My wife and I just had a new kitchen sink and counter top installed which required us to hire a plumber.  Georges Plumbing was recommend to us.   He responded in no time.  while he was doing the job I asked him if he could fix the new plumbing so when the garbage disposal came on it would not cause water and debris to shoot up from the other sink.  He said that  it had a wrong valve in place.  He replaced the valve with the right type and did not charge extra.  The problem is now solved.  In summary he arrived in no time after the call, was efficient, courteious, did a great job and cleaned up his work area prior to departure taking the  old sink and debris away for us at no extra charge.  I would highly recommend him to all.  His cost was reasonable and I have his card on file.   If I ever need a plumber again George will get my business.

These guys showed up the same day I call. Took out my hot water heater and replaced it within three hours. Super professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Not one spec of mess was left behind. I was very pleased with the price expected to pay a lot more for the fast service. Thanks guys

I was astounded that more people haven't raved about Myers Plumbing. I have had the extreme pleasure of using them for over 10 years and their service has been over the top. Timely, efficient, fairly priced and excellent work. I wouldn't use anybody else!

I called them yesterday evening due to a pipe burst after freezing temperatures. They said they would come over at some point that night and call first.

No call all night.

The next morning I called and left a voice message to see if they would still come over. At 2:48 p.m., I am still waiting to hear.

Do not use this company. I realize all plumbers are busy right now due to freezing temperatures and pipes bursting all over Hampton Roads. However, it is unacceptable to tell someone that they will come over and then never show up or -most of all- NEVER call.

These people are the BEST in the business!!  Hands down, I wish they did other contracting skills.  LOVE them!  I called about my heat acting funny.  They called me back without prompting, they came when they said they would, their fees were extremely reasonable & told me if I had any further trouble to call & they would come right back out, no charge.  Who does that?  Kellam mechanical....that's who.

I am so glad I called! My toilet flooded over and their response was great. Every part of the process from calling to getting the clog removed was quick and the people I interacted with were polite and informative. I know who to call if I'm ever in need of a plumbing job.

I asked for a diagnostic on a leak I didnt know where it was coming from. I was at work and my wife was home and told them I was to authorize any repairs. Plumber tried calling me. Left a voice mail and never spoke to me. (Have multiple voice mails incase anyone wants proof) At that point he should've paused and not done anything further after the diagnostic. He told my wife that I said to do what's needed (never spoke to him). Pulled the toilet replaced a wax seal (it was leaking where I couldn't see). I never told him to do any actual work. So basically took advantage of my wife being alone without someone else there. So I paid a $75 diag fee which is what I agreed to. Plus 225 for a wax seal replacement. A 10 dollar wax seal for 225 that I would've told them not to do. I've replaced plenty. I would avoid them.

Called two other plumbers, Craig's  Plumbing was the first and only one to call back and I'm glad they did! They sent out their tech named Lamont who got there on time, took a look at the problem and explained what had to be replaced and what supplies he needed from the shop. He left and shared his location since they are officially on the clock and came back and went to work. He did the work in a fair amount of time, sent me bill which was 120$ less per hour than the plumbers we had fix our tub spout in October last  year and we are truly blessed and grateful we have a new plumber for the next plumbing project life throws at us !!! We had our water heater and garbage disposal replaced. Very courteous and professional. Reasonably priced. We'll definitely use them for any plumbing issues.

In December 2012, we used to HVAC Warehouse to replace a 25 year old heating system.  As they recommended, we also replaced the AC system, with a Maytag unit with a 12 year warranty.  The AC has failed in less than 6 years, with coils leaking increasing amounts of refrigerant the past 2 years.  The tech reported to management that the unit needed to be replaced under warranty 10 days ago, and it failed totally 4 days ago.  SInce that time, no AC in 90 degree outside (and in my house, inside) temperatures.  Office staff told me that owner is on vacation.  No action was taken to get repair/replacement parts in advance of total failure.  Still have no estimate of when it will be fixed.  My wife and I are suffering because of their failure to honor the contractual obligation of the warranty.  The field technician is a good guy, but management isn't supporting us.  Once the AC is resolved under warranty, will use a different HVAC contractor; can NOT recommend this company.
