We had water leaking into the ceiling downstairs. After much run around from our home owners insurance. I looked online for a plumber to fix the issue. I found Active Plumbing and submitted a request for a quote. This was at 7:30pm and got an immediate response. Craig called me and we discussed the issue and he sent Isaac over the next day. Isaac was very professional, explained what he was going to do and then found we needed to eventually fix the flooring around the toilet as well. He proceeded to fix the issue and so far no leaks! I would recommend this company to anyone in need of a plumber.

Great service and pricing. Danube's team not only planted the trees in our backyard but also fixed our irrigation system and lights. Our shower needed repairs and Danube was able to do it all on the same day. Will definitely use them again and would recommend to those who are looking to have any kind of housework done. It's hard to find trustworthy contractors in this town but you don't have to worry about it with Danube.

Mechanical Express was enlisted by my home warranty to come to my house and make repairs on a toilet that had an issue draining slowly over a period of time. Cameron (I think was his name) showed up this morning and then proceeded to inform me that he would measure the tank and pick up a replacement toilet.
Cameron even told me that the tank sitting on my existing toilet was loose and needed some sort of work to fix it.
Cameron stated that he would call the warranty company for approval on his way to the store to pick up the toilet. I received a text from my home warranty company stating that my claim was now closed. Looks like these folks are no longer answering calls and are trying to cash out on a quick claim. Please heed caution when using these people.
Currently I am looking at the toilet they were supposed to fix and see that it has completely drained out again..... I have asked my home warranty to ensure Mechanical Express is not called for any further claims with my warranty company.

A big THANK YOU to Junior for taking the initiative to call me back yesterday and making things right between ICE Heating & Cooling and myself.
Junior came out to my house this afternoon (at the appointed time) and spent nearly 2 hours looking over both AC units that cool my house. He was very thorough and explained to me what he was doing in a manner in which I could understand it.
Thankfully there was nothing wrong with my system other than having to compensate just a bit more for my upstairs temp due to the heat. No repairs needed. No up-selling. No bait & switch or terminology I couldn't understand. No costs incurred as promised.
I had originally given ICE Heating & Cooling a 1-star review yesterday. Most companies take their bumps and move on. Most companies seem to forget that word of mouth in today's informed society can either make you or break you. Junior called me back immediately to remedy the problem.
I have to be honest, I have never received a call from a company I had reviewed. The call caught me unaware.
Junior never asked me to revise or delete my 1-star review. He did ask however that I consider giving ICE Heating & Cooling another chance in the near future.
ICE Heating & Cooling was given that second chance today and they did not let me down. Keep in mind that even as Junior was leaving my house this afternoon, he still did not ask me to revise or delete my original 1-star review.
ICE Heating & Cooling can take it in the chin, dust themselves off and come back in spades! The courtesy and professionalism was there. Thank you Junior!
Now if only all of these other 1-star rated companies would just follow suit. Way to lead by example ICE Heating & Cooling!

Our ac unit went out and we called Best Ac. Alex came out and gave us a quote for a new one. He was very nice and really worked for us to get everything we wanted. They came out the next morning to install it. All the workers were very nice and polite. I made sure they had cold water as it was during record setting temps for us in this dessert area. They were very grateful and got my unit installed. I highly recommend this company.

I don't understand the bad reviews. We have been using Hawthorne for about 3 years now. Yes, they are more expensive than some other companies but their employees are all background checked and we have never had a complaint about their work. They have always been on time, very professional and they take the time to explain everything. Yes, they do have a sales pitch on certain products but they aren't overly pushy.

Talk about awesome service!!! My A/C went out yesterday, and these guys came out last night and fixed it in a jiffy! They even fixed a setting on my water pipe/valve that kept making a banging noise for no extra cost! These guys were very professional and fairly priced. Read the reviews of Bumble Breeze decided to call for maintenance and inspection of our system which is 14yrs old. Roberto was the tech that came out, he was very professional and courteous. He was very thorough and intricate in a details performing the inspection. Watching him take off the top of the AC unit and point out some shoddy workmanship of the last guy who repaired it.
When completed it was very thorough of pictures of the unit and really pointed out the age of our system and the signs of rust that were coming through the coils. I would have went with the maintenance program, but it's time to replace the system. They will be coming out next week for an estimate to replace the whole system. I'll obviously get a few estimates before deciding which company to go with but Bumble Breeze has set the bar pretty high so far.

This company was the contractor for our home warranty on our new house. We noticed the upstairs air conditioning didn't seem to be working on a Saturday. Filed a claim with our warranty that day. Got a phone call from Air Squad on Sunday morning and they were at our house on Monday morning about 945am and the job (the blower had to be replaced) was done a little after 11. Service tech was polite and efficient. Very satisfied with their prompt customer service!

AHS home warranty contracts with this company. You got it. Bottom dollar unless they are looking to make you pay. Tech if you want to call him that doesn't know his stuff. Unable to locate a clean out and wants to put a new one in for $500. Really? If he knew what he was doing he would know it was located on the first floor. Looking to rip off people. Luis is an absolute all-star. Our upstairs a/c has been unreliable all summer. We've had issues with our warranty company, and sometimes with scheduling through the company, but every single time Luis has stepped foot on our property he has done everything it takes to get things fixed. I know he takes pride in his work and his service.
Calling to schedule hasn't always been the easiest, to be honest, and that has been anxiety inducing, but every direct communication we've had with Luis has set us at ease and helped us understand what needed to happen to get our house cooled.

Very disappointed with Sunrise Heating and Cooling. We have lived in our newly constructed home for 1.5 years and our AC compressor went out completely. Compressors can go out early, but this is very uncommon. Most compressors last 10-15 years. The motor and dual capacitor were both fine and the compressor was grounded. Through my research, in most situations (not all), this is due to an overcharge of liquid refrigerant. I explained this to the service department at Sunrise and all they did is argue and say that there is nothing that they can do for me except to feel bad for me. They only have a 1 year workmanship warranty (there's a lot of companies out there that have more than one year). Since this happened outside the 1 year mark, they just say there is nothing we can do for you. They did say they would send out a technician for $85 (seems high to me), but when I pressed them, they said they would send him out for free and then just apply the $85 to the labor cost of replacing the compressor--a charge of $1100-$1300. I had quotes from 2 different quality AC companies to replace the compressor for $650, if Sunrise wouldn't cover the labor cost (which of course, they did not.) Sunrise took no responsibility and made little to no effort to extend themselves to figure out the problem for us. I am not a happy customer and will not use them in the future mostly for two reasons. 1. They are more expensive than other quality AC companies in the valley and 2. Poor customer service by showing little care for the situation and taking no responsibility.

So one day I was walking through Home Depot and those vultures who try to sell you something ( an outside vendor) walked up to me in the aisle with the toilets and asked me if I was interested in an appraisal for my air conditioning. At first I thought this was a little weird, being asked about A/C help in a toilet aisle until I found out that the company did plumbing as well.
Rebecca was very sweet and informative and knew her script very well in trying to sell a new a/c unit for a house. Being that Las Vegas needs air conditioning during the summer months, I thought it might be a good idea to price a unit as I had no idea about the unit attached to the house I just bought.
Not only did I have an appraiser come out, I had also scheduled an A/C tune up with the same company who was to try to sell me a new unit. The Appraiser was timely, and rather early, when it came to the 8-10am time frame, he came more around 8am. Not bad when they know A/C units are thousands of dollars and there are definitely other choices and companies in the Vegas Valley to choose from.
The Appraiser told me that my unit was in good shape but since i had an appointment for a tune up the next day, he wanted to wait and see what the technician found before trying to sell me anything... fair enough.
So the next day, im sitting at home all day and figured since im only paying for a $39 tune up and not getting a potential new system which would have cost thousands, they would come closer to 2pm for my between 12-2pm appointment. So its after 2pm and i get a call from them and they said your appointment has been cancelled because there were a bunch of emergency calls and no one can come over for your tune up. Are you kidding me? how is that no one can tell me ive been cancelled on until after my appointment? complete and utter bullsh*t if you ask me. So I ask them if they only have one or a few techs and they said no, just not enough to cover my appointment. Again, seems to me as if money talks to this company.
Figuring I had no leverage or any other options, I called the salesman who said he'd wait until the tech does my tune up and told him I was cancelled on and couldn't believe that I waited all day. He assured me that he spoke with the people who was doing the scheduling and since I waited all day, I wasnt about to wait anymore. He told me that he would make it right and if I had any other time to do the tune up, he would make it happen.
Flash forward to yesterday. I gave the salesman a call and told him I am free all day tomorrow, can you make me an appointment sure enough he told me got you down for between 10am-12pm. Again, I shouldve questioned the whole thing.
Today, I waited till 1pm... nothing. Called him back and he thought it was for friday. Let me check, yesterday was wednesday which would make tomorrow THURSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Idiots I tell you. They have the worst scheduling ever, no one knows what they are doing, and as for making it right? Not a chance. Mr Ken Goodrich (the owner of this company) should get his fat ass off his high horse and get down and see what is going on with his company. Maybe a call to parent company ARS/Rescue Rooter will get him out of his leather chair and back to business.
WOULD NEVER SEND ANYONE I CARE ABOUT TO THIS COMPANY. They only know you when youre about to spend thousands and they dont know you unless you are already a customer and not a potential one.

Gabriel was amazing! He was very personable and fun to to talk to but made sure he was working the whole time while he talked. He also made sure to take the time to explain everything in detail to me and what each service cost and why it was necessary. He even did work that was unnecessary because he could see that it just needed to be done! I would highly recommend Gabriel to any or my friends or family. And yes hey really give you a free flashlight for having them come over and take a look at your unit. They are in it for the long term and want to keep their customers they aren't the quick fix guys that will be back in a month or so.
