Best Air Duct Repair in Austin TX
After 5 years, our AC quit cooling on a Friday afternoon. Called Stan's and Chris arrived early on Saturday. We know him because he does our semi-annual service for the HVAC. It was a bad capacitor. Fortunately, he had an American made capacitor with him. Problem resolved in under 20 minutes. Parts were under warranty and labor was discounted because of service contract. We will see Chris again in a few months to inspect the heater.
Chris is a credit to any organization fortunate to have him as an associate.

Rick and Jamal came out to inspect a water leak inside we suspected was AC-related. They quickly determined the AC wasn't causing the problem, and didn't charge us for their time. We continue to have positive experiences with Honest AC!

I want to change my earlier review of Daniel Plumbing and Air-conditioning. The manager admitted the job was not done correctly and they came back the next day after reviewing the work the plumber did on the water heater installation. The technicians changed all the old connections and added a thermal evaporator pump bring everything up to Austin code. I was also given a 15% refund for my trouble and aggravation. I'm satisfied now even though it was a cost I was not prepared for. Thank you Mack for your helping get the job done right and doing right by me.

My furnace/ac unit was over 16 years old and in desperate need of replacement. I called Fox and the entire process was a breeze. I placed my initial request online and received a call the very next morning. The project manager came out and was very nice and professional. He explained all my options clearly so that I fully understood what I needed so I could make an informed decision that was right for me and my home. The technicians that did the work arrived on time, were very courteous and respectful of me and my home. They worked quietly and efficiently and the whole job was done in less than 6 hours. I am very pleased with my decision to choose Fox and have recommended them to friends.

If the worker does not see that you are home he will not call you and let you know, rather he will just clock out of the job and go on his way. I would not recommend this service to people who actually need pest control jobs completed. If you like wasting your time and money ABC is the perfect service for you.

There is not word to describe how good they are, I called an they made room for me, in 20 mn they were in my house. nice, friendly, professional and customer service oriented. they prices very reasonable the young guy who came went above and beyond to get everything resolved. They troubleshoot and cleaned the grinder outside of the house in not time. they will have my business for ever.

I had a straight forward installation of a mini split art cool gallery AC system into my second floor dedicated theater - these guys showed up exactly when they said they would, actually even minutes before then, and were already calling me to confirm if there was a misunderstanding (as I was still about 3 minutes away from home). They were able to help me get my electrical needs handled, work with me on location of both the indoor and outdoor unit, answer every question I had, and even cut out the mfg labels from the boxes for me without asking. Very good communication, very professional and very efficient. Whole process was about 3.5 hours, and the cost was exactly what I'd expected. I would use these guys again and I highly recommend them.

Swindlers! Get a second quote on anything they do. They upsold me on products I didn't need and overcharged for them. They lied about my home being out of code and used fear tactics about the safety of my family. Shame on me for being fooled.

Great customer service, but outlandishly over-priced services. I fully understand marking up material costs. What I don't understand is the amount by which they do so.
Their pricing is also dishonest. They charged me as if they came out twice to do two of the same simple repairs simultaneously. This only became apparent once I grilled them on pricing. If you're bored and have time on your hands, just try to get them to give you actual line items of the prices for the services you've just received. What you may find is that while all those brand new trucks, slick tablets/iPads, shoe slippers, and fresh uniforms look professional, and while their service people are professional and reliable, you're paying for ALL of it and then some.
For pricing and pricing dishonesty reasons, I've discontinued all services with Radiant for more than a year. When I initially reached out to them to share these concerns, their customer service manager had recently quit or been fired (perhaps over-loaded?), so I waited a long time to hear back from them to give my feedback. They also refused my speaking with the owner as a business owner to a business owner because they are so busy. (Aren't we all...). Because I was so adamantly opposed to their pricing, I gave up on phone tag and never used Radiant again.
Also, for giggles, get the exact specs on the device or item that they are installing, and do your own research on the base material cost. Then look at what they are charging you on the three options they give you on that slick new tablet.
Lastly, and while it is my fault for giving them as much business as I did, which I imagine is due to being a busy professional and appreciating the fact that they do do what they say they will, just last week I found yet another way in which I had overpaid them. In Brentwood we had had sediment buildup in our faucets. Radiant gave us two alternatives. One involved extensive plumbing and the other option was a device that they install onto the main water line that causes a vibration in the water line, thus loosening deposited sediment - in theory. This divorce cost somewhere between three and $5000 and with cheaper than the other option. (I could pull up an exact receipt.) We were advised that it may take up to a year for the deposit and settlement to be shaken loose and thus see the expected results. Well over a year later we began to have water pressure problems and almost called out a plumber to investigate whether tree roots had burst a waterline outside of our home. Lo and behold, it was just sediment buildup in the filters of our faucets. The string of reminders of the money I've wasted on Radiant Plumbing, never mind that each time I encountered smiling, happy, and often attractive faces who were very professional, just never seems to end.
Summary: unless you are a millionaire or billionaire who literally has money to burn and doesn't want to think about getting honestly priced services for your money, and unless you feel that you really need beautifully coiffed people in new trucks to come do a very hands-on job, then save yourself significant money and post on Nextdoor or review yelp and select for not the company that makes you feel good, but the one that doesn't rob your wallet. That said, I can't say a bad word about their service people. They are kind, professional, and knowledgeable, but at the end of the day that doesn't matter and one needs a fair price for a service rendered.

The tech told me what was wrong & didn't even look at th hot water heater & told me it was a $260 fix. I went downstairs to get my phone to call my husband & found the tech had opened my bedroom door and was looking in it. He hadn't heard me come back upstairs. When confronted, he admitted & said he was being nosey. He was asked 3 times to leave before finally getting him out of here. The company owner & this tech are best friends so our complaint call was met with little concern. There will be no repercussions for this man's privacy violation. Stay clear, folks! Find another plumber, any plumber.

For a company who prices themselves on top notch service I have had TWO terrible interactions with them. Shame on me for assuming giving them a second chance was a wise decision.
First, about a year ago they came to my home to do a AC tune up. I had a long call to get the appointment set up where I was told the technician would wear boot overs, bring a ladder (as I shared it was needed) and other information. The technician showed up without a ladder, ate dinner on my patio (which was fine) BUT left his garbage including food wrappers and a root beer glass bottle along with paperwork, a chemical cleaner and sticker wrappers. Once inside, he asked to use my ladder which is too large to go upstairs. I told him this and he insisted on trying, scratching my freshly painted walls. Then when he realized the ladder was too large, he used my step stool and attempted to JUMP into my attic. I offered nicely and politely to reschedule my appointment countless times, which he declined. Due to jumping against my walls, he caused the bathroom mirror to fall and break into a huge mess. When it was all said I done, I was left with mud on my floors, my AC not serviced, a ladder and step stool to put away on my own, glass to clean up and his dinner mess to clean up. I left a review on the company vowing to never use them only to be bribed with gift cards, promises they would come rehang a bathroom mirror (never did) and free service for 2 years to give them another chance....I did....well that was a mistake....
I sold stocks at a bad time after I signed a contract to have them add 12 inches on attic insulation which they pressured me to do ASAP. I clear my schedule, take off work, sold stocks, and was prepared for the appointment only to have them cancel 24 hours before the appointment. I took a loss with the stocks and now will need to take another day off a work...
They spam call non stop to move appointments, to add sales calls with a lot of pressure, to follow up on appointments and to cancel appointments. No joke in 1 week I had 13 calls from them.
I do NOT recommend this company. Disorganized, untrained, unprofessional, and wildly expensive. They justify their prices by priding themselves on their customer service, but I can say with 100% certainly, they are one of the worst companies in Austin Texas.
Update: Michael comments below but I have NOT heard from the branch manager. Yelp doesn't let you message people or reply to comments. So Michael, I can't directly reply to you other than sharing the Austin Branch did NOT reach out to me like you said they would. Honestly, not surprised. The Austin office is a total mess. Customer service they preach....is maybe they worst I have ever experienced.

Spent 15 minutes replacing a $25 part and when I received the invoice in large letters it said no warranty or guarantee! What kind of business doesn't guarantee their work at least for 30 days?!

My aircondtioning was leaking water. They sent out a technician who looked at the unite and showed me pictures of a frozen up coil due to no freon in my closed system. He could not repair it. He wrote up and estimate from bandaid fix to replacing the coil. All in thousands of dollars. he was not equipped to repair it and in a couple of days the repairman would come to braise the coil and look for leaks. No warranty!! He also said a maintenance program was required and they would come service the unit(s) twice a year0 . He asked me to sign a document that said they had completed the repair and it had yet been done. He collected in the excess of 2000 for the coil repair and maintenace program. This was Logan
The repair crew came, they knew nothing about the coil, they found a leak by the king valves and replaced them. No coil braising etc.
My second unit, a minisplit , was serviced by the technician for the warranty plan. he said the fins were dirty and needed to be cleaned but he only was paid 35.00 and was not going to do the work for that amount.
That same technician then performed maintanance on my HVAC unit. he tells me the coil is frozen over, the freon is gone, the unit is in need of major repair and presents me with three options, one bandaid around 1000 a second repair and the third for near new unit at 3600 plus. I wrote the company of the above and asked to terminate my maintenance contract on two units which had and inspection and to refund me for 1/2 the contract on both those units and 100% of the unused contract on the other unit. I also asked them to address the above. They did not respond and kept my 2000+ dollar.
Truly their maintenance' is a ruse to present thousands of dollars on needed repair. BEWARE, STAY AWAY, REPORT!!!!
AND I am a veteran and this is their service
