HISTORY
Established in 1996.
In 1992 Stan and Alice moved to Las Vegas with the goal of founding and operating the best mechanical contracting company in the state and in September 1993, they hung out their Sunrise Mechanical shingle. A big break came in January 1994 when a prominent, local builder called to say that he was greatly dissatisfied with the performance of his HVAC contractor and was willing to give Sunrise a chance to make good by completing the installations on three tracts, including 150 homes under construction. The Gordon's jumped at the opportunity and began work the next day--Saturday. News of the excellence of Sunrise's workmanship and warmth of curbside manner quickly spread. In little more than a decade, Sunrise grew to the level of installing heating and air conditioning systems in over 5000 new tract and custom homes each year--roughly 25% of the Las Vegas area's new home construction.

Sunrise was the original installer of our AC. One day, in August of all times, it just stopped working. I called Sunrise and they had a tech at my house the same day.
Evan came in and had it up and running in no time. He was professional and courteous and completed the job quickly.

I have some rental properties in the Vegas area. Unfortunately, the A/C unit stopped working at one if the properties in July. The unit was still under warranty, and SS has the contract to fix the units: No charge for parts, only for labor.
First of all, SS charges a $60 service call, in addition to the actual work they perform. In this case the labor was $484. Most contractors charge you for the service call only if they don't perform the work.
However, what really pissed me off is that the unit stopped working again in Sept. I received a quote of $180, including another $60 service call: WTF?!?!?!?!?! In my mind, SS should have run a diagnostic back in July to see if there were other issues. This would have prevented a secondary visit and inconvenience to my tenant. I spoke to someone at SS and he said they only run diagnostics if you pay for an annual service contract. Sounds real sketch to me, and a way to extract more money out of a client.
I filed a complaint with the NV Contractors Board regarding SS's shady practices. I don't believe I should pay for two service calls, let alone one bc SS performed the work. In addition, they have a captive audience bc they have the contract to perform the warranty work.

They tend to roll it all into one fee to confuse. My service man showed me the part on the way in but neglected to show me the old part on the way out. Talked to the girl in the office, misleading conversation regarding the price; she said she would get back to me after the holidays, we shall see. Researched the part on the internet and found the part ranging from $15-25 dollars; being charged $259 to replace the part in less than 1/2 hour and then charging for the annual service club fee $159; $418 on social security seems a little high to me; my Bryant system is 10 years old and every time i've had service, they keep promoting a new system or an added air purify system. My service day was 12/23/2015
They were professional. Gave all prices and costs up front. I saved $400 to get and Install a standard WH compared to another company. Brad explained the new pilot light procedure. Refreshing to have service technician that took the time to explain the new product. I'd use them again.

They fixed a big mistake made by Elite AC. Mike is great, seems very honest . They come on time , which is amazing.
My mother purchased a new DR Horton in Laughlin NV. The AC stoped working after three months on a Sunday. She is 81 yo and couldn't stay in the home without AC when its 112 outside. I call the 24 hour emergency service four different times Sunday and never got a response
until Monday morning a 8:00 AM. We had to move her to my house until the AC was fixed.The tech did show up on time at 9:30 Monday morning and got the unit working in a couple of hours, He said it was installed incorrectly and repiped the condensation line.
I'm happy to say we still have honest people in this world. I live in Ca my elderly aunt AC went out in Vegas. The caregiver gave me the number that was on the thermostat to Sunrise. I called and explained the situation to them regarding the AC the best I can like I said I live in CA. Sunrise was out the next morning at 8 am to repair the AC. About a hour later the technician called me and gave me the best news . He said sir everything is cover under warranty we replaced that part SIX YEARS ago and your aunt's AC is up and running have a nice day if you have any problems give us a call back. Very disappointed with their customer Service I called because my AC went out in my home and I called KB customer service and they told me to call them because they were the ones that installed it. once I spoke to them I found out I had no warranty on the labor only on the parts .the guy quoted me $49 to check it and $95 an hour for labor when I called, he also scheduled an appointment for the following day from 2 to 4, once we hanged up five minutes later he called me back and moved it from 11 AM to 2pm. I waited the next day and nothing. I called at 2 o'clock and a young girl answered and just transfer me to his line which he didn't pick up so I left a voicemail asking if they're going to come. But I never got a call back. The time is around 2:30pm and my house is hot and I'm frustrated so I called back and I told the girl the situation so she transferred me to another lady, she checked and said I was scheduled from 2-4 pm there wasn't an 11-2 appointment.. I was upset I stayed at home all morning waiting for nothing. She then said he was in route and should arrive soon. so he arrive at 2:40 pm which the guy was very nice it took him less than 30 minutes to diagnose the problem .. he called the office and told them the issue and he told me he was gonna leave to go get the part , and when he came back to put the part it took him less than an hour to do it .. so when the bill came it was 265 when it should've been less ... I explain to him the quote I got over the phone but he had no no clue so I decided to call the company but it was close . So I just paid him so he can go home . I called the next morning and the same guy answered and I told him my issue but he obviously didn't care because now he changed his story!!!!! First he said he never called me back to change my time !! Which I said check your call logs !! He then said that $49 would be charged for the first 30 minutes which he never said that!!! He never mentioned first 30minutes!!!! But the guy diagnosed it in less than 30 minutes anyway!!! Then he said it was $95 an hour but he decided to give me a flat rate without even checking with me since it would of been more than $700!! But he added if I would of paid for the part ... BUT MY PART IS UNDER WARRANTY!!! Then he said that because the guy had to go get the part it was more !!! like that is not my problem that is not my issue he never stated that !!! so he decided to do all the stuff without consulting me and just charged me whatever he thought was best...he was so unprofessional so rude I just told him to have a great day !!! I also told him to check his calls and hopefully he records them so he knows exactly what he said to me because I write stuff down and I wrote everything down when he was giving me quotes.. I should've gotten charge way less the only reason I use this company was because they had my AC under warranty.. I don't understand if he was the owner or just an employee but he made this company look horrible!!! He lied !!! And kept lying that's not a company that could be trusted!!!
My air conditioner kept tripping the breaker on our 3.5 year old house. It was past the new home warrantee period, so I decided to call Sunrise Services, since they installed the original unit.
They answered right away and were able to lookup the unit to determine the parts were still under the manufacturer's warrantee. They also let me know up front about the service charge and that I would be responsible for labor. Knowing this information up front showed they are concerned with transparency, which a lot of companies do not do. I decided to schedule an appointment, and they were able to fit me in the same day.
Dan was the HCAC Tech who showed up, and he was at the house exactly at the promised time. He ran a few tests, and determined the capacitor on the compressor was bad. Within 15 minutes, all work was done, Dan checked the other parts fir wear and tear,, and he checked the inside to ensure the temp coming from our vents was cool.
During the entire service, Dan did a great job, was professional, and I will continue to use Sunrise Service for any future HVAC needs.

How about ZERO stars. My house is 11 months old. The AC is out and this website says there is 24/7 emergency services. I have been calling the emergency line non-stop since 11:00pm and it's now 1:00am....correction now it's almost 1:30 AM. Who the heck is even working the after hours tech line? Don't publicize and promise 24/7 emergency services when I'm in an emergency and no one is contacting me!
I had an issue with two of my systems not cooling . They sent Ignacio out who quickly diagnosed the issues with both systems . Sunrise was upfront with their pricing and Ignacio quickly repaired both of the units . I will definitely use them again and recommend them to my neighbors . Thank you Sunrise .
TRASH COMPANY! 1 of their technicians is CLEARLY on drugs, tweaking and constantly moving, dilated pupils and etc! Technicians name is Anthony, has tattoos on his arms and drives a green Aviator! DON'T do business with this company. The owner is a racist too! BIG TIME! Be smart and dont do business with this company!
My heat went out early evening on December 23rd. I called Sunrise early morning on the 24th and left a message ... I also left a second message with the after hours emergency hotline. No return call.
I ended up calling another company mid afternoon on the 24th and was able to speak with scheduling and set up a service call for first thing Monday morning. They arrived on time and the repair was made. I was very pleased with their service and will be calling them for all future repairs.
I was a repeat customer for Sunrise. My last service call with them was mid November for a heating repair. I paid a fortune for a new thermostat. I have always had the same technician for previous repairs, but this time, they sent a different technician. I wasn't comfortable with him or his attitude.
I know it was holiday time but at they very least, they could have called me back and set up an appointment. As of today, January 1st, I have never had a call back.
Company installed bad condensers in brand new homes 1 year warranty and knows the coils are gonna fail rheem has a class action lawsuit for failing coils and my home builder and sunrise decide to go with those I see their services almost daily never use this company they use crappy projects then will charge you after it breaks 1 year later
This low class company , we called to check out our A/C that acting weird , hot during the day and cold at night , phill comes in and inspect my unit to hit us with 4700 bill of repair and ask my girlfriend how is your credit before even we ask why it's 4700 ? Before even we understand what's the damage specially he spent 30 minutes walking around the home with indicator !! Excuse me sir are you air conditioning tech or credit analysts?? What a company!! STAY AWAY they only want to sell you new A/C .. SHAME .
It's really too sad you continued to lie to your insurance company (your own employee or you on the behalf of your employee) instead of taking responsibility and AT LEAST paying our $500 deductible since running our car off the road and giving empty apologies!!! Apparently you are fine with negative reviews online which just shows further immaturity for any company out there. If you feel like doing the right thing feel free to respond to this post and I can always update them to reflect that you are an honest company trying to do right by those it encounters on a daily basis.
Great service. They are my go to HVAC company. I signed up for the biannual inspection and service and I've never been disappointed.
I completely disagree with Heather's review of Sunrise. We relocated to the Henderson area in June and sellers had put in new air compressor unit in, but when it got really hot, it would not hold at set temp of 79. We had home warranty so we called them. They sent out a horrible company which wrote up an inaccurate report to them and they refused to pay because of it. We were recommended to Sunrise. Cody came out, he was great. Gave us a completely different report of the problem than the previous company. Gave us a quote but said if it were him, he would try again with home warranty people to get it covered. We sent out his report and the warranty people agreed to pay! We of course called Sunrise to have Cody fix it and he did a fantastic job! Thanks Sunrise!
Very difficult to find an air conditioning company that you can trust these days.
Sunrise is The exception to the rule.
I've been using them for 19 years since I bought my house new. They have always been fair with me and have never let me down. Very rare these days. Sunrise is the only A/C company I would ever call to work on my system.
Again another great job! Very trustworthy company! Unfortunately my heater wasn't working. The technician said the wiring wasn't hooked up properly. Same technician came out that fixed my a/c. My heater worked just fine last year. I'm pretty sure the tech before him from another company messed with the wiring. He insisted that I needed a new unit when I didn't. Lucked out when I found this company.
We had Sunrise come out to do regular maintenance on our AC, water heater and, heater and we were extremely impressed with not only the price but the service.
They did an amazing job and even took the time to point out things to us that we should have looked into before our one year warranty was up with the builder.
I appreciated their attention to detail and friendly service!
Oh and they even call you to remind you when your service is due. I honestly love that because it is one less thing I have to stay on top of!
I suggest giving Sunrise a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.
I had done business with this company for over12 years. In 2012 they installed a new air conditioner unit. I was told it had a 10 year labor and parts warranty. The warranty statement was hand written on the contract. That was the only warranty info I was given. Two years ago the air conditioner failed and Sunrise repaired it under the warranty.
However, the air conditioner stopped working again last month during the recent 108 degree heat wave. It was still under warranty since it was installed a little over 9 years ago. This failure was beyond repair. Sunrise refused to honor the warranty because I had failed to service the unit every year. This was the first time yearly servicing was ever mentioned. No such requirement had ever been cited or relayed to me. Sunrise then produced a two page document showing this requirement. I had never seen this document before nor did anything on this document show it had been given to me.
As a consequence, I have had the system replaced by another company at huge expense.
Sunrise can not be trusted.
Our a/c went out at 10pm on a Sunday (on one of the hottest weekends this summer of course) and we were able to have someone come out the next day. Enrique was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond and even came back to make sure everything was in perfect working order when we had a small glitch again later that evening. He was extremely thorough, friendly and professional and is definitely the reason for the 5 star rating!! He also answered all of my questions about ongoing maintenance options, etc. Thank you, Enrique!
Just called to get an estimate and after being on hold for an extended period of time someone picked up the phone just to hang it up. No need to call this company back, if that can't operate a phone properly, I'm not going to trust them on my A/C.
Very disappointed with Sunrise Heating and Cooling. We have lived in our newly constructed home for 1.5 years and our AC compressor went out completely. Compressors can go out early, but this is very uncommon. Most compressors last 10-15 years. The motor and dual capacitor were both fine and the compressor was grounded. Through my research, in most situations (not all), this is due to an overcharge of liquid refrigerant. I explained this to the service department at Sunrise and all they did is argue and say that there is nothing that they can do for me except to feel bad for me. They only have a 1 year workmanship warranty (there's a lot of companies out there that have more than one year). Since this happened outside the 1 year mark, they just say there is nothing we can do for you. They did say they would send out a technician for $85 (seems high to me), but when I pressed them, they said they would send him out for free and then just apply the $85 to the labor cost of replacing the compressor--a charge of $1100-$1300. I had quotes from 2 different quality AC companies to replace the compressor for $650, if Sunrise wouldn't cover the labor cost (which of course, they did not.) Sunrise took no responsibility and made little to no effort to extend themselves to figure out the problem for us. I am not a happy customer and will not use them in the future mostly for two reasons. 1. They are more expensive than other quality AC companies in the valley and 2. Poor customer service by showing little care for the situation and taking no responsibility.
A/C at my business was making awful noises coming thru the vents, and not cooling worth a darn. There are 3 units on the building. I called Sunrise Air and a technician came out same day to service the unit. Turned out to be a loose belt and a vent that had been damaged by wind. The bill was $142 and I was ecstatic. They could have easily made up something and told me a different story, with a bigger bill. I'm grateful for a company who gave me good service and was totally honest.

I received top customer service from this company. From the service writer/ despatcher to the servicemen. Showed above and beyond skills incuster satisfaction. Also explained prevention maintenance measures. When thermostat didn't tr regulate itself completely after service, kept in touch over the phone to make sure things normalized. They did. I highly recommend this company.
Kevin from Sunrise Service Inc. Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing came to my house today to fix a leak I was having in my master bathroom sink. He also resealed both sinks so they look extremely professional and just great all together. The previous installer did not seal the sinks properly which made it a hassle when water got along the edges of the sinks and made it a pain to wipe up. I had to lay a towel flat on its edge and slide under the edge of the sink to get the water up. Now it's perfect the way it should be. While he was here I asked him a question about why my toilet would run and keep running without a jiggle from the handle. I thought I knew how to fix that issue but I obviously didn't and Kevin showed me why it was doing that and explained everything to me during the process. This was also true when he was fixing the leak and sealing the sinks. He pointed out a couple things that I was doing wrong that was going to end up costing me money in the future and I am extremely grateful because no one else took the time to point these things out. He gave me tips that I could use for years to come and maybe save some money or do the job properly myself. He did not ask for any money for the extra work and valuable tips he gave me. I can not say enough positive things about his work ethic or his attitude. Sunrise Service Inc. Heating Cooling and Plumbing got very lucky when they hired Kevin. You can tell he takes pride in his work. I got very lucky by getting Kevin to come to my house and fix issues that other plumbers failed to do so. I will be a life long customer and call Sunrise Service Inc. Heating Cooling and Plumbing for any of my plumbing or heating and cooling needs in the future. I will recommend them to my family and friends if they ever need a great honest company!
Called emergency for AC that went out on a Sunday night in extreme heat. All I could do was leave messages and no one ever responded.
I called the next morning and they said they got a message that I called. Didn't anyone get back to you? they said. Wow, shouldn't you know that answer? It is an emergency after all.
I was promised a call back with an explanation. How do I know I can count on them in the future? But no call back.
A company that cared would find the problem and correct it...so the next customer wouldn't have to get a hotel room to escape the heat. A company that cared about returning phone calls would keep a log and refer back to it.
Now the first time I go to use the heat, it doesn't work either. Brand new home too.
The saving grace is that once on track, they dispatch someone quickly and the technician is excellent.
This is an update to an earlier review. Sunrise Service deserves a solid 4-Stars-- I suppose I am holding back on 5-Stars for fear of grade inflation.
I made an appointment. The service technician arrived as expected. There was no apparent problem with the A/C units, but the tech did indicate that a capacitor was showing erratic readings. As the capacitor in the other A/C unit needed replacement on a previous visit, I decided to err on the side of caution and replace the capacitor.
When it came time for payment and invoice generation, their device had connectivity issues. When it became apparent that I did not get my invoice via email, I called the back office. On this occasion, it only took one call for me to get my invoices.
All-in-all, Sunrise Service provides a reliable service.
Our builder used Sunrise to install two AirKing AK200LS exhaust fans in our garage to remove some of the hot air so the aircon could work. One of the fans developed an extreme rattle. On June 1, Sunrise's tech determined that the fan was defective and needed to be replaced under warranty. Since then, crickets. Sunrise didn't even have my paperwork on file, I sent it to them. Twice, because they also lost the first set I sent them. While waiting for the new fan, we have called over and over and over to find out what's going on. We've been passed around from Donna, then to Jan and now to Hailey. Nobody returns calls. If you actually reach someone, they promise to look up the status and call you back, but NOBODY EVER RETURNS CALLS! Then I found out that the fan has been readily available online from numerous suppliers, including Ferguson here in town, but Sunrise won't use any source but their own (unidentified) distributor. Apparently their distributor is incapable of getting the same fan I could order online and have tomorrow. This kind of BS has gone on now for SEVEN WEEKS. The last word was that the fan would be in July 18 and we'll call you, but guess what, 3 days later nobody has called. They don't even bother to call to say it wasn't delivered. Are they completely incapable of returning calls? I've been patient for weeks now but this is too much. This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with.
UPDATE: One week after I filed a complaint with the Nevada State Contractor's Board, they did come out and replace the fan. This was almost three months from the initial service call with no explanation for the delay. It's good that they finally honored the warranty but you should never have to go through all this for a simple fan replacement.
Chris flushed my Rheem tankless water heater today. My niece recommended Chris because she had previous experience with him at her place and he put in a Halo 5 water softener this week.
For one, he is a really nice personable guy. I felt comfortable with him right away.
He made a walk through with all my sinks and toilets in the house and looked for any problems. He tested the hardness of my water and the chlorine level. Chris suggested some maintenance tasks I should do around the house.
I trust him and will only have him for my plumber.
The price for the flushing was very reasonable.

Mr. Phillip Cape, Sunrise Service Technician, arrive at my home early and immediately went to work to troubleshoot my A/C issue. Mr. Cape discovered a pin hole leak in the system after careful examination.
As he went about his work, Mr. Cape explained in detail his assessment and what my options were. I decided to purchase a new Carrier unit and not reply on the current builder grade unit that in all likelihood would fail again.
Mr. Cape is a most knowledgeable and professional technician and an example of Sunrise committment to excellent customer service.

After a rough beginning getting on the schedule, technician came to the house. I had nothing wrong and wanted a system check on my 30 year old house. However, I did have 2 needs: 1) drain & fill 3 year old water heater, & 2) change washer hoses in laundry room as they were original & looked scary. Max (technician) fulfilled both 1) & 2) above. Additionally, I had other issues I asked him about, including leaking angle stops under all 3 bathroom sinks. He changed all 3; cost me a bit more but chances of future flooding issues are now greatly reduced.
Original estimate was $319 but w/ 3 repairs beyond original scope of work, final out-the-door was $445. This price included 1 year discount club service, inlcuding emergencies. They will be back in 6 months to replace anode rod in water heater as it is showing signs of corrosion. With our LV water mineral content (extreme hard water), this happens faster than you think and can eat a $1000 water heater in a matter of 5 years.
May I add that we are fortunate to have Max (technician) in our state from Chicago where he achieved journeyman status. He brings his exemplary skills to Sunrise and they are wise to have him on board. Highly recommend.

We have sunrise mechanical (not by choice that's who Richmond America provides when you build a home). They will not send a technician out, 10:30PM until 8-10am because they do not care if you're under home warranty. Do not choose this company on your own choice because i would give them 0 out of 5 stars.
Have used Sunrise Service for past 10-14 years for A/C repairs always had high praise and never used anyone else . Last Summer called them to come out as A/C was not cooling I was told I needed a new A/C to the tune of $7- $10,000 was a little leery so I just kind of suffered thru the rest of the summer and used a couple room coolers I already had to sleep at nights as this was upstairs unit I was told that needed to be replaced . A week ago I called out a different A/C repair company unit was checked it works perfect only that the unit had been turned off outside at connection . I'm very disappointed with Sunrise A/C don't know if this was oversight or just a scam to have me buy another unit I think it was a scam as I remember when I was told I needed another unit repairman begin asking about financing a new unit he appeared in a hurry to get job started right away as the next day someone in office was calling me about purchasing a new unit. Can't trust you anymore you've lost a long time customer because of your Greed .
I purchased a new home in March 2020 that came with 2 A/C units installed by Sunrise Mechanical. 2 years later, my unit started making noise. I contacted Sunrise multiple times to schedule service. I called and left messages along with leaving my information on their website. No one called. For weeks, NO ONE CALLED. Finally, today we get someone on the phone. They advised the compressor would be covered under our parts warranty for the home and I would only pay for labor. I was quoted $1,350 in LABOR to replace the compressor!! I could understand if this included the cost of the part. But no, this was only LABOR! What the hell is going on here? This company is shady. We even asked if we could just trade the part and install it ourselves and the excuses started. Your business sucks.
The plumber who replaced our sink faucet took advantage of my husband's lack of knowledge about plumbing. The plumber called me at work and said that they will install the faucet for 170 dollars. So I said, yeah, my husband's at home.
When the plumber arrived in our house, he told my husband that they'll install the faucet for 170 dollars with the additional of 30 dollars to install the dispenser.
What? Is that right? The dispenser and the faucet installation are two different prices?
What the hell??? I am really irritated...This company is opportunistic who thrives on their customers ignorance.
I am a new customer for their AC and has paid 274 dollars for AC/heating maintenance. Because of this incident I will cancel my contact with them. I will not patronize companies who are opportunistic, liars and thrives on their customers ignorance.

We have used Sunrise for years. First for our HVAC and more recently for plumbing as well. I like that I see the same technicians again and again for our annual service appointments and several have told me they really enjoy working for Sunrise. Our most recent visit was for a toilet issue. Chris called to say he could be there early for our appointment, explained what he was going to try and what it would cost depending on what he ended up needing to do. We were both very happy when the repair was quick and easy.
Justin...ask for Justin! He was professional, personable and punctual..not necessarily in that order. The busted water heater was a nightmare. He came through with a temporary setup of the new heater until the water damage and mold was resolved. Much appreciated.

Am very pleased Jerome L. our service technician. He does a wonderful job servicing our yearly maintenance for our ac/ furnace. With summer just around the corner call Sunrise and let Jerome check out your ac.
We had Jerome L come out today to check our a/c. What a great guy. He made sure that he called me 4 to 5 times today so I knew he was behind schedule. Also how great their customer service is. Very courteous & friendly & how great the service was when Mr Jerome came & checked everything. I will have them come back for my heating to be checked. If you need a/c service don't hesitate to call then. Absolutely awesome!!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR A/C INSTALLATION or anything. My 2 year old home has a faulty a/c unit, cracked with freon leaking out and the thermostat has never worked. They said it's just bad luck for me. WOW. HORRIBLE. 3 weeks ago...they refuse service and replacement and they refuse phone calls. Nightmare. Bad Company..2 YEARS OLD.
This has got to be the cheapest air system ever!!! I have called the service people 6 times!! At this point I need a brand new system!!
I don't know about any of the negative reviews here...but my experience has always been great...they were the original installers of the HVAC Systems in my neighborhood (might've been called Sunset Air back then) in 1997......flash forward to 2013 and I had a home warranty through AHS so every time it broke they sent some tech out from a Mickey Mouse company fixing it with a band aid...I got fed up with something always breaking so I decided to just install all new HVAC system...Mike was my sales guy and I shelled out $7,000 for a new energy efficient unit...even tho my heat worked fine the furnace unit in your attic works in conjunction with your AC so if you don't replace whole thing your not getting the Energy Efficiency...fine do it..at that point I didn't care...my unit was STILL working ...I WAS NOT desperate and they did not take advantage of me because it was broken...I was just DONE with it going out once a year or so...AC is a must here in Vegas so it's an investment...anyway...installed in June 2013...10 year warranty...you just have to pay for a yearly maintenance...no biggie and if they find something not working they replace it...it's covered...my air went out last night (on a Saturday night of course) and I called them at 9pm...they have an emergency line...dispatcher was very pleasant and said they could have someone the next morning which is a Sunday...between 9-11 am...they said if I had called earlier they could've sent someone out that night but the poor on call guy still had 4 more stops as if 9pm (can you imagine...July in Vegas!)...I said no of course that's ok...9:15 am the tech is at my door on a Sunday morning!...the unit is fixed in 15 min..he replaced the Capacitor...zero charge...now tell me what company sends people out right away on a weekend to fix your air??? You get what you pay for...I'm just writing this to help someone decide that IF you are going to replace your unit...this company stands by their warranty...and by the way...I do save around 50-60 bucks a month in the summer on my bill due to the Energy Efficient unit..and my house is only 1400 square feet...
Horrible experience with Mike the technician. He came out to fix a blown capacitor that is still covered by a home I purchase and wants to charge me $180 for trip fee and labor alone. That price to me is outrageously high even with the capacitor being warrantied. I tried asking him if he can work with me because money is a little bit tight and he said to call his manager. I said ok let talk to him. Mike said don't waste your time because he is going to tell you the same thing he told me. I was confuse. He just told me to call and don't call his manager. I told Mike let me call your manager and he started giving me an attitude over the phone. I told him there is no need for that and I would like to refuse his service. That sent him over the edge and started screaming dont you ever call us again blah blah. He hung up and I called one of the supervisor right away to resolved this problem.
I spoke to Shanon (one of the supervisor) and I explained to him what happened. He told me to pay the $180 and he would credit me back $60 when it is completed. I said that is fair and I will reschedule.
I called numerous times afterwards and spoke to Joseph (dispatch) and he wouldn't take my call. I texted Shanon and he replied that I have been added to do not service list. I am kind of glad I did now.
If you would like to be treated like crap please give Sunrise Service a call. They are awesome at charging high prices and shitty attitude technicians.

My mother's laundry room drain collapsed under the slab it was a nightmare after dealing with two different plumbing companies Chris from Sunrise Service definitely was a blessing very professional and talked us through everything highly recommend him for any and all issues with the home in future
I have never used their service but I will give 5 stars to the driver of the company truck that cut me off. He had options (signals), but he is so magnificent he didn't need them. He speed off in a hurry. 5 stars for not hitting me and his ninja like driving skills!!
My husband requested I leave this review and when he asks me to specifically name the techs, I knew they had to have provided excellent service. Thank you to Brandon and Raymond for providing excellent service at our home. During these hot months, the AC is essential. Thank you again, we appreciate it very much!
We have used Sunrise for the past 15 years and Never had an issue. Recently one of our units went down so we called Sunrise, they were able to come out within 24 hours. We needed a new capacitor and fan blade and was charged over $700 for these items. My son who was out of town at the time and works for a commercial HVAC company said the fan blade and capacitor should not have cost more than 100 bucks. We were at their mercy because the temperature was over 115°. Very disappointing that they take advantage of senior citizens.
Pretty bad service. Said an estimate would cost one thing, the guy came out and handed a bill double what was told to me.
Called sunrise on a recommendation from my home inspector. Prompt service, friendly, but you will pay for it.. they are not cheap.. had them come out for routine maintenance on A/C unit $159 this also includes a winter service soo I guess it's not too bad. During inspection technician found oil leaking from capacitor recommended getting new one to which I agreed $165. I went on Amazon the thing actually costs $12... :/
This place was AWESOME!!! The service was efficient, thorough, courteous and very knowledgeable. My issue was low pressure on the water. They checked and metered each faucet, hot water heater, water softener. They were of cheerful disposition, kind and thoughtful of cleanliness. I have never had such an enjoyable experience with a repairman before!!!

I have been a customer of Sunrise for both AC and plumbing repairs and they have been honest and ethical the entire time. I connect with Mike in the office and he dispatches the tech who can best service my home. Most recently, I needed a 2nd opinion on a plumbing leak. Ryan F. was sent to my home to diagnose/find the leak. It was a homeowner's claim with a challenging location and a more subtle, slow drip. It took some time and Ryan was able to locate and repair the leak. The entire time, he was patient with my questions and concerns as a homeowner. He arrived on time, was neat and clean when working, and took his time to check and see that repair was done correctly and made sure no additional leaks were present. He was available afterwards to answer additional questions I had and was always easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend Ryan F. and Sunrise for plumbing repairs.
I have used this company many times over the years. This is the second time they have saved me from wasting thousands of dollars after their competition found alleged serious issues that were not present. I am forever grateful and encourage everyone to use this very honest company

Bought new home early summer. I decided to check the heating system. I turned up the thermostat from 77 to 80. No heat. I called, the receptionist told me to check it in the winter cause it's too warm outside. Huh?? Surprise, it did not work in the winter either. The service person came out and said the gas to the unit was not turned on. The next month I started hearing rattling noises in the attic when the heat or a/c was on. The service person said the motor seems unbalance and would order a new one. A different service person came out a few weeks later and said the motor actually seems ok. He checked all the metal panels & made sure they were secured. The noise did stop, but said he did not identify the actually cause of the noise. A few months later the noise returns, Again someone comes by & looks around the attic for 15-20 minutes. The noise stops for a few months but returns. I called again. This time they said the system is out of warranty and they will not provide service because the noise may not be from the same cause. What? They never identified the cause in the first place. I go up to the attic myself and immediately notice the noise is not from the furnace but from a metal strap. The furnace is suspended with metal straps and one of them was rubbing against a wood roof rafter. Apparently, the strap would move a little bit away from the wood beam each time a service person played around with the furnace. Then the furnace/strap would slowly moved back over time. I put a piece of rubber in between. It's been a several years. No problem since.
This company is extremely shady. I purchsed a home from pardee homes in 2012, brand new. Sunrise mechanical itstalled the ac system in the consructiom phase. I called these guys out 2 years ago to fix my unit because it stopped working. They said the capacitor had died and they replaced it. Then, 2 months ago, our ac stopped working again. I called them again to make an appointment within thier window. I took off work to meet them there so they could fix it. I waited for them but they never showed up. I called thier emergency # and i got voicemail. Extremely pissed off, i called the emergency # again and asked where thier guy was and he said the hvac guy came buy. No one knocked on the door, no one called. He said he would send the guy back over and he showed an hour later. When he went to fix it, the service tech said, let me look at it. He walked over to it, walked back to his van and grabbed a part. I asked what was wrong with it and he said it was the capacitor. I said you just replaced it 2 years ago, how come its broke again? He had no reply, and i said are you putting garbage parts in my unit so you can make another service call in a couple years for another 85$ service call? He said that the part he put in was top of the line. He said parts are covered in the warranty of the unit. I asked how much labor is and he said it was 85$ for labor and 85$ to come out ( when he finally showed up). I said how long does it take to change the capacitor and he said a couple minutes. I asked how much the part costs and he said about 80$ and i looked up the part he put in and it was anywhere from 6-28$. Now i think the part is broken again and i am going to have to replace it myself. My point is, this company puts crap parts in so you have to call them out again. And they cant make or keep appointments to save thier life. Dont use this company.
