The team at Lykos was wonderful. They were professional, considerate, safety conscious, reliable and did great work. Martin was honest, straightforward and easy to work with.

Provided feedback and owner responded and essentially dismissed everything I had to say. Here is his message along with my response:
Owner:
I was made aware that you took issue with work that we recently performed for you. It is my understanding that you took issue with the following:
-The motion sensor that was installed for your bedroom lights was meant to be installed for your bathroom lights
-The Nest security camera that we installed for you resulted in a bush in your back yard sustaining some minor damage.
I have spoken with the technician who did the installation and my estimator that priced this work for you. I have also reviewed the invoice. The invoice clearly states that the motion sensor was to be installed in your bedroom and you signed for the completed work. This would indicate that you were satisfied with the installation and the location / function of the motion sensor. Furthermore, the technician says that he advised you not to install the motion sensor in your bedroom. If you would like us to move the motion sensor to another location, that can be done, but at an additional cost.
After speaking with both my estimator and installing technician, we will not compensate you for damage to a bush. Your vegetation in the backyard is overgrown and both of my employees advised you that there may be some minor damage to the vegetation because of where you wanted us to mount the cameras. You indicated that would not be a problem and asked us to proceed. Again, your signature on the invoice and payment would indicate that you were satisfied with the work performed.
My response to above message:
I was NOT informed that there would be damage to my plants (see pics below) and was only informed after-the-fact, once I approached installer in the backyard during installation.
As for the bedroom light, also not correct. I directed the installer to install motion detector device in bathroom. He informed that he couldn't. At that point is when I directed to install in bedroom.
You're right, the signature represents my sign off on work performed. However, it doesn't always characterize the context of the situation. If you choose not to redress, that's fine - I'll simply share my perspective /experience in the appropriate area.
To be clear, the installer was very courteous and professional. However, soft skills doesn't always align with technical competence.
Not a five star service.

After a length phone conversation about the cost I did not get any satisfactory reason why they added so many extra charges on a part they just left behind.

I am shopping for a new H/VAC system, which reminded me to write this review about the work they did for me several months back. I will not be using Efficient for any future work on my H/VAC and here's why: Back in August, my A/C was working and not working (i.e,, coming on sometimes, but not always). I called Efficient and they sent a nice tech out to diagnose the problem. He diagnosed it as a low performing capacitor. Replaced it at a cost of $260. The unit cut on after he replaced it so I figured he knew what he was talking about. Later in the day though, the same problem occurred. I called Efficient and they sent the tech out next morning. This time he told me it was the motor. Cost: 600+!!! Well, it's August, I'm boiling, I stupidly fell for it. The unit worked okay for about a week and then the same problem presented again! Same exact problem - sometimes cutting on; sometimes not. I started doing some research online and everything I looked at suggested the problem might be the relay switch. But who was I to tell that to a professional? LOL Efficient sent out a tech who diagnosed.....what else but a broken relay switch. He replaced that and to Efficient's credit, at no charge. (Had they charged me for it, they would have received a one star review). So turns out the relay switch was the problem and the A/C worked fine from that point on. However, I ended up spending way more than I should have (i.e., almost $1000). The relay switch, if it had been properly diagnosed in the first place, would have cost much less. That's why we call professionals --- to properly diagnose and fix a problem, not to just keep replacing things until something works.

While they were super friendly and efficient in coming out and giving an estimate for a water heater installation, their quote was just astronomical compared to the other companies we spoke to.

We needed an electrician to perform a diagnostic service on a line fault. After agreeing to a $72 service call, a person was sent out to do a 30-point inspection and an upsell on GFCI plugs, surge protectors and the like and did not perform any serious diagnostic services. Diagnostics would be an additional $750 (it appears the salespersons/electricians have a list of prices, you'll get quoted options with upsell in your proposal for service. (I pity elderly folk who might get suckered into buying lengthy service plans etc, when they just need a repair done). Of course, there was no one back at the home office to hear my complaint that I paid $79 for an at home sales call. Though I did receive a 'complimentary' refund of my $79, I'm so disappointed that I would be suckered into such a time suck. Im also going to be far more careful about going with Google reviews. Clearly something here is amiss. (But if this sounds like a five star experience to you, then this is the electrical service to go with.)

Apex electric has completed three jobs at my house. One was an emergency breaker job late at night, a Tesla charger in my garage and two outlet issues. All the jobs were completed fast and at a great price. I highly recommend Apex.

Here we are with NO A/C working, try calling Jon Wayne for emergency service and no luck.
Monthly paying for a service plan, and being a customer a few years, and getting a unit that is approximately 2 years since we bought it from them, but not able to receive emergency service. Really, NO EMERGENCY SERVICE, specially in Texas weather? I guess that is good to take people's hard earn money, but difficult to receive service when you need it.
