Rocket Plumbing

I've gone to Chris at Rocket Plumbing for plumbing issues for a number of years, and we called them again this week when our dishwasher drain was backing up. Chris replaced our kinked drain hose and got us back up and running in no time.

Rocket Plumbing is fairly priced, but more importantly they are knowledgeable, trustworthy, respectful of your time, efficient, and hard-working. Not sure what more you could want when the plumbing breaks or you need some fixtures installed. Highly recommended without any hesitation!

I own a six unit older 50-year-old building.. been having a lot of trouble lately with backups.. I usually do it myself but it just got to the point where I knew I needed to bring somebody in.. I had met Chris down the street one day got his card had him come over he did what I would have done but the difference is I would have thought it was fixed.. well yeah it was definitely draining well because the pipes are broken they were so old.. thank God he was there because could you imagine how long feces and all that good stuff would have been going underneath my building before we realized it.. oh my God he saved me! Very knowledgeable /lifetime of experience!  Actually I did some scouting and there's a lot of stuff that I need to do so I'm definitely going to be calling them into give me a bid because I am 100% satisfied and happy! Not only that it's Labor Day weekend and not that should matter but I'm a union worker and I just appreciate it!  Chris thank you so much I look forward to working with you in the future. I'll post some before and after pictures.

We just bought a condo that was move-in ready, but naturally, we had it inspected and found a few minor plumbing issues we decided to fix before we moved in. Make that a lengthy punch list of minor, fiddly things...
Even though he was in high demand, Chris worked with us, got everything on our list fixed, and in several cases, made excellent suggestions for ways to improve the plumbing to make it better than new! He gave us accurate estimates and came up with a reasonable schedule we were both happy with and finished on time! Very, very pleased!

True to their name, super fast service.  Also, honest, thorough, and reasonably priced.

Chris was the first to call back on my requests for quotes.  He showed up the same day to inspect a non-operational sump pump in my backyard.  It was six years old, so I figured it needed replacing and told him so, but he did his due diligence, sucked out all of the murky water from the well, checked valves and floats, found the wiring and inspected the power source, etc., to make sure he couldn't salvage the pump.  In the end, the pump did need to be replaced, but he had a new one in his van and was able to remove the old pump, fish the wiring through the well and solvent weld the new pump, and have everything ready to go all in the same day.  All for a price that was on par with the national average for a job like this.

I also bugged him with random unrelated questions on other plumbing jobs around the house, and he gamely gave me very well-informed answers and practical solutions without trying to sell me anything else.

Chris was very responsive in terms of helping us fix our shower drain. He went above and beyond and helped find us a new drain catch to prevent future clogging. He also installed it seamlessly. We've used him twice in the last year and would highly recommend

I had a shower faucet that had been leaking for several days. After an unsuccessful attempt to schedule a handyman, I called Rocket Plumbing.
They were prompt, flexible, and scheduled me within a day.
Matt fixed my shower faucet and stopped the leak. He explained what was wrong with the faucet and how it needed to be fixed. He even went the extra mile by tightening my kitchen sink faucet and toilet handle.

Matt provided excellent service! We had a leaky toilet tank (bolts had begun to rust through) and he was able to solve the problem very quickly!

This review is for a service call on 5/28. I had a pretty severe leak in my kitchen sink due to complete corrosion of the pipes. Rocket plumbing was able to come the very next morning. I spoke to Chris on the phone who was very professional and courteous. The plumber who came was Thomas, who was very friendly and professional as well. He took a look, explained the price before starting, and showed me what he planned to do. Fortunately he had the necessary parts on hand so he was able to get straight to work. When he finished he went over the fixes he had made, gave me good advice for maintaining the sink better, gave a detailed receipt, and took photos of the work.

My sink works great now and I'm very satisfied with the work that was done, and the professionalism from both Thomas and Chris. As someone pretty inexperienced with home repairs and such, I really appreciated how thorough they were in explaining the process and the pricing. I searched price estimates for sink repair online and on home advisor and am confident that they gave me a fair price. I will definitely use them next time I have a plumbing emergency and will recommend them to friends.

Matthew came by to fix a drainage problem I've had for a year. Other guys have quoted us at over $1000 for this, but Matthew was extremely transparent and helpful in diagnosing and addressing the issue. Within an hour, he managed to fix the problem completely and at a fraction of what the other guys quoted me for. Very honest, high integrity work. Highly recommend.

Rocket was very prompt to send someone over and they were really easy to work with and communicated each step of the way what they would do. They sent Matthew over and he was very courteous and helpful. I appreciate how swiftly they helped me get my leak fixed, and their service. I'd certainly recommend them.

I used them twice. Once for my personal bathroom. He came fixed it and charged me $190. Two weeks later had the same problem. Two weeks ago my daughters toilet wasn't working so my husband looked on yelp for a plumber and because this company has the highest yelp reviews and prob pays yelp come up first. He called and the same guy Mathew C came and charged me $190. Now two weeks later we have the same exact problem. I paid him via Venmo Bc I wasn't home.  He was very unprofessional on the phone when I called him. I texted his supervisor (Chris) who ignored me. If you have extra money you'd like to flush down the toilet call these guys! I don't believe any of their yelp reviews Bc two of my own experiences have been bad..... they charged $190 for plugged toilets twice

We've had Sam service us every time we've had a plumbing issue in our apartment and he is simply the best. He's very polite and courteous and knows exactly what he's doing. He answers all my questions every step of the way and can explain things very clearly so I don't have to ask many follow up questions if any at all. I highly recommend calling and asking for Sam if you ever need a plumber!

Brian, the owner, was very nice, kind and supportive of our situation.  They came in, did the job in a timely manner - great job and service.

I am very please with them.  They are not cheap, but then again, plumbing isn't cheap.  It's lots of work and can be very complicated.  They made everything simple to understand and, I believe, a little high in price, but not a deal breaker.

Rocket Plumbing (Sam - the technician) is a terrific plumbing service. Got back to me after my initial call; talked with Sam - set the appt and discussed an estimated price.

Sam showed up on time, was professional and knowledgeable. We talked as he was doing the work, and let me know exactly needed to be done and took care of the work.  Price was right on target.

I'm very happy with his work and how he handled himself. Rocket Plumbing is now our go to plumbing company.

Matt came by very quickly once we called. Our main line had clogged due to tree roots causing our toilet and bath to flood. He cleared everything within the hour. Awesome customer service.

Excellent company! Very fast and responsive. I had tried snakeing my main line several times but still kept having issues. I decided to try hydro jetting-  which has resolved my issue! Great company with friendly people who show up when they say they will! Will definitely use again

My tankless water heater was having issues igniting (pilot problem, gas flow). I called, got a call back from Chris, who tried to identify the problem over the phone. After I provided some pictures, he called me back promptly to troubleshoot the issue and my hot water was back on in no time. I easily saved a couple hundred bucks so this is the least I could do! If the problem arises again, I'll be sure to call Rocket again.

We had a clogged kitchen drain and were heading on vacation.  I called Rocket and they were able to send Jose right away.  Jose was so fast and considerate.  I'm really happy with the work and how fast my issue was addressed.

Great work but not cheap. Communication could also have been better.

But when Sam did show up-- evidently he'd been pulled to do an emergency job-- his work was quick and efficient, and top-notch.

When a company steps up to the plate, I believe it's only fair to recognize them.  That's what Rocket Plumbing did.  On 2/19, I wrote an unfavorable review after having issues with their responses.  To their credit, Brian, the owner, contacted me directly to find out what went south this time. He then apologized and asked if they could have a chance to rectify the situation.  I appreciate that kind of company, who cares about their clients and their reputation.  Long story short, they came back, replaced all three faucets and the needed angle-stops, and were willing to negotiate the cost.  We are well satisfied.  Thank you, Brian, Chris and Jose, for stepping up to the plate.

Guys are good. Called on Friday...came out Saturday morning and unclogged the sink.
Gave me a discount because he was 30 mins late which I totally did not expect them to do. Accepts credit cards as well which is nice..who carries cash these days anyway

Rocket Plumbing plumbers are Super Professional. Chris and Matthew arrived on time as scheduled, listened to my concerns and issues I WAS having with plumbing, explained clearly my choices answering all questions. I opted for the HydroJet to clear main root filled main line. With that done they went to work and worked quickly and efficiently to clear main line. I am pleased with their work and have had other plumbing issues resolved using their company. Their prices are reasonable and they certainly do good work. I will use them whenever I need a plumber. Did I  mention they are polite as well! The call back/turn around time was rapid.  Rocket Plumbing is on it!!!

Rocket Plumbing is simply the best! I called them in the middle of week for a Saturday appointment and they were able to accommodate our schedule. Sam came out to take a look at my tenant's kitchen sink and took care of the problem quickly. What more can I say? He was courteous and was very professional. Will definitely use these guys again! UPDATE: Had another issue earlier today. I called Rocket back and they penciled me in on a Friday afternoon with no problem. Chris kept in touch with me through the whole process, was professional, courteous and took care of the bathroom sink without any issues. Thanks Chris, and thanks again Rocket Plumbing.

Everyone makes mistakes. But it takes a special person to own it and go out of his way to make things better.

I pray that we never have another plumbing problem, but if we do, I'm calling Rocket Plumbing. Chris came out quickly on an emergency sewage backup in the guest bathroom in April. He did a thorough and efficient job, explained what the issues were, and advised that our landlords should get the carpet steam cleaned.

7 months later, we had another backup from the washing machine drain. The landlord called, and Brian must have been concerned given how upset the landlord was, and pulled Chris off another job to come out and fix the situation immediately.

Chris cleared the blockage, used booties to avoid getting the carpet dirty, and was sympathetic to the fact that our landlord first tries to blame us (the tenants) for when stuff breaks at their unit, even though the place is over 12 years old and hasn't had plumbing maintenance done once. (We have the place cleaned weekly and also are careful to collect hair, Kleenex and compost material to throw out in the garbage instead of down sinks or toilets... I mean, we've lived in houses built in the 1920s in the Northeast, where pipes are riddled with tree roots, so we KNOW not to throw things down drains/toilets!)

I give Chris a ton of credit because I think he may have an injury or physical handicap, but he was easily able to maneuver the washer/dryer units and get his heavy snake equipment up and down the stairs. (I have very little upper body strength, so am pretty much worthless when it comes to lifting heavy equipment.)

This is a 5-star operation.

I will be recommending them to anyone who has a plumbing problem. As a former homeowner, I've worked with plenty of contractors before, but these guys tell it like it is, give you a fair quote, show up on time, and get the work done. And they didn't even ask for a positive review, which I thought was classy as well. Thank you, Chris and Brian!!

Honestly Matthew came quickly his services were tremendous! Very knowledgeable in what he was talking about gave me a good price! All in all I would definitely recommend them! Very honest! Very hard working young man!

I've had a few appointments with Chris from Rocket Plumbing and have been very satisfied with both the quality of work and the friendliness/helpfulness of the team.

First issue we had was a busted and leaking garbage disposal, Chris installed a nice new one in about an hour and replaced the old pipe. He came back again to address a leaking bathroom sink.

I'd highly recommend. When you need a plumber you want knowledge, promptness, and someone that you don't mind in your home for a while. Great company!

Very happy with Rocket Plumbing!!! I called last week to get a quote for a few odd ball jobs I needed done and received a call back after a few hours. Sam came out the following day and gave me an estimate. We scheduled the install and repair jobs that Saturday and he showed up on time and did an amazing job.

Brian and Rocket plumbing have been extremely helpful and knowledgable. My wife and I had no idea that we were supposed to drain and flush your water heater once a year. We have always heard a knocking sound from our old water heater and now we know that it is sediment that can build up a knock around.

He told us not to throw things down our drains that were causing us problems like egg shells and coffee grounds.

It is one thing to just come to someone's home and provide a service, but to give a homeowner the knowledge that will help prevent future problems really set Rocket Plumbing apart from all the other plumbing companies I have dealt with.

Jose from Rocket Plumbing is amazing! After discovering a leak under our new house late in the afternoon before moving day, we needed help ASAP.  Rocket Plumbing was able to fit us in first thing the following morning.  Jose showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the issue, worked on a repair and got us back up and running.  We will always use Rocket Plumbing in the future.

Their website is plastered with the assurance that it costs $35 for them to come out to the house.  The plumber who arrived said it was $140.  When I referred him to the website, he said
Oh, that must be our Chicago site.
Really. The one that says you're at Westwood and Olympic.
He had no answer.
In fact, he had no answer for a lot of things. Every time I asked him a question - especially one that showed I had a clue about plumbing - he simply ignored me.

As for my leak, he said my fixture was old and it would be nigh impossible to find a replacement stem to fix the leak. And then, even if he were to find one, it would cost another $140 for him just to show up again, plus parts and labor.

As soon as he was gone, I went down the street to the nearest hardware store, and replaced the stem myself.  No more leak.

EDIT: The owner, Brian, gave me a call in response to my review. He seemed genuinely distressed (as he should be) and told me his man plain and simply got it wrong about the travel fee.

An aging sink faucet and multiple leaks under the kitchen counter...I was sure this was going to be a nightmare.  Wrong!  I picked Rocket Plumbing because of the high Yelp ratings and JOSE exceeded every expectation.

Go Rocket Plumbing!  I had been hoping to find a reliable, conscientious plumber.  Done!

Its easy to give a 5-star review right after an appointment, but the real test is if the work lasts. In  my case it didnt last, and within a couple weeks my drains were clogged again. I can't know for sure if the work they did could have prevented the 2nd clog, all I know is 1) I paid them to do a job that lasted only a couple weeks before having to pay someone again, and 2) when I told them about it they didn't make any effort to rectify it (I would have expected, for example, at least an offer of a dicsount for them to come back out and fix it again).

I will not be using Rocket plumbing again and I caution other people to just dive in with them before getting everything straight.

2 stars for being able to diagnose a problem and quick response.  I worked with a plumber named Chris.  He was courteous but I was not very appreciative of the he handled business.  Pricing changed at least 4 times in the process because he just had to keep adding things on and at the very end, he stripped the shower handle. He then mentioned that it's old and that he could go buy one and install it and charge me for it.  What about the handle he removed 2 times and it was still fine until the very last isntall?  What about how he got sick of trying to fix it and just told me it is done so he could collect a check?  Good thing I checked his work before he left. The handle was not even secured and with 1 touch it would fall off. He then looked irritated when I called him out on his mistake and fiddled a bit and said sorry he couldn't do anything.  Oh at the cartidge costs another $25....so that $25 coupon on our website? yeah it basically is false because we can arbitrarily raise the price on actual hardware after you already signed a contract with us.  Perhaps it was a coincidence, but between trying to slither away after ruining the shower handle without telling me, and then cancelling out the coupon by showing up telling me that the price changed after i spoke with you 3 times that day on the phone made me feel like I should warn people.

Again, constant price changes, fix one problem while creating another, and lying about what occurred.  And lastly, when I complained, he had the gall to say I should have quoted you $20-40 more for a cartridge replacement to begin with.

Jose came out in time as scheduled. Did a thorough evaluation and helped me find the right solution. He then fixed two toilets quickly and efficiently.

Matthew came by, snaked my drains, and was great! Took care of the problem.  He was here within 30 mins of my call!

This wasn't my choice of plumber. My tenants unfortunately called these plumbers to relight a water heater. The tenants were forced to pay CASH on the spot. What kind of reputable business demands cash? If you call this company:caveat emptor. They have post office boxes with street addresses throughout Southern California to legitimize their service. Their Venice business & Santa Monica business addresses are both residential addresses.The plumber who came out wrote on the invoice 15 year old water heater from 2003. This was completely incorrect. The water heater was manufactured in 2007 & purchased & installed new in 2010 from a large home improvement chain store. So here's what happened: Chris came out & relit the pilot for a $120 service fee thinking in his mind that my water heater was 15 yrs old. Two days later the pilot went out. I left multiple messages with their answering service without a reply. Finally my son got in contact with the plumber Chris. He told him we needed a new water heater for $1400. Later the same day, I spoke with Chris. I have a COMPLETE TRANSCRIPT of that call. He absolutely refused to come out again to look at my water heater. He was rude, intimidating, demeaning & unprofessional. Later I got ahold of the owner Brian who I believe isn't the actual owner, but merely a customer service representative-- a sort of middle- man for the actual owners who are very ORGANIZED. He promised he would have another plumber Jose come on a Monday ( it was a Friday) when I spoke to Brian. I didn't hear back the whole next week. Finally the next Friday Jose( second plumber) came out. He backed up.his co-worker's story that my water heater needed replacing. He even feigned trying to relight the pilot. Fast forward to a few days later: I got another plumber to come out. I had arranged to install a new water heater per Rocket Plumbing's advice. New plumber told me I don't need a new unit-- there was no rust or leaking. He was able to fix the unit with a part he had & gave me a warranty. Here's the bottom line: I have requested a refund of the $120 because the plumber did not do his job. He aged up my water heater on the receipt in a ploy to pressure me, an absentee owner, into purchasing a new unit. Brian ( the owner?) refused & told me I was wasting his time & money & that I just wanted to get something for free. Brian tried to get me to give him the phone number of the new plumber I got to.fix the water heater. I sent him the invoice, but not the #. I'm assuming he was planning on intimidating the other plumber. This is how they operate. They assume that most customers have little knowledge about plumbing ( which is a great assumption if you are calling this company.) Chris actually yelled at me: ARE YOU A PLUMBER?  I'm expecting Brian to reply to this review with a boilerplate I tried everything to satisfy this customer but believe me he didn't. I deserve a refund. I'll be protesting in front of their phony street address/mail box store soon.  Update : re: Brian's response: The water heater is perfectly fine the new plumber had a part & fixed it. He didn't just relit the pilot. He gave me a One year warranty. You even admit that your plumber made an error on the receipt about the date of the heater. The tenant who.paid cash told me that he would not recommend you as plumbers. You are the intimidating ones. Let me know if you would like a full transcript of my conversation with your plumber Chris. I waited a whole week for the other plumber Jose to come out- then when I contacted you- you acted like it was a big chore to send him out after it had been promised. You are listed on a website as the customer relations person. Why should I pay $ 120 for someone to light the pilot & then it goes out two days later-- did Chris tell the tenants he thought the water heater was failing? Please move back to Chicago, and God Bless. It's not my problem if you lost money because your plumber screwed up the original job. You owe me the money & you have made the decision to not do.the honorable thing. Shame on you. What kind of customer would be pleased with paying $120 to relight a pilot & get a receipt with the wrong manufacturing date? I will pray for you.

This is the second time I have used Rocket Plumbing!  I called them the first time for a bathroom tub faucet that would not completely turn off. I was so impressed with Sam and what a great job he did and how professional he was I called him back for my clogged shower drain. Sam responded within an hour and took care of the clogged drain within 15 minutes. He even took the time to find, download and apply an on-line discount coupon. Thank you very much Sam!!

I was in need of a garbage disposal replacement and Matthew and his colleague provided excellent service! They were prompt and efficient, and also answered all my questions regarding the issues I was having. Matthew even took some extra time to look at a different problem I was having in my house. Thank you so much for your friendly and quality service!

I was disappointed with this company -- I can't comment on the quality of their work as they never came out to look at the problem. The first day, the plumber called to say he couldn't make it due to a personal problem -- no problem, I understand and I don't hold that against them -- we rescheduled for the following day.

Approximately a half hour after the tail end of the window that following day, I called to check on the status of his arrival and was told that his personal situation was ongoing and he would not be coming out again.

Again, problems happen and I'm understanding, but not even calling to let me know rings unprofessional to me.

Edit: The owner did reach out to me shortly after I posted this review. They apologized, took down some notes so they could followup on exactly how this happened and offered to come back out to try and solve my plumbing problem. Unfortunately by that point I had already found another vendor and in fact taken care of the problem, but I do appreciate that the owner was willing to identify a broken process and try to fix it.

Matt and Chris solved a big problem at our house. Stopped-up line required that toilet be removed and line snaked 75 feet (close to main line). They arrived on-time, solved problem in a timely fashion and cleaned up very carefully.

Rocket Plumbing has my highest recommendation! This is the second time that I have used them for different properties that I manage. I called in the morning and in a few hours two professional, qualified plumbers were here. Brian and Jose were professional, kind , qualified and able to diagnose the plumbing issue and offer a solution. I am very pleased with the high quality of work performed at a reasonable cost. Rocket Plumbing was extremely easy to work with, I was looking for someone to come in the day of and take care of a clogged kitchen sink after being away for a month. They were in and out within half hour!

Seriously, don't look any further. Chris responded promptly to my call. He was on time, having put in a courtesy call in advance of the appointment. He diagnosed the problem immediately. Not an easy call but the right step to save us an unnecessary exploratory expense. It was a leak in our living room ceiling we thought was coming from our upstairs bathroom. That according to another plumber who wanted to charge us $5000. Chris said, no -- and was right. Iit was a wall pipe in the ceiling. He cut out two areas of drywall. Removed the cracked pipe and replaced it.  And the rodent droppings.  He was smart, extremely efficient, and very courteous. And his cost was super fair. Best experience ever with a plumber.

Sam is great - Efficient & through! He came the same day and fixed all problems. Communication was easy too.However rocket plumbing is expensive! But I do recommend Sam.

Rocket Plumbing is a company I'll forever use. They came out and worked on our repair and fixed it in the same day, along with several other repairs throughout the house. Their pricing is extremely reasonable and the staff is very nice, honest, and professional. I have been in direct contact with the owner and has been working with me directly to get these complicated repairs done as efficiently as possible. Highly recommend!

The woman I spoke to on the phone was very nice and informative. I booked my appointment with Sam, the plumber who came to do the job. We scheduled an exact time for him to show up the next day, not a window of time, and he was even a little early. He was very nice and did great work. We had quite a few things for him to fix, including running to the store to pick up a part. Overall he finished all 5 repairs in about 4 hours for $925. I haven't experienced a need for a plumber before so I don't really know if these numbers are the best but Sam was great and everything got fixed. So I'm happy and hopefully won't need a plumber again for a long while. I highly recommend using Rocket Plumbing!

This is the 3rd time I used Rocket Plumbing.  Sam, the plumber, was very professional.  He solved the leaking toilet, and 6 months later when it started to leak again he came out and fixed it within 2 minutes by resetting the water level.

Matt didn't give up. Finally unclogged that drain. Transparency about the cost, a little high but it wasn't a simple snake the drain and go.

Rocket plumbing and Sam are great. Sam came right over. He was friendly, informative and got the job done quickly. I intend to call rocket plumbing for all of my future plumbing needs.

Brian answered my call right away and sent Chris out to meet me at the house.  Chris went out of his way to see that the shower valve was repaired correctly, and took the time to run the tenant's dishwasher through a cycle to make sure it was not leaking anywhere as well.  Very pleasant, and accommodating company to deal with.  I am calling them back to fix the washing machine pipes asap.

I called Sunday night about our bath handle in a guest room that we discovered was stripped. I went to Lowe's and bought a replacement that night and got a call from them Monday morning at 9am asking about the job and when they could come over. He also quoted a general price and length of time to do the job.

Chris did a great job on checking the sump pump for my 9 unit condo building in West Los Angeles, which another plumber had said needed to be repaired/fixed.  It ended up being just shut down and didn't need to be repaired.  He charged a very reasonable rate for his time as it would have cost greater than $2K to repair/fix.  He double checked the circuits, tested it with water to make sure the floaters were working property.  Was definitely knowledgeable.

After calling Rocket Plumbing to unclog our toilet, we arranged to have the the tank plumbing replaced since tank was leaking. Sam was easy to work with. He gave us a quote and a detailed description of job. Arranging the return visit was quick and the repair work was done efficiently. Charges were reasonable and we were able to apply the online discount. One week later, toilet is operating normally. We'll definitely call Rocket again.

I had a great experience with Rocket Plumbing.  My kitchen sink was backed up big time.   Sam came out and worked his butt off until he was able to unclog the pipe.  Then, he graciously helped me clean the kitchen, which had become quite a mess.

Great service. I called for clogged sink rescue and the person on the phone was great. Got an appointment on the day that I requested. Chris arrived on time and he immediately identified and fixed the problem. Price was also reasonable.

We had our kitchen sink clogged and Chris came to fix it.  He was really good about keeping me updated on when he would get to our house, especially since LA traffic is so unpredictable.  He was super friendly and got the job done!  He also fixed our guest bathroom toilet which was making a funny noise.  My only issue was cost.  We used another company in Culver City and it was 1/2 the cost to do the same thing.  Brian was really great and called the next day to follow up.

I had a clogged bathtub and a broken faucet.  Not knowing where to turn, I hit yelp to see if I could find a good plumber.  I saw the reviews for Rocket so I decide to give them a call.  They answered their phone on the second ring and the girl who answered (Jia) was very friendly and professional.  She booked me for the same day and 2 hours later a plumber named Chris showed up at my door.

Chris was a nice guy and got straight to work on my slow draining tub.  Within 1 hour, my tub was cleared and he fixed the handle on my faucet as well.  The cost of the job was very reasonable and all in all I am very pleased with the experience I had with Rocket Plumbing.  They are my new 'go-to' plumber from now on!  Thanks!!

Would like to say this was a good experience but it wasn't.  I read several reviews of Rocket Plumbing on YELP and decided to hire them to flush my water heater.  I spoke to someone on Saturday and he told me that they were available on Monday between 2 and 4.  I texted my home address to him. I took time off work to be here for the appointment. It is now 4:40 pm on Monday afternoon.  No one from Rocket has shown up or called me.  I called their office and Chris answered the phone. I told him I didn't want to see them and if they showed up I would not answer the door. No stars is appropriate but YELP won't allow that.

The challenge with most plumbers (and repair people in general) is that they can potentially take advantage of the consumer's lack of knowledge by charging egregious prices for simple fixes or for things that aren't necessary. I was hoping that Rocket Plumbing would be better than this based on the reviews, but unfortunately it was not the case. Before hiring any repair person, I try to educate myself on the issue by researching the web, getting multiple estimates, etc.  In my case, it was a gas leak found by SoCalGas so I was also able to speak with one of their technicians who told me exactly what the issue was, what was needed to fix it, and warned me against plumbers trying to sell me more than what was needed. When I initially spoke with Rocket Plumbing, they seemed competent, honest and well priced, while some of the other plumbers lacked at least one of these qualities. But after the first visit for the initial estimate, they tried to sell me on doing more than was necessary. It took some discussion with them to convince them to start with a more simple, incremental approach based on what SoCalGas advised (ie, first try to remove/replace the small section of the pipe where the leak was, and if that wasn't feasible, try to also replace the connected segment, etc instead of trying to replace the a large amount of pipe from the beginning which is what Rocket wanted to do). In the end, Rocket said they could not cut the small piece of pipe out (which is mostly understandable) so had to replace one connecting segment that was luckily fairly easily removed by basically unscrewing it off. However, the added cost for this seemed very high (about $400 above the original estimate). I raised this as an issue and discussed this with the plumber, but he got very defensive and angry, and I didn't think the plumber had a good explanation for the much higher cost (he said he had to go to the store twice because he thought he would only need the small piece of pipe, etc). Ultimately the plumber only reduced the price by $40, which I don't think was a reasonable price overall given my discussion with SoCalGas and other plumbers. I will not use them again.

Just very professional and friendly all the way around. My mom and I live alone and when it comes to plumbing issues we are lost in the forest. Rocket Plumbing made our problems as simple as day. They even told us that our plumbing issue was not as big as we thought it was. Chris came out and he was more than helpful, giving us tips for the future so that we didn't have the same issues. It was all about good customer service. Definitely will call them again!

They showed up on time and Jose was great at diagnosing what we thought was a major problem was just a loose screw ... and gave us valuable info for later as well.  Highly recommend them.

We had a leaky shower and wanted it repaired ASAP. All the other plumbers we called said it would be days to weeks before they could come.  Jose with Rocket Plumbing came out the same day and did a great job.  Very nice professional young man.

We have two toilets completely backed up and a shower where water is filling up in the tub from the drain when neighbors take a shower. My husband called Rocket given the reviews and in hopes of being able to fix the problem quickly. We both work long hours and needed a plumber who could come during evening hours. Despite calling Rocket three times to inquire about having their help, my husband has still not received a call back since yesterday morning. Completely disappointed.

I had a great overall experience with Rocket Plumbing.  They were friendly, very responsive and extremely knowledgeable.  

I called them about an issue with my toilet and they were at my house within the hour.  Once they arrived, they figured out the problem and explained it to me very clearly.  They gave me a few options about how to fix it and the cost that it would be to do each.  Once I decided, the job was done within 30 minutes.  Quick and easy!

Sam came by on two separate days to get a bunch of work done for us. We ended up replacing three faucets, one in the kitchen and 2 in the master bathroom, as well as a few other items. Sam was efficient and got the job done. For one of our bathroom faucets, he had to cut part of the granite counter. Before he started that, he even asked if the baby was sleeping 'cause it was going to be loud. I thought that was really considerate of him. When he was done, he came out entirely covered with dust, but he made sure the bathroom wasn't, which was great. Easy to work with. Our plumbing issues, all resolved!

Had a broken pipe in bathroom sink. I called on Monday and Sam came out on Wednesday.  Diagnosed problem quickly and said there were two possible fixes, a less expensive and a more expensive one. I had another company out on Monday, and they only mentioned the more expensive fix, which was 276% the price of Sam's low quote and 193% the price of his high quote. Sam completed the job quickly and effectively and I am happy. I recommend!

So far I am very pleased.  I found them on Yelp and figured I'd try them out based on the good reviews.  I have no idea of how their pricing competes with others, but I didn't have time to shop around as I had a 24 hour window to repair a gas line.  Within 24 hours the line was repaired and all was good.  Good communication and follow up too.

We've been having occasional overflows of our toilet and the good old plunger trick stopped working so we gave into calling a plumber. I was surprised that they were able to make it to my house within a couple hours but VERY happy about it as well lol.  Our toilet is finally fixed and we were assured that we wouldn't experience any more overflows. The gentleman that came to our home also gave us some tips to ensure that even if a toilet were to get clogged, I wouldn't have to worry about ruining my carpets. Sam the technician is a knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and smelled better than any plumber i have ever dealt with before.  My fathers house in Beverly Hills had some real plumbing issues which are to be expected from a house almost 100 years old.  After trying to snake the main myself with a commercial grade snake i started to do some investigating under the house thru the dungeon known as the basement, and found i had a small lake under the house and of course found the old cast iron pipe that had just toooo many years of water in it and had broke,  Sam quoted me a price and was there the next day to fix it and even added a few more feet than originally anticipated at NO EXTRA CHARGE,  The only thing i had to do was approve Sam making the crawl Hole opening  just a little bigger as his muscular body would not fit thru the hole.  After that was done he was on his way to places under the house that i could not even see him but heard his grinder.  Few hours later he emerged and problem solved.

Rocket Plumbing to the rescue!  We arrived home from a trip late at night Thanksgiving week only to find no hot water and a flooded basement.  I immediately began trying to find a plumber to help us and was so desperate that I finally called one of the big companies we had used before and not liked.  Then, early the next morning, having misgivings about that, I found Rocket Plumbing on Yelp, read the reviews, and called them.  Chris said he could get Sam out by late morning.  I sent him pictures of the basement area and cancelled the other plumber, crossing my fingers that Rocket was as good as its Yelp reviews.  It was.   Chris followed up by phone several times before and after Sam arrived around 11:30 a.m.  It was a long day, but we got the basement pumped out and a new water heater installed.  Needless to say, we were delighted, as we had been thinking we might have to move to a hotel room for the night if we still had no hot water and no heat.  (Yep, the furnace was down in that basement as well.)  This was highly professional, very considerate service with no up selling.  Highly recommended.
