Had another AC issue and called these guys at 10pm yesterday.  Not an emergency, but they got a tech out here first thing this morning!  Less than 12 hours after I called and the problem us fixed and the AC is humming!  Juan was super professional and fast.  Highly recommend Nevada Residential!!

Active plumbing is quick and committed to your needs. I was extremely please to have them call me back right away, in this town it can be hard to get people to committ to a phone call and you can wait days for a return, but not with Active Plumbing!

Called Saturday night for a plumber to replace our main water supply valve that was frozen shut.  He arrived in 45 minutes, was courteous and did the work quickly for a fair price.  We're very happy with Rakeman and Jim.

We really enjoyed our honest technicians! They thoroughly inspected the cooling side of our air conditioning unit, as explained without any unnecessary up-selling.  During their visit, we were shown where in our AC unit, to look for clues on what to consider saving funds for future repairs or replacements.  Something that was particularly impressing was their professionalism.  Our technicians showed and explained everything that they were doing, at the time they were inspecting.  In the past, we have not received hands on walk through of our AC unit, and what to be made aware of as a homeowners.  Alaskan brought to our attention where to look, what to look for, and how long to wait for having professional inspections of our air ducts, unit pressures, and temperatures. They are informative and detailed in all aspects of HVAC; we learned that this acronym stands for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, and is the technology of indoor [and vehicular] environmental comfort.  
We highly recommend ALASKAN for all your air conditioning needs! In addition they have great billboards, a cool mascot, and a company that values being involved in our community!! (we actually won a certificate of service during a local Boy Scouts of America event)

So we used Thor on two occasions: a leaking toilet and a broken ac unit.  Both times they were able to send repair men same day. First time I paid $140 which I thought was fair and reasonable for one hour of work. The second time I paid $450 for the ac repair.  Before calling Thor I got diagnostic done by another company and they were pushing new unit for $6500.  I'd say spending $450 made me actually happy.  

Both times I was happy with the employees sent to my house; nice, polite, seemed knowledgeable and, most importantly - effective.  I don't know if they are the cheapest in town, but I would trust them on both - their work and their estimates. Will definitely call again if need be.

I called and received a slot to fix my hot water heater between 6-8 p.m. Surprise! Pure Plumbing called at 1:30 and said there was a cancellation,  could the technician come in about 30 minutes ? Yes, ma'am!
Opio and Pierre arrived promptly.  Initial diagnosis was to replace the thermocouple. Upon removal,  it was rusted and the lower half of the tank was too.  We had to replace the heater. They took about two and a half hours from start to finish.  Very polite,  gregarious and personable gentlemen.  I brought them iced tea and iced water throughout the job because it was HOT! They were appreciative.
This is a professional company.  I reccomend them and will use them again.

Tried their phone number, said it was disconnected.  Tried another phone number listed on their web site, same problem.

In response to the owner, how would I ever get service from you if your phone number wasn't working?  Perhaps your phone lines only went down for the 30 minutes I needed your services, bad luck on my part I guess.

This was the first we used mechanical express, our house AC went out on one of the hottest days and a call was made before their opening hrs and a message was left, they returned our call ASAP and made sure they had technicians onsite within approx 2.5 hrs and diagnosed the problem within very short and gave the ESTIMATE to our home insurance and returned back with the compressor and parts needed and completed the job making sure we had AC before they ended the day. The Technicians are very professional and went over anything, bottom line they will have all of my business going forward. Thanks to the entire Team and Cameron and his partner.

Well I hope the plumber is more precise then dealing with the office personal for this place.

I spoke with Stephanie on the phone and was inquiring about an appointment time and base price for a call out and she couldn't initially give me either of those things.

She stated that the price would be determined upon arrival. Ok that's fine as some jobs take longer then others. However it is a wide variety of call out or initial fee base amongst the plumbing companies here in town.

Next the appointment time. She was rambling on incredibly quickly after I asked when the appointment window would be and finally she said we only make appointments for 8am, other then after that its whenever the plumbers get around to the job? After 3 or 4 attempts of clarifying this she checked her schedule and found out in fact I did get the last 8 am appointment for a free diagnosis!

Usually with these companies if the first person you speak with is off then it only gets worse.

Worst customer service. They came out have a bid for a job.  Showed up late started job and then left.  Office called later and stated they wouldn't return.  Left our office not working.  Very unprofessional.  DO NOT USE THEM.

While getting prepped to list my house for sale, my fireplace needed repairs so I called this company because they had such good reviews here on Yelp. They sent out a tech named Zach and he was great. Very polite, knowledgeable and professional! I appreciated that he got the job done same day and I no longer have this issue holding up my sale process. I'll definitely be referring him to anyone needing an honest and experienced heating and cooling technician. 5 stars!

My home warranty AHS sent a plumber from this company for kitchen sink and toilet drain. First visit, the plumber said there was no problem. I guess the water drained while waiting for service. After 2 weeks it clogged again. I called them to come back. For Second visit, another plumber came and checked the problem. Snaked it and said there's wax in the drain and snake won't go in. That's it. Did not do anything. He called AHS to say, service request closed.
Waste of my $100 for service call. Do not call this company. Do not waste your money. Their technicians do not know what they are doing.

Staff were excellent at taking care of business, regardless of the circumstances with my cheap home warranty, Airpro did not make me the middle man. Even my technician Bob,took action and gave me straight forward talking and information.

We signed for a service program. At the last regular service a technician came. He  finished and then proceeded to tell me our ductwork had a large hole. He showed me a picture assuming I wouldn't climb into the attic to see it. He then told me We needed new ductwork at a cost of thousands of dollars. That was strange because I had just paid a ductwork company to check, clean, and repair anything needed. I brought in another A/C company and asked them to check. They found some insulation had been torn that matched the picture of the purported hole. There was no hole.
     I was aware the technician was trying to sell me on new ductwork that wasn't necessary. I canceled my contract as I lost trust.

I used other companies in the past, but after finding Hawthore, I will never call another company for my AC or water heater needs! They have been honest and fair from the get-go, send the same people out when they can, and are so friendly, but not in the fake way.  They provide maintenance for FREE for military and first responders (I am a registered nurse). If that doesn't say what kind of company they are, just have them provide any of their services and see for yourself!

DONT USE THIS COMPANY.   THEY Will RIP YOU OFF!!!   Paid them to install new water heater, it lasted 1 day.  Called them to check out why it stopped working.  They said they would try and get some out.  Never heard from them.  Called them the next day, they said they would try and get out there.  When pressed for a better time frame, Chris,who said he was the owner said he wasn't coming out to repair it.  Great customer service.  The only reason I gave them 1 star was to warn other customers.  DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
As a follow up.  I paid this company several hundred dollars to bring my repair up to code.  When it was inspected, it failed.  I will have to pay another company to come in and bring their work up to code.  It wasn't just a simple fix.  They will have to replace the plastic drain pan, replace the plastic plumbing that will melt, and put in insulation to keep the water heater from burning you.   So sad that they are allowed to maintain their license so others can be ripped off.

although responsive; watchout for the labor charges with parts; watchout for the annual club service fee. Determine the price of the part or parts and then the labor fee (separate). They tend to roll it all into one fee to confuse. My service man showed me the part on the way in but neglected to show me the old part on the way out. Talked to the girl in the office, misleading conversation regarding the price; she said she would get back to me after the holidays, we shall see. Researched the part on the internet and found the part ranging from $15-25 dollars; being charged $259 to replace the part in less than 1/2 hour and then charging for the annual service club fee $159; $418 on social security seems a little high to me; my Bryant system is 10 years old and every time i've had service, they keep promoting a new system or an added air purify system.
