Prior to forming Five Star Plumbing, Owner and Operator, Mike Buttaccio, worked in California and Nevada building and servicing residential homes providing superior customer service and expertise to his residential customers. Their Tech could not speak english. Their Tech smelled of smoke! Their Tech used a small little hand crank snake to try and unblock my blockage which he could not do. Should have used more professional equipment such as a large professional plumber snake.

Too bad there isn't a negative number because that's what they deserve!! They are the worst of the worst, bottom of the barrel, bad. The office staff, especially Brandon, have absolutely no customer service. They are miserable at their job and it shows. Since my home warranty is paying them, they don't have to be courteous, I guess.
They gave me an outrageous, out-of-pocket amount for my repairs. The 3 times I had to call the office, I was on hold for 20 minutes. When I did speak to someone, Brandon and a female, they were annoyed if I asked questions and would put me hold because of it for 15-20 minutes. When the technician finally came, he said it was a 5 minute repair. He didn't repair my issue correctly. I still had the problem. It's been 2 weeks. Communicating with them has gotten so bad that my home warranty assigned another company to correct and actually repair my issue!! Stay away!! Don't waste your time. You'll only be disappointed. The only way they are in business is because they are contracted with home warranties or they wouldn't have any business!!

I would give ZERO STARS if I could!! DO NOT USE THIS MAN!!! Extremely unprofessional and does not know the plumbing trade! I'm not sure where he received his experience from but it isn't in plumbing OR social etiquette! A joke of a business.
Plumber came to do a sewer line clean up. He cleared it but left a pile of sewage he took out and left it out in the open in front of the house. Didn't even say anything about it; just left. Needless to say, it created a foul smell for everyone in the community. Five star? More like one star! We'll call the Home Warranty and tell them to consider doing business with them. Refer them? Not a chance! Re-use them? Nope!
If I could give zero stars I would. RUDE and shady technicians. Completely inappropriate behavior. COMPLETE lack of professionalism & integrity. Save yourself the headache and choose another company.

A lady called me today who had a call placed from Home Warranty in regards to my broken toilette. She was a rude Real Estate lady calling me from her cell phone. I told her i will have my landlord call someone else out because I want this issue handled today. She Scoffed at me and said GOOD Luck home warranty placed this call. I ended the call. She was not professional and seemed to Levy the fact home warranty called them out however I had home warranty call out another plumber.
Worse than not good. Had to use because of America Home Shield who I think is part of the scam home warranty business. They sent out a very rude plumber who I could barely understand for a leaking water heater. He proceeded to tell me that my water heater didn't meet code and wasn't installed by a licensed plumber. The water heater was a top of the line water heater from Home Depot. that was 9 years old. He took all the information and talked to someone on the phone and said they would be contacting me. A week later and still no call, I finally got someone to answer from 5 Star. They said my water heater wasn't covered under home warranty and the replacement would be over $2000. Scam artists.
I have a home warranty which referred them when I moved into my new house. I thought I couldn't pick who I used and was stuck with them. The girl in the office that answers the phone treated me like an idiot, and every time someone came out to fix my problems it was a different person. 5 months later I am still having some problems but fortunately found someone else through my warranty and they are wonderful! So I absolutely won't call 5 star again. They need to fire the girl at the desk and start over!

I received very good service via 5 Star Plumbing. All items were completed in a well and timely manner. Water heater burst and I received immediate service and all was taken care of.
More like 1 Star Plumbing. This company is the worst. Do not use them even if your home warranty company - Fidelity - tries to make you. You will end up paying more for the repairs than you paid for the home warranty. They came out and attempted to fix a leak in our master shower. The shower had a small leak upstairs and leaked into the ceiling which caused the ceiling to bubble and fall in in the kitchen. Fidelity used this plumbing company to come out. First of all the plumber spoke absolutely no English whatsoever. Just trying to explain the issue was impossible. He used a bunch of black plumbers putty instead of replacing the part in the shower that was leaking. We then had to pay a restoration company to remove mold and repair the ceiling. The cost was $1000 6 months later the same exact issue happened. When I called Fidelity to handle it they sent out a different plumber. They said the part should have been replaced. We then had to pay another $1000 to have the ceiling restored. Fidelity wouldn't take responsibility and said I had to go directly to 5 Star Plumbing and try to get them to cover it. What a nightmare. Henry at 5 Star acted like he was really trying to help. He kept putting me off and after 3 months and many ignored texts and excuses he offered $100. I really wonder how these people stay in business and how do they sleep at night? It is just not right to treat people this way.
Horrible! Rude tech! Was rude to my daughter and then got on the phone with me and said he wasn't rude to my daughter. He was being rude to me while he was telling me this! Incredible! We hired another plumber who actually fixed our issue in one visit AND didn't charge us. This dude came out twice and didn't fix a thing.
FEEL LIKE I WAS SCAMMED 350 for a for a ten minutes job of installing a wax ring on my toilet and 600 dollars for draining the outside sewer pipes which only took ten minutes at the most.
I'm giving 5 stars because these guys managed to honor my home warranty request during a rough and busy time. I can see why people might give Andy and tough review; he's slightly curt BUT he knew what he was doing and talking about. Thank you 5 Star and Andy!

called home warranty for a repair-charged- me $75 for this jerk to come and do jack-squat!! he had no intentions of me being approved for the service. his name is andy-rude dude!!! do not use this company and stay away from fidelity as well!!!

They came out on my home warranty for some maintenance. They tried to sell me a bunch of crap I didn't need. They took our Moen faucet and replaced it with a much cheaper brand. They took the Moen and resold it or got credit for it I'm sure. They did a shitty job of installing my faucet as it's leaking. I will never use five star plumbing and try to make sure my home warranty company drops them. My hoa said they receive complaints about five star plumbing all the time.

I have had to deal with company because this is who our rental company uses. If you have the choice DON'T use this company. He leaves a mess when he's done for you to clean up. We had to have a faucet replaced last year which took weeks, he kept calling and would schedule and not show up. He came back in August and replaced a toilet for us. Well he was called out again today because the toilet that is only 5 months old wouldn't flush right. Turns out my lovely kid flushed a ball down it! He tried to tell me that the toilet needs to be replaced. I'm....no! It's only 5 months old and if the ball went in it has to come out. I thanked him and he left. I then got the ball out and put the toilet back. Notified the rental company (who was shocked and actually authorized them to replace the toilet) that it was taken care of and I don't want this company at my house ever again!
We had an issue with our toilet and through our home warranty, our technician/plumber Robert, fixed it quickly and was extremely knowledgeable, can't say enough about him. Thank you Robert.
