Best company for plumbing heating and air. They are not your cheap mom and pop shop that will ghost you for their warranties. They are the Nordstrom of trades. If you like to shop 99c Home Depot contractors, these guys are not for you. High quality and great customer service comes at a price.

We have used Crandall's Plumbing and HVAC 3 times. First time they repaired our water heater, 2nd time they worked on our HVAC, and now they hydro-jetted our drain that goes from our backyard to the street drain.  Just in time before a rain storm. Every encounter with Crandall's, including booking the appointment, has been a great experience.  Everyone has been knowledgeable, friendly, quick to respond and followed COVID precautions. Every time they have met or exceeded our expectations!

I needed my 30 year old, mismatched Furnace/AC system replaced. I interviewed 3 great installers so it was hard to choose but Mike made me feel the most confident that they would listen to my wishes and do a high quality job. I take a lot of pride in my home so have very high standards about the quality and appearance of the things put into it. I was given 4 different units at different price levels to choose from. Krystal was very helpful in answering my questions and very responsive.  

Eric and Jose did an amazing install. I had them move the condenser to a different part of my yard and it looks great. They were ontime to the install, did fast work, were always open and inviting about my MANY questions and requests and left the work site cleaner than they found it.

Orange Coast Plumbing was able to dispatch a repair technician on the same day I called.  They sent an email with the technician's name and photo.  Jon performed a thorough inspection of our system and reset those settings that were out.  I highly recommend Orange Coast plumbing for all heating, air conditioning and plumbing needs. Our downstairs toilet started to leak from the bottom of our tank and we couldn't figure out where the leak was coming from. So we called Coast Plumbing. They were able to send out a plumber within a hour.  The plumber showed up and he was very clean looking in his uniform and very personable. I would highly recommend Derek W. He was very professional and was very knowledgeable about his job. He was able to identify the problem (the fill valve) and fix it accordingly. He was very neat and clean as he performed his tasks. He was awesome. I would highly recommend him for any plumbing issues. He is the best!!!

These guys have been our go-to plumbers for two generations. They are professional and courteous.

My brand new dishwasher was not draining at all, the Biard & Crockett Plumber investigated and discovered that during install this little plug inside the interior part of the garbage disposal had not been removed to allow the dishwasher to drain properly. Goodness, that was fixed in a jiffy. Then I shared with the Biard & Crockett plumber, my water heater probably needs replacing because I'm not getting any hot water. Again this honest plumber said, Ma'am, the temperature thermostrat somehow got turned down to low, so he simply turned it back up to high. And of course, now I have hot water. Much appreciation goes out to Biard & Crockett for an Honest days work.

Of course, it's 94 degrees in Irvine and our AC goes out.  I called numerous companies and it was a day or two before anyone could come out.  I went on Yelp and Positive Plumbing, Heating & Air Contractor came up immediately.  I called Alex and he was at our house within less than an hour.  We need to have our a/c condenser replaced, but he was able to fix it until Wednesday when he will comes back to give a new condenser.  I would highly recommend Alex and his company to any of my friends.   Thank you, Alex.  See

We were initially pretty impressed with NexGen. When our central air went out and our home warranty couldn't get someone out, NexGen sent someone within a few hours.

The repairmen told us they'd go on the roof to check out the problem and then let us know what was going on. Instead, they came down half an hour later and told us they'd fixed it, charging $300 for two small parts. We were a little peeved that they didn't ask us before doing the work, but since our air was back on, we got over it. They also told us our unit was VERY old and needed to be replaced (true), and that they'd send over a quote.

A few hours later, the air started running hot. In the morning, they sent over a quote for $13k (outrageous for a white labeled Amana 2 ton unit) and sales wouldn't give us a price breakdown justifying the cost and basically admitted he was price gauging us because of the AC shortage. I sent NexGen's proposal with the price and company name removed to another HVAC company, who said we could do this for $10k, which is probably HIGHER than the quote you have since they're giving you a lower quality machine and a worse warranty

NexGen did offer to have someone come back out to look at our existing unit free of charge, but we didn't really trust them at this point. We ended up finding someone to do the replacement for significantly cheaper than either of those bids, with a better unit and better customer service.

Do not waste your money or time with these guys unless you're absolutely desperate and are willing to needlessly pay a premium for lower quality products.

I won't call or refer them for any future estimates.  Extremely high priced compared to other plumbing companies and dishonest communication.  I'll leave it at that.

Had toilet leak from 2nd floor to down stairs. Figured it was Wax Seal but wanted to make sure it wasn't more than that. Service person came in time and started working on it after confirming it was that. Price looked a little steep but I figured I already paid through diagnostic charge after 30 second free assessment. Well in middle of work, I was notified of scope increase by about $400 for having to work on flange. Which sounded a little too much (maybe someone in business can let me know if I am wrong other than from BHI...)
So the repair is done and Voila! No leak after a little over $600. I figure I got charged about $125 an hour. (oh, I know how much the parts cost on this... practically insignificant).
Over all, it was not a bad experience until... yup... when there is problem.
Fast forward a day, and as I walk on down stairs... I get drip on my head. Different location from where water leak was. I go up to figure out what is going on to find that bathroom is semi flooded which is the cause of new leak. I try to find where the leak is coming from and it is leaking from the water tank of toilet. Upon opening I see basically water slowly over filling and leaking out through handle. Upon closer inspection I see that the float was rotated in such manner that it barely touched wall where it got stuck at one point. I remedy the situation by rotating float so it won't touch the wall ever. I am pretty confident this happened when the service person was reconnecting toilet after repairs probably putting more torque than necessary.
So, I just got service person show up and talked to him in turn which he talked to manager. First answer, $250 to replace valve and also water line valve. Excuse me? That was not the problem with the flooding?!
I basically tell him that I am not interested and get him going and the manager calls. Saying he will replace valve for free and would like to replace water line valve for charge to do me right. I tell him the real issue here is water leak caused by this damage. Which he ignores and puts blame on perfectly fine valve (Yup of course it has been working fine since I rotated it to where it should have been 2 days ago).
Good company is found when things goes wrong how they handle it. I will give it one extra star to make it 2, as they sounds professional if not owning up to what happened. Too bad I had to leave review like this when it could have easily been 5 star for doing something about actual problem not skirting around and trying to eek out more money from unhappy customer.

Very nice people. They put on booties over their shoes to keep your place clean. Johnathan explains things well. He inspected my heating system, but unfortunately I had to postpone my appointment due to unexpected circumstances. They are hvac people, so I'm sure they know what they're doing.

Hire this company and you'll see what it has all the 5-star ratings. Jesse was quick, did great work, and was fairly priced. My initial call was answered by a human (no press this...press that), the scheduling call came literally minutes later, with a price quote and arrival time. He was here when he said, did the job quickly, and everything was back to normal before we could get stressed about it all. Couldn't ask for more!!
