Best Water Heater Repair in Houston TX

Never actually used them. Tried calling them  a couple days in a row (Thursday and Friday), and didn't get a call back until Monday. So not sure how their service is, but call back is what my review was based on.

They came Saturday because I had no hot water. They inspected and said it was a part to be replaced. Ended up not being that and needing a water heater. They sourced the water heater in a day and installed it. Austin kept me abreast of what was happening and was very thorough.

Great customer service and always seems to be available when I need them.  I called on a Thursday night and Gary walked me through draining the water heater and saving my house from unnecessary water problems.  He then came out Friday night to make sure I had cold water in the house.  Saturday morning the water heater was replaced.  This is one of many examples of great service.

The plumber was on time and was very knowledgeable about my concerns.  He did not try to force me to purchase something that was not needed but what about his work in a professional manner and explained every process that he was going to do.  He did not try to overcharge me but did excellent work and was done within 2 hours.  I'm very very happy with it and will continue to rely on their services in the future.

Hugo mounted 2 tvs, 2 curtains and 10 pictures . He was very responsive and reasonable with the pricing . He completed the job super fast and was very professional throughout the entire time . If I could I would give him 10

I've used Alex for multiple jobs at my business.  He has always been very competitively priced and done a great job- he finishes everything out and cleans up very well. I've had plumbers in the past who don't caulk or seal up work under the sink and he does. I had a recurring problem at my house where we only had hot water-no cold.  I've had multiple plumbers out.  One told me it was my shower valve leaking and I paid to replace it, but problem wasn't fixed.  Alex fixed it in one try, the hot water tank was installed incorrectly.

Great service! I had guests in from out of town and my toilet decided to back up! Crappy timing (pun intended).  So I filled out an online request form because it was after hours. I received a courteous call the next morning before 8am! The pleasant lady asked if I still needed service and that they had a slot open and they could send guys out immediately. They showed up promptly and diagnosed and fixed the problem in 30 minutes. They snaked the drain from the clean out located outside the house. The price was reasonable, $189, as far as plumbing rates go. The guys they sent were professional, quick, and thorough. I recommend Texas Best Plumbing, they have earned their high ratings!

Geo did great work. He didn't waste any time and fixed the problem with the front door.
He also replaced the garage light with an LED fixture that works perfectly.  We certainly recommend his services- thanks Geo!

I called EPW at 8:30pm, fully expecting to have to leave a message. Imagine my surprise when the phone was answered by a real person named Boy! He took my name, phone # and address along with a description of the problem. My original, 11 year-old disposal had finally started leaking really bad , and the bucket under the sink wasn't cutting it anymore. I had hesitated to call anyone because the last plumber at my house (who rooted out the kitchen drains) quoted me an exorbitant price to replace the disposal. Boy told me they could do an install for me and that I would get a call in the morning. He asked what time was best for me? I said anytime after 10 am.
Lee called around 11:30am and said it would be about an hour and sure enough, Lee and Jordan showed up on time. They took their shoes off at the door, my dog was happy to meet them, and they quickly installed the new garbage disposal that had been sitting in my garage for months, waiting for my nephew to install it.
I had called EPW based on the other reviews I read and I was not disappointed in any way.
These guys were on time, provided professional service, and charged a very reasonable price.

$480 quote from pictures sent; 30-minute service - main water valve repair. I had to call to schedule an appointment (even after using their chat feature). Guys walked up stating $480 repair without actually looking at the valve.
Also had to call to get a receipt 5 days later. The receipt had no breakdown of parts/services. Just quantity of 1 - $480
Work van said Senior and Vet Discounts... nothing listed on website.
I will shop around next time... my advice is you should do the same.

They were very nice, polite and professional and they arrived when they said they would.

They quoted me a total install price of $1250 for a water heater with a 6 year warranty (which is on the low end warranty wise). They said there would no issues at all because of the easy access.

I asked for a labor and parts breakdown and they said it was a flat rate.

The water heater and parts are less than $500 from Home Depot, so the install is $800 for a 3 hour job? Apparently I'm in the wrong business.....

I have used Alliance Plumbing in the past for a re-route and re-pipe so they were the FIRST people to call when I awoke to noises I determined were coming from my attic. I called Jean and she lined up Augustin Villa to come and diagnose the situation. Lucky for me it was only air that had somehow entered my line and was making one of my lines bang on the beams and framework! And he even showed me how to remedy myself if this was ever to happen again. While he was here I asked him some questions about my water heater purchased in 2008. He gave me a quote, and was able to install a new one right away and educated me on the unit. I am super pleased. They were able to get this delivered to Augustin while he did some prep work and he was fast, courteous and I didn't have to clean up a thing. I cannot say enough good things about Alliance! I hired GAP plumbing to do a whole house remodel. Just like on TV, we found an issue - cast iron pipes. GAP plumbing replaced all of our pipes including two sewer lines and mainline taps. The effort required considerable communication and organization with our contractor and the city inspectors. The GAP team kept me and my contractor informed of progress...all with a cheerful attitude. I double-checked their prices and found them to be fair. The prices were not the cheapest (red flag) but certainly not the most expensive. They did what they said they would do, when they promised to do it. What more can you ask for?

This company does not communicate and they give you quotes that are not required or even needed but can't call inspectors to come so that you can get your stuff fixed. They came first day and didn't complete the job. Had to come back a 2nd time and kept giving me different times. I hate this company I would never call them. I can't give zero stars.

Had a failure in a Lennox AC evaporator coil still under warranty (W
which has been the subject of a settled class action law suit). The system worked fine until this coil failed but apparently Lennox coins of this era always fail.  These guys told me I needed an entirely new AC unit and furnace, quoting 7,000 and 9,000 USD depending on which system I got.  They never told me about the warranty issue (and keep in mind that this is a Lennox dealer).  Second and third opinions from other companies was simply install a warranty replacement coil, total cost for labor under 900 USD.  So be very careful dealing with Abacus.  They will try to upsell you egregiously.
