Earl is an absolute professional.  He replaced our water heater efficiently and under budget.

Called on a Saturday after we discovered frost had burst an outside faucet and it was leaking into the basement. Rising Son arrived promptly, when most other plumbers in town were closed for the weekend. He worked around a messy unfinished basement area to quickly diagnose the problem and did fairly substantial work very quickly to fix it. The work was very reasonably priced and thorough; he even made some observations about some small improvements we needed to make the sump pump work better and did the work for free on the spot. Extremely happy with their service.

I am still having to live with the issues leftover from our experience with Rising Son. I heard from friends that he was amazing but they didn't need work done to the magnitude we needed. We recelived a quote but needed it in writing for the bank; took days and multiple calls/emails to receive. Then he accidentally heard what we were pulling in loan from the bank and the quote went up $2000. I called him out on it and it came back down.
Then the other naive part of me: I didn't get an itemized quote.
Erl and team came and dug a 13 ft x 2 ft trench... oops wrong place. Dug another 13 x 2ft trench. Left cement EVERYWHERE. But we're going to clean up after the did the job tomorrow. Fine.
Next day: dig day. half way through the day a separate crew to come save the job. And they were pissed.
Lets get to the end--too many details of crap through the day. Erl said they did as much as they were going to do. Done.
What Was not done: He didn't pull a permit. Our basement was never filled; never cleaned. Our fence destroyed, not fixed. Our yard destroyed-- he did eventually come grade it when the city made him.

I've now paid to fix my fence, fill the basement but guess what happened this week? The exact same major leak in my basement that started this horrible experience. 6 months later.

Maybe he can put in a garbage disposal but I would never trust him to do anything of this size.

And learn from my mistake. Get an itemized quote.

I would highly recommend Earl and Rising Son Plumbing to anyone.  They are quick to respond and they do a super good job at a reasonable price.  I had a huge job and they made sure that they finished the same day they started, even though they had to stay late.  Thanks Earl.

We are new to the area and we needed a plumber this morning.  We called Earl at Rising Son Plumbing.  He promptly answered the phone and our issue was fixed before noon.   Prompt, professional, and reasonable service.  Highly recommend.

Had an appointment set up for 10am on a Friday. Nobody showed up, but I figured I would give it until noon to call their office to see what the hold up was. When I got a hold of their office, I was told there had been a miscommunication on their end, and each plumber thought someone else was coming to our house. They were very sorry, and said someone would be there in another 45 mins to an hour. Well, I waited another 2 hours, and still nobody showed up or even called. It all was pretty unprofessional. I ended up googling and fixing my plumbing problem myself. At least I saved the money...but definitely calling a different plumber next time.

Had two new toilets installed and they installed the wrong size which we would have settled for had they finished the job. A year later and job was still never finished and after several no shows on his part we gave up and hired someone else to redo the whole job. Will never hire him for another job completely unprofessional to leave us hanging like that having us believe he intends to finish when he had no intention of ever coming back. Blue duck always does a great job go with them!

After being told they would be there later in the afternoon, there was no call no show, REALLY?!!  Not even a call.  Don't waste your time on this company!

I called Rising Son after seeing they did remodeling work. Needed some plumbing lines relocated about 6 for a walk-lin shower remodel. Needed that and a new pan installed.

Two guys came out to do the quote. The owner, Earl's son and another guy named Adam. They looked at the job and gave me a quote to do the work. They guys were young, but seemed to know what they were doing. I told them I would call when the pan came in and get the work done.

While waiting, we had a water heater issue that I called them to correct. Adam came out and did a great job. At the end, Earl showed up. WOW... one of the most unprofessional people I have met. I felt he spent most of the time undercutting what Adam did, even though the job was sound. While there, they guys set up a time to come out the following Tuesday (a few days later) to do the other work we needed, since the pan had arrived. They both said they had nothing on the calendar that day, and Earl was standing there during the conversation.

Tuesday came and they were a no show. Texted them on the number Adam texted me from before.   Earl responded and basically acted as though he had no idea the other guys set the appt and threw them under the bus. This seems to be a theme on other reviews - especially the most recent!

Turns out Earl was unhappy with the price the two guys had quoted and in my opinion, had no intention of doing the job. Rather than be honest and ask if there was something we could work out, he evaded and put off the job again and again. I guess hoping I would go away. Kept saying things like, I am going to stand behind what my guys agreed to.

I did get someone else to do the job, but Earl and his unprofessionalism cost us weeks.

Turns out Adam and Earl's son are 18 year olds. Makes me a little sad that they are learning under someone who would rather alienate customers than keep his word. Learning that way to run a business will not bode well for their future. Currently I would still say those two are good guys.

My recommendation is to stay far far away from Rising Son Plumbing, and the owner Earl. There are too many choices out there to deal with someone this unprofessional. In business your word is important and character counts.

These folks may do a fine job  of actual plumbing, but we never found out.  They will not make an appointment over the phone - you have to go through their website.  Two days later you get a cryptic email that makes no sense, after emailing back & forth they say they will be here today.  They never showed up.  We found someone else.

Rising Son provided very  professional service. I called and received same day service for an outdoor leaking faucet that I had tried to self repair without success. He provided a reasonable bid up front and had the job completed in a little over an hour. I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again if I need a plumber.

I want to highly recommend Earl and Rising Son Plumbing!  We waited 5 days for our normal plumber to call back and finally called RSP. Earl is the most professional and nicest person. He came out the same day and fixed all problems done by the previous plumber. Very reasonable as well. Earl is also a master plumber.

I hired Rising Son to do multiple  jobs.

Earl himself did the big job (which required shutting off the water at the meter) and replacing the 80-year old shutoff valve with a modern 1/4 turn type valve, which was something I'd been meaning to do for years.

His apprentice plumbers did the small job under the kitchen sink.

When I called Earl the next day to point out that some adjustments needed to be made to the work under the kitchen sink, he sent a crew out quickly and the job got done right.

I used Rising Son Plumbing for a commercial job, and they did a great job.  On time everyday, worked hard everyday, and came in on bid.  Earl, the owner, keeps close eye on his guys so even when he was not there the job is done very professionally.  

I would most certainly use them again in the future, and recommend you give them a try as well.  You will not be disappointed.

Earl is my go-to plumber. He has installed a water heater, a toilet and shut-offs for my laundry, replumbed my kitchen and snaked out the drains, always reasonably priced and with a smile (and even sometimes a song--he has a great voice).

Rising Son Plumbing (Earl Moise) is a master plumber with mad skills when it comes to plumbing!  We've a 100+ year old home which went bonkers plumbing wise from the toilets to pretty much anything involving water inside our home.  We chose to try EARL because friends had suggested him both in terms of his skills and also in terms of his charges.

Everything works now....everything now....no drips even!  EARL was easy to contact; easy to communicate with; and pleasant to deal/work with.  He made our home back into home such that the toilets flush easily; the dishwasher doesn't back up; the washing machine works flawlessly; even the outside hoses are perfect....not a drip to be found.  Two days and we end up with practically a new house.......We should have listened  to our friends a couple of years ago.  Topping  it all off, EARL is a more than friendly man who will explain to you why he he is doing something and why it's his view the best way to do it.  EVERYTHING he did works perfectly in our older home.  We're so glad we found EARL.  The bill does not break the bank account either!  

If you're looking at plumbing work that is more than just a leaky faucet, RISING SON PLUMBING has got to be on your list for an interview.
