The hot water in my home started to have a yellowish color, so I went thru my home warranty and got these guys to take a look.  Our technician Karson was friendly and on time with our appointments.  He took the time to help me understand what was going on with the water heater and the other plumbing-related issues around the house.  He ended up replacing the water heater as well as installing a new kitchen faucet. I was surprised that he even offered to clean up our floor after skillfully lifting the old water heater down from the 2nd floor of our home.  Overall I'm very pleased with my experience with them.

Called this company after a neighbors recommendation. Horrible, horrible experience and I would never ever recommend this company for any plumbing work. I had a water main break in my front yard. Unfortunately, the original line ran underneath a 30ft tree. The original estimate of $1800 jumped to $3300 even though the distance to the house was exactly the same and with less obstructions. This was on a Tuesday and the problem wasn't resolved until Friday at 4pm. The plumber couldn't make it on Wednesday due to prior scheduling. When I called the company to see if they could send another plumber I was told that I wasn't on the schedule. In the meantime my front yard is half dug up and we have no running water. Before leaving on Tuesday the initial plumber told my that he would be back 10am Thursday. At 11am on Thursday no plumber. At 11:30 am the plumber finally arrived but arrived alone for a two man job.Did I mention that this guy appeared to be about 60. By 2pm this guy began packing his truck as if he was done for the day. When I asked if he was leaving for the day this response was I need a part and by the time I get it it'll be too late to come back however, he assured me that he would return 8am sharp Friday. Friday at 8am no worker, 9am no worker, 10am no worker so I called the company absolutely furious. I was told that the plumber would arrive in ten minutes and my response was something that I can't post. At 10:30 this guy arrives and tells me that he never said that he would arrive at 8am, as if I lied on him. At 2pm a young man arrived to give him a hand finishing. According to my father-in-law, a licensed plumber who lives in Hawaii the job was done properly but the experience was absolutely unparalleled. To top it off my yard and garage were left a mess. These guys my be experts on air-conditioning I would never suggest anyone use them for plumbing issues.

Air Squad was the third company sent out by my home warranty company, and the only one that fixed our air conditioners. BOTH of ours went out the first week of July, in LAS VEGAS! The first two companies sent lied to home warranty company about fixing them, they  just didn't want to do the work. Air Squad sent out JOSE, he was awesome! Diagnosed correctly, parts ordered, and repaired in days! Jose was so great! Thank you Jose and Air Squad!

One of the cool things about Mike, our Air Squad technician, is that he likes German Shepherd.  Thankfully, because I have a friendly German Shepherd that just likes to bark loud and intimidates most people.  

When I first talked to the friendly customer service rep, we set up the appointment and she said Brian was going to meet us, but Mike ended up coming over and and completed the task impressively.  

Now here in the cursed year of 2020, I was really dreading that it would take forever for my leak to to be fixed.  But man were we richly rewarded by Air Squad.  Mike huffed and puffed, and went back and forth to his work vehicle and did an exceptional job.  He even offered to clean up a little bit of mess but he didn't need to.  Mike's a great guy, he went above and beyond.  Need a professional plumber?  Mike's your man.

This place (I can't even call them a company) was the absolute worst excuse for an AC company I could have imagined! Just imagine it's 107 degrees outside and your Las Vegas home air conditioning unit goes out. You call and schedule an AC company to come out and when they show up the service guy says it's to windy I can't go up that high. Then decides to tell me I should have a different roof because tile is to dangerous for him to walk on. (Keep in mind 90% of the houses in Las Vegas have tile roofs) Has anyone ever ordered ice cream that was to cold? I mean come on what a freaking joke this place is! Now luckily it's only my whole family that gets to sit in this heat until the Bahama breeze calms down to their standards  so they can use the latter that looks like it came from a garage sell circa 1963. Never I mean NEVER!!!!! Give these people one cent of your hard earned money!!

Ahs sent air squad to fix the water leak..Joe came and I explained to him that another company didn't fix the leak..they just look at it and left.Joe, explained to me how he is going to fix it..he went to home depot and bought parts..he was very honest and professional..I am very satisfied of his demeanor..he added that he would order the other parts and will be back to finish it. I highly recommend this company and Joe..

The water heater in our house does two jobs -- it heats the water that we'll use and some of that hot water is piped over to the furnace to heat the air.
We were not getting hot water and heat in the house. Another company came to fix the water heater, and everything worked properly. Next day, AIR SQUAD came and said they just have to flush something. Literally, just right after he stepped out of the house, water started coming out from the shower drainage of the master bathroom, and the bath tub at the other bathroom. We were not able to catch him, but we called him right away and he just said IT IS NOT RELATED.
The guy did not even come back, or check what had happened. We had to call a plumber as it is an emergency because the water was overflowing from the shower drainage and was starting to flood the master bathroom and into the living room.
If I could give less that 1 star, I would. It cost us more money to pay for the plumber, and AIR SQUAD guy did not want to be accountable for what he did that have caused the water to come out from the drainage.
Update: After writing this review, I came across other reviews. Yes, this company DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY.
I will report what had happened to AHS.

Air Squad was dispatched by our home warranty company, Old Republic Home Warranty, when our upstairs unit wasn't working correctly. (BTW, ORHP is FANTASTIC.) Angel came, replaced a couple of parts, we gave him our copay and he was on his way. Polite, very informative and the dog liked him.

The air conditioner went out in my home last night, bummer!  I filled out the online form with my home warranty company and they said Air Squad would reach out to us within 24 hours.  They called me first thing in the morning and said they could have a tech in my house between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm.  I said, yes please!  The tech was on time and he was in and out in less than an hour.  In less than an hour my AC was working again and my house is nice and cool.  Great communications and great results.

Mike and Marco are a godsend! We've been having problems with the central heat & water heater since the new water tank was installed (by another company).
As it turns out, the workers who did the water tank install reconnected the pipes backwards!
Thanks to Mike & Marco, everything is fixed!
It's great to finally have hot water running in the two bathrooms  without having to turn the central air off.
And it's great to have heat during these still-cold days & nights, knowing that we can have a nice, warm shower instead of the surprise of cold water. Brrr!

Not only did Air Squad rip us off with a bad compressor repair in June 2015, but now we need a whole new unit!  We split our payment to them of almost $800 (that was the cost WITH an AHS home warranty at the time) and I called today to find out the serial numbers involved with the compressor in order to confirm their service last year.  I was told that, because I still owe them $244 (for which they SAY they mailed me bills and called me, but did NOT), they will not release this information to me!  I'm a consumer with rights...this is NOT A GOOD COMPANY TO WORK WITH.  They demanded my money and attempted to BLACKMAIL me for information that I have a right to know.

Well, there are either 5 stars or 1 star ratings.  My relationship with Air Squad is also through my home warranty.  I believe that this is where the issue lies....what the contract is between the Home Warranty Company and Air Squad.  It appears not all Home Warranty Contracts are created equal.  Some have better terms with Air Squad than others, so they work to keep their business.  There is a pecking order to how soon and how fast they respond.  

They were out two times in June 2017, and now my AC unit is not working again.   If I didn't have to go through my home warranty, I would not even consider this company.  And will make sure that the community I am involved with is aware.

My home warranty company assigned them to repair my pipe leak and I had read mixed reviews about the company so was a bit worried however, in the end, they went above and beyond to make things right.  It took a couple of phone calls and visits but they did a great job.  Special thanks to Mike who took the time to not only complete the repairs but also explain everything to me so that I would understand in non-plumber terms.  I would definitely use them again!

There was another plumber who was sent to my house to repair faucets, shower heads and water heater in my new house. They were terrible... so I had to place a recall to get a 2nd opinion... well Thank Goodness Air Squad was the 2nd company who sent their plumber to check out our plumbing issues... Jose was one who showed up, timely and quickly investigated the problems and gave me the diagnosis and estimate on the time it would take to repair these and get parts ordered and delivered. He explained the whole process step by step and had me set up with a next appointment.
Now, that everything is fixed I couldn't be happier that they sent Air Squad to the rescue.
Everything is working perfectly and I am super excited to make sure that the next call I make I will personally request Jose from air squad to come take care of my plumbing issues.

Excellent service. We had a number of serious AC issues this summer. Our warranty company had A&R complete service replace a chiller. They installed it incorrectly and it leaked and our ceiling in our dining area was sagging. We called air squad and they sent over Igor, who is a genius, and he quickly spotted this issue and repaired it. Air squad also repaired and practically overhauled our upstairs unit. They are extremely fair with pricing and are very pleasant people to deal and schedule with. We highly recommend them!

Had to use them by way of home warranty company; Egor came out and conducted an exterior visual examination of my 2 air conditioner units and came back inside to say they were low on Freon. Took him a total of 6 minutes.

I contacted the Home Warranty. They told me they would have another technician from the same company come out, I contacted this company again, and the person I spoke to said Egor he's our senior technician that we send out to fix things and if he said that's what's wrong then that's what it is. My response, so, you're telling me that it's best practice to not physically inspect an a/c unit and that Egor can visually inspect something and make a diagnosis them, yes, that's correct.

Zero value. Avoid.

This company was called to my house from my insurance company and they did nothing, they came , looked at it, didnt even try to fix it, and just out of that they figured they cant fix it... put a diagnosis as a secondary fault so they wouldn't fix it altough it did not make any sense ... lucky enough the dispatcher took the time to make sense out of it and they decided that it does not so they send a second company to check just in case and said and done, they came and opened the faucet, tighten it up and clean a bit the filter with water, 5 min later it functioned like it never had a leak.... now that makes you wonder ... such a lack of interest... very bad and useless use of my time

Let me start by saying that due to the age and size of my home I have yearly repairs needed.  I have a home warranty and have tried just about every company out there.  Air Squad was the quickest and least hassle free company I have ever dealt with.  My repair needed was pricey and no parts were on hand.  My technician and Heather took care of my family through every step of the repair.  Keeping me posted, scheduling me ahead of time, rushing my out of state order and calling me back and arriving at my home during there Pre-scheduled times.  My technician worked hard and resolved my fan blower motor issues without a delay.  Thank you Air Squad!

Home Warranty referred us. Wait time for a technician was long -- almost a week. The temps were in the 120's so understandable that so many having a/c problems. Technician was knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend them.

Scammers!  This company was assigned to me through AHS.  I submitted a work order for my kitchen faucet and bathroom toilet handles.   My kitchen faucet is leaking! And clearly covered under the warranty.. The technician came out and told me it was not covered because of a missing screw and when I submitted the work order - there was only one request to repair a broken toilet handle - so therefore they would only repair one for a $75 service charge..   I declined because - my toilet handle was literally a $10 part at Home Depot and could easily be fixed.. I've asked for multiple repairs in the past without incident.

AHS usually refers honest and reliable repair contractors.. We have used them consistently for the past 15 years..

These people want to do as little as possible and charge you the max! RIDICULOUS!!

When I called their office to complain and refuse the $75 service charge since work was NOT performed.. The operator basically told me - no refunds regardless.. He did not make any effort to work with me or the repairs..

Absolutely horrible service! Unfortunately, AHS assigned this company to me. They have given me great companies in the past. Very disappointed with this one.

Plumber calls me 3hrs before my appointment to say he can go to my place. I requested a late appointment so that I don't have to miss work. He doesn't call back and just decides to show up exactly at the appointment window start time. I was told they would call 20mins prior to coming, that didn't happen!

He initially tells me that the warranty will only replace the bathtub faucet with acrylic. I told him that they replaced my kitchen faucet with a comparable model. He stated that he's never seen that before. Why even challenge what the customer says?! They did that 6months ago! I can prove it if necessary. He then states that it's not covered due to someone tried to repair it. I told him that someone was me. I didn't try to repair it, I stopped it from leaking! The only way for me to do it was lodge a screw in the handle. I asked what I should've done instead of putting a screw in. He said most warranty places don't want you touching a broken item. Does that mean I just let it leak until someone comes out to fix it?!? He obviously didn't have an answer to that. I asked if that was the only reason why it's not covered. He changed his story to now being excessive force. The service order he left, states that a screw was lodged to repair the issue. Where's the excessive force?

It was apparent from the first call (3hrs prior to the appointment) that the guy was in a hurry to end his day. It's sad that they are in business just for the $75 service fee.
I highly recommend to cancel the warranty appointment if you get this company to service your warranty call. They will do whatever it takes to just get the $75. I wonder if the guy that came out was actually trained plumber?!? Hmmmm... they probably just have non qualified employees collecting $75. Employees trained to come up with an excuse not to fix your problem.

I am writing this review after giving the Compnay the benefit if the doubt. I had a leak an obvious leak. They sent someone out to the house who spent 17 minutes here and determined the cause of said leak. In the process also damaged my dryer.
Move forward, the leak is still present.
I call over the course of a few days no response.
I hire a leak detection Compnay (now I'm out of pocket almost 2k dollars). They find the source of the Leak, and give me a full report.
Again, I reach out to thins Compnay and after 2 days of calls I get in touch with Arlen (the Owner) he advised he would send out his best Tech......
Tech comes out, he is given the FULL Report of where the leak is, he disregards the ENTIRE report, says it's something else. Spends about 15 minutes fixing said issue, all while being condescending. Even when asked why his first technician didn't see the problem (apparently everyone sees plumbing differently) said I should be good to go but don't fix any of the drywall for a few weeks as the leaks may still be there!
No Sh#* the leaks will be there because you blatantly disregarded an ENTIRE report from the leak detection company.
So I am out more time and more money because after 2 technicians and speaking to the owner, my claims, and proof of the same were all dismissed. Not to mention the damage to my dryer.....
This is extremely disappointing that businesses continues to be ran to rip people off.

Our master bathroom toilet flooded our bathroom, kitchen and basement. I contacted my home warranty company and they sent Air Squad to to the job. I was greeted by Brian who was a fantastic plumbing tech! He was very knowledgeable of the area and how the plumbing works. Brian was so helpful and educated me on many things around my home as well. Brian and his brother came out to fix the issue with my main line. My home is still unlivable until the water is turned back on after damage repair but I have to say Brian was punctual and professional with all the work he did ion my home. I would recommend Air Squad for any plumbing needs! Brian really took care of me and was very professional. If I have any more plumbing issues I will ask for Air Squad!

Had been using another company and when this other company told me I needed a complete removal and installation of my ventilation system I decided to look around and I did. Marco came to the rescue and did a complete inspection and recommended that patch work would solve my problem! Which he did and did very good even providing me pictures of areas he worked in the attic. I was so impressed with him I decided to order a extra surge capacitor which will greatly improve the compressor life of my AC units. My other company wanted $325 each! Air Squad company charged me $300 even and that included labor. I found a company I can trust and not out to just bleed the customer! Office staff was very nice and every call was timely and professional! I highly recommend this company for any concerns you may have on any AC problems!

I was having an AC issue and this company was assigned through my home warranty.  As far as scheduling goes they did contact me promptly and came out at a time that fit my schedule.  My tech was Marco.  On the initial visit he diagnosed the problem but advised me that a part would have to be ordered.  The additional part would cost $125 and would take about a week to come in.  The price didn't seem too outrageous but it is unsettling to be the consumer in a circumstance where you can't see what's going on because it's taking place in the attic.  

About a week later Marco returned with a coworker and they were working on it for almost two hours and showed me the damaged part when they were done.  My AC thankfully worked throughout this situation and I don't see any evidence of more leaks so I assume everything was fixed correctly and they do warranty their work.  They offered to vacuum up the leftover debris, which I appreciated, but I was fine doing that myself.  My only complaint would be the grubby fingerprints left on the attic panel.  As far as that goes I had to bring in my own ladder to clean that up.  Everyone I dealt with as far as scheduling, Marco and his coworker were friendly and professional.

I was referred to this company by our HOW. I called to schedule an appointment and the soonest they had was 3 days out. It's 115 degrees outside this weekend. I was told that the tech would call me to let me know when he was en route. I assumed it was just a courtesy, but I was wrong. I missed the tech's call so he just didn't show up. I called a half hour later and the person I spoke to said I would need to reschedule. He also told me that he had informed me that I would need to answer the tech's call for him to show up which he absolutely did not. So much for an appointment. Take your business elsewhere these guys are nothing but a hassle.

Just after Christmas my heater upstairs goes out so I use my warranty company American home Shield and they send out air squad and my technician was Igor. I don't understand all the negative reviews.  I can say nothing but great things about this company and Igor my technician as he picked at my system until there was no more meat left on the bone and fixed it . He explained everything to me and let me watch as he was repairing everything. I can understand frustration with American home Shield and to those people I say you could reach in your bank account and pay for cash if you want it done yesterday, but don't take it out on the contractors that AHS uses. There are steps to take and checks and balances they have to follow.  This company did their job and this one they did well, great job Air Squad!

Thru AHS, Mike and Philippe arrived on time to fix the leak on my faucet. They were very efficient and professional. They cleaned up very good afterwards. I would recommend them to anyone with plumbing problems.

Our hot water heater went out Friday night before Easter. AHS assigned them for the repair. Jesse came out Saturday late morning. He took our old one out and put in for a new one. We had hot water back on Tuesday. Jesse did a great job. No other out of pocket costs other than our AHS service call fee. Everyone was very professional and nice from the lady who booked our appointment to Jesse, the guy who came to fix it. AHS got it right. Highly recommend.

This is a long post so the thumbprint is.
In my situation they were deceitful and lied several times. They are not to be trusted and the practices are shady. Don't believe me, then try them and I'll read your post after they leave. And if you are on the fence please trust me and use someone else this co will rip you off.
In my opinion: This company is just simply a smash and grab company. Sales tactics are exactly like used car salesmen in the 70s.

They showed up so I guess that's why the one star.
Two days later the home warranty says between 500-1200 is what I owe. Having never had that happen before I called to see why. Got two days of lies and bull shit. Got a second opinion and to this; group of guys with a Buisness license credit they actually told the truth that it was an evap leak, cool. ( sharing the same star for showing up) long story short the office tells one price the techs another and the sweet little secretary they have there stripping humanity from her soul one day and lie at a time has another price. They just wait long enough and lie enough to make you tired of waiting so you pay. Many hvac companies out there to pick from some good some bad. In my opinion when they have to lie to get money then how good can the workmanship be! If it wasn't (even after all the lies) 1300 cheaper through warranty company I would have told them happily to have a nice day!
The above story is all based on my opinion and what I witnessed. I'm sure these shitbags have another.

If you have AHS for home warranty and need plumbing repair done to your property don't let AHS waist your time by sending Ideal Services to your property and to find out they are not skilled enough to work on manabloc manifolds. My service request was transferred to Air Squad and service tech (David) came out to assess the leak that I had on my manabloc supply line. Parts were need to do the job and he went to get it at a supplier. The following day estimated ETA for repair was to take place between 12-3pm (David,Julio) came earlier than expected which made me happier being without water for two day's due to main valve shutdown. David and Julio are very professional workers who just simply come in get the job done and move on to what they have next. My leak was repaired within 2hrs. thanks again David for your quality work ethics and skills.

My home warranty AHS sent a plumber from this company for kitchen sink and toilet drain. First visit, the plumber said there was no problem. I guess the water drained while waiting for service. After 2 weeks it clogged again. I called them to come back. For Second visit, another plumber came and checked the problem. Snaked it and said there's wax in the drain and snake won't go in. That's it. Did not do anything. He called AHS to say, service request closed.
Waste of my $100 for service call. Do not call this company. Do not waste your money. Their technicians do not know what they are doing.

I highly recommend using this company! Vegas has an infinite amount of choices when it comes to air conditioning /heating services; however,  not many will leave you satisfied. The technician that came out was knowledgeable,  professional,  well spoken and fixed the problem.  Oh, did I forget to mention I still have my arm and my leg!? Very affordable pricing!

Cash only?

If quality, professional work is done then there is no reason to worry about customers disputing payment on a credit card.

They also price gauge, especially if doing work through a home warranty.

My suggestion is to look at all options before settling with this cash only because we can't win a dispute with a credit card company.

Our AC did not give cool air, Choice home warranty assigned Air Squad. The technician said compressor need replaced, and lied about the unit is not maintain, not true, we paid a license company serviced the unit 3 months ago, they cleaned plugged evap and condenser coil. Cleaned blower assembly, blower area, burner area.  Vegas had a worst wind storm in 20 years 3 months ago,  not sure if any debris got inside the AC. Air Squad use this excuse and Choice Home Warranty denied the claim. Yes, they took our service fee. Avoid this company at all cost, worst AC company.

Reported strange noise when furnace starts. Gary investigated and found a vibration of the exhaust which was not a problem. He was able to tighten it which reduced the noise. The system itself did not require any repairs.

Joe from Air Squad was very professional and knowledgeable with his trade. He was quickly able to replace the hot water heater. I did notice a minor problem minutes after Joe left. Upon calling Joe he returned within 10 minutes and fixed the problem. I would recommend Air Squad to others.

Wow! I am so relieved! Our AC broke down 4 days ago so I called AHS(American Home Shield). AHS gave me air Squad. I looked it up here on yelp and the reviews were not so convincing. Plus AHS does not send a technician on weekends. My family went through the weekend without AC. Agh!
I was so depressed, I have no choice but to wait and use it. Well, thank God I did. Air Squad is very prompt and professional. You saved us Elias! Great job for fixing our AC for us. I am really grateful.
From now on, I'll stick to AHS and whatever they would recommend. Thank you home insurance AHS!!!

Worst customer service. I've been out of a/c since Saturday. And they still have not fixed anything. When I call the reps. Just keep telling me that they have to wait for my homewarranty. When I call my home warranty people they say it is all approved. So I call them back and they give me a run around. Saying that they will contact my warranty people and will call me back asap. It's the Thursday and no call back. So I call and they are all like (oh yeah we got you set up for Friday. So I get a little mad and asked why so late when I was told everything was good on Wednesday. So I hung up and try to  finda way to get someone out here sooner. When I was told I would have to wait all over again for who knows how long . I call back and let them know I have no other choice. The gentleman then said it won't be until Saturday. Wow. I said. You just told me Friday. He said no. Now it's Saturday. Again. Wow. If it was just me I would not of been mad. But with a 6 yr old that's hot. It's hard not to get angry. If you can. Use someone else.

If I could rate this company any lower I would. I was services by this company through my home warranty. Came out to my house and filled my unit with refrigerant.. Two weeks later my AC unit was blowing warm air. Again, contracted through my home warranty I was put in contact with Air Squad. I called their office Wednesday evening after placing the service request and was told that someone would be in contact with me on Thursday. Called Thursday and was told a tech would be out between 3-6. At 430 secondary to weather in our area I was told that they would need to reschedule... Office staff was very rude and unaccomadating (I have two small children in the house in Las Vegas summer heat). On Thursday I was told someone would come out Friday between 6-9 pm.. No call, no show! At 0950 I receive a voicemail from a tech stating they can be out to my property in 10 minutes! Really!? My entire house was asleep! So now it's Saturday morning, I call yet again to see when someone can be out to service my AC and am told that I can have it serviced on Sunday!!!! Not today but Sunday!!! Horrible company, horrible service.

We worked through our Home Warranty for a leak we had in our kitchen sink . I called in the claim this morning around 8 am and by 10 Air squad already called and was at my house by 1130. They fixed the leak in the kitchen, replaced parts and we are good to go. Thank you Air Squad for the fast service!

0 stars. Amazingly rude and unhelpful woman on phones.  Three calls to try and schedule warranty appt for AC. Don't call us. we can't/won't talk to you about an appt until papework is printed. And I have 24 hours to do so. Finally calls to schedule...for 4 days from now. Really? is that a reasonable timeframe?
Between rudeness and lack of urgency, had warranty company cancel them.
Dr. Cool will be here in the morning! OH and they found my paperwork ONLINE in about 2 mins. Which was 2 mins after the request was rerouted. Total of 5 mins.

Horrible communication. Made an appointment for a water heater repair and advice them to call my phone number and not the one on file. That was never followed and they called the number on file which of course no one was going to answer, which caused us to miss our appointment and they wanted to reschedule us for a Saturday when our missed appointment was on a Thursday and we been waiting since Monday, Ridiculous and unprofessional.

The technician sent to my home was terrible.  Rude from the moment I opened the door.  Could not communicate, mumbled and ignored my questions and statements.    When I got the phone to call to my warranty company he was agitated and annoyed he had to wait. He clearly wanted to be done and out the door.   I said you are welcome to wait outside.  He did.  I was on phone with multi reps and on hold when he knocked to come back in.   He then opened door - I yelled to shut the door as I ran to door.  I have animals that can not get out.  I told him this earlier but he was not listening to anything I said.  When I got to door and went out to tell him I was still on the phone with the company he was here representing - he was getting in his car and left.  Rude - did not solve issue- could not communicate.  Will not ever use or recommend Air Squad.  Headed to BBB site next.

I wish we could give them no stars, not only did they lie to us, they also lied to our home warranty company about what needed to be done in order to fix our heater. After multiple calls to their service center and asking to speak to a supervisor (conveniently there was not one there at the time), no one could tell me any information THEN they gave me a bs textbook explanation of what a pipe modification meant, and that's why they were charging us an out of pocket fee, along with what they were charging our home warranty. Such a fraud! This is a prime example of why service companies have such a bad rep.

Not sure if they are on the up and up (so to speak) I have a warranty with American Home Shield. I needed my water heater replaced. Air Squad charged me $350 ($225 for the permit. $125 for a gas line modification)

The heater was still under manufacturing warranty and would be swapped out with exactly the same model, size etc.

Air Squad told me they only accept cash. I told them NO!  Their website says they take credit card and they are contracted with the home warranty company with that information as well.  I told them I will pay by venmo,PayPal, or credit card but NOT cash!  They told me they don't like taking credit card payments because customers can file claims and get their money back. (if they do good work, then they don't have to worry about that sort of thing)  I told them it's my protection to pay by card.  They finally agreed.

The installation was fine but I did not see what work was done that justified a $125 gas line modification.  The work was done on Feb 25th and it is now March 8th and I have asked 4+ times for details including a part name /model # and for more information on what exactly is a gas line modification that is a generic term.  I should've received an answer in 5 min not weeks.  Nothing needed to be modified since the water heater was swapped out with the exact same one.  I didn't see any replacement parts/gas hose either that would justify the price.

THIS... THIS...!!!  is EXACTLY why I refused to pay cash and I'm protected by my credit card company.  

I am not saying anything was wrong with the work they did but something is definitely not right with their fees!

I'm going to try to keep this short and to the point.

We have a warranty through American Home Shield (worst company ever BTW)

They sent Air Squad.

We were given an estimate that included over $1000 of additional charges. (See photo)

They refused to tell me the charges for what the warranty company was paying, or even just the itemized without disclosing the prices. I have a friend who used American home shield last year for this exact issue and they were given an exact breakdown of costs.

This house is 5 years old, this was the original Water Heater. Apparently, according to the plumber, it wasn't up to code and getting it to code required all of these services.

When I told the office that we were getting a buy out from the warranty company and requested the full bill so we could move forward with the services as suggested, he told me they were unable to send me an itemized but they would just charge me a flat $2000 rate. Well, I wanted to make sure we were getting an equal quality replacement so I told him that if I can't see exactly where the money was going I would have to take my business elsewhere.

WITHIN 10 MINUTES the plumber calls me and describes why he needs to do all this work and it started to feel really shady. When he gave the initial estimate it was to my senior citizen grandparents and at this point I started to feel taken advantage of.

So I called for a second opinion. Turns out everything is up to code and no additional services needed to be done. Just a simple water heater swap. I saved $1500 by getting a second opinion and I suggest you do to.

After sifting through yelp reviews we chose Vegas Strong to work with and they were amazing. They even offered a senior citizen AND military discount.

This company likes to get paid and not do any work. I have a register with no air coming out. The worker said that air was coming out. There wasn't. Worker insisted that air was coming out. They take their service fee and won't do any repair work, claiming nothing is wrong. Go with a different company !

The security screws as you call it is a simple bolt that can be removed with a simple tool called a Torx the brand is called Great Neck you can get a set for literally $8. If your serious about your business INVEST IN IT!!

We went through our home warranty and they hired this company. The one downside was that they couldn't come out for around 5 days. Since it was only our upstairs AC unit that was broken and it was May, we got by okay.

Other than that, the service was great. Vadym was our tech and he was very professional and efficient. He diagnosed our attic blower with a shorted computer board. Called a parts store and had the part the next day installed and the unit up and running. He also topped off our coolant.

Overall a great company. They don't try to scam you. They are just there to do the job and do it well and fair.

Air squad was very professional in calling and scheduling appointment for the same day service. Used home warranty ahs and requested service online and air squad was very quick to respond for service. Tech Joshua called a half hour out and showed up on time. Was very informative and solved the ac problem quickly just a capacitor blown and replaced in minutes. Will recommend and you this company for my heating and cooling problems.

If I could give less than one, I would!  Reported a leak through our HSA (home protection) who sent Air Squad out.  Though I told the HSA lady the leak was outside the house, never telling me it may not be covered outside, she sent them any at a co-pay of $75.  Though needed for background, this is an issue for another review!

The technician who came informed me it wasn't covered by the insurance and the cost would be $325...this was 6 days ago!! Since our water was off at the street, we had little choice.  Six days later the leak returns and noticed by water treatment installers.  I called Air Squad to find if they can get a tech out right away to fix what wasn't six days before, but couldn't accommodate until late afternoon.  So the water treatment folks fixed it since (of course) they could not wait (it was around 10 AM).  Called to cancel the call and suggested I get a refund of the $325...no effort on their part to refund for a job that was never done!

Awful experience! Linda with Air Squad Heating & Air Conditioning is the most greedy awful customer service oriented person I have ever dealt with. I have a home warranty protection plan and AC broke down they call you and tell you $700 for repair and I ask if they can wait til after winter since its not hot anymore, and they say ok, then Linda begins to call and leave me multiple messages saying my home warranty company will no longer wait and I MUST DO REPAIRS immediately. She blatenley lied to me, because I called my home warranty company and they told me it was up to the repair company which would be Air Squad, if they could wait for the summer to complete repairs as its Christmas and 48 degrees outside. Apparently Linda is greedy and a grinch. I would never recommend this company, as I work for a corporation that has 75,000 employees and I will tell all of them. Spread the word. I am very impressed with this company. I called them at 3pm and they said someone could come out today between 4pm and 7 pm. Richard (the tech) was at our house shortly after 4pm and by 4:30 we had our A/C back up and running!! What an awesome response time especially in the middle of June!!!  I would use them again and refer them to anyone that needs repairs!! Thank you !!

Would be ZERO STARS IF THIS WOULD ALLOW! SCAM ARTISTS DO NOT USE!! I had Air squad come out to my house through a warranty company at least 3 times... every time they came out I was given the same story.., Oh we replaced the part.. it's blowing great as they pointed that little gun up at the vent and fed me more bs... And then in a few days the same problem blowing warm... this happened multiple times! Because it was through a warranty company I had no choice on who responded to the call. One of the techs didn't didn't know how to fix the issue after multiple attempts and even had to call another person to help. So multiple charges.. the last time I'm November I was told I had a leak and that I had to pay $810 out of pocket even with the warranty company covering the $4000+ job. Now, I turn on the central air for the 1st time and surprise surprise... it's blowing hot air not cool! Look inside the breaker box and the circuit was turned off!!! So why they turned it off is beyond me! I call the company and am told by the owner ARMOND since you no longer have the warranty the company only covers repairs for 30 days.. I tell him repairs from any reputable company normally carry a one year guarantee... again I am told they won't cover anything if you had paid out of pocket then it would be covered for a year but you only paid a small portion of the cost. Owner also said if you want a nee unit I'll do it for $4000 cash in pocket... so I guess they prefer to rip people off u til they break down and give them TAX FREE BUSINESS. Now he refuses to answer my calls and I can tell ANYONE ESPECIALLY WOMEN DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A RIP OFF AND SCAM ARTISTS AND DON'T  STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK!  You couldn't fix a simple leak on a minimum of THREE VISITS AND YOU THINK ID PAY YOU TO REPLACE THE UNIT OR TO DO A 2 DAY PRESSURE TEST FOR $2000 but I'll charge you $800 for the test and another $3000 cash paid to me!! SHADY BUSINESS PEOPLE DO NOT USE THEM!

My rating is a ZERO.  Unfortunately I dealt with Air Squad through my home warranty company.   Their careless work caused an electrical fire and they had no sense of urgency to fix their error. Another company plus an electrician had to fix their mess and my family is fortunate to be alive.   These bogus 5 star reviews are a joke.  Friends/family from out of state I guess.  For your own safety,  please stay away and tell your warranty company to assign another company to you.

I have a home warranty company that has sent me Air Squad twice. Once to my rental home and once to my residence. At the rental, it took a month for Air Squad to complete the job. The most recent time not only did it take them a month, but they never called me back to stay in communication as to how long it would take for parts to come in. They claim that every time a part came in it was damaged. One would think that the part would be overnighted, but I keep hearing that the parts take just as long and every time they come in and they are all damaged. I have run out of patience. I have asked on several occasions to speak to a manager. His name is Armand and I do not think he exists because he'e never there and never available. One lady who took my call said it was up to the technicians to follow through with the phone calls... WHAT??? I think two people work at this business one tech and one person who takes the calls. I think Armand does not exist or too scared to take a call. Needless to say, they are  flagged on my warranty calls to never return. The only reason I used them for my residence was that I did not realize they serviced my rental home until my husband told me and Air Squad already cashed my check. They are terrible at communication and seem to be clueless about parts and follow through. If you live in Vegas like I do, you would think they would a little more on it to fix my air. I highly suggest you avoid the headache and go with a different company. I am using a different company as of today and miracuously they can come the same day to look at my air! Avoid Air Squad. Just an update that Vegas Pro Air came during their window time today right at the start - 10 minutes early and fixed the AC. It's done today and no parts needed. A company that knows what they are doing!! Yay!!!

Air Squad was assigned to me via my home warranty. They would not schedule me unless I paid them over the phone first. They gave me an 8 hour window 12-8pm today. They just called me to cancel, after I stayed home all day to wait for them. When they called  me to cancel , it clicked that they did this to me last year. same M/O - 8 hour window, cancel last minute. Except last time they did it to me 2 days in row. On top of that, I have not had hot water for 5 days and when I was clearly upset on the phone call , the receptionist laughed at me. I told her I didn't think it was funny - she then became nasty. I asked her to refund my service fee  back to my debit card. They have not refunded my money. Not only have they wasted my time, they have my money they will not refund and have not provided any service to me. I dont know how they are in business. I didn't want to even give them 1 star but yelp forced me to pick stars.

If I could give a -star I would.  My shower was leaking, I call AHS they sent this scamming company out.  after looking at the handle, with his allen wrench, he tells me that he cant get the screw out because it has Rusted Out, and that he is sure its the shower valve because if the screw is rusty than he know the valve is no good.  (i only been in my house 4 years, but the house is 15 years old) he explained that since he couldn't get the screw out he would have to make a cut around the handle to fix the problem and replace the handle, making it sound so easy.  Im like cool, because i know the valve is cover under my warranty. he tells me that he have to get approval for the cut and make sure that the valve is covered under my warranty, and that he would have his company call me once he got the approval to set up a time.  ok.  well later that night i got a call stating that my claim was denied, that AHS don't cover valves, so i ask her how did they really know it was the valve because he never took it off to look for sure, she said i don't know why they denied the claim but he could fix i for $750, joke right. so asked her so your saying they don't cover my valve, she said i guess not, thats why they denied it. As soon as i got off the phone with them AHS called to let me know why they denied the claim, the plumber guy told them that THE SCREW LOOKED LIKE ITS BEEN FORCE.  so in other words i tried to fix it and messed up the screw, (which is far from the truth) but thats not what he told me, (AHS thats a whole other yelp,) i called AIR SCAMMING SQUAD, to find out why the man told AHS a whole other thing, she told me to call the owner ARMEN and speak with him in the morning that he would be in, in the AM 9am, i call speak some women she stated she was manager and that the owners will be out of the office all week and try calling back at that time, they are out of town..but was there something she could help me with, so i explain what happen and could she explain what the screw looked force meant? she got rude!! she told me she didn't know, maybe it meant he tried to get it out and couldn't, which sounds like he did it, so why didn't he tell the company that? she said he did state that it was rusty, so why didnt he tell them that, she said well he will not change his write up and that i need to take the matter up with AHS.  after reading other reviews i see this is what they do.  SMH they are crooks and my next stop is BBB, these people are sad.  STAY AWAY FROM THEY, THEY LIE!!!!!!!

Want to give a shout out to Mike the plumber at Air Squad as well as everyone we spoke with in their office.  They are all very patient and I felt heard when I called the office or when we spoke to Mike with questions. Needed our water heater replaced which was still under warranty so Mike had to find the same one, not easy right now with supply shortages and all.  We were kept up to date on how the hunt for the new water heater was going and Mike was out replacing the leaky water heater asap when he found one.   We also got a follow up call from Air Squad just to check on us to make sure everything was working properly.  Really appreciated that.
We always call Air Squad, they've never let us down in all the years they have fixed, replaced or maintained our plumbing and HVAC.

My water heater blew and Air Squad was the company assigned by AHS, the process was a bit frustrating (as far as the warranty nothing to do with Air Squad) just because they had to go through the proper procedures which is send the request, AS (Air Squad) needed to wait for the repair order, schedule an appointment to inspect (this was the frustrating part just because NO water heater is EVER repaired) not replace as i found out when i called to verify the appt; which was a 1 min visit to take photos of the water heater and sign the agreement (that I took off of work for which i wouldn't have had i know it was mainly just for photos, then they would send it back to AHS for the approval, then AS needs to wait for AHS to inform them when and where to pick up the water heater. AHS informed me that they do not cover the permit (it is a requirement) and gas control valve.

Overall AS responded in a timely matter, they followed up with appointments, Joe who performed the installation was straight to the point, and they made a follow up call to verify everything went well.

As for the warranty process; If this was a request for something that requires diagnostics I'd understand, but it would have been nice to have a process in place to have something like a water heater addressed immediately, bypass the initial inspection with photos emailed or texted possibly??? That's could have probably left me down without hot water for 2 days instead of 4...this is an heads up for what to expect!

I had an excellent experience with Air Squad plumbing. Mark fix the 3 faucets that was dripping water for a long time. The other plumbing company that was sent by AMERICA HOME SHIELD didn't care and just look and walked out.

Our water heater was leaking on Wednesday night, called American Home Shields and sent a plumber from Air Squad. Joe took a look at it and said it needed to be replaced. Soon as he submitted recommendation to AHS the unit was ordered and scheduled to be installed the following Monday. Joe came on time. He was courteous, focused and knew what he was doing. He was polite in answering all my questions as he quietly and precisely install the unit.  He told me that it would take a couple of hours until the water gets hot and ready to use.  The following day, he called to follow up and made sure the heater is working well. He said to call them anytime if something comes up and for any further quearions and concerns I may have.
I recommend Air Squad and I give an A++ to
JOE SCOTT, the best plumber in town. Thank you Joe, I'm enjoying a nice warm bath in this cold, windy, rainy weather

Technicians promptly arrived, Mike (Senior Tech) was thorough in his explanation of the function of the main pressure valve, giving guidance to John (new tech.) on the removal and replacement of the brass valve using torch and flux.

Tech advises and sets the right water pressure. Air Squad  did an awesome job in their work and clean up.

I thought going through my American Home Shield I wouldn't have such a great experience. But I have to tell you I had Egor come out which is a technician from this company. He is so professional and the sweetest person I've met so far out here he does a thorough job he came back cause I thought I had an issue he just goes over the top and I appreciate this company so much that I will call them in the future. I'm so upset that I didn't call them for my cleaning because I got ripped off from another company, you live and learn but I will definitely use this company again. Egor was amazing and the girls in the office are sweet and professional so thank you so much air squad, And thank you American Home Shild for referring them to me.

They saved us from so much heartache and trouble.  American Home Shield first sent us Doctor Cool who made an erroneous diagnosis, leading AHS to refuse coverage of our broken heating system.  Air Squad provided a second opinion, and the correct diagnosis, and it only took them 10 minutes to replace the main control board and fix the issue.  Hot air is once again blowing in our home.  Thank you Air Squad!  Thank you, Armen, you are the best!!!

I found this company through my home warranty and needed assistance with my AC. The technician who came out was very unprofessional and disrespectful to me and my husband. He didn't want to answer our questions and insisted he get paid even though he did not fix our AC problem. I tried to explain to him that I already paid the warranty company but he kept going around in a circle on why I needed to pay more.  Had to ask him to leave my home after the conversation became hostile and escalated. I will never use or recommend this company to anyone.

We have a home warrantee and it took 5 days to install a water heater. The staff was rude and lied about timeframes. I had to work with the Home Warrantee and had them call air squad. The home Warrantee was able to get the truth. What ever happened to customer service and honesty. I would NOT recommend this company.

Left my garage wall and floor a TOTAL MESS! Left screws on garage floor and my vehicle tire picked one up! My wall has to be repainted. Charged me for a permit they did not provide, padded the bill with RIDICULOUS extras. STAY AWAY. Sloppy, lazy SHODDY WORKMANSHIP the eye can see..wonder what I can't see.

I have a smell coming through the vents so I wanted someone to check my vents for damage close to any sewage piping.  They sent out their plumber to diagnose.  He did nothing except walk inside and say call Roto-Router.  This was connected to a home warranty service and this company has the nerve to tell the home warranty company this is not covered.  How is it not covered, the guy did nothing but walk in my house and say call someone else.  

I say follow their own recommendations, call someone else.

Amazing service and very fast to respond! AC wasn't coming on. Appointment schedule for the same day, technician showed replaced small part and AC was up and running no problems!

I had them fix my hot water heater in Feb 1 2017, so yesterday my heater stopped working so this morning i call them up to explain that I would like someone to come out and fix the problem because it's still under warranty with them. The girl tells me I need to have a work order when I explained I'm no longer with that other home warranty service. she tells me that the product isn't covered under there warranty but the home one, when I start reading the part were it says it's covered for 90 days last time I checked 90 from Feb 1 is may 1 she goes no we never cover that if you want we can send someone out for a 50 service charge and what ever needs repairing we will do for a cost. I started getting heated you are telling me I have to pay for you to come out and pay to get something that clearly in the receipt states 90 days parts and repair. She turns around and then tells me you can go through your new company and pay then to come out to look and repair. I lost it. This is a scummy company that is out to rip you off. So beware use someone else if you can.

Beware! If you work with your HOW they are probably on the list. After you get the tech out and the diagnosis, they come back with the same written order, that you've signed, and try and hit you with a different bid beyond your deductible. It's almost $150. They'll harass you until they think they can get you to pay it but it's not under your contract for them to consider it uncovered costs. They just try to scam you with that excuse. Avoid them. Go to the next contractor on the list. Tell your HOW so they can stay informed of these type of practices.

If I could rate them less than 1 star I would .

The company does not take pride in its work or customer service. Specifically the person who schedules the job.

My technician Egor is very good at his job. However the management of this organization is a joke. 1st call to determine was to determine the part needed to be replaced, the part took 5 business days. They decided to delay the installation of the part until they could find time in their schedule to accommodate themselves not us the client.

I called and asked since it was going to be 8 days since the 1st visit why couldn't they come as soon as the part was available.

His answer we're busy and ur lucky u got on the schedule

I escalated to the home warranty company and they said the repair takes 3 hours so that's why they are can't do it when the part comes

Well the guy just left and he was here 57 mins. He did a great job but the management is useless.

He literally told me, I'm lucky it's only 8 days from 1st visit to repair. Other people wait months. I also told my home warranty company to exclude them from ever servicing our equipment again.

Again the tech was excellent, the management is just awful. If u spotted them the letters Customer Servic
They wouldn't know how to complete the word.

I would never do business with a loser like this company again. If u do, u will be at their mercy.

This company was the contractor for our home warranty on our new house. We noticed the upstairs air conditioning didn't seem to be working on a Saturday. Filed a claim with our warranty that day. Got a phone call from Air Squad on Sunday morning and they were at our house on Monday morning about 945am and the job (the blower had to be replaced) was done a little after 11.  Service tech was polite and efficient.  Very satisfied with their prompt customer service!

The tech they sent out, Igor, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. He diagnosed the problem immediately and  remedied it within 15 minutes. This was the same problem that another HVAC company couldn't solve in 3 visits and dozens of phone calls.

I had my heating system go out at my condo. They sent a technician out to take a look. He came to my place and left within 10 minutes saying they need to order a certain part. Seemed rushed for the 10minutes he was here. As he was practically running out he said the company will call to reschedule. They did for another three days later. That was supposed to be Friday. Thursday they call and have to reschedule for Sunday. It's now been about a whole week without any heat in the dead of winter. Sunday comes and he's here for ANOTHER 10 minutes saying that because a valve is a little rusty he's not able to touch it and needs a plumber which is going to need a new work order and so on. So he tells me he's going to have to come back tomorrow (Monday) BUT he said he would return in the morning with the plumber to get it all taken care of fast. The plumber did show up but no HVac technician, so I call Air Squad and they tell me I have to wait anywhere from 1-4pm ( which Sunday he was supposed to be at my place 8am-11am and showed up at 11am). Over all the company is unprofessional and has ZERO customer service. These people just push one job after the next working with insurance companies trying to fill as much orders as possible with providing horrible quality and service.

This company has the best service I encountered for a while very professional and on time I had a problem the service person Jaime arrived on time called me half an hour before and advised me he will be here on time them few minutes before he called and was near my location came did the job took care of my problem my garbage disposal was leaking and the on and off switch was not working he changed the garbage disposal fixed the switch any all was back in top condition
I recommend this company to any one the do heating and cooling also.

I would give zero stars if I could. This company was recommended by American home shield when my water heater burst. No damage to upstairs around the water heater but damage downstairs in the ceiling. No drying needed for upstairs in the water heater closet or surrounding flooring. They could not respond until 4 hrs after the call. They (Jamie) showed up on a Saturday putting booties on his feet and advised that they could not get the replacement water heater until Monday when the vendor opened. Fine.

The guy shows up (Jamie) on Monday at 11am (no booties) and I asked if he was replacing and he said no. I said what do you mean no as he told us the vendor was open today to replace the water heater. He denied saying this and needed to wait for the drying around the water heater. I had to ask him if he was the same guy that was here on Saturday and he said yes. I said there wasn't drying to wait for as there wasn't any damage around it to dry so it could be replaced.  He even verified it on Saturday as the floor was bone dry sine the water went down the drain only. At this point I wasn't sure why he was there. I had to ask him to drain the water heater and take it downstairs into the garage. He drained it then took a dirty dolly to load the water heater on it and roll it down my carpeted hallway and stairs. No protection or precautions were made for the carpet. I was downstairs as he was doing this and half way down the stairs, the guy tells me that the water heater was leaking water still. Meanwhile he has made a water trail through the hallway, down the stairs and on the tile on the way to the garage. He asked for a rag to clean it up.  I told him that this is unacceptable and he is not rubbing water from a broken water heater into the carpet. He said it was just water. I pointed out that he knew water was leaking in the hallway but kept going? He said yes. WOW!  I asked if he normally puts plastic down to protect the flooring and all he could say it that he's never had a water heater leak after draining it. He never answered the question.

So another day without hot water and I asked what time should I expect him tomorrow and he didn't know and I requested first thing in the morning. He advised that the office would call me. Needless to say I sent the company and email with the scenario and photos of this trail of water. I called and left a message. No call back

I got a call at 2:30ish advising of an 11-2pm time frame. I said fine and asked to speak with the manager. Well that's not happening as the screener Kayla put me on hold for a little bit and comes back stating that the manager is not available. Fine. So I asked for her name and was told Alyssa. I asked for a last name and was told that's he could not give that out. WHAT??? She went around stating that the soonest appt was 11am as of this was going to be a complaint on the scheduling (her job). I advised that I said it was fine and that I am having issues with the work being done and need to speak with a manager and that I already left a message and send and email and would like a call back today.  I am in the process of getting quotes to clean the carpet and will be submitting the invoice for payment. I'm sure this will be ignored and will have to search for the insurance company info to make a claim. It's going to be a long process

I would never recommend this company to anyone due to the unprofessionalism, dishonesty, avoidance of the customer to address issues, and damage to flooring.

I had a guy named Igor come out to service my AC.  Absolutely the coolest and most customer service oriented tech I've ever had work on my units.  Had a russian accent, too, which just makes everything he said sound cooler.  Excellent customer service, highly recommended!!!

He performed his job and exceeded our expectations. Very meticulous and very professional. We will keep this company on speed dial for any of A/C needs.

American home shield sent air Squad to come find a leak in my home after I found my carpet was wet in a big area. They were really nice on the phone and the technician was early which is good. I told the tech he could cut a hole in the drywall if he needed to. I had someone let the tech in to find the leak. Not only did he not find the leak he put 9 different holes in my master bedroom wall and 1 in the master ceiling,1 in the master bath nowhere near the leak and 1 more in the master closet even further away. So a total of 12 holes and found nothing???? Then said maybe my dogs were mad and peed on the carpet lol. In my closet he cut the drywall without covering any of my belongings with plastic which I have plenty of. There are plenty of other plumbing companies to consider over this one.

If I could give negative stars I would.

In April of this past year, I had originally had Air Squad come out through American Home Shield for a tune-up on my HVAC. After the tuneup they had a list of items that needed to be fixed, to include more coolant in the system. My HVAC is about 11 years old, so I trusted what the technician said. I then put in another work order through American Home Shield so that he could come and fix the issues that he stated needed to be done.

FAST FORWARD TO 07/03:
On the hottest day of the year, my A/C unit goes out in the hottest part of the day. I called from 4:30PM to 6PM when their offices closed. No answer at all. I'm assuming their receptionist decided to call it a day.

I had to call Goettl, who I very highly recommend and they answer their phone as well as has 24-hour service.

When Goettle came out to see what the issue was (mind you it was 91 degrees in my house), and stated that my A/C unit was dangerously filled with coolant. So much so, that he had to release the coolant out of my unit in the amount of the 2lbs that I paid Air Squad to put in, because I trusted the technician who told me that we needed it.

Vadym, the technician that was sent by Air Squad, I now question if he is even certified. Any Certified HVAC tech should know, that the 410a coolant that is used in an HVAC unit, EXPANDS IN EXTREME HEAT.

So not only did my A/C run out, but I had my 2 year old at home. I GAVE AIR SQUAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO FIX THEIR ISSUE, but they didn't answer their phone when someone called.

They offered to come out today (next day) to fix the issue, but I do not feel comfortable in having them touch anything with a 10ft pole, plus Goettl already fixed the issue. When I explained this to the lOvElY woman that I spoke with, she stated that All A/C Companies talk trash about the other ones, so they will tell you anything. My unit wasn't working, it wouldn't be trash talking if I watched the other technician drain the overfilled coolant and then *poof* my A/C started working again.

I do not recommend. I feel like they purposely rigged my unit on purpose to get another service call to charge more money. I also question if they use certified HVAC technicians.

I'm supposed to get a call from the supervisor, but I have a feeling that will never come.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. But I have to admit, I was scared of hiring this company after reading the reviews.  I went given their information though my home warranty. I called to make an appointment and they were able to accommodate my schedule. The guy came over, looked at the AC and showed me exactly what was going on. I told him I wanted to repair the leak and he had it done within 30 min. Freon was a little expensive but that's not his fault.

Oh Las Vegas and it's weather. Listen, I'm a stay at home mom with a bunch of kids and the air goes out. Noooooo. NOOOOO. I call my warrenty and they have Air Squad come THE SAME DAY. Yay! Josh was our tech. That's also my husbands name so I couldn't forget it. Josh was so kind. He didn't mind all the blocks and kid toys all over the place, or the crazyness that is known as my backyard. He got up on that roof and went to work. He made sure to update me consistently. Josh also spoke in words my mom brain could understand so I can communicate this to the hubs later on. As we sit here in our very chilly house... We salute you JOSH! Not all heros wear capes. Great service all the way around. We will use Air Squad here on out.

Bifurcated capacitors taped inside cardboard box and set loose in the box.  Fire hazard, poor workmanship.  Air squad says they don't get paid enough from American home shield.  They don't care.  Very unprofessional.  Original was dual Capacitor with metal bracket.

This company technician was sent to my house through American home shield, this is for repairing my bathroom faucet, he was exactly 30 secs at my place looked at the faucet told me there is a missing part and the American home shield doesn't cover it, i asked him to show where does the missing part go and he mumbled and said its inside can't show(obviusly it was a lie), he also told me if i pay out of pocket he would fix it, he took the pictures of the faucet and left not repairing or replacing it, when i called American home shield to ask my money back as it was not repaired/replaced, (was on hold for 58 mins) they replied the technician did a detailed diagnosis of the faucet and they can't do nothing, please i beg you not to use this company( air squad), they are not even proper plumbers, they actually repair AC's plumbing is their side gig.

I'm not one to do reviews but this company was so bad that I had to share my experience.  

First note that this company was selected through my home warranty provider.  Our AC went out on 5/24/17 we placed our service request only to find out no one would be out until 5/26. The tech came out and says the AC just needs freon so he charges the AC and goes on his way. The unit still doesn't work, we call 5/27 only to be told no one can be out until 5/29.

5/29 comes around and they tell us that we need a compressor, which takes 2-3 days because of home warranty. So now the AC will be fixed on 6/2, so the tech comes out installs and charges the compressor. It works for about 30 hours then stops working.  Here's the crappy part we call Air Squad and leave a message... NO ONE CALLS US BACK. You would think that after a week and a half in the early Vegas summer at least a manager or someone would have called and addressed the situation.... nope, crickets.

Air Squad will be a name that I remember for their absolutely awful service.

Needed a second opinion after another home warranty company stated this motor replacement for my furnace was not accessible and wanted more money out of pocket to fix it.
Called the warranty company to send Air Squad out to fix the problem and if Igor the tech was available to come out.
I have used Air Squad and  Igor prior and was very satisfied with his quick and efficient diagnosis and repair of the simple motor replacement.
Wish the home warranty company would have sent Air Squad first and would have avoided the other ripoff company.

This is the third time we've had our air conditioner serviced since we bought our house. The first two companies should have both been called RIP-OFF Air Conditioning.  One wanted $800 for a $40 capacitor.  The other more than tripled the price of the Freon for a recharge, plus the cost of the service call.  Had problems again this week and Air Squad came out.  So nice to have a repairman who actually knew how t diagnose the problem and repair it at a reasonable cost.  Elias is the tech who repaired our unit, and if I could I would give him 10 stars.  Great job and so happy to have a cool house again without tripping circuit breakers.

I'm going to make this as short and sweet as I possibly can for others not to use this company for any type of service. AIRSQUAD owner Armen which is his name is one hell of a scam artist including his entire team of idiots. I have American home shield for my home warranty company. Another SCAM Company. AHS sent out AIRSQUAD to handle my water heater claim. Before sending out their so called technician, I already knew my water heater burst and I needed a replacement one. THATS ALL JUST A WATER HEATER. But according to AIRSQUADS tech I also needed new gas line and flex hoses for the water heater. After the tech looked at my setup in the garage he then informed me that his company will be charging me for moving my water softener or cabinet I have installed and we're going to charge me $250. So after having a 2 minute conversation with the tech I let him does his thing and he left. I then received a call the next day from AIRSQUAD that they want to set an appointment for the following day which would now be the 4th day without HOT WATER. I then went to confirm that I had paid my deductible with warranty company and I had a balance of 0 dollars. She then told me that was false and my balance was going to be $805 Not including the warranty water heater that I was receiving. So your telling me $805 for 3 hoses and was also informed that 250 dollars was to pull a PERMIT for Clark county to install a water heater. Keep in mind I'm not building my dream backyard that we need PERMITS pulled. Lol. So I informed them I'm not paying a single penny. I was given an Ultimatum from ARMEN the owner that if I don't want his service to cancel my claim. Wtf talk about a class act. At this point I'm extremely frustrated and now I feel violated from this piss poor company. After demanding a complete work order with pricing I was emailed a poorly written email/letter of what's going to be done. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT USING THESE SCAM ARTISTS. They call themselves Plummer's and hvac guys but they should go back to building legos in there backyard.

Like many of the reviews here I was referred by my home warranty. We had a clogged pipe that was causing flooding in our front yard. The guy came out and unclogged the pipe. He told my husband he was so grossed out (by the smell) that he was not going to Clean everything out around his work area. Fine. As long as the pipe is unclogged. Fast forward to two weeks later. We are having the same issue. I call my home warranty and they stated because it was not covered by the warranty i would have to deal with the company directly. I called the office. The lady that answered the phone was nice and informative. She promised a call the same day which we did receive. The same guy came out the same day and said for him to run the snake in the pipe again it would be $150. I calmly explained to him that we should not be charged and obviously the pipe wasn't cleaned out correctly because we are having the same issue 2 weeks later. I told him I would understand if it was 2 months later, but that was not the case. He told me they didn't have any guarantee on his work because we could be abusing the pipes again and using too much toilet paper and clogging it again. He refused to do anything but offered to come out with a camera and snake for $300 if it happens again. Needless to say we are out $250 and I still have the same problem. The guy obviously didn't care about his job or workmanship. Just pick someone else to come do your plumbing work. I also reported them to the home warranty and advised they should be choosing companies with integrity and that stand behind their work.

I try to use FaceBook for only sharing good times and fun family photos but sometimes I just have to be a vigilante so others don't get screwed.  Especially in these economical times.  I called AMERICAN HOME SHIELD -- we have had problems with them but in general they have been more good than bad to us- for the most part.  occasionally they send a bad seed.  
Sweet little old Joe came over and installed a new water heater but then told me that I owe him $350 on top of the warranty co pay for a permit fee for the City of Henderson. I have been a homeowner for quite some time and that seemed a bit high so I called the city of Henderson myself to see what the permit fee actually costs for a water heater replacement.  The nice man at the City Hall office told me that the fee is actually only $41 and I could come down there myself today and it would probably take me 10 minutes to get the permit and I would be on my way and pay $41. When I called sweet little old Joe back to ask him where my credit card was and why he tried to up charge me to $350 when the permit only costs $41 , he told me that he was doing me a kind service. I'm not sure what kind service means to each person in this world but that does not feel Kind.  
I will go this afternoon and pick up my own permit for the water heater and I called the credit card company because he charged the card anyways and I can't find the card since he left.  I just wanted to put it out there,  in case you ever try to use this company please remember that the kind services  they are offering might not be so kind. I know that gas is expensive but I can't imagine it's going to cost me $300 in gas to drive from Warm Springs and Green Valley Pkwy to City Hall on Water Street in Henderson.

My home warranty company selected this company. So I had no choice.It started with my service call, I requested service over the weekend as my hot water heater went out.  When they called on Monday morning they couldn't get me in until Tuesday (which I think is ridiculous as it took 5 minutes to diagnose and they carry zero parts) I emailed them later that morning as I never got a time frame.  No email back.  I called right before closing and they didn't even have me down. They came out, diagnose a bad part (this literally took 5 minutes) and said the part wouldn't be in until Friday.....In my house, there are currently 3 adults, 1 infant and 3 foster kittens.  No hot water until Friday?? The part came on Friday....of course they couldn't put it in that day.  I had to wait until MONDAY!!! They put the part in on Monday only to discover that another part was bad...That part came in a day and the tech came out that day....but only because when I called to tell the office the part was in I told them the tech said he would come out the same day.  They were going to 'schedule' it.  He put the second part in and left.  An hour later. No hot water.  Whatever part they needed again wouldn't be in until Friday.  Literally this took TWO weeks.  The tech was nice,but  based on the events I'm unsure how skilled he was...This company was horrible to work with.  They were rude, condescending and even called me and told me my hot water heater needed to be replaced and no one had even been to my place!!! Such a screwed up mess.  I will NEVER accept this company again.  Stay far far away.

Wow they are a joke. They will not help you when you call in. They will hang up on you while you are talking to them on the phone. They have no clue on what they are doing. The young lady I spoke to was out of line. She even raised her voice at me. Is this the way this company operates. Not cool not professional.  ....

He is always professional, courteous and patient in explaining his intentions. Our Air Conditioner broke during the middle of the summer.  Through our home warranty AHS, Air Squad was called to do the repairs.  Alex showed up and was very professional and diagnosed the problem within an hour.  Although the repair process took about a 5 days total due to the home warranty, Alex did the best he could.  As soon as the home warranty process and the part was received Alex spent the entire Saturday working on our unit.  Anyone who can work for entire day in the middle of July in Vegas deserves a great comment on yelp!  We appreciate all that Alex did to get our repairs done.

Two weeks later our air compressor went out.  Alex came to the rescue and got our air conditioning up and working again within a day!  Alex is the best and I would refer him to anyone.

American home shield send this company to install my ac unit, my out of pocket was $1,800.
Air squad called me several times before the date of install to remind me the out of pocket was due on the date of service.
On the day of install half way to install they demanded the out of pocket to be paid to them ? I told them the unit is not fully installed and not operational.
Their answer was that's the way our company works ???
Never seen any company doing business like this worst experience ever.

Will not recommend to do business with this company who don't trust their consumers.

The unit didn't heat the house evenly since day one of install.
Now since last 3 days as the weather is hot the cooling does not work, set the thermostat at 75 for cooling but no use house at 80 super hot

I think whatever positive reviews posted are by the company/company employee and friends

My air conditioning is blowing hot air. My home warranty company sent out Air Squad. The entire time this guy was here, he seemed put out, told me not to make my thermostat any cooler than 76, and after he left, it continued to flow hot air.

I called them and left two messages and they didn't call back, so I called the home warranty people again. Air Squad called me and said they would be here on Tuesday, so I get to deal with a 90 degree condo until Tuesday.

I've been without air conditioner since July 03, today is Sep 07, and I'm still suffering at home sick, with 2 pets. I think 1 star rating was too much, but I had to pick one. Terrible professionals, horrible calling back, or answering calls. I wouldn't recommend this company to a dead rat!!!!!!

If I could give this company a 1 star rating I would. I usually don't do reviews but this one is important. My home warranty (AHS) sent this company out to repair a leak under my kitchen sink. I wasn't home but explained to him what was going on. When the faucet is running normal there isn't a leak. When the dishwasher or sink is filled up and then drains, this is when the leak occurs. It has happened three times in the past week and soaked everything underneath. My friend is a plumber, out of state, and told me how to diagnose it and I found it leaking when I did the above. He advised me that there is a stoppage somewhere in pipes. The tech came, filled the tub half way, and said nothing was leaking and left.  He was there for about 10min. He didn't run the dishwasher or do the proper diagnostics to find leak. I spoke to the manager of the company and she basically said the tech didn't find a leak and that's it! Great customer service! Tell your home warranty to give you another contractor and if you don't have a home warranty stay clear of this company.

AHS sent these guys to clear my main sewer line to my home. Mike came by, worked hard at it but could not reach it with the tools he had. This was a Wednesday afternoon.
My biggest issue was then he could not return until Saturday afternoon. He did get it clear then, but by then, because of their scheduling practice, I had to move out into a hotel for 3 nights out of my pocket just so I could shower and have a working bathroom.
I think they take on too much work, and won't juggle jobs to finish one before starting another. Otherwise, Mike did a pretty good job.

Josh came out diagnosed problem - evaporative fan motor , ordered the part and did repair after two days!

I had another company come out through American Home shield- Air Pro master and they where terrible!!

This company is great! We have had several repairs by Air Squad, and  every time they have fixed the problem perfectly. The employees are efficient, professional and always personable. The last repair we had was by Marco. One of our air conditioners has not been working right, even after repairs by other companies. Marco was so thorough, he found a leak! He repaired it, and then re-filled the coolant,  it now works great. And, we won't have to keep paying for coolant to be added! Great job Marco!  From now on, we will only use Air Squad. We highly recommend Air Squad for any service you need.

My heater was working Monday night. I woke up Tuesday morning and Antarctica felt warmer than my house. I knew something was wrong. I called my home warranty company and placed a service request. A few hours later, I received a call from Air Squad. I was offered a next day appointment. The next day, I received a call from Jose telling me that he was on his way and will be at my house in a half hour. Because I was unable to be present, I arranged for another family member to let the technician inside.  Jose arrived on time (between the scheduled appointment slot) and went right to work. He diagnosed the issue and changed out the ignition board. He was here for about an hour and change. My family member told me that Jose was friendly and had no issues completing the work.  The cost to replace the board without the home warranty would have been $650 which I feel is grossly inflated. Nonetheless, I paid $75 which is cheaper than what heating supply stores charge for the part alone.  I would call this company back again for future heating/cooling needs.

Our water heater broke so I called AHS and they assigned me this company to replace it. They called me promptly to schedule an appointment and got me in the same day. They had to call warranty to get approval and once they did, I got it installed the next day. David the technician was really great and got it up and running very quickly. Definitely recommend these guys for your AC services! Our AC went out last summer.. Igor was the rep that came out to check out the AC. He was quick at diagnosing the problem and getting it fixed. I have them on speed dial in case of any emergencies this year and have recommended them to a few of my friends - all have been happy with their services too!!

I used this company in Oct 2015 for repairs with my a/c unit leaking. This company is referred by American Home Shield.  Air Squad completed the repair and added feron to my unit. I was told my unit needed 8lbs of freon. I didn't contest it not really understanding where I could find that information to verify the amount. I paid the amount $480.00 for the services that were supposedly done.  Over the weekend, I had my a/c service and the company that came out explain went the a/c panel. I advised him the unit had feron put in there last Oct and the amount Air Squad claim they put in there. The other company explains my unit only takes 5lbs and 8ozs. The company serviced the unit in Oct 2015 quoted me the wrong amount and you can't put more than what's allowed. Please review ANY COMPANY COMING TO YOUR HOME FOR REPAIRS. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. MAJOR RIP OFF. PLEASE CONTACT CHANNEL 13 ABOUT HIS MATTER.  MY COMPLAINT WILL GO TO THEM. Our 10 year old water heater gave out and started leaking. I requested repair service around 6am through my home warranty company and received a call from Air Squad around 7:45am to schedule an appointment.

Our plumber, Karson, was friendly and informative. My husband and I had questions about the process of replacing the water heater, and he was very patient with us.

The following day, Heather, informed us our new water heater was ready and scheduled installation for the following day. Out of curiosity I asked her what brand it was, but would have to confirm with Karson. She gave me a call back and left a voicemail since I was away from my phone.

Overall, our experience went smoothly. Definitely 5 stars for customer service.

Jose provided excellent service on the initial site visit and follow-on leak detection.  On the follow-on visit he found the real problem that an inexperience craftsman would miss, the swimming pool shutoff valve, which looked like a leak in the foundation.  So we didn't have to do expensive repiping and restoration.

My Home Warranty Company referred Air Squad Heating & Air Conditioning to me on a Sunday night.   On Monday morning they called and fit me into their schedule for Monday Afternoon. I was pleased with the person I spoke to on the telephone. When the technician came he was very polite. He fixed the problem in about 5 minutes in my attic. One week later the air conditioner stopped working again on a Friday night.  I called on Saturday morning and again they scheduled me for Saturday afternoon. The technician arrived on time was polite and fixed a new problem this time on the condensor on the outside compressor in about 15 minutes. I would highly recommend Air Squad Heating & Air Conditioning

We have American Home Shield and they gave us this company and they came twice.
First time they came out they said we had too many windows and it wouldn't go below 80.
Second time they came out (The next day) I had to request a new thermostat because my temperature went up to 90 in the morning.
Called insurance to request a new company. They came the next day and said the thermostat was faulty and that we would need Freon and a relay switch.

This company said absolutely nothing is wrong.

I highly do not recommend this company.

Horrible customer service at the office end. Waiting for four days now. When I called to see what happened, they said they called, but no missed calls on my phone. They said they left a message, but no message on voicemail. Then they blamed me for scheduling out another four days out. 110 degree days with a 92-year old mom at home. They didn't care. Last weekend my AC failed and I initiated a service request with my home warranty company (AHS). I was assigned Air Squad, and immediately started looking at reviews online. As is usually the case they ranged from horrible to great, which always makes me nervous. But I would like to report that I had nothing but a great experience. The technician, Egor, came out, listened to my concerns, swapped out a capacitor in the compressor and I could again feel cool air. However, hours later it seemed as though the cool air wasn't being forced out and therefore not keeping up with the rising temp. So I called back and scheduled another appt for the next day. Again Egor came out, listened to my concerns, went up to the fan in the attic unit, discovered a failing capacitor there, and voila, all is good now! My 24-year-old AC is working great and is meeting the need with the 105+ degree temps this weekend. Egor was great, friendly, informative, listened to my concerns, and oh, by the way, actually called to see if he could come a little early both times since he was already in the area. The service calls were over before they were even scheduled to start, which worked great for me! So from an AC perspective, I would recommend Air Squad.

Let me tell you, Air Squad is AMAZING!  Angel came out on a super hot Vegas day and put in some work! He was super nice, calmly answered all my questions, and did an A+ job!  When something wasn't up to his standard, he kept at it, redid it a couple times, until it was done to his satisfaction.  Definitely no shoddy work and my AC was humming along in no time.  If you have any AC problems do yourself a favor and call Air Squad and ask for Angel!  You'll get a great price, great work, and completely worry free!!!

Total scam. They were sent out by my home warranty company (AHS) to replace a leaking water heater. The warranty policy stated that the water heater and all components were covered. The technician came in and immediately 'discovered' multiple items that needed modifications that he said weren't covered by the warranty and wanted to charge around another $400. This was for a standard water heater in the garage (with zero modifications). I talked to AHS who agreed to give me a payout if I didn't want to use Air Squad. I was able to get a new water heater installed by a professional plumbing company the next day for the amount of the payout.

After reading people's mean reviews I felt obligated to put my good review in here. Company responded to my home warranty call extremely quick, showed up on time and resolved my problem. Our furnace wasn't working and apparently only needed to clean the sensors which he did and change the air filters. Worker left some dirty footprints was the only thing otherwise all was good!

My experience with this company is just awful.  I had a slab leak, and used my home warranty which connected me with Air Squad Heating and Air Conditioning.  To begin with, the plumber who showed up to estimate did not wear a mask.  He put one on, only after I told him that residents were immune deficient.  He appraised the job and I was called later with a quote of $3,480 ($1000 to be paid by the home warranty) and that the job was major and would take 3 days to complete.  I took off work to be home when the job was scheduled.  The same plumber came back to do the job, again only wore a mask after I told him to, and didn't wear one while doing the work.  He completed the job in 5 hours (taking a 2 hour break in the middle to get parts - which he had to go out again because the part was the wrong size).  So after 5 hours of actual work, they wanted me to pay the balance of $1240.  I told the plumber that I would not pay that amount and I wanted to speak to his boss.  They over estimated the cost of the job and I lost 2 days of work.  
He put me on the phone with his boss, who informed me that the home warranty company - American Home Shield - only paid them a couple hundred dollars - not the 1k that I was told they were paying for this work.  After arguing with me, they finally agreed to drop the price and make my balance $600, I wrote a check to send with the plumber.  Shortly thereafter, the plumber returned and the owner called me to demand I owed them an additional $160 because he thought I paid more than I said I did for the deposit.  Rather than dealing with these awful people, I wrote the check.  I will never use or recommend this company.  Stay far away.

This company is a COMPLETE FRAUD USE AT your own RISK

I have had them come out twice one for a hot water heater which they hooked up things wrong so there was a GAS LEAK

Now had to use them for AC they have now come out 4 times still not fixed and now they said they are not coming back out
But not before they TOOK any MONEY
Had to stop payment on a check and am waiting for my money back for the copay

If I could give zero stars I would.  I have a home warranty this was the company they called to provide service.  Called on a Sunday they couldn't schedule us until Thursday.  We had a 11-2 scheduled window.  Got a call at 1:30 they wouldn't be coming out due to the rain.  Now I understand it was raining in Las Vegas however it wasn't raining where my house was at.  Called my warranty company and they were told it was because the unit was on my roof.  At the time of the scheduled repair it was verified with both the home warranty company and the repair provider that the unit was located on the ground.  The  warranty company called them back this time the excuse was it was outside and on the ground and unsafe and they couldn't reschedule for several more days.  3 excuses and no attempt to help the situation.  At this point I told my warranty company to tell them to not contact me as I would not allow them to come to my home.  I've lived in Las Vegas for 22 years and have never experienced a company that has worse customer service!  You left us without any air for 5 days and wanted us to go several more in the middle of summer in Las Vegas. I'll make sure that every friend, business contact, and real estate contact I have know NOT TO USE you EVER!!!! and I'll recommend the company that scheduled us within a day and fixed the unit within 15 minutes.  Maybe you should get into another line of business if you don't want to service air conditioners in Las Vegas.

They are ABSOLUTELY the worst. DO NOT EVER USE THEM, they serviced my hot water heater under my home warranty 9 TIMES and it is STILL NOT WORKING CORRECTLY and I don't have HOT WATER.

DO NOT EVER USE THEM FOR ANY REASON. Also they don't answer my calls anymore, so now I call my home warranty company and they call them instead.

2nd time they have come out under home warranty. 2nd time they have tried to defraud me over the AC by telling me the wrong part was broken (reversing valve) and then telling me they need to charge me 900.00 to refill my freon that was not covered under warranty.

I TOLD MY HOME WARRANTY COMPANY they were defrauding both of us because I have AC professionals on staff that ACTUALLY KNOW how to repair problems. My home warranty company did not want to listen to me, and told me to take the payout for the 670.00 repair they said I needed for changing out the reversing valve that wasn't broken.

I gave up arguing with them took the payout, and just so everyone is clear (I've already emailed all the information to my warranty company) here's what the ACTUAL problem was:

1) the thermostat was incorrectly set to heat style heat pump (all Goodman units are cool style any qualified technician would know that)

2) electromagnet on reversing valve was not operating correctly (20.00 part and qualified technician would have checked this and know this was the issue)

3) capacitor need to be changed it was on it's last legs (again 20.00 part and qualified technician would have checked this and know this was the issue)

I had MY technician who ACTUALLY knew how to repair AC units fix the problem and fix my 40.00 repair and save me 900.00 for freon that I didn't need and made money off of the 670.00 payment from my warranty company for the work that wasn't required.

DON'T EVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REASON. ANY COMPANY WHO WOULD NOT ONLY TRY TO DEFRAUD THE HOMEOWNER BUT ALSO THE HOME WARRANTY COMPANY THEY WORK FOR OVER 1570.00 FOR A 40.00 REPAIR THE HOMEOWNER DIDN'T EVEN NEED SHOULDN'T EVEN BE IN BUSINESS, AND IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME JUST READ ALL THE OTHER 1 STAR REVIEWS ON THEM HERE.

This company is so dishonest. Very disgusting how they handle business. I have home insurance and I reported to my home insurance that I had a leak, someone from the company called to set up an appointment for their technician to come out and fix the problem. During the phone call I explained that I knew where the leak was coming from because I had the same leak back in 2018 so I gave the worker previous information about the leak for her technician. He came out here, made a hole in the wall to fix the problem because it's the only way to get to where the leak is at . It's taken a month and a half for this company to respond to my insurance company how big the hole was that the technician had to make in order to get behind that leak. For a month and a half this company has been giving us every excuse in the book on why they are not able to provide the dimension of the hole, some of the excuses they gave us was that the technician wasn't available and that they would get back to us. A month and a half of it ! Finally I got fed up and I told the insurance company that it's taking too long and they needed to contact them again and not get an excuse why they can't provide the dimension of the hole and finally this company lets us know that the technician claims that he never made a hole in order to fix the leak. They have no records of it. So I asked to speak to The manager and she claims to me that she was the one that called me to set up the appointment and in her notes she has records that in our phone call when she set up that appointment, that I supposedly told her that I had some third-party open up that hole before my insurance company came out there . Which doesn't make sense why would I have A third-party Open up my wall and not fix the issue !?!or why would I have anybody open up that wall knowing the fact that I have home insurance and knowing the fact that my home insurance has covered the same problem with fixing the leak and then also having someone come patch it up. and they're also saying that their technician did not report that he made a hole in order to fix the leak, so now they're making it my problem the fact that their worker didn't report their proper steps of when they come into someone's home and what he does when he comes and fixes issues .
This company instead of seeing the whole picture of how they could've misunderstood the very first phone call and that their worker is not reporting what he does at peoples homes, they rather lie instead of taking accountability of their mistakes. this company is calling me a liar, they're insinuating that I'm trying to get one over on my insurance company, asking me to send them proof because they don't believe me!?!? .So now they have told my insurance company that they have not made that hole and now my insurance company won't cover it. they won't provide information of what they did in my home with my signature on it, they're just taking what they thought they heard and going with that . The lack of accountability is disgusting. Do not let these people in your home!!! The owners recommendation and solution was to find someone to patch up the hole for a small fee. The owner is crap, Amanda is insignificant and needs to get her ears checked because she clearly can't understand simple information , Joe is an old man that should get fired and retired because he doesn't do his job properly and is a lair and can't take accountability of not remembering something and not doing his job. Useless dishonest people! I will be contacting the BBB so they could make an investigation on this.

Company assigned through AHS. Showed up after 5pm for a 2 to 5pm appointment to look at my A/C Unit, which is on the roof. Michael Ploesch shows up and tells me he won't even look at the unit, because the only way to access it is to walk across the roof on the tiles. He says he might fall. Every other company I ever had out here had no problem accessing my roof via an upstairs balcony and walking across. Some asked me to sign a waiver in case they broke a tile. How does this guy expect to look at A/C Units in Las Vegas if he doesn't walk across the roof? Fly? Get lowered by crane?   I told him his dispatcher was aware of the access and said that was fine, as every other company has. Michael's response was the Dispatcher is an Idiot. Horrible Experience. Now I have to wait to get another company out here.

Great Experience.  My tech was Jaime and he was very professional.  He explained everything to me before he did the work and called the home warranty company on my behalf.   He made sure everything was covered first for my garbage disposal and toilet flap before he did any repairs.  Once it was approved he completed everything quickly without any mess.  I would recommend Air Squad to anyone.

I dislike posting negative reviews, but our experience was so poor that I feel like sharing it may prevent others from encountering a similar situation.

We were getting ready to list our home for rent, so we called Air Squad to service our water heater when we noticed the hot water had stopped working. I got charged $125 and told all is well. When we finally found a renter a few months later, and after just one week of use, I received a text message that the hot water stopped working, there was water all over the garage floor, and it sounded like it's ready to explode. (I have time-stamped pictures from the renter of the water disaster in the garage). This happened in the middle of the night, so the property manager sent out a company to check it out. The next morning, I called Air Squad, told them the situation, and asked them to refund me the $125. They said they'll send out someone for free to give me a diagnosis. So they sent out someone, but I never heard back. I called them today and was told that because another company was sent out by the property manager (which they already knew about when I called them the first time asking for a refund), they simply said all warranties are void, and I do not get a refund. The Air Squad receptionist on the phone said that the technician had said that because the water heater was unplugged, they couldn't give a diagnosis -- and because another company could have tampered with their work. I found my old receipt to see what they had done in the first place to fix the problem, and which cost $125: Reset gas control valve.

If I could give them a zero I would. This company has been neglecting service on my property probably because I'm using a home warranty. After calling to schedule they would not allow me to schedule until a later time. Finally with they said they could only get me in the next day at the end of the day. After two days of my house at 98 degrees and animals suffering in the heat, they cancelled due to car troubles. I told them I would uber them out, asked why they couldn't use another one of their vehicles and the front desk guy couldn't do anything for me. He said he would reschedule me again for the next day again in the evening. He would not let me speak with a manager or a supervisor. This company is terrible. I don't understand why Home Warranty folks use these garbage companies. So fed up right now.

I had a guy come out he told me he had to come back with a part came the next day said he couldn't fix it because he couldn't find the problem didn't bring the part that he said Because that was not the problem had to wait 1 week with no ac and it's 110* I'm about to give birth any day now and with 2 toddlers at home because this guy didn't know what he was doing he said he had to send a senior technicians which I took as someone that actually knows what they are doing
it took a week but Josh the 2nd guy that came that actually knew what he was doing found the problem and was so nice to actually squeeze me in the next day to fix it if you hire them ask for Josh M. If he would've came the first time they would've gotten 5 stars

Im disgusted . I'm being gouged during 110 degree heat by the same tech. I have a split level home with 2 air conditioning units. I called HWA 3 weeks ago. They sent out Air Squad. The same tech from 2 weeks ago fixed one unit that I thought was working fine, charged me the $75 service call & $100 for 2lbs of freon. He said the 2nd unit which clearly isn't working, needed the pipe to be cleaned out. I asked specifically if there was any additional cost, or more freon needed. He said no, I need the ok to return for a 2-3 hour job. I waited 2 weeks for him to return, while my power bill this month doubled. He returned today, & all of a sudden, I need 8 lbs of freon & owe him $400. He claimed there was no supervisor to talk to, & that I'd agreed to this cost by phone, I did not. I have a young son, & a disabled elderly mother that visits & need this repair as promised.

5 stars for the service tech. If possible, request Egor. The guy was friendly, efficient, timely, and honest. He kept a bad situation from getting worse. My A/C works better then it ever has before. I would recommend this company highly.

I was amazed to see how fast this company reacted to our repair. Melinda showed concern, and made it happen. Our service tech Josh, had a great attitude and was extremely pleasant.  In a short time he repaired our unit!!!  Great Air Conditioning Company!!! Many Thanks!!!

I was referred to Air Squad by my Home Warranty Company American Home Shield.  I received a quote and was told what was wrong with my AC system from another company.  I spoke with Rina and she sent Josh out.  He was AMAZING!!  He fixed my AC, explained everything he did, respected my home and saved me a ton of money!!!!!  Thanks for being an HONEST company!!!  You have earned all of my future business.

My AC was kicking on outside on the unit but wasn't coming on inside. I called my Home Warranty folks. They dispatched Air Squad. I looked at the reviews, which are mixed and hoped for the best. They called to make the appointment within an hour of my chat with the warranty peeps. They said they could come that afternoon but i asked for the first window the next day. The window was 9am to noon. They called at 9:02am and said they were 20 min away. Jose and Andrew arrived and were very nice. Jose even offered to take off his shoes when he saw me take mine off. They fixed the problem quickly. Showed me the faulty part. Made no mess at all. Put everything back. They took down my filters so I could replace them. I asked if they could check the temp of the air coming out of the baby's room vent. They did it as well as checked different parts of the house.They even offered to bring my ladder back into the garage. I signed the paperwork. The thing is, Jose and Andrew were efficient but still friendly. I am so happy to have cool air and that it was a pleasant, easy experience with Air Squad.
