle. I took a chance on this business, and it paid off. I have to say that the prices are very reasonable, especially with everything else going up I really felt like Will took care of me.

I also like the follow up Will did after the work was done to make sure I was completely satisfied.

The work done was exterior lights installation, metal gutter repair, and a leaning wood fence was repaired.

I will definitely call again for any future repairs I need. The invoice and payment method of using a credit card made it very easy! The serviceman was on time and friendly, also he was a great communicator.

Always on time, within the hours they quote and they call when they are on the way. I had two toilets that needed the valves and water lines replaced. In and out in about 35 min. They charge $85/hr and the whole bill including parts was $139. I have used them on several occasions now and they have never let me down. You WILL have to provide a credit card prior to their arrival. If you are unwilling or unable to provide a credit card they will not take the job.

We had our water heater crack and flood my garage and Sabir from extreme plumbing was able to make it out there the same day to replace it. He was able to explain why that happened very clearly and made the replacement process very easy! Definitely recommend.

My shower handle broke off this morning and we had to immediately turn off our water. I called McCall's since Robert did such a fantastic job the first time.
Once again from speaking with the kind and professional office manager through the successful repair Robert performed within an hour of my request for service, I am so impressed!
Today's repair was a difficult one & Robert did an outstanding job! He is very knowledgeable and assisted with a water heater issue as well. He always goes above and beyond! His assistant was very kind and professional as well and cleaned everything up perfectly after the repair.

Payed 300 dollars for them to open a pipe that didn't help solve the problem.
I feel ripped off. I called them back and told us because it wasn't guaranteed it would have worked they will not be coming back without paying extra.
Now we're 300 dollars short and our toilet isn't working.
The only positive thing is they were prompt and friendly.

If you live in the bakersfield area, I highly recommend Pistol Pete's Plumbing and Rooting. They will actually get the job done and they charge us half of what Roto-Rooter cost us. They are honest and will help you fix your problem.

I made an appointment for Kangarooter  to service my septic tank and provided my telephone number, for any issues. They came to the house and torn up my yard, failed to pump my septic tank do to tree roots that were the width of a pasta noodle and never called. I called back that evening and spoke with the owners wife, who said her husband would came me in the morning. He never called and the lady that answers the phone called and said they would have to use a tractor. Poor customer service. Do not waste your time with this company!

I would definitely recommend Bakersfield Plumbing! My water heater started leaking on a Saturday and they were able to come out that day! Thankfully because it couldn't have waited until Monday! He did what he could on Saturday but needed a part. So he came back on Monday to finish the job. I think the price was reasonable considering he came on a weekend and had to come back. I didn't feel like he was trying to rip me off in anyway. They seem to be an ethically run business, which I appreciate.

in reply to their 'fabricated' response, first  I would like to  note,  that only a wk later I went to change the filter in my AC unit and the 'inside' of the AC unit was absolutely FILTHY!!...something that i never experience with any prior service visit!....so this 'newbee' they sent me did absolutely nothing regarding 'cleaning/servicing' my unit....so not only does this person have no brains...as you can read below (to stand right in front of a sign posted on my back door that says 'no back door access...use front door ONLY, yet he doesn't bother knocking at the FRONT door...like NORMAL people would...and just is ready to drive off!), but he is the laziest service rep I have ever dealt with (and this owners(?) stating there were prior issues with other service visits are fabricated...i never had ANY issues with ANY other service reps in all the years of doing business with this co......makes me think this 'lazy newbee' was some relative of someone in the co.!). Anyway, GLAD TO BE RID of suck an UNPROFESSIONAL service!

this was my husband's reply to owner(s) letter of cancellation, that gave us no reason as to why cancelling (and now only getting a fabricated one!):

on the June service visit here, my wife informed me that the driver went to the back door instead of the front (where on the Back door a large sign is clearly posted stating: Use Front Door ONLY - Back Door is NOT Accessible, and that sign is not only directly on the back door, but also on the Front of the house that one can clearly SEE as you MUST walk by it to get to the back door, yet your service rep chose to just ignored these signs). Since the back door cannot be opened, my wife waited for him to READ the signs, and come to the front door, instead he got into his truck and she heard him starting to drive away!  She had to immediately run outside in her stocking feet to be able to stop him in time from leaving, so naturally she was upset asking why he can't read signs, and why he wouldn't 'naturally' come around to the front door? He had nothing but excuses that made zero sense....saying: 'didn't know if you still wanted the appointment', and  'I didn't see a car so thought no one was home' (... really?? that was his 'excuse' for being too lazy to knock on the front door?...we only own ONE car, and it's what gets me to my job, so WHY would there necessarily be another car in the driveway?), plus who automatically goes to a back door of a house they've never been to, instead of knocking on the FRONT?

My wife said nothing more to him after hearing such ridiculous excuses (thinking there was something wrong with this guy -plus he later was irritated because he had to use the FRONT door when coming in and out, due to the back door being unusable)...which was never an issue for all the service people we had prior, and who KNEW their job and were very nice as well (re: there was NEVER ANY issues when these service people were here, like this owner NOW is fabricating). So my wife just waited for him to do the cleaning, and she even asked him if he wanted a cold drink or water, because it was so hot that day, and he had to be outside part of the time. That is 'hardly' the basis of  someone being 'unfriendly on multiple occasions', as you claim, (rather, from his actions, this is obviously a man who doesn't like his job).

She also told me, after he finally was done, that it appeared (re: being the 'only logical explanation' of his actions/comments) that you sent some newbie out this time round (instead of the regular guys we had before) because this one spent most of his time on the phone asking for advice, so this would also explain his apparent laziness to just want to immediately drive off, instead of even coming to the front door in the first place. I suggested she file a complaint about him to the company, and she declined and said that maybe he'd get his 'act' together for the next customer, so what good would complaining about it do anyway - he'd only deny it all (which I can see now by your canceling our service, is exactly what he did).  She told me she even thanked him when he left, which is something I certainly wouldn't have bothered doing, after his urgency to just drive off on her in the first place.

So if that is how you do business, by stressing out customers via sending out people who don't know what they are doing, who are in such a hurry to not want to do the job they were booked for, and who apparently aren't even happy with their job in the first place (instead of sending us the 'regular/educated' service guys who came before - they are the ones who don't just try to drive off' but instead take the time to read the posted sign(s) & use logic by going to the Front door ...not a person's Back door, which isn't even the norm when coming to someone's house, especially for the first time) ,  then we certainly don't want to 'give' you our business either, and we will certainly advise others to avoid your services at all cost
