We live in an old home and had a major flood coming from our bathroom. I called several businesses and S & A was the only business to get back to me in a timely manner. They were fast to come out and give me an estimate. Sam and his team were amazing!  They worked hard, fast, and efficiently. The team is professional and friendly and did A++++ quality work.   I really appreciate that they were in contact the entire time, letting me know what was going on the with the work process. They also returned all my calls and answered any questions I had (which were a lot). S & A are also very reasonably priced, and there were no surprise charges! You dont have to use a huge company to get great results.   I highly recommend this business and they have all my future business!  Thanks Sam and Team!

I called this guy years ago and he came out and cleared my sewer line with a water jet. Then he explained the cause of the clog. It was the flapper valve that prevents back flow into my sewer pipe from the sewer main. Since then I've had a couple more clogs and my neighbor had one that I unclogged myself with a grabber tool to pull the wads of toilet paper out. (I recommend an alligator claw type grabber). Not only is this guy honest and fair in his pricing, but he's helpful, like a good neighbor. I didn't post a review until now, because I just opened a yelp account.

I couldn't get ahold of anyone yesterday the 4th of July. I found this guy LV Rooter man on BackPage.com and within 40min. DAN was at my door step. He took care of my problem ASAP and didn't over charged for being a holiday. My guest were all amazed how quick he unclogged my kitchen drain.
Found my permanent plumber!

I dont even know were to start !!!! I am so impressed by this company and JOBAB , as I'm sure why we are all here My AC broke. It's literally Saturday night 9:00 pm and to top it off my family is in town . I called 10 other companies on yelp that claim they are open 24-7 not one responded.

He got my ac to temporarily work until I get my home warranty out on Monday. I am going to really try to get my home warranty to approve Alaskan to service the job because I was was impressed. 2 months ago when i bought the home
The ac broke my home warranty sent out a company and it was a nightmare so I will tell you I know what bad service is and Alaskan and Jabob is the opposite of bad service. Thank you guys my family is happy they dont have to be here in the heat

Can't say thanks enough! These guys went way above and beyond to help me in a desperate situation on a Sunday night around 9pm. Gary and Tyson were positively amazing. Brilliant and professional. I called about 15 24 hour plumbing companies. Everybody tried telling me they'd notify the tech and the tech would get back to me... then if by chance the tech did, he would say sorry we don't have anyone available until tomorrow morn.... I completely understand that nobody wants to work late on a Sunday night. At the same time tho, emergencies happen. These guys went out of their way to make it happen tonight and fix my plumbing issue. Price was reasonable as well. They are the only plumbing company I will call from here on out as long as I live in Vegas.

I called at 5am and got an answer and appt set up along with a few followups before 6am. Thats an amazing level of communication and I believe it was the actual owner talking to me.

This is the plumber you want on standby when sh** hits the fan.

There is NO better plumbing company in Clark County, period! I have used Adaven three times (major bath remodel/relocation, water heater install, full house plumbing refit) and they have been EXCELLENT each time!

We had the black pipe break from the street to the house. We called another plumber out and they were very rude and seemed high on the price to replace the line. I called WEB Pluming for a second opinion not sure what to expect. They were there in 45 minutes, gave us a better price without knowing what the first company was going to charge. They stayed at the house until 8:30pm, even in the rain to make sure we had water that night.
We were one of the homes that had the bad kitech fittings that had to be replaced. WEB saw they did the pressure control valve wrong and spent extra time to repair it as well.
This job was not an easy 1hour fix. They did an amazing job fixing our broken waterlines and our yard almost looks like they were not even there. They even fixed a broken irrigation line that was damaged but not by them. I will never call another plumber again, these people are amazing.

Good folks. Came same day and got my water heater replaced quickly. Even helped with a water pressure issue for no charge. The least I can do is pay it forward with a good review. Recommended!

Can't help but really LIKE these guys.  Nahinu came to our rescue to deal with a water heater leak.  He got us a water heater lickety split and set it up on a temp stand til the restoration company got the damage fixed.  Hey, best part is that he gave me some great advice about choosing the new unit and maintaining it against future damage.  Thanks Nahinu, Mana, and Rob!  (pssst - this is a full-service plumbing outfit.)

I thought that Active Plumbing did a fantastic job on my plumbing issues.  My water main broke and they came out quickly and gave me an estimate and got started right away. They even rigged up a line so that I had water while they replaced the main.  The price was $1900 cheaper than another estimate I received.
When the pressure fluctuations of the new system broke the sprinkler line, they came out almost immediately and fixed it as part of their 2 year guarantee!  
I cannot recommend them more highly.

I try to use FaceBook for only sharing good times and fun family photos but sometimes I just have to be a vigilante so others don't get screwed.  Especially in these economical times.  I called AMERICAN HOME SHIELD -- we have had problems with them but in general they have been more good than bad to us- for the most part.  occasionally they send a bad seed.  
Sweet little old Joe came over and installed a new water heater but then told me that I owe him $350 on top of the warranty co pay for a permit fee for the City of Henderson. I have been a homeowner for quite some time and that seemed a bit high so I called the city of Henderson myself to see what the permit fee actually costs for a water heater replacement.  The nice man at the City Hall office told me that the fee is actually only $41 and I could come down there myself today and it would probably take me 10 minutes to get the permit and I would be on my way and pay $41. When I called sweet little old Joe back to ask him where my credit card was and why he tried to up charge me to $350 when the permit only costs $41 , he told me that he was doing me a kind service. I'm not sure what kind service means to each person in this world but that does not feel Kind.  
I will go this afternoon and pick up my own permit for the water heater and I called the credit card company because he charged the card anyways and I can't find the card since he left.  I just wanted to put it out there,  in case you ever try to use this company please remember that the kind services  they are offering might not be so kind. I know that gas is expensive but I can't imagine it's going to cost me $300 in gas to drive from Warm Springs and Green Valley Pkwy to City Hall on Water Street in Henderson.

We had a hot water leak under the slab foundation of our house.  Rakeman had the best quote and we liked the way they presented themselves.  Work started on a Monday morning and the plumbers who did the new hot water line were great.  Very careful of the appliances they moved and did a great job of prepping the area to avoid an excess mess.  We also hired Rakeman's sister company to do the restoration work.  They came on Wednesday and once again, great work in keeping the mess to a minimum and the drywall work was very well done.  We were told they would be back on Thursday at 8 am to finish the painting and then a plumber would come back out to reinstall the dishwasher, washer and dryer that had been disconnected and moved.  They didn't show up and I didn't get a call explaining the change.  It took three calls to Rakeman's office to get the supervisor to call.  I had noticed the texture had problems after it dried and the supervisor, Rocky, apologized for us not being notified of the schedule change and assured us the crew would be out in the afternoon to correct the texture and paint.  Then things went down hill...the restoration guys said they were told to connect the appliances - not the plumber that we were told multiple times would be handling that.  They didn't know what they were doing, which became apparent when I had to tell them to turn on the gas to the dryer and check for leaks.  They also installed my dishwasher massively crooked...one inch under the counter on the left and one inch sticking out from the counter on the right.  And after they left and the paint dried, it was obvious they had purchased the wrong finish of paint.  I called Rocky and once again, he apologized and told us how he'd get the paint guys AND a plumber out the next day, Friday.  When the restoration guys got here Friday afternoon they told me they were going to correct the dishwasher reinstall...when I told them that it had to be a plumber, I was told, after a supervisor phone call, that the plumber would be out MONDAY.  I tried to call Rocky, but he didn't pick up his phone or have voice mail, so I called the office and told them that was unacceptable.  Rocky called back and turned into Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.  Yelling into the phone at me about the fact my dishwasher didn't work - it was being replaced under warranty and because of that, it had to be installed correctly for the warranty to apply.  I painted the patches myself with the paint they picked up (I didn't want anymore time wasted moving appliances) ...and a plumber did show up to correct the dishwasher problem and check all the connections to the washer and dryer.
 
Would I use Rakeman again - absolutely!!  Would I use the restoration company again - probably,  But - DO NOT LET ANYONE OTHER THAN A PLUMBER RECONNECT YOUR APPLIANCES.  Remember, gas, water and electricity problems can destroy your home!! And make sure they put that in writing on your quote.  I was told multiple times that a plumber would be doing the work, but they kept scheduling others to do the job.  And YOU need to check the restorers work closely.  Remember, you're the customer and they're the hired workers.  And if you have to deal with Rocky, be prepared for him to change his attitude at the drop of a hat.

They lie about everything, quite simply... and the owner, Shawn Butter, keeps harassing me and even threatened to show up at my house when I cancelled my order for new toilets. The most dishonest business I have ever dealt with, even attempting to charge me (and previous home owner of all people) a $750 fee for cancelling an order 36 business hours after it was made, claiming the toilets were already shipped Friday evening and received Monday morning. A word to the wise, you know what to do.

I'm giving 5 stars because these guys managed to honor my home warranty request during a rough and busy time. I can see why people might give Andy and tough review; he's slightly curt BUT he knew what he was doing and talking about. Thank you 5 Star and Andy!

We had an emergency last night which forced me to clean my pots and dishes in the shower. My wife called because HP had done well in the past, but the name was different when the phone was answered. Name change, I thought. Well that happens. A service call was promised between 9-11 today and when I called at 11:15 the girl could find me, but not the appointment, after me having to call back 3X to get them to pick up the phone. Never again. Whoever bought the business will be gone soon.

Roto-Rooter is not a reliable company. Took two trips to repair a ceiling leak resulting in six days with limited water usage (Note - they don't work nights or weekends).  We were charged for two separate visits even though the same pipeline was repaired (first at an elbow we aren't convinced was leaking and then less than two feet above the elbow at the shutoff valve that was concealed by some plywood and the support beam until it was removed during the second visit).  The plumber really should have verified the leak was repaired on the first visit before leaving instead of just replacing the exposed elbow.  Also have the cost of running fans and a dehumidifier for six days (running 24 hours a day) due to the repair not being made on the first visit.
