Best Drain Cleaning in Kansas City MO
Called Gene's to replace the water heater in our new home. Kevin came at the time he said, and was extremely helpful and professional. After everything was installed, he talked me through what he did as well as answered questions and recommended maintenance schedule. The price was fair and the entire process was painless. We will definitely be using them in the future!

Follow-up review. After continuing service with them another four years we finally got the news we were anticipating for awhile. The central heating and air conditioning units that were in the house when we moved in before out 22 yr. old daughter was born were headed for replacement. Cheaper to do both at once and today was the day.
Cha-ching. That kind of equipment and installation is pricey. You know that, I know that.
Guys arrive at 7:30 a.m., are out of the house by 4:30 p.m. (my wife even made lunch for them) and everything installed including a walk-through to show us the new gear, and... wow, immediately, the heater is running less, running quieter, better moisture in the air. We're more comfortable, win-win. We are really happy. Installation looks like a million bucks and we are set for a long time now. Amazing how this company continues to really impress us.
Sure, go ahead and use Yelp to review that espresso shop for the 500th time. Never know when that might be critical, but a business like this and less than a handful off reviews? That's just sad. Take a good look at this one. These folks kill it with superior service.

This company is an absolute treasure.
My shower handle broke at 7:15 in the morning and wouldn't shut off (my house water shutoff also wasn't working). I called Stine-Nichols in a panic wondering if I'd be able to make it in to work today.
Not only did they respond and follow-up immediately, they had a plumber at my house within 30 minutes. He was friendly, efficient, and thorough with his work.
I absolutely recommend Stine-Nichols for anyone with a plumbing emergency - not only will they respond and repair quickly, but their rates are VERY reasonable and fair, and their employees are friendly and helpful as they could be!

To make a long story short, I hired Affordable Plumbing to do work on my home because the buyer's agent for our home sale wanted us to use them. They did the initial inspection and recommended the work that needed to be done. My wife and I hired them to do that work and here is where our trouble started. Matt, our technician, called me saying he was at an address 30 minutes away (obviously an office error) then accused me of doing something wrong. When he arrived at my house he apologized and got to work. When he finished, he told me my sewer line had been cleaned and that he had confirmed it with a video scope. Our buyer needed a recording of the video scope, which we did not receive from Affordable plumbing, so they hired them again to come out and rescope. This time the technician, Jeff, said that the lines were not only not clean but hadn't even been cleared of major obstructions. He could not even get to the main sewer pipe. When I called to ask about receiving a refund, Kim, the office manager, was extremely professional but (after several conversations) said that her boss was unwilling to give us a full refund. I insisted on a full refund because they did not do the work we hired them to do. Instead of speaking with me, the owner, Rick, called my wife. He was rude, condescending, and unprofessional. He also decided that he would not give us any refund at all. We have filed a complaint with the better business bureau and hope that this review will help any others out there choose a company that has the dignity to do the right thing when their work is unsatisfactory.

Called on a Saturday after we discovered frost had burst an outside faucet and it was leaking into the basement. Rising Son arrived promptly, when most other plumbers in town were closed for the weekend. He worked around a messy unfinished basement area to quickly diagnose the problem and did fairly substantial work very quickly to fix it. The work was very reasonably priced and thorough; he even made some observations about some small improvements we needed to make the sump pump work better and did the work for free on the spot. Extremely happy with their service.

Josh was a fantastic serviceman and showed attention to detail, cleaning up beyond our expectations after clearing our clogged (and disgusting) kitchen sink drain. We couldn't be happier with the service we received. Thank You!!

First time with Anthony... called today with an upstairs bath entirely backed up and draining into the first floor. Called at 3:29 and they showed up at 4:15. Put on their booties and followed me upstairs. Within 2-3 minutes Darin diagnosed the issue and gave me a quote for the work to fix. I signed their electronic form and within the hour I had a fully functioning bathroom (toilet, shower, and sinks). Bathroom was a mess when they got there and was clean when they left. Before they left my receipt was in my email. They were personable, professional and efficient. Will call them again and will consider their monthly plans.

I called A1 to fix a back up with my main drain. They came out quickly and it felt like it was going to be a good experience. They said they fixed it, I paid more than I have in the past, but for the weekend it seemed fair. Well less than 2 hours later I did a load of laundry and my drain was backing up into my basement once again. I went to my garage and the plug for the main drain was down 3 ft into the drain, unable for me to get, and my drain open for whatever debris to fly into. I was extremely frustrated but I re grouped called A1 back for them to redeem themselves. The woman who answered the phone was short and rude, I was trying to be forgiving and just ask if they could send someone back today to look at it again and retrieve the drain plug. She said we will see. I waited 90 minutes and called them back again, she was even ruder and said it may not be today. So now I have a back up in my basement and no drain plug. Still waiting because I don't want to start over paying with a new plumber, but if it goes on longer I will go back to my old faithful plumber.

This company appears to be a call service that dispatch work to different subcontractors. They will not give you an idea about the cost associated with their service unless technician shows up at your door. This is exactly what happened to me. The estimate was 2-3X what a normal charge would be for drain cleaning. I told him no thanks. What a waste of my time and his gas. $500 for a mainline cleaning from a clean out? I am not that desperate for your service. Thank you. Save your time and find someone more reasonable.

This was a tough project with many obstacles, but the True Blue Plumbing team got it done. Our rental is older, other things had been built around the old water heater throughout the years, so it was difficult to get it out. On top of that, the main gas valve outside was rusty and got stuck, so I had to call KS Gas Service to come out to replace it. It took 2 appointments to get the new water heater installed - no faults of the plumbing team. Kuddos to Travis and Michael for their efforts. And they kept me informed of what was going on throughout the whole process. Highly recommend the True Blue Plumbing company!

This is a long read, but if you are considering using R-Mech for HVAC or water heater installation I would read this before moving forward. My wife and I own 2 rental properties and 1 main residence. Last summer we decided to replace all three HVAC and water heaters for our homes.
For 2 of the homes, on the day of the install no water heater was brought for install. This caused me to need to schedule a secondary date and time for us to be at the rental property for a secondary install date. Which was difficult on us and our renter that was in the home at the time. The other water heater that did not get scheduled was at our primary home. This caused even more frustration because they disconnected our old water heater while installing the HVAC system and the old water heater did not work when they were finished. Since they did not bring out a new water heater that day for install, we went without hot water for 2 days, as we waited for their team to come back out to install the new water heater.
Additionally, for both of those homes we requested new thermostats be installed. For the rental property, no thermostat was brought out the day of install, so we had to have one brought out another day and time. Again, inconvenience for ourselves and our renter. Unbelievably, for our primary residence they didn't have a thermostat on the work order at all, but luckily the technician had on in his truck, so no delay on install occurred, but the lack of attention to detail and the disorganization of these installs was starting to cause me massive concern on how well these units were being installed.
Unfortunately, my frustration was not over. After the team left our primary home for the HVAC install, we noticed that the house was not cooling, and the furnace was not producing heat when called for. After 24 hours and 2 different technicians coming out, it was finally discovered that the AC unit was not properly set up, which was causing the AC to not cool, and the worst mistake of all was that the power and gas had not been turned back on for the Heater, which is why it was not producing heat when called for.
After all of the above happened, we had several conversations with R-mech management and installation managers, and outside of an apology, little was done to compensate us for our time, energy, and frustration during all of these situations.
If all of that wasn't enough to scare you. R-mech called us last week to schedule a routine check of the unit at our primary home. Against my best judgement, I scheduled that with them and allowed a tech to come into my home. He was here yesterday. The unit was working fine when he arrived. However, I woke up this morning and our home was 60 degrees, and the heater was showing an error message on the thermostat, stating that heat was not being produced when called for. I called R-mech and Justin Munsterman (R-mech's Operations Manager) called me back after I requested to speak to ownership. He proceeded to tell me how great their reviews are and that they have had issues with Lemon HVAC systems in the last year, and he can't believe his technician is the reason for my system not returning heat. Obviously, I had a few choice words for him as his comments were stupid and didn't make sense based on the situation. My heater worked before his tech arrived, it didn't work when he left. Seems pretty cut and dry, but he didn't seem to feel that way and provided horrible customer service. Luckily, R-mech sent out another tech to check what was going on, and it was discovered that the original tech that did the routine check had forgot to reconnect our air intake sensor, and the unit would not turn on because of the safety switch that was triggered, thus proving that it was the original techs fault the system was not operating, just as I suspected.
I highly recommend you look for another place to do business. This has been a nightmare. They will never step foot in any of my homes again, even for a routine check-up.

I am truly sad to leave a poor review for Taylor Plimbing. Cheryl, Jason, and Justin are all really great people. They get 5 stars for who they are/customer service. They replaced a toilet for me that has zero issues and Justin went out of his way to tighten the nut on my water main. For that I am grateful.
On to the bad part. I had Jason and Justin finish a tub and wall surround for me. It was initally took out as our showers are back to back and the valve broke in the wall. The person who was helping us went MIA after installing pex piping and fixing the floor.
The first day they came to do the job they were terribly sick. Should not have been out on a call. I think the cold medicine caused their reasoning to be off as they drilled the wrong wall of my surround, which was also put in upside down. They did replace this at their cost.
The second time they came back and finished, everything appeared to be ok. The alignment was a bit off, but they assured me with caulking it would be fine. As soon as I went to take a bath the stopper did not work.
Justin came back a fe we days later to fix the stopper. Cheryl called to check how it was. I told her the stopper worked, but the tub had cracked (I think due to over tightening). She recommended I call the warranty on the tub instead of possibly taking responsibility. I understand as they probably lost money on my job after needing to purchase a new surround.
Im going to include photos and video (if yelp allows) to demonstrate my issues. This tub was installed October 2018 and it is now February 2019. The surround is not supported and moves causing the caulk to crack. I did not know water was getting into the caulk and exiting the side of the tub. Now the floor has more water damage and moves when I step near the edge. I am going to need to tear everything out to fix the floor again.

I tried to make an appointment online which did not work. I ended up calling them instead they are very professional. I told them specifically what was wrong. They sent out a technician who did not have the part nor did they have the expertise to do the job. To just go get the part is $75 and labor was going to be $350. It did not sound reasonable to me.
I took a peek at their price list. Outrageous!! I will never contact them again, ever.
The only saving grace, they were on time, even on a snowy afternoon and they did not charge me anything.

The business is posted twice with slightly different names, but it's still the same crooked business.
Jay no longer works the field, he only handles the business side, leaving his less than reputable wife, and her mentally challenged son to destroy anything left of the reputation that Jays pluming had.
I hired them to replace my main water line, they were running average of all the bids. They guaranteed that I would be satisfied with their service and were very professional.... That's a lie!!!
One of the crew propped open the truck door and urinated in my driveway! I have a 15 year old girl that lives across the street and several girls behind us! Let alone, it was in my driveway!!!
Their best employee was bidding out work on my house, for off the clock extra work. Their manager, Jays step son, threw his trash out in my yard, and when I said something his response was it'll get buried when we fill the hole! Not the point!
They filled the gap where the new line comes into the house with window caulking instead of seam sealer or plumbers putty, they didn't reconnect my ground rod to my electrical panel and left me with deplorable excavating! My meter well is 6-8 inches below grade and I had a super high hump in my yard because they didn't finish!
Then Jays wife came to my house and demanded to be paid! Hey finish the job first! Let alone they broke the law and didn't seed the raw dirt that law required!
Stay away from them!
This is a terrible company
