Thaison Shetler was dispatched to my home to unclog a kitchen sink. He's a consummate professional, very engaging and knew exactly what he was there to do. I would highly recommend this technician and this business for your next plumbing needs.
It was 100+ degrees, and the AC just stopped working in the middle of the night, I originally called the property manager, their tech simply told to wait a couple of days because they were too busy, who would accept this for his family, thanks god I called Moore and spoke to Debbie, immediately schedule a tech in the next few hours, thats how human should be treated, thank you mike.
A very dishonest company from top to bottom.
After one of our service which cost us $800 because we need a part, our ac unit started to leak we called back for another tech to come out and tell us we need another $1550 to fix the problem. Now I called and asked if they could explain why the first tech hadn't discovered this major part malfunction on his service, I was told he need a special key to find said part. We had them out again because we had paid for a year of service. On the next service we were told we had rust in one of our ac unit trays and it was very dangerous to our health to be breathing that all in and it would cost $1000 to change. My husband said thank you we will have someone look at it to the tech surprise. This tray is actually plastic and had no rust.
I would never recommend this company or use them again.
Insanely expensive. I was quoted over $9000 to change a traditional water heater to a tankless system.

I have looked for my review about this compand I cannot find it so I am going to rewrite it. Be very careful with this Company Goettl they do not send out technicians they sent out salesman. I was told that they would call my insurance. Company So that this would be covered under homeowners warranty. They didn't call my insurance company. It was a 115 degrees outside. And I am a senior. I feel they took advantage of me. I am now stuck with a payment I can barely afford. Be very careful with this company I urge you to shop around if you can. If I could go back, trust me. I would not have called them. Please buyer beware.
Great service. Their customer service is great. Had a talk with Tiffany and she suggested I get membership. No pressure or anything from her. She told me all the perks of being a member and was so sweet about it. She then proceeded to schedule me with a ac and heater check up months in advance, which I love! I don't have to call them to do anything. Tiffany went above and beyond.
What a terrible, terrible Goliath of a company. I called and got routed to a call center, (of course.) Could not talk to Goettl directly no matter what the need is. I made an appointment with the 'Call center and was told that a technician would be there between 1-2 PM. Well of course I received a text that stated they were very busy and a tech will arrive by 5:30 PM. I got a text at 4:30 PM saying a Tech was on the way. An hour goes by and still nothing. , no word from them. I call the Call center, and was told they were Extremely busy and if I would like to reschedule for another day. I asked about the text they sent stating they were On the way and the call center said, uh, there is no known ETA . I cancelled the requested service.
If you want to deal with a company that outright lies about appointments and a company that forbids you from calling them and insists that the call center is your only option forbids you from calling them directly on the and that has a $95 service charge then these are your guys!
Ever since I've joined Goettl I've had nothing but bad experiences.
The rejuvenation that was done ended up disconnecting one of my ACs and had to have another guy come out and fix that In The middle of summer.
Then they call me saying I need to schedule some service from my Sadie membership and then cancel that appointment and the excuse was they were to busy. They called me!!! I didn't call them. Then rescheduled and did it again but this time just got a text canceling the appointment with the same excuse.
Now I call the office and get the automated options which are all the same (went through everyone) finally got to talk to a guy and said I need to speak to the guy who called me and got sent to his voicemail.
I am done with Goettl it's just a matter of getting out of this membership. Very frustrating.

Great company. Called them up Shannon answered the phone. She was great and quickly got someone come over and see what the problem was. Our service employee named Jason was awesome and gave us great information. He quickly changed the ignitor and briefed us on operating the unit and warranty. Will definitely use them again.
We lost our upstairs AC unit on June 14th and called Goettl for help. Everyone that we dealt with was amazing. Richard was here the day the AC went down and was incredible. He took his time and explained what he thought we should do and we purchased not one but 2 new units for our house.
The install and work started the very next day and Rick, Robert, Andrew and the whole team were fantastic to deal with.
When you have to make a huge investment like this you want to work with a company that treats you well and does the job great and quickly.

Update*** still haven't received a call from the company! Thanks for nothing.
Everything was going great with the company until this person showed up. His name is William Harris. I am 100% sure my shady landlords bribed him to tell me that my AC was perfectly fine. This was after 2 perfectly certified technicians told me the AC was in terrible condition and strongly suggested that the landlords buy a new AC. This guy was so unprofessional that I am surprised he is employed.
This William Harris started illegally recording me. I am not even 5 ft tall. He only did this to try to intimidate me. What type of service is this.
If he represents the company, unfortunately I have to give 1 star. One person can mess up an entire company's reputation.
I just spoke with the manager Manny Gonzalez. I am pretty sure he is just as classless as his buddy William. Thanks to them both I am now convinced this company is a joke.
Please give the smaller family owned companies your business do not bother. I totally feel like a victim. I am actually scared for my safety knowing that these incompetent losers were in my house.
Let me start off by saying the techs--the people who actually DO the work--have generally been awesome. It's the office staff. Every single thing I have scheduled with this company has been screwed up except the emergency visit when my A/C froze up in the middle of a Vegas summer. First they messed up my address on the furnace install. Then it took more than twice as long as I was told. A few days later, I called to ask some questions about the scheduled duct cleaning the next day, only to be told I wasn't on the schedule. I rescheduled. As I was driving my dogs to daycare to have them out of the way during the duct cleaning, the manager calls me TO SCHEDULE IT. Today, after having specifically told them I would be out of town this week, they sent a drywall tech to my house--no confirmation ahead, no reminder, nothing. It's a good thing they do decent work because that's the only reason I gave more than one star. The hassle is almost not worth it.

We had them replace our a/c and furnace earlier this spring. Great service, great price and we've been very happy with it through the hot summer.
True story, Goettl replaced one of my AC units in 2020 (I have two), they have been doing schedule service checks on both units since then, this past Saturday, I had another service call, the technician did his job, wrote up his report, and shared with me the report. He pointed out several issues, but nothing pressing, the downstairs unit was working (the older one), when he left, the Downstairs unit was not working , so I called back ad same technician came back and told me that my control bold was faulty and needed to be replaced, the cost$1300 plus, i told him I was going to check with my home warranty company first, I made n appointment with them, the technician told me that some wire were cut, a fuse was removed so if the heater was running it would not shut off, serious fire hazard, my claim was denied because of the tampering, but he fixed everything for $250. Now you can formulate your own decision, How reputable Geottel is, i know for me, I will never use their services again.
They spend a lot of money on commercials to make it seem like they're the best. Do your research before you give them a call based on their ads. I waited 11 months for them to complete installation of my water system up to the standard of the contract I signed. I get that it was busy with covid but after several calls and a year that seems ridiculous. Also their sales rep lied to me in saying that the system had a satisfaction guarantee. I'm not satisfied and was told the system is mine regardless of if I'm happy with it. Extremely overpriced. Their techs are very friendly and helpful though.
Got to give five stars out to Greg jacquez with Goettl for really caring and going above and beyond to get me a bid on a new air conditioning unit in my rental property where there was no AC . He was very knowledgeable and professional with excellent customer service . I will be using this company for my other rental properties . Thank you so much Carolyn m.
I highly recommend you call around for 2nd opinions. We signed up for their monthly 14.95 a month for a year and they maintenance yourA/C and heating but what a waste. They are dishonest. It's all about inputting fear in you and you end up spending money with them every time they come. It's all about sales. These are all great sales people. I think extremely dishonest company who trained their people to be sales people and pressure into homeowners into their sales pitch that just inputs fear in you so you says yes do it. It's 500 bucks which will save me thousands of dollars down the road even though nothing is broken.
Just wanted to give thanks and props for the excellent service I have received with Goettl. I have used them several times and they have always done right by me.
All of the workers have been great so far but I just wanted to say that Tru is seriously the best! You guys should give him a raise. He's fantastic! It's obviously no fun having to spend money on things like clogged drains and plumbing issues but he's pleasant and funny and puts you in a good mood anyway. Just an all around good guy. I'm so glad you sent him. I'd like to request that you always send him whenever I need you in the future. Thanks again. :)
Absolutely horrible company!
We used them over five years ago for a quote on an air conditioning unit we had some water leaking from. From the first moment the tech arrived and proceeded to evaluate the issue, we could tell he was not being honest. He then spent 90% the visit of notifying us expensive the issue would be charged by them to fix it, and upselling us everything but the kitchen sink (wait, I think they did try to upsell us one of those too). Luckily, we went with another company for a second opinion and paid 1/10th of what Goettl quoted and took the time to explain to us why NONE of the gimmicky upgrades Goettl tried to upsell us, weren't necessary and little to no value.
Then for a solid month every single day Goettl called asking when we were going to have the repairs done. We told them we were going with another company but this did not stop the nonstop phone calls. We finally asked for a manager and explain to them what the other company said and they said they noted it (you could hear the insincerity dripping from his voice) and then we asked them to please stop calling - which they didn't. We finally had to block them because they wouldn't stop calling.
Moved into a new home that the seller volunteered a small repair (from the inspection we requested to be fixed during the purchase process) and they had Goettl come out to fix it. The exact same thing happened as it did over five years ago.
Smug and shady technician showed up didn't look at the problem; said they knew what it was without looking and then proceeded spend the rest of the repair visit trying to upswell us a bunch of unnecessary items again. We finally asked the guy to leave and did not have him do the work. Good riddance! Our new neighbors got us in touch with a very reputable small company who repaired the minor issue for less than $30. And we never had an issue since.
Goettl is hands down the worst hvac company around. How they have not been shut down is beyond me. Don't be fooled by their small town cute ads - when they show up at your home be prepared to find out what all the negative reviews are about. This is not an isolated customer. They have done this over and over - Just ask your friends and neighbors and people you trust and they will tell you the same.
Goettl is so bad I hardly doubt Goettl would use Goettl to fix issues at their own business.

They were AMAZING!!! I am a Senior living in a Senior Community with very bad credit score. I ended up in urgent care highly dehydrated because of the heat. I've had 4 companies come tell me that I needed a new unit. When they got here they were going to replace my compressor, I'm guessing I had a previous warranty they found. Come to find out it was my Thermostat. Thank God they are honest and reliable. Thank you get a letter so much for saving my life.
We had a three hour window for HVAC replacement quote. Received text that they were running late but would still make it towards the end of window. After three hour window passed still had not received an update. I texted to cancel and finally received a text that that would send the next available technician. Goettl did not have the courtesy to call or attempt to reschedule.
They are a friendly company but...I haven't had my new unit for 1 month and the been in my house 4 time to repair issues the installers left, and as I write this review I'm waiting for the tech to come back and fix my air, he replaced the thermostat and now it's blowing hot air, I wish I had shopped around before making my decision
Calling Goettl was the best decision next to having a Solar System installed, we've made. The technician (Bronco, yup that's his name...lol), came to do a A/C tune up. I have two units. One was bad and had been leaking. The other one needed a new fan and electronics...which were out of limits. From previous techs I saw that my blower motors were having some issues as well and would need to be replaced. The home was built in 06, but sat idle before being bought in 08. We bought the house in 2013.
We decided that having Goettl replace our units would be the best option. Steve the gentleman who gave us a great deal on replacing the two units, was awesome! We scheduled a day and they were on time and carefully removed the old units and also removed and replaced with new coils and heat exchanger. Great work!!! And guess what?! They cleaned they're mess up and then some...lol.
Today we scheduled a day, as part of the job, they are coming to clean my ducts!
These guys are fantastic... and are TRUE to their slogan. Do it right the first time. The right way... not the easy way.
Last thing... previously to Goettl, our downstairs Master BR...was cold in the winter and hot in the summer and about 10° difference from the living room to the bedroom. That is no longer the case. Goettl did it right AND corrected the issue with our bedroom. Now, we're comfortable all day and all night long.

This place is only concerned with offering extreme solutions and not actually addressing simple fixes. I was having an issue with moisture build up on evap coil. There was excess carryover and it was causing a small leak in the ceiling. All I needed was a fan adjustment and a deflector installed to redirect the moisture into the pan. Their only 3 solutions were replace the evap coil for 7k. Replace the furnace and evap coil for 11k or an entire new hvac system for 17-25k. This place is an absolute joke. Find a local and honest AC company that will actually fix the issue and not just try to sell you a brand new system.

I recently had my air conditioner running on its last leg. After endless battles with my home warranty and shady visits by companies they sent inviting my unit was fine, I decided to give Goettle a call. The receptionist answered the phone and was extremely warm and helpful in my increasingly frustrating situation. To my surprise, she said she would have someone to my house in just a few hours. For it being the middle of summer in Vegas, I was absolutely astounded they had a same day opening when competitors were at least a few weeks out.
Their text messaging service alerted me that the technician was on the way and gave an actual picture with the name of the individual, which I thought was pretty cool. Upon his arrival he took the time to listen to my frustrations and got to work immediately diagnosing the problem in less than 20 minutes. The technician event went as far as to show me his work, what had failed and what needed replacement all to ensure that it was accurate and necessary.
The financing process was quite easy and painless which was completed in less than 15 minutes. After my approval, he recommended three different products to me and we ended up going with the middle line unit. After confirming stock he said he would contact his installation team for service. He asked what time that day that I wanted the unit installed. Still surprised, it was scheduled for only four hours later.
The installation team arrived and they were all wonderful, diligent workers. In about five hours, they had the entire unit installed and functional. They cleaned up every little thing and removed all the rubbish from the installation.
I can't recommend Goettl enough as they helped me in a situation when I needed It most with a solution delivered in the fastest time possible. Forget the competitors and give Goettl a call as I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
Jason and his assistant provided a free 2nd opinion after #1 Plumbing Heating and AC tried to charge me as much as $1,400 for an AC repair, they said everything was perfect and the part that the other company said needed replacing was perfect! Finally a honest AC repair and maint company. They also install new units. Very progressional and sharp team that are clearly honest! Before you allow another AC repair place rip you off for hundreds to thousands give them a chance!
They do things the extra expressive way and not the reasonable way. Still waiting for a response from these guys

We have been in the program. Our ac was 14 years old and hanging on by thread. We Thursday night in crap out they came over got it running for the night . The next day 2 men came out 6 hours later Ac. They were
very professional, clean and made sure everything was none right. The following Tuesday drywaller came out and made the repairs to the attic access. Was better then
builder did . They have a high standard, professional, office personal , techs.
Don't waste your times with the Yelp quote feature. The extent of their reply is 'please call us to discuss'. Why have a quote feature if you don't quote? Waste of time !

Had a water line leak at the meter. Ended up having replaced. Sought several quotes. Goettl verbally quoted approximately $7000 and advised they had financing available. I was denied a written quote with tech stating they are used negatively against them. Eventually had work done by another plumbing service for about 40% of their verbal quote. Hard name to spell. Even harder to trust. Beware!!

Called them about getting a whole house water filter connected to the soft water loop in my garage.
The guy that answered the phone didn't have a clue what a water softener loop was. Kept saying he's not a technician.
And their website is poor, no way to send them project photos.
After waiting on hold for 10 minutes the guy gets back to me with some vague reply about not being able to warrant their work. I kept telling him it's a basic plumbing hook-up.
Bottom-line, this is not the plumbing company for me!
This review is solely based on my experience, reading through some of these reviews is a bit discouraging but I had a totally different experience with Goettl. Are they pricey: Yes, are the reliable: yes, did they live up to my expectations: yes.
I got my ducts cleaned about two weeks ago and it has been the best thing we have done to our house thus far. Our technician Robert G was super professional and bubbly. Got the work done in a timely fashion and we haven't had any problem with dust or anything g like that since we had our ducts cleaned.
I was debating between giving 3 or 4 stars tbh, but 4 stars won out for the customer service on the phone, the great communication on appt day, and the service tech's personality and professionalism. The upselling was quite frankly a turn off, and the pricing is higher than other companies.
My house is 24 years old, so I've been anticipating the plumbing coming up on some major repairs. When I shut off the water to have my friend install a kitchen faucet, the old-school gate valve on the main line busted and stayed closed, which resulted in very low water pressure afterwards (eek!)
I called Goettl on my friend's recommendation, and hands down their customer service is the best. I was impressed from making the appt in the beginning, to when the service tech Jeff G showed up. He was great to work with also, very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions.
So the pricing is higher than other companies, just be aware when you call around to compare. It cost me $1300 for a new main line valve, pressure regulator and fixing the toilet leak. I knew my water panel would have to be repaired eventually, so I asked Jeff for a quote. He called someone to ask and they said around $6k on speaker. When I said it wouldn't be possible for me right now, Jeff was understanding and ready to end the call, but whoever was on the phone kept mentioning financing and how little the payments would be, how I shouldn't let it get worse, etc. I felt pressured to have my water panel replaced. Not by Jeff, but by the guy on the phone! I know I asked, but please be mindful not everyone has thousands to drop on big ticket items.
Purchased over 30k worth of two a/c units for my parents home. When they came to visit in early July the best they could get was 80 degrees. Made a solid appointment for two days later. They were 3hrs late. Come to find out. They wired the a/c units in wrong. They asked me for a review so here it is. You do NOT always get what you pay for
On Saturday, 3-26-22, we set a new high 94. Of course our AC went out. We called our old company, could not make it out till Monday. Called One Hour, They had ETA 3 hours. So we called Goettl a/c. Jeremy was here within a half hour. I have lived In Vegas for 67 years, and that was service. He was respectful and explained our options clearly. He looked at each of us not just my daughter who called. He called his boss And They got us two portable a/c units that night. Come instillation day, They were 10 minutes early. All of them polite And saying Good morning to me. Jeremy, Mike and the man who delivered the portables were respectful, efficient, and kind. I now have a new AC company, Goettl.

The water district sent me messages saying that I had a leak somewhere, after a month I didn't notice anything and one day I walked outside my home at night and seen a glistening of water, I then proceeded to dig up where it was coming from and found out that it was my main supply line. Frankly, I'm disappointed in this company. I had high hopes in 2018 when they installed 2 new A/C units and 2 new furnaces (heat exchangers) in the attic. In other words, they installed everything there was to install to cool my home on the hot days and heat it on the cool days. I was convinced I had found my forever HVAC team and I joined their Club at some $300 a year. My wife and I are retired and living on fixed income, but we wanted the best and did not want to have concerns about our home comfort in our Golden Years.
Here's the problem. They come out twice a year (once in the Spring and once in the Fall) for the price of that Club membership just to service the units and insure they are operating properly. They have now been to my home 6 times in the past 3 years and EVERY TIME they find something wrong! Can you believe it? Brand new units and there is something wrong every 6 months! In addition to the ungodly price, I paid in 2018, I have laid out more money just to keep this new equipment operating effectively. There are so many complaints that I don't care to list them here, but I will describe the latest one.
An A/C inspection was performed on 11/4/2021 almost three years to the day that I had the equipment installed. And it was recommended that I spend another $10,000 on (1) Hard start kits, (2) more attic insulation, (3) a UV Light System Sanitizer, and (4) two surge protectors. That is one-third of the price I paid just 3 years ago for NEW units. Just 3 years! None of those recommendations have been made previously and technicians have been all over my home, as I said, six times.
I have lived a long time and have owned several houses in many parts of the country and have never had this much trouble with A/C or heating equipment even when they were 10, 15 or even 20 years old!
There is definitely something wrong with this picture and the problem is Goettl. I don't trust them. I think I'll return all of their flashlights and try a more reputable company.

I really wanted to believe Ken Goodrich was a good guy from all his ads on the radio. This place is a complete ripoff and all they push is total replacement. $450 just to replace a kitchen sink faucet? That doesn't even cover the new faucet. No thanks. Sadie must eating filet mignon or Kobe beef at these ridiculous rates. On top of that the guy was shady pressuring to sign the contract that he lied about, saying it could be canceled anytime but clearly says if you don't cancel 3 days after you you are liable for the work.

You get what you pay for, and with Goettl that was 100% the case in the best way possible. After throwing in the towel with the first company we attempted to fix our older unit (they were terrible from start to finish,) we decided to give Goettl a call. They saved the day, and quite frankly set the bar for service PERIODT. Jeremy did the initial consultation and was wonderful. Jorge and two other guys (so sorry I do not remember their names but they were great) did they installation. They were punctual, professional, and even seemed like they were enjoying what they do. There is a reason Goettl is so successful, and I highly recommend their services for anyone considering them. Also- Kudos to the text updates with the status of the technican which also includes their photo. Really nice touch.

The company's name should be Moores air conditioning extortion.
I don't know where these good reviews came from as they pushed me into actually using them for AC repair. Long story short, my tenants air-conditioning broke while I was out of town and I needed somebody with experience to look at it. Called Moore's which seemed reasonable over the phone and they came out to service it. Ended up being the starter cap, which is a $20 part and 5-10 minutes of total labor to replace. You can research this on line to see that I am telling the truth. Moores charged me $270 for this repair even though it took the technician less than 10 minutes total to diagnose and replace. I would've done it myself if I was in town but really had no choice b/c my tenant needed AC. Talked to the manager about the cost and he explained to me that the cost covers things like their 'employees gas, medical insurance, and keeps the office lights on at night'. He told me he would give me a company discount to lower the cost to $240. Needless to say, this was not the response I was looking for and I felt completely extorted by having to pay the equivalence of $1200 per hour in labor. Also found out that before I had even paid them the worker had already installed the part, so I was kind of stuck with the bill regardless which was also very shady. Will not be calling Moore's back if I have any AC issues in the future.

Don't use this plumbing company they don't know how to fix plumbing huge mistake. They overcharged and don't know how to fix plumbing. So this plumbing company was called out to make a repair that should be fairly simple, botched the repair and we were supposed to close escrow today but could not because of botched repair work done by their employee that almost positive are not licensed plumbers they must work under the owners license wonder how that will work for them with a complaint to the contractors board and better business bureau all they care about is trying to sell you some crappy insurance they are overpriced and bad contractors

I'm so impressed with Goettl! I scheduled my air rejuvenation service before the summer. My technician David Beleau was extremely detailed and thorough! I have an old AC system (2 units) for my house and he went through everything from top to bottom. He was honest about the issues my system has, which I already suspected I was going to have issues because of how old it is. David B didn't try to hard sell or push me to purchase anything! He let me know what the problem areas are and let me determine what I going to do moving forward. I truly appreciate not only his thoroughness, but his honesty as well. I'm so glad I chose Goettl!

Will at first the Technician they sent out Billy Fuller arrived and I'll say he was super professional, super knowledgeable, really nice guy within an hour we treated him and he felt like family he was able to work us through the details and he had us sold. Will be requesting him specifically for our next inspection.

These people are absolute thieves. Jhun came to my house to fix an ac that wasn't running. He swapped the capacitor and the fan did not run. He immediately went to I need a new ac replacement for 15,700 dollars minimum up to 27+ thousand. The ac designer, Steve, was extremely pushy. To the point when I said I'm going to get a second opinion he asked what can we do right now to get you to sign
I went and bought a new capacitor and swapped it out myself. It's a 28 dollar part. Worked fine. I will be contacting the news, the better business bureau, yelling from the highest mountain that this company are a bunch of predators.
I'm calling my credit card company to do a charge back
One star because that's the lowest. I hope all of the employees at goettl read this. I hate every one of you with the fire of 10,000 suns.

The company came out for our bi annual inspection. We said we wanted an AC kick start capacitor. They charged $570. After we naively agreed, the service person/sales rep called his boss and then the price was raised to $650. It took 5 minutes to install. We then looked the part up. The box was left at our house. The part was $45. It took 4 days and many phone calls to ask for them to remove the part. The have HORRIBLE customer service and take advantage by charging exorbitant prices.
I used Goettl several times. Every time they tried to upsell me. The final straw was when, after they had inspected my system several times, then they said they needed to replace all my ductwork in the attic for $7,000. I'll never use them again.

I came home to a sauna!!TROUBLE. I literally called like 10 different companies on a Sunday evening and they all either said they couldnt send a repairman til tomorrow, wanted to charge an exorbitantprice for a diagnostic,or were going to make me wait hours(DESPITE THEIR ADD SAYING service in less than1hr)and charge a high diagnostic fee!! Keep inmind its humid and over 100 degrees. But then I stumbled upon Moore and sawthe adorable picture of the owners kids , and had to call. THIS WAS THE BEST THING I COULD HAVE DONE!!!The owner answered the phone promptly and had a tech call me within 5 mts.The other companies didnt even callme back, despite me leaving a message with their switchboards. This company is a 3rd generation, family ownedcompany in Las Vegas. You dont find such old fashioned service anymore. I breathed a sigh of relief after talking to the owner, because I just knew in my gut he was an honest guy.FROm INITIAL CALL TO RINGING MY DOOR, AND INSTALLING MY COMPRESSOR IN ALITTLE OVER AN HR!!! AND ON 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND!!!?? These guys were a Godsend that didnt rip me off. In fact they only charge 25 dollars for diagnostic and their prices are very cheap , upon doing comparison shopping, they beat everyone. I got a new compressor for a little over 500 in lightning fast time. The peace ofmind I feel is priceless.My fur babies and I wont be suffering in the heat!!Thank you soo much Moore air conditioning!!Kris , the tech, was every bit as professional and knew his stuff!! Will recommend this company to everyone at my work!!
We had trouble with our kitchen sink since monsoon season started down here in southern Nevada. When we tried snaking it, it only seemed to make it worse, and that's when I booked a quick appointment with Goettl. When the day came, we were excited to have our kitchen sink again. The plumber who came out simply looked at the pipe and wanted to charge up to $2,000. It sounded complicated and expensive with what he told us, so in the end we went with another plumbing service and all they did was snake the drain with a sewer snake. Might be best to get a second opinion.
My A/C stopped working on a very hot night. I Goettl them to fix my system. I was told the entire A/C and heating system was shot and would need to be replaced. The cheapest solution was a $17,500 system, that they were happy to help me get financed for. I applied, but wad denied. I called another local repair service. They showed up the next day, replaced a $100 thermostat. My A/C has worked perfectly ever since. I want nothing from this company. I only want to warn others of the fraudulent experience I had with them. If you use this company, get a second opinion, before following any of their recommendations !

Fantastic experience! I was so happy with Moore Air Conditioning. They were friendly, fast, and professional. When I called them, they came put right away and diagnosed the problem.
They gave me a good quote, and had me up and running the next day. I highly recommend them for anyone's HVAC needs.
We were lucky to have Jeff Gorham as our repair technician! He was personable, explained everything extremely well and even supplied a dog toy for our pet that kept bothering him :)- Price was high to start but adjusted to competing bid by office- so very happy with the quality of the service- personality of Jeff- and company! Highly recommend . Will request Jeff going forward for all plumbing needs.
What a sham, so for the past two years I had them come out for a cleaning and check up. Each time they would quote me some ridiculous repairs in the thousands! Last they were here the guys tried to replace my AC!
I went with a highly rated company I found here and what a difference. They came out fixed my issue told me my ac's look good no need to replace!

It will be air conditioner time again. I want to let everyone know the experience we had with Goettl Air last summer 2021. They wanted to replace both of our units at a cost of $30,000. We paid a deposit. Then after talking with a neighbor he said to get a second opinion. We did get this second opinion. All we needed was a starter switch that was about $30. I called Goettl to get our $10,000. deposit returned. They did refund our money to us with-out complaint. This company was NOT honest. I would recommend that you didn't use this company. OR always get a second opinion.
I have been living in my house for several years, everything was working fine with my system. Until these people came offering free tune-ups now my system is not working properly. I don't know if it was a terrible coincidence, or they have terrible techs, or even if they do this on purpose so they can sell you a new system (which he tried). Either way, Do Not work with this company. Save your money and go somewhere else.

We highly recommend Goettl. It is hard these days to get not only good quality products, but also great customer service! It seems like you get one or the other. Not with Goettl - we got both! So happy with our AC and the techs left a huge impression on us.
When you have techs coming out to your house and they talk to you like OHANA - you know they are good people and that the company must take care of their employees! They were personable, friendly, super knowledgeable, answered all our questions and made sure that before they left, that we understood everything from programming the new unit to who we needed to contact if they could not answer a specific section on the contract.
BIG MAHALOs to the first tech that came out to do the initial inspection of our AC (Josia); to Jason and his crew who replaced the AC unit - and that was not just bringing in a unit - it was tearing all the old shit out in the attic - that was a feat in-itself; the Dry Wall guy (dammit I didnt get his name) - shoots he made the opening to the ceiling look better than it was!!; to the Inspector who did the final inspection of the unit - (darn it I didn't get the guys name either, we were so busy talking about French Bulldogs). All of the guys that came out were not only HARD WORKING, KNOWLEDGEABLE, FOCUSED, and PROFESSIONAL, they actually seemed interested to know who we were. That meant a lot because it gave us the impression that they were sincerely happy to help us out and when someone cares about you as a person, they do a better job for you. Aside from the courtesy of each of the guys, they did not waste any time with the job - they busted their A$$ in the hot sun, in our ceiling - we were in awe at how fast, efficient and CLEAN they kept our home. I thought I was gonna have to clean up myself - I did not have to do anything.
Goettl - you truly have a great bunch of employees in these guys!

My toilet started flooding & that caused a leak from the kitchen ceiling, they were able to send someone within a matter of 2 hours to fix everything. I had Kayleigh Meyer come to my house and this girl is just flat out amazing!!! She was so kind, reassuring, & fixed the issue with no problems. She made me laugh after I had such a terrible day, & she gave me a full detailed explanation making sure I understand everything. I want her every time I have a plumbing issue! I'll definitely be calling back because of Kayleigh, she sets the example of how all the employees should be.

Was very disappointed called Goettl had seen their ads a assumed they were a big company and reliable, in other words a company I could trust. They came out fast. Signed me up for their program at 14.95 a month fast. Inspected the lines and quoted me 3000$ to hydro jet the pipes in two places. I had another company (licensed and professional) come out and do the job for 700$. Now I have an ethical and trust issue with a company that can charge people 3 times the price for the same job . I will not be using the preferred customer program that they signed me up for nor do I recommend this company

Called them because my AC was broken. They quoted $3000 for a one person, 4 hour job so told them to pound sand and got the job done for half of that with the same warranty. Manager called and give me a bunch of BS excuses about inflation but bottom line they were charging $700 an hour for their employee who probably makes 25 an hour. The parts needed were $200 so it was mostly labor.....Message me and Ill tell you who I used..

They claim $80 drain cleaning on the radio, called to have them do it, then they tell me its gonna be $300-500 ! Waste of time.
Let me Just say that I had a technician named David Gonzalez today that redeemed Goettl's reputation. He took the time to do tests that the previous technician did not do. My AC is running soooo much better now ! Thank you David!
IN SHORT: Look elsewhere.
PROs: Very quick scheduling, pleasant customer service, very courteous and knowledgable tech.
CONs: Every interaction is their opportunity to sell sell sell and upsell to the point where it got uncomfortable and we just wanted them to leave. Also, unreasonable prices.
HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED: Found a leak, called and they came out right away - great. Determined the cause of the leak very quickly - great. Said that we need to buy a new faucet and schedule a separate installation - cool. Then came the quote... $89 for just the initial diagnostic visit - fine we paid it, but then an additional $450 for a simple faucet install (we provide the new faucet). Half a grand to swap out an old faucet for a new one? No Thank You!
Got Home Depot to install the faucet for $100 in one quick visit. Would've spent $550 with these guys.
Very nice folks, many bells and whistles, probably do quality work, but all trust has been lost. Will not be calling them back.
I was greeted by the sales team, of course and then once I signed the contract, it was the same day install. I couldn't believe it. I was met by the supervisor of the district Dustin, and also his crew that installs the system consisting of Patrick and Matthew, these individuals are an example of service before self excellence in all they do and dedication to duty is paramount with these individuals. I say this because I have 30 years Air Force experience as a fire fighter and just retired and know that individuals such as these must be recognized for their outstanding performance. Goettl air conditioning provided feedback and honesty during the whole entire process and insured my system was 100% up and running and ready for all the extremes and this gave me the sense of security I needed. I thank this team for coming out and installing my system within one day. Moreover I eliminated 10 other proposals from other air conditioning companies that were a lot less expensive but I know what I am paying for and that's quality quality quality quality. Thank you Goettle team North Las Vegas!
Technician did come on time. I explained to him the problem. And didn't ask my permission or show me the cost to replace it prior to replacing it. On the way out he goes. Oh yeah by the way you owe me this amount of money. OK whatever.
Next visit, an expert comes in to reevaluate my air-conditioning duct work. I am ready to spend over $20,000 with this company and they can't even give me a proper proposal or return any of my calls after the technician visit. I'm a Sadie member which is an absolute waste of money. They didn't even offer me the 10% discount on my last repair. Stay away from this company. I called them for the fourth time this week to ask to speak with a manager. The Phone rep was kind and he said as soon as I hang up the phone I'll get a call and still never did..
Was notified by the water district that I had a leak somewhere. After finding and exposing the leak myself, it turned out that I needed to have the water main line replaced from the meter into my home. GOETTL was the first company to give me an estimate. I got the number from my neighbor who had the same thing done just about a month earlier. This happened on a Friday so I just think they were hoping I was in a panic and was going to agree to anything, but their estimate was $9000. They did my neighbors for $6000. I had 4 other companies come in and range from $4500 to $5500 so they were double the average. Totally trying to take advantage as far as I was concerned.
They were nice and quick to answer calls but that is about it for the good points.
There is a reason you hear so many ads on the radio.
I won't tell you they over charged me but they did not give me all the facts when making my decision.
Let's just say i have a surge protector on an a/c compressor unit that is leaking oil and could go out at any moment.

We called Goettl about 2 weeks ago to fix the blower on our furnace. We were told they had to order the part which would take 5-7 days. About 10 days after that I called to get update because it was freezing in our house and with kids we needed it fixed asap. I called 4 times and were told the manager or our tech were going to get back to us. Not once did we get a call back or get an update from the lady who answered our phone calls. I ended up canceling our repair and went with another repair company who coincidentally gave us an estimate about 900$ cheaper.
GO ELSEWHERE !!!
You can skip their maintenance contract. We've been cancelled twice and put at the end of the list on the 3rd attempt. Plus the girl was rude and unapologetic. They are worse than the proverbial Cable Company at keeping appointments and showing up on time. Skip these sales-motivated fools. Find a real HVAC and plumbing company with polite and on-time service.
Update: (Spoiler - it doesn't get any better) Time frame for maintenance service was 2-6pm. Showed up at 5:50pm. Poked around, took a lot of pictures, paid token attention to fixing a sink plunger (not fixed). After all said and done, we need a new water heater (ours is 5 yo), but they can't guarantee a new water heater unless we have a R/O system installed at $18 to $20 grand. This is not a service company, it is a sales company as in Sell, Sell, and Sell some more.
Oh, and Michael A.? I doubt there is such a person. Just a bot response.
Saved the day for sure! Our air went out in the middle of July, and thank goodness it was in the late evening. We made an appointment through the app that night, and the next day Geottl was there to fix the issue. Our technician was Daniel Stewart, and he was extremely helpful and professional through the whole process of fixing our air conditioner. Had our history pulled up and listened to our complaints, and right way, got to work. I 10/10 recommend using Geottl services to all my friends, for the fastest and most professional service.

Lying ass technicians! Goettl sent Nikki out for a rejuvenation which is suppose to include cleaning the system. After her hour and a half she came and suggested $2300 worth of work I need on my system that is 2.5 years old. Three days later I got a second opinion... clearly you cant tell she didnt even clean the system. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

Not so sure. Went to their online chat system since my phones isn't working, so I can get information from them since it's a 24/7 company. Asked them for an estimate quotation for a clogged toilet, so Heather was very polite & kind, asked me I guess the routine questions --- what's the best contact number to contact me? What's my location if I'm covered in their service area? And if I'm the home owner? I am not the home owner. I live with my best friend who is the home owner. I wanted to do this for him so he wouldn't be bothered and kind of a surprised I got it fixed so you don't have to worry about it kind of home repair. Just for an estimate I can't get a simple price. Throw me a number. It's a number with $ in the front. Now that's just a simple quotation what now for the job it self. So I doubt it I'm going to use their service any time in the future.
After reading these reviews I was honestly terrified about how my experience with Goettl was going to go. Our AC went out last Saturday when temps were tying the highest recorded temp ever seen in Las Vegas at 117. I had called a list of other companies but there was going to be a longer waiting period and at that point my boyfriend and I were living out of a hotel on the other side of town.
My boyfriend called Goettl and they gave us a window on Wednesday (7/14) between 12:30-2:30 they were there by 12:50 we found out our AC unit for our apartment unit was from 1983!!! I couldn't believe it.
They took pictures and my boyfriend went onto the roof to look at it himself, they spoke to our landlord and advised him that even though they could possibly get it working for the amount he authorized they strongly advised he purchase a new unit and was honest that they are not cheapest in town but they could have the unit in by Friday and that the 2 star system would have a 10 year warranty.
Today they said they would be here between 8-10 they were here at 8:45 what was supposed to be between a 4-8 hour install (needed a crane and everything as our unit is on the roof) they had wrapped up by noon. And I officially have a cool habitable home once more.
This company is expensive but they don't pretend not to be. At the end of the day they are reliable and I felt very taken care of. Thank you Ardian and Linda for your hard work today.
We have always used Carls A/C, but they weren't able to help us with a new unit since we moved into a mobile home. I called Moore along with some other companies, and what sold me on this company was the employees. They were really nice and really worked with us. I am completely happy with my new A/C and would use them again. Wonderful employees, polite,honest, caring, a great family business.

What a joke this place is!! Be careful if you call them and always get a second opinion before buying what bull they are trying to SCARE you into buying!
I've only used them once to replace a water heater? Showed up on time, cleaned up and removed the old water heater, will certainly use them again.

I want to thank the wonderful tech's from Moore that came to my home to give me a free second opinion on our unit. I was horrified to find out that A&R Complete who first looked at my unit outright lied to me and claimed that two parts needed replaced that were working fine. I can't stress enough how much integrity and honesty mean when running a business, and Moore has that in spades. They easily could've agreed with my first estimate and quoted me a lower price to make a buck, but instead they told me the truth AND fixed my unit. We have had no issued since the repair and should we have issued in the future, we will surely give them our business again. What a breath of fresh air to have honest people give honest solutions. I'm so thankful I called them!

Title: You can get better service at a reasonable price elsewhere.
Pros: The technician is very courteous to your tenants and over the phone talking to me. Also the salesman is very nice but a bit too pushy when you try to stop them from explaining all 3 tiers of equipment they sell.
Cons: The salesman is a bit pushy and wants you to commit to something within 30 minutes of talking with him. The equipment was very expensive and I believe they not only offer good service, it just comes with a huge price tag attached to it.
My scenario: My A/C unit in my rental condo failed over Easter weekend. The technician arrived on Sunday afternoon and told my renter that the unit is old and needs to be replaced that day. He gets on the phone with me and tells me the unit is in bad shape and there is nothing he can do to get it to limp by for a day or 2. Also, he will have to have a salesman call me since he can not quote me a new unit. The technician also told my tenant that the unit is a fire hazard as he leaves the apartment. . This of course sends her into panic and she gets me on the phone and badgers me to replace the unit right now.
Within 30 minutes the salesman calls and gives me a bid of $15,000.00, $18,000.00 and $21,000.00 for the different levels of units that could replace the current one. I told him I will need to check my bank account and ensure I have the funds to cover the cost. I also told him I was not near my computer and that it would be an hour and a half before I would be home check my bank account from my computer. He tells me about their easy financing and that all their financing must be done on a personal loan and that my rental company could not be the borrower. At this point I get the feeling all he wanted from me was my information and to get on with the deal. This was further confirmed when the salesman sent me a text stating that if I agreed to his price and called him back within 30 minutes, he could replace the unit that day.
Monday morning I decided I needed to call around and get a second opinion. I am sure glad I did. The second technician arrived first thing Monday morning and got the current A/C unit to run for at least for the time being. He also gave me a quote to replace the old unit with a brand new one at almost 1/3 the price of Goettl.
Good family owned company that has apparently been here for 30 years. I had terrible experiences with two other companies and was given the contact to Moore AC to fix the problem. They were at my home in an hour and finally, finally (!!!!) they diagnosed and fixed the problem. Wayne is an experienced tech with many years in this business and many years with this company. That says a lot about the Moore family. They saved me hundreds of dollars too!

I was having a problem with my furnace, called Goettl a tech arrived and recommended that I replace my unit. The estimate I received was over the phone, NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL unlike there ads proclaiming what a professional company they are. However, I did sign up for a service contract 2 visits a year cost $22.95 a month. I canceled after the phone call and estimate I received over the phone. I told them I was going to get a few more estimates. The next estimate was from a professional company, they came to my home inspected the unit and also recommended a replacement, that estimate was about 21% less. They also explained the unit I was receiving and it's efficiency. So I called Goettl and told the tech who came to my home from Goettl to make sure they cancel my service contract which they did, by the way no service was preformed by them. I called Goettl 3 times after they billed me on 3/11/23, which was about 2 or 3 weeks earlier seeking a refund. After calling Goettl 3 times they did not cancel the payment, again no service was ever preformed no return call no nothing from Goettl. I am at a point that I don't care about the refund I would rather review this Company.
They try to upsell you on EVERYTHING. Don't listen to their ads about only paying x amount of dollars for a particular service. They will ALWAYS find a reason why you have to pay more or sign up for one of their membership things. Here's a stuffed 99 cent carnival toy for just $500 per year.

Really disappointing. Air Conditioning went out and did not want to mess with it... So I called Goettl... Because they do things right...
The guy threw an amp meter on the system and said... yep... not working. You need a new system..... $20K...
I had been talked into their Preventive Maint program i paid $200+... I guess they check the water softener... RO... things like that too..
I found a capacitor for less then $30 bucks and had it going in 5 minutes.
I asked the tech if that could be the problem. He did his best to convince me that was not it.
I called to get a refund on the maint contract. If they tried to sell me a new HVAC system that i did not need...was my water softener next? or my RO? Two weeks+ later... no refund...
Called today...They said they were going to charge me $50 for the tech's visit... well. i complained...
Maybe they will refund the $50 too... I don't know.
But for someone that touts doing things the right way I just don't think they did.
Called last week to schedule a snake for my bathtub drain. I was told a technician would be here today between 2-6. I had to call them at 5:45 only to be told I was the next appointment. Waited yet ANOTHER hour before they called and said they wouldn't make it today!!! Completely unprofessional. I drive for a living and missed 5 hours of work waiting for what should have been a 5-10 minute job. My time is just as valuable as theirs is. Will never use them again and certainly won't recommend.
I needed an air conditioning unit installed in my garage.
Goettl subbed the job to an independent contractor .
The installer left holes in the wall and ugly exposed lines on the outside of my house. They promised to return within 5 business days to patch the walls and install a cover on the outside of house to conceal the ugly exposed copper tubing, pvc pipes and electrical lines.
It has been 2 months now and I have not heard back from Goettl after placing several phone calls to them.
I have received warnings from my HOA and about to be fined because the exposed lines are very visible from the street.
Giettl was very communicative when it was time to collect the pre payment for the job but have ignored my calls and voicemails regarding the work they promised would be completed within 5 business days after installation.
At this point I will probably need to hire a handyman to do the work. I will not be using Goettl going forward for my HVAC needs.

They came out and did 2 inspections, fall and spring. both times they recommended several items, such as more attic insullation, which cost several thousand dollars. This year we tried someone else and there was no list of recommendations and the company said everything was fine.

If i could give no stars. They gave and estimate to replace my water heater that I felt was extremely high had it replaced by a different company for 1/5 their cost. I had Signed up for their monthly plan so had the ac inspected under their plan and again was given an extremely high estimate had it repaired by the same company that did the water heater for less than half their estimate. Then to top it off I called to cancel their plan and they said I would have pay over two hundred dollars to cancel their plan. Very shady business practices in my opinion. I should have ran after the water heater but i'm stupid now with new ac and new water heater I still have to pay them the monthly fee till January.
If I can give a negative star for the service that was provided, I would. Was charged $89 for drain diagnostic and got free stuffed toy and flashlight that won't be ever used. Was contacted by a manager that they would refund the $89 because nothing was done and that was back on 3/28/23. I have not received any refund into account as of yet. I see that the advertisement on website states $80. Didn't receive that false advertising.
Goettl Air Conditioning came out to my condo because my air conditioner wasn't cooling. They checked it out & told me it needed 2 connectors & something was wrong with the capacitor. He told me it would cost $683.00 and even showed me photos of the bad parts. I should have been alarmed then because that's a lot of money but I'm no expert on air conditioners so I agreed after he assured me that this would fix it. He also told me that If it didn't fix it I could use that money towards a new unit.
He checked out the unit & said it didn't work. He told me another guy would come to my home within the hour & give me an estimate on a new unit. I was given an estimate for $11,229.00. My home is a 1 bedroom 1 bath 690 sq ft condo. When I told him that was too much he said okay how about $10,000. I told him I wanted an invoice for the work done today & he said they couldn't reimburse me all of my money but most of it. I told him I would pay for the work done today.
He said the boss would call me with the amount they would reimburse me. I never got a call back. After hounding them over the phone for several weeks I sent an email to Channel 13, which I cc'd Goettl on. The next day the office manager came to my house with a check. As he was leaving he turned around & said No more emails to channel 13. I responded No more scamming people. He smirked & left.
I had Kool Mac Air come out. At this point the air conditioner wouldn't turn on at all. Kool Mac checked it out & said there was nothing was wrong with the unit & It only needed Freon. He also said Goettl pulled the plug from the wall outside which they should have replaced, so that's why the unit wouldn't work at all. My air conditioner is now working after a small service call.
I don't want this to happen to anyone else so please help me call out this scam of a company. STAY AWAY FROM GOETTL AT ALL COSTS!!

This whole company is a scam and I'm pretty sure they work on commission and are just trying to sell new AC units instead of making an honest effort to fix the already existing units. I called them in to do their rejuvenation on my AC unit and right away they were already trying to sell me a new unit saying I was wasting money by fixing the one I already have. The unit was going to cost me $12,000 which I don't have. So instead they sold me one getting some very expensive parts replaced and getting some things added which wound up costing around $1000. The icing on the cake they didn't even clean the coils or notice the burnt out transformer. Stay away from this company and do not purchase anything from them.
I received a ridiculous quote from this company. They told me the fins on my AC unit were dirty and needed to be cleaned. When I received the quote, it was for over $800. I asked how long it would take, to which they told me 30 minutes to one hour. I asked if it was all labor I was being charged for. They told me, No, there are cleaning chemicals too. So they basically told me that Labor was at least $750 an hour for cleaning. Stay away from this company unless you like paying 4x the cost of everyone else.
Ford was the plumber that was sent to my home. He fixed the problem with a toilet quickly and efficiently and inspected various plumbing things in my home. After 9 years in my home and 4 different plumbing companies he is the only one to do that.
Our AC was very old and maybe would have not lasted through this summer. Geottl Airconditioning was able to find a finance company immediately and now I have a brand new unit that works great throughout my home. Very friendly and kind staff that explains in details the warranties. Pet friendly staff that gave my 2 dogs stuff animals and flash lights for myself. I wouldn't change to any other company
It is a good service company, but I fear I was overcharged for the new A/C unit I got. I did get the prices up front, and not really knowing that A/C's didn't have to cost so much, took their package, which was the A/C unit, removal of old one, install of new one, plus a twice a year check-up. Just seemed a bit high in retrospect.
All the employees I've encountered were very nice and friendly. My last unit was dated 1994, and got my new unit in 2019, hoping this new unit lasts as long!
Used them because of the non-stop commercials they run on the radio. Apparently, over-advertising works.
Was debating whether to three-star them or four-star them. Think I'll go with three and a half stars, but Yelp doesn't do halfs!
Buyer Beware! These people are the *WORST.* We got two new HVAC units. They positioned one of the HVAC units over a sprinkler head. This meant that when the sprinkler went on, the water sprayed the bottom of the HVAC and the grass in that area went unwatered. We had to pay to have that sprinkler head moved. Goettl said they would pay the cost. They never did.
The topper with these jackasses was their finance company. We financed the HVACs and paid the monthly amount due online and had no late payments for two years. We are responsible people who pay our bills on time. As we paid the debt down, one of the payments didn't go thru on the second of the month. At 19 days past due, they turned us over to a collection agency! The nasty accusatory calls and emails started at 20 days past due. Goettl tried to ruin our high credit rating over a debt that was not even 30 days past due!
The whole company has a scammy feel, as does their collection agency.
Also, compare prices! Goettl is WAY more expensive than other companies. Several neighbors have gotten new HVAC units for MUCH LESS! Live and learn. This business sucks nine ways from Sunday.
Received a call 01/20/2021 for a check up on my air conditioning unit. I expressed my concern that, when they were here replacing my blower motor before, I did not like that the technician was jogging my unit in an attempt to break something. The employee that called to try to set up a free check-up said that she was sorry that I felt that way. I explained that I don't feel that way, it is actually what I observed. She then said that they are professionals and they have been in the industry a long time. So then I told her that it sounds like they are condoning that behavior and she said I'm sorry that you feel that way. I then said that I don't trust doing business with them and she said fine and hung up. If they really cared about their reputation, this would be the time for them to try to fix/remedy the problem. Instead, they just wanted to blame their issues on me. All this on top of charging me $1,200 to replace the blower motor on my AC, and I later find out that other companies charge $800 or less for the same thing. Thanks but no thanks, crossing this company off my list for the future.

So I have goettl guard dog protection . I pay monthly fee and goettl comes out 2 x year to tune up AC and Heat and they also cover plumbing.
Most of the time they are very good - I have AHS warranty coverage also . Goettl is the king of the up sell. They come to tune up and recommend a list of things needed - always stating dooms day of AC going out - it's over 10 years old ... add this... replace that.. on this day last week a young tech comes was told he's on his way at 2:29 and he doesn't show up until 4. Was overly friendly checks out my ac units and the up sell starts ... your units are old .. running high on compressor etc.. ... next asks to see my water heater etc... I have tankless ... wants me to buy water softener ... takes a drink from my tap ... etc .. really starting to get annoying... next he checks my inside units - heat pump and furnace- says wow you have a carbon monoxide leak !!!! Next goes to second unit and after 30 minutes or so says that unit has carbon monoxide leak!!! That's two units two leaks!!
Now I'm really upset ... after having service with goettl for a few years - this tech wants to make a big sale saying his monitor is reading a leak !!!
I've had enough and told him to leave.. he gets his boss on phone over speaker and goes through his findings !
Total bull.... total upswell... fraud...
I called AHW next day and they send out A&R complete service ... Shadd an experienced tech inspects both of my units inside and guess what! Perfect !! No issues !! No leaks!! Nothing !!! Just as I expected !!! AC fine and Heat fine. Yes my units are over 10 years old however units can last up to 20 years even in desert .
It's buyer beware !!! If you use Goettl some of their guys are great and only recommend what's actually needed and they ask up front do you have home warranty! If you do they don't try to up sell!!! This new young guys was out for a unnecessary sale..

Requested a quote for a new AC unit. It came back at $20k for a SEER-16, 5-ton, two-stage unit installed. That's more than twice the cost of other companies in the area. (Got well-rated companies quote at 8k and 15k for the same unit).
The service I received from them in the past was good. But really made me doubt the amount I was being charged.
Everyone we have worked with thus far has been very professional and courteous. The HVAC tech, Billy F., was thorough and helpful in explaining everything in terms that are understandable. We are very satisfied with their services and customer service. I also love how they send the name and photo of the techs in a text prior to them arriving; it's a nice safety reassurance to customers.

Quite a large quote on a water heater which ended up being fixed by another company for a fraction of the quote. Tried to upswell and stated the repair needed a building permit .
I needed a hot water heater and they installed it in a short time. Thwy even lowered the cost. Larry Bracamontes was very professional and knowledgeable. The whole experience was very good.
The air conditioner on my casita recently went down during the middle of a 107 degree day. I called Goettl @ 2pm and they had a service tech (Bronco) on-site by 5pm!! Bronco provided exceptional service and thoroughly showed & explained the reason for the breakdown. The unit was old and beyond its last leg. We ended up replacing the unit and Goettl was able to install the very next!! I've been using Goettl for the past 5 years and have always had great service!!
First dispatcher I spoke he was professional and gave me excuse but respected him because he listened to my issue and provided me with a solution!
First tech that came out very professional, provided service, fixed the issue and gave alternative solutions to maybe prevent it from happening again.. gave us a quote
Few days later.. same issue.. talked with second dispatcher.. (Wendy) very nice and professional and let me know about membership (up sell)
Second tech came out.. to service and he tells me that the service that needs to be done is $3500! So I asked him why did the price go up from $1800 to $3500? I understand on how businesses have to make money but to be dishonest especially when they know that the customer is worried and backed into a wall.. that this tech tried to bull#€$@ his way into trying to rip or take advantage of the situation by trying to up sell when it's not needed. I can understand trying to upsell but to try to take advantage of the situation..is not right!
So I'm asking you this.. why did I get my situation fixed by another company for $75 rather than $3500 the tech quoted me to fix the issue! Especially when your advertising emphasize on HONESTY!
Absolutely great experience working with this company. I contacted the company after 5:00 p.m. when my A/C stopped working and outside temperature was 107*. Very professional, efficient people. Came to my house the same evening exactly at the time they promised, explained the problem clearly, very patiently answered all my questions. Needed parts were ordered and ready for installation early next morning. The repair was completed the same morning and we are happy with the result.
They showed up, looked at the stain on our ceiling said we have to cut a hole and that will be $1k to determine if there is a leak. Collected $89 for the 2 mins of time to tell me this. The guy than proceeded to test my water and spent the next 30 minutes selling me on their $7k - $23k water purification system. What a scam.
The home owners insurance than sent American Leak detection. The guy was incredible. Used a ladder and a water reader to detect water. Tested our bath tub and shower. He was outside and in our bathroom. Even used a listening device. He did not have to cut a hole in our ceiling and figured out what was going on. Saving us thousands of dollars.
Very shady is all I will say. Tried to sell my wife on a $14,000 new unit which was their own brand not even a Trane or any other notable brand. Then when I started questioning it, the guy says that he can do the repair for $1000. After he had my wife do financing paperwork for a new unit and I started questioning it is when he decided to say that he could fix it for $1000. However, he did say that that thousand dollar fix might last six hours, six days, six weeks or six months; he doesn't know. I told him don't worry about it, we're going to see if the home warranty from the builder covers it because my neighbor said it does and all the sudden it turned into I will just do the repairs. Don't worry about paying any money. I'll even takeoff the service fee charge. Just don't leave a bad review. Called in somebody else out $500 later the unit is fixed and running better than when it was first installed. And the other people who came in even said there was no way the unit would ever function because the pets the Goettl guy put in are for a commercial AC unit and NOT a residential unit.
I should've read the reviews before calling them. The customer experience is HORRIBLE! Every single person tries to up sell you on the monthly maintenance place (when you place the call, the person the comes out, then people start calling you randomly trying to sell it to you again!). They don't take no for an answer. Plus they are not cheap, so I expected way better service.
They were quick and punctual. However when here they show me a tube they tested the water and say I have a lot of chlorine. They go on that it'll destroy all the plastic pipes, plastic fittings in my house and they've seen the massive damage it causes.
They advise to have them check it out (another $89) and get a water conditioner (which of course they'll sell me). Fortunately I test the water myself before all this for chlorine and my tests show I've got none/minimal. My neighbors laughed when I asked if they've ever heard of this or needed a conditioner.
I WOULD NOT trust anything they tell you. I will never use them again and already blocked the number since I'm tired of the sales calls.
It's not often that a company believes customer satisfaction is more important than profits. Goettl is one of them!
On Tuesday, our air conditioning went out (it was 99 degrees outside). We called Goettl, as we've done in the past and they sent a technician within 2 hours to access the problem. It turned out to be the compressor. We were told that it would be delivered and installed the next day. The next day, Matt Smith was at the house to do the work. He was courteous, knowledgable and worked hard to get our air conditioning back up and running. It was 95 degrees in our house and we are both seniors so he realized how important the air conditioning was to us. He even changed our air filters before he left! He also made arrangements for a portable cooler to be delivered to us until the house was cooled down.
This morning, another technician, Abel came to the house to make sure everything was working fine. He went out of his way to check the unit and discovered it needed cleaning out (the high winds had blown a lot of dirt into and around the unit) and he proceeded to clean the area.
Also, a big thank you to Curt, the supervisor. He went out of his way to make us customers for life!

Being without AC in the hot Vegas summers is no bueno. After experiencing close to a week in a hotel waiting for our home warrantee repair company (AHS) to find a part for our AC unit we listened to friends and called out Moore Air Conditioning and Heating to take a second look. After confirming that in fact our compressor was shot and needed to be replaced we thought that we were stuck waiting the 4-6 WEEKS that AHS told us they would need to find the part. Kudos to Jason and Wayne at Moore to find what we needed in five minutes! They expedited the part to arrive (expensive but cheaper than a month in a hotel) and had it installed less than 6 hours after the part arrived at the airport. We are grateful to Wayne for his diligence to make the instillation perfect and to Jason for his professionalism in following up with us in a timely manor. If you are looking for great and honest AC repair in Vegas please look no further and call Moore. They get the job done right the first time!

WOW This company is AWESOME....We love them they are COMPLETELY HONEST with what is wrong with any heating or air conditioning problem, there prices are GREAT and as well their customer service is OUTSTANDING.
We've tried MANY other companies out here in Las Vegas and they sadly were RIP OFF'S. Seriously I would NOT LIE when I say that our experience with Moore was the BEST we have found and that is with ALL HONESTY.
In this day and age their are a lot of rip off artists....especially in Las Vegas...(right) lol we learned the hard way. But now we know where to go for heating and air. Only Moore.
Thank you for your outstanding service.....ANY BAD REVIEWS on here I would not understand why? Because these guys are like old school HONEST in estimates and just GREAT.

Used them twice now. I forget why on the first one but decided never again after the home inspection and high cost. They gave me a flashlight to compensate me. I tried to give it back since I didn't need it but they insisted I keep it. I was not planning a second visit again but after calling several plumbers the morning before Christmas they were the only ones to answer the phone. A plumber came out and was a clean with shoe covers etc. I told him I need a shut off valve replaced under the kitchen sink since it was leaking badly. I had the part but he had a better one. It took a torch and skill to do the job. The entire job was less than 15 minutes. Likely because he was skilled. The job cost me $399!! I was given another flashlight and now a stuffed animal. Yes they are competent but you pay a lot. I gave the stuffed animal to the new puppy next door.
They were higher than everyone I got an estimate from . They were almost $9000. More than other. Companies. I am definitely not calling them.
We had no AC and got stood up by another company. Called Goettl they were here within a couple of hours found out it had to be replaced. Two man crew were here the same evening working till midnight. It was during the few days it was up at 115 degrees. We could not be more thankful for them. Awesome customer service and responsiveness
This is a corporate operation so there's always someone to answer your call but be prepared to hound these guys to the ends of the earth to get your job done. Decent work at an extremely high price I will surely look to another company for my next home maintenance job.
UPDATE: I am now sitting here waiting for my third service technician in 3 months to arrive due to air conditioning malfunction. I never had a single issue until I hired this preventative maintenance company.buyer beware these people do not seem to know what they're doing but are always ready to recommend more expensive alternatives.
My air conditioner went out and I called them and they came out within 3-4 hours. My service technician was Kenneth Rymel and he had my unit up and running really quickly!!! I would definitely recommend Goettl for any and all work that you need!! Really professional and friendly. Great job Kenneth!
We signed for a service program. At the last regular service a technician came. He finished and then proceeded to tell me our ductwork had a large hole. He showed me a picture assuming I wouldn't climb into the attic to see it. He then told me We needed new ductwork at a cost of thousands of dollars. That was strange because I had just paid a ductwork company to check, clean, and repair anything needed. I brought in another A/C company and asked them to check. They found some insulation had been torn that matched the picture of the purported hole. There was no hole.
I was aware the technician was trying to sell me on new ductwork that wasn't necessary. I canceled my contract as I lost trust.

My AC units were old and were making noises. One of the units even stopped working. I called Goettl, they send Curtis the same day and explained everything I needed to know. I decided to replace both my units. Goettl's crew arrived at 8:30 am the following day, removed my old units and installed the new ones in less than a day. If you want a job done and done right choose Goettl. You won't regret it.

regarding an issue with our air conditioner not working properly. Before they come out come are they ask you on the phone to sign up for their plan or pay $89 for a service fee. We unfortunately signed up for the plan. The guy that came to diagnose the issue said the thermostat supplied by our alarm company was malfunctioning. We explained to him we already had the alarm company come out and the thermostat was not the problem. We called the alarm company out again anyway. Once again, it was not the thermostat. We called Goettl to come out again, but they never arriveed. They said I canceled, which I did not. Now I want to get out of the plan because they were not able to resolve our issue, we had to call another company. The other company had the problem diagnosed in 20 min. I have called ghetto 3 times, they were supposed to call me back over a week ago regarding the contract. They still have not called me. Before you agree to sign up for their plan, ask what the consequences is if they are not able to fix the issue.

Called them for a leak at my business, I told the receptionist over and over at least 5 times that this was a business, waited a day and a half for them to show up and tell me we don't do commercial properties . Wow! Obviously more training needs to be conducted with the people they have answering the phone. I will never call Goettl again.
Our shower was clogged and The clown you sent said I needed a whole house flush little did he know I had a family plumber come over and fix the issue for 400 Dollard not 3,500 goettl wanted to charge me lol
My Ac had gone out one afternoon and I wasn't sure who to call. I have a small dog and it's the peak of summer. I see Goettl commercials and their vans all the time so I decided to give them a shot.
They sent Rick out to my home. Nice guy, clean cut. He walked around and did an inspection on everything. He kept saying everything didn't look good (over and over). After his inspection he suggested I buy a brand new unit which would cost somewhere between $10k-$20k. I explained that I didn't have that kind of money available and asked him what he could do to at least get the air cool for my dog. He told me that I needed to replace what he called a 'capacitor' and that would give me cold air. He replaced the capacitor, turned it on and the unit shut off almost immediately while he was standing there. He said my compressor was overheating and asked me for my water hose. He told me I needed to hose down the compressor for 10-15 minutes to cool it down and then turn the system back on. He charged me $320 for that capacitor. 5 minutes after he left, the unit shut off again. It never produced cold air after he switched the parts like he said it would. The house was a miserable 97 degrees the entire night.
I called a different company (On The Spot Air) out the following day. That technician told me that I didn't need a capacitor, that my problem was being completely out of what he called 'Freon'. Rick never mentioned a thing about needing Freon because he was like a used car salesman trying to push a new unit on me. The other company charged my compressor and my ac unit started producing cold air and has been ever since he left.
Goettl is a company built by thieves and liars. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. All they'll do is scam you for things you may not need. Honestly, I wish I could get my money back.
We signed up for the Sadie plan last year and used all the services and found them to be good....a bit of an up sale is always in the works though. Stopped the monthly plan last May and just restarted just this past week we needed a reverse Osmosis faucet installed. Two guys came out and finally the 3rd guy was able to install it. BUT, our garbage disposal took on a leak the night before he came out. SO, we were in need of a garbage disposal too. NOW, with that being said, we thought it was going to be a quick osmosis faucet install for what one of the 3 said would be $50.00 to install one we buy....but he wasn't the one who came out. The guy who came out figured out a price to install the faucet we bought and seeing that the garbage disposal was a surprised leak to us, he said the cost would be $615.00 total to do both. YIKES!!!!! So, we already waited a week and 3 guys later to get the faucet installed , we were like, what are we to do. So we had him install the reverse osmosis faucet and buy his garbage disposal and install that too. Holy crap on a stick. Make sure you know your quote before they come out for a install or fix. This was the fist time we used them to actually fix something and not just a clean or dust of a/c or furnace. Three stars given because we didn't request the BEST plumber, but words were said that we were paying for his experience. $ 477.00 for a garbage disposal (purchased and intstalled) and install of a reverse osmosis faucet (we provided the faucet) he installed it = total $615.00
Had a great experience with Milton Weathers from Goettl. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the plumbing issues within our home. He further went above and beyond to negotiate down the plumbing services for our home.

My hot water heater went out and I needed one kind of quick. This company came out and gave me a estimate of $5500. This company is way way out of line with their prices. A plumber friend of mine came over we purchased a hot water heater for $700 and he installed it for a couple of $100. So the total let's say is 11 $1200, and this company was going to charge me 5500? Do your search before you hire these companies. I do not recommend this company at all , also I had to pay them $189 for the service call and never use them BAD COMPANY
Thank goodness for honest people! I had problems with my AC and I was tossed around by my Home Owner Warranty and dishonest AC Company, so I decided to call Goetll, and let me tell you... I'm so glad I did. They were here in less then 40 minutes, Adrian the HAVC Technician was very knowledgeable and went through everything with me.

Home Owners Warranty is a joke, they are quick to take your money but when it comes to take care the customers they will do everything possible to make you mad, ruined your day and do nothing! Yes it will cost more to pay out your pocket but if you go with a honest company there is no worries.

Called Goettl for estimate on water softener. They told me there would be a $89 charge just for them to come out to my house. Ok, so I scheduled an appointment for the estimate. They arrive two hours late! My scheduled time was between 1pm and 4pm. They arrived just after 6pm. I guess my time is not valuable. So, okay.. on with the estimate. Water softener way too expensive!!! Anyway, I was expecting some kind of break for the $89 service charge for them being two hours late. NOT! They charged me $89. No surprise I went with another plumbing company that did not charge for them to come to my home to provide me with an estimate.

USE ANYONE ELSE!!! I do not recommend Goettl for your AC needs!!! The salesman did a great job of convincing my husband that they were better at service and a more reliable company than our old AC company. Based on that meeting, we spent $13k on a brand new unit. We've had issues with the filter and now the actual cooling. We keep our AC set on 77 during the summer days. I came home today and it was 83 degrees in my house (and quickly went to 85). Pardon me, but I expect a BRAND NEW AC to keep the temperature I set. Their service is so great that I have to wait 24 hours before I can get a technician?!?!?PLEASE GET LOTS OF QUOTES AND CHECK REVIEWS BEFORE YOU COMMIT!!

We had our hvac unit replaced since the one we had seemed to need small repairs on an ongoing basis. The salesperson & technicians were great. The unit was replaced a couple of days after we requested it. The only reason I didn't give them five stars was some scheduling/communication problems with sealing our ducts. We had a couple of minor issues with our new units but after calling in about them, techs were out within a couple of hours. Goettl is easy to work with & very professional

We purchased a water treatment system from Goettl in December 2019 for over $12,000 and recently the pump started leaking. They told us it is going to cost $3000 to replace the pump while they haven't even tried to fix it. It's only been 3 years since we have bought this system and we find out that the pump isn't included in the life time guarantee and when we talked to the person on rhe phone he told us that we have the Rolls- Royce of water purifying systems and that now that system would cost 17,000 so we are lucky. Do they tell everyone that they sell these systems to that in less than 3 years they will have to spend another $3,000 on a new pump? When that same pump can be purchased from the manufacturer for $600? This place is a joke and theirs a reason they only have 3 stars and I would give them zero if possible. Don't waist your money. Definitely do not purchase a RODI system from these crooks.
I called to cancel my Sadie's membership today and the agent decides to tell me that because I sign up for the membership it's best for me to keep it for the rest of the year. I let him know that I will no longer need their service because I am moving into an apartment and won't need them anymore. He basically tells me that I would have to pay for all the rejuvenating and free inspections that came with the membership because now that I want to cancel it they're making me pay for it after they've already done the work. They say it's free with membership and now because I'm canceling they are making me pay for it or make me keep paying for a membership that I don't need (14.95 monthly). Their quotes are ridiculously high and have compared prices throughout the city. Are you going to charge me for the FREE flashlight and stuff animal dog you guys give your customers?! Never again!
Will not give out pricing unless you call and give them all your information. A business that does not have transparent pricing, that they refuse to give to their customers unless you give them to your private information, is not one I would trust to do business with. If They're hiding their pricing what else are they hiding?
Goettl installed 2 HVAC units I'm my home yesterday. One had an issue but Jorge and Cedric stuck around late to ensure the system was operating properly before they left. On top of that, they found the reason of poor air flow into one of the rooms in the house and repaired that as well. These two guys are true professionals and it was refreshing to have people like this come and work on this installation.
Recently, our shower handle broke and we couldn't turn off the water, had to shut off the main. David W. (fantastic) was dispatched and not only did a stellar job, but kept me informed on every step that he was taking. When he was done, it felt like the bathroom had a brand new shower. We talked for a bit afterward and he explained Goettl's commitment to their customers and that sold me even more. I've lived in Las Vegas for more than 30 years and over that time, the one common thread is that it's hard to trust people/companies coming to work in or around your home. I've had the hardest time finding ones can trust. Goettl is different. I trust these people and will continue to use them.
Docked one star for the overnight emergency call operator being located in Phoenix. While polite, she wasn't even sure what time the Vegas offices opened (it was a 4am phone call on a weekday) and couldn't tell me when they would get back to me. I think Las Vegas is a big enough market where a call made in the overnight hours can be answered locally.
So sorry to say this, but Goettel is NOT A GOOD BUSINESS if you need honesty and ethical work done. Had my A/C rejuvenated and they told me I should replace two caps and an electrical contactor. Parts total $75. $1600 for replacing these three parts. About two hours work. If this is not price gouging then the dictionary needs to be rewritten. VERY DISSATISFIED, your adds are very misleading as far as community service goes, your dad would be ashamed.

If I could give zero stars I would. Bought a new A/C unit on July 12, the following Saturday broke down twice.. I have gotten the run around since then. I want the new unit to be replaced but this company can't even be bothered with returning a phone call.. Their marketing campaign is just that marketing. As of yet they certainly don't stand behind what they say.. #geottlstinks
WORST COMPANY EVER!!! Do not do business with this company.. !!!!

I used Goettl for the first time today and all I can say is WOW! I heard their ad on the radio and I said to myself .... this is the kind of professionalism that I need. From the minute that Luis A. arrived at my house his attention to detail was flawless. I mentioned some of the issues and he immediately put my mind at ease and made sure that I knew he was there to take care of everything. He was so professional. He spent the time to explain what he was doing and made sure I was comfortable with all of my issues explained and taken care of to my satisfaction. I am a Real Estate Broker and I talk to people constantly. I will make sure that they know that I use Goettl. If I have a problem in the future ... I will ask for Luis A. Great job Goettl!
They wanted 5800 dollars to replace a power vent water heater. Their competitor charged 2200. Clearly their business is based on exploiting the ignorance and trust of families in an emergency.
I thought they were sending me a plumber, so I agreed to pay $50. They sent a plumbing technician, a salesman for their rip-off prices, who couldn't fix a valve and get cold water flowing in the house. Companies like this should not exist.
If you work there, shame on you. Find an honest job.
March 30, 2021 - Had our 1 year maintenance for our two Air Conditioners. Paul Guthrie was awesome. The maintenance was needed before the Las Vega heat sets in. The Smart AC's had a little glitch with the capacitor and it stopped itself from burning up the compressor. Paul did a great job of fixing that and cleaning the units. Appreciate the trained professional that he was. I have attached a photo of Paul Guthrie hard at work on one of our Units! Thanks Paul! So glad we bought these from Goettl Air Conditioning and Plumbing.

People were nice and friendly but the amount of money we paid for the new ac unit, insulation, and the service to seal our ducts got me out here looking like a damn fool.. on top of that the company they were supposed to get to come out to seal the ducts, never showed up twice so I asked to cancel that portion and take that cost off of the financing.. you'll bet that never happened.. No one followed up until I canceled my annual membership.. Like I said the people were nice but clearly the bottom line was more important.. $28K later and I'm the idiot who didn't do her homework..
Our water pipe to the hose outside broke and the pvc pipe had to be cut and capped off. Called geottle at 7.30pm and they came at 6.30pm the next day
Said it would be $600.00 to fix
We Said no...our son fixed it for $20.00 the next morning ....

Goer to is way overpriced, $3k for a water heater when the other company quoted half.
I know there's good reviews and bad reviews. I haven't had a bad experience with them. My water heater went out on Tuesday night. I set up a service request for the next and they were out on site at the time they said. David from Goettl came out and serviced the water. David recommend I should get a new water heater since the one that went out was over 15 years old. David was able to set me up with a new water heater and made a commitment. He said will not go another day without hot water no matter how long it took to complete the job. He made a few calls and was able to a get new water heater delivered. David work well into the night and made sure we had hot water. Like I said, I haven't had a bad experience and would recommend David from Goettl for your plumbing needs.

Left home dirty,
project ram over the estimate of 3 days. Went 9 days.
Project manager wouldn't return calls.
Different assistant showed up each day with tech in charge of job
Did not repair all damage done even when pointed out to them.
Drywall repair team poured dirty water in my landscape rock leaving white area.
Dry wall drops all over home and garage
Found empty drink bottles in garage days later when I was cleaning all the drywall dust from the holes that were cut.
Project manager wouldn't return calls after job was done.
I used them for other jobs due to my senior mom feeling comfortable with them. Only reason.
Basically bad service for all calls with no return calls from management.
Today's visit tech would only speak to mom not my wife. Rude. Told here rooms are warm due to other rooms in house.
Will not be calling again regardless on mom's request.
Will also be canceling service contract. Want nothing more to dye with this company. I gave them several chances both HVAC and plumbing divisions. Both were poor quality for the large price tags.

Our air conditioning went out so we called goettl after hearing good comments from a family member. They came within an hour not only did we purchase an air conditioner from them which was installed the very next morning at an outstanding price but they offered to put us up in a hotel over night. We declined so they set us up with portable air units to cool us down for the night...!!! Hats off to the outstanding customer service provided by Jeremy and Nelson and the owner Wacky Zach...!!! The best service we have ever had.... Great price as well.... And born and raised in Vegas I'm so grateful for this awesome air conditioner....!!! Would recommend these guys to anyone who is in need of air conditioning....!!!!

Goettl is all about upsale. I had somebody from goettl flush my water heater. They told me that the entire house was full of sand all the pipes the toilets I needed to get the entire house flushed for a mere $5000. Of course I had a real plumber come out with a second opinion there was nothing wrong with my plumbing there was no sand anywhere it cost me nothing Goettl is useless. They just want to lie and upscale you. I don't know if it is because I was female and they wanted to take advantage of a female that had no knowledge of plumbing. But I would not recommend them to anybody
These SCAM artists shouldn't have a business license! I don't know how they haven't been investigated by the better business bureau yet! We will NEVER use Goettl again and will tell everyone we know about their work ethics (or lack thereof).
We used Goettl 4 years ago to replace a water heater, and a few other things in between- so when our water heater burst a few days ago- of course we called them back assuming it would still be under warranty. Well, they send a technician by the name of Ford Bhirdo out who tells my husband that it's not under warranty anymore and gave us a single quote for $4 THOUSAND dollars to replace the water heater.
Now this isn't our first home, and certainly isn't our first water heater needing replacement, so my husband pointed out that we could go to Lowe's and get a water heater for less than 1k, to which the technician Ford Bhirdo responded ya well good luck getting that installed and he promptly left.
Come to find out, I called up Van Marcke after the technician left and they informed me that our water heater was STILL UNDER WARRANTY FOR 2 MORE YEARS! Goettl straight up LIED to our faces and said it wasn't under warranty and the best quote they could give was 4 THOUSAND DOLLARS to replace a water heater that was STILL UNDER WARRANTY! THIEVES!
I went to Van Marcke, paid $108 to swap out the water heater under warranty and paid LESS THAN $500 to have a licensed plumber come out and swap out the water heater the next day!
GOETTL should be ASHAMED of themselves.... How many older people are they scamming out of THOUSANDS of dollars and how many people are they LYING TO about their warranties?!!?! Attempting to overcharge soo egregiously is not only dishonest, but it's unethical! This company needs to be shut down!
We called Goettl and told them to cancel the previous $200/year protection plan we had signed up for with them and told them to LOSE our contact information! I'd recommend anyone else, do the same. Or just flush the $100's down the toilet- as that would make more sense than paying these SCAM ARTISTS! These people will take your money, LIE TO YOUR FACE, and attempt to overcharge you THOUSANDS of dollars for a few hundred dollar job!
They don't deserve even 1 star....
Our heater went out last night called Goettl at 7pm and they had somebody come out first thing in the morning and take care of the problem

NO HEAT?! I woke up this morning in a blizzard it seemed like !...
I called Goettle had them look at the old unit and we got it replaced the SAME DAY . They sent a awesome Tech named Branislav Konear out he was able to explain to my older landlord what the issues as to why I had no heat . And they even matched a previous company's price! The crew was awesome and got everything done with a smile and were very friendly. I'm glad my family was kept warm this year because of this company Goettl Air good job guys .
So, we had been paying for their guard dog protection for quite a while. It felt like every time they came out, there was some kind of money suck repair or something they found even when the house was fairly new. Now I wonder about that. Anyhow, they installed an RO system which was glitchy at first but they did make that right. So this is why they don't go all the way down to 1 star. BUT, since then, they have gone downhill. They are either late or don't show up and need to reschedule. Granted, they apologize and I get that plumbers may go to an appointment and find a problem that takes them longer than they thought to fix. Still, any good business factors that into consideration.
So, we are moving and have a sink that drips. We told the dispatcher that the fixture will need to be replaced. The plumber comes out, looks at it, and asks me if I have a fixture. Um, NO. I TOLD YOUR DISPATCH THAT INFORMATION. He checks and WTF...$750 for them to provide the fixture and install it OR $450 if I buy the fixture? Can I say DOUBLE NO. So, $45 dollars later, he leaves after only looking at my sink dripping.
What happened to the stinking guard dog protection. I thought service calls were covered, especially when the plumber did NOTHING. Oh, I am so done with this company. SO DONE. I am glad that they aren't where we are moving. Stay away from them. Don't buy the hype of their commercials. I am throwing away their stinking flashlight and stinking stuffed dog.

Had Goettl come out to look at my A/C. The technician told me that my fan motor went out causing my compressor to overheat. Said they can replace it for $7500 but that I'm better off getting a new unit for $16,000. He got real pushy trying to get me to buy a new unit and after I said no he wanted to charge me $89 for the visit after I was told on the phone it would be a free visit. Luckily he was nice about that and I didn't have to pay that. I called another company to look at it and was told it was just a new fan motor I needed and that only cost $450. I didn't like Goettl trying to get me to spend thousands of dollars on something when I didn't have to. It's not an honest way to do business. I will never call them again for anything.

Jesus was at our home to do Drywall repair after our new AC system was installed. The trim for the attic access was removed to allow for the new AC system to be installed. Jesus was on-time, professional and an excellent craftsman. It looks better now than before the new AC was installed. Thank you Jesus for an excellent job!!!

A year later and the same problems. Brand new system last year and it's 86 in the house. 3 rd time in a year. Tells me, I never needed a new system at all. They just wanted the $15,000!!!!
Liars, cheaters and bad business.
Asked them to fix a toilet. Wouldn't do it that day. They scheduled the toilet fix for 5 days later then no-showed. $13 part from amazon fixed the toilet. Sales people in vans.
Very happy with the service we received from Jeff today. Did not try to rip us off. Easy fix, fair price, on time, gave us lots of information .
Will call them for all our needs from now on. Thank you.

Greg came out yesterday to look at our faltering air conditioning system and give us an estimate of the problem and cost of repair. He is 100% straight and did not attempt to upsell us. I completely trust him; something that is vital in a repair person. Goettl will get the job from us.
Goettl is not hard to spell. They lie in their commercials and they lie to your face. The guard dog program is a scam. You have to be a member for an entire year or else you'll get charged for the entire complementary rejuvenation service that they harass you to schedule. The tech sold us on the guard dog program to save us money. He said that we could cancel anytime without penalty. Well come to find out if you cancel the program before 12 months you'll get charged for those services. Very unhappy with the lies. They are by far the most expensive company I've ever received quotes from for plumbing and HVAC work!!
If ain't broke don't fix it. I ask for rejuvenation service. He went on top of the roof later came down and told me your AC will fail anytime so I was quoted $12k for replacement. Beware!
Let me start by saying I used to love Goettle, they did an amazing job I stalling my 2 3 ton a/c units, smart thermostat, insolation, tankless water heater, new toilets and fixtures, and all the upgrades to the plumbing under all the sinks. Overall I have easily spent six figures with multiple projects to know the crews and customer service in and out over the past 4 years. They used to be phenomenal, would take care of all the issues, talk me through how everything works, what was done, what to look out for etc.
Now it's different, all new people (not necessarily a bad thing) but when I'm having the same issues with my water heater EVERY YEAR, I want the gentleman who installed it to come take a look. Instead I get a 'we'll do what we can'. I said absolutely not, this is a massive reoccurring issue and I want someone who did the install and I trust to fix it. I've also had to wait for appts in my block because iPhone silence 'scam' calls (my fault, should of know to turn it off) but the call back number to verbally confirm the appt is the main line. I was on hold for more than 20 min and it was MY fault I got put back in the que because I wasn't able to verbally confirm quick enough. I have been a loyal goettl customer for years and my house even has 'the sunny plumber' (goettls previous name) equipment installed so it speaks volumes to their quality and character, however that is not the service I get anymore. The more I have technicians out to look at my equipment, the more it keeps breaking down. They are no longer the same quality of people, which is suchhhh a shame
