Stay far away from this company. They just installed our next-door neighbors sprinkler system, and the day they arrived my husband told them to not dig on our property, because we had an underground electric fence to keep our pets contained that is 2 feet inside our property line. Despite him telling that to the employees, they still dug on our property. They severed our electric fence, and then they denied it. No apology whatsoever for their trespassing and destruction of private property! In addition to that, they have been throwing their tools and trash all over our property all week, spitting in our yard, and leaving their huge trailer parked directly in front of our driveway for the past four days. You should only hire this company if you want to piss off every single neighbor you have, and if you want irresponsible, careless employees. Stay away.

I ordered everything I needed to renovate my bathroom back in early June from a bog box store.  I received everything except for the shower enclosure fairly quickly.  I finally received the 4 piece shower at the end of September and found it in about 12 pieces.  I needed to get this project going as I had already paid the plumber for half of the project in June.  I went to Noland and sat down with one of their friendly representatives to see what my options were.  I decided on a unit that satisfied my needs and that was in stock right there.  It was delivered to me the next day and in perfect condition.  Noland saved my renovation and at a better price than I would have paid at that other store.  My Strongest Recommendation.

I recently hired Jason - One Eleven Handyman Services in building a new small business with extensive plumbing and a variety of miscellaneous little jobs (i.e. mounting retail slat board, wall-mount for TV, painting, etc....) and he was fair in pricing, competent in work completed and flexible in alterations required as the build progressed - both for the best needs of the business to be met as well as city code compliance.  I would not hesitate to use Jason's services for my business or my home - he is timely, fair priced, responsive -- AND cleans up after himself!!  He is a pleasure to work with.

The service was awesome!  He scheduled me immediately for the next day.  He showed up promptly wearing a mask, and the job was done quickly and efficiently.  He was very professional, and the price was reasonable!

We had our water heater break yesterday and it was leaking pretty bad.  Had to be emptied and replaced the same day.  It's a bit more of a complicated location and type that we needed yet Newman's handled the whole removal of the old heater and installation of the new water heater wonderfully!  And, provided a slightly used stand to replace our old one that was in bad shape.  Trey performed all this work on his own, we've had other services who needed 3 men to do the work he did.  Thanks!

Kellam Mechanical is by far one of the best companies we've had the pleasure to work with.

My parents were having problems with their relatively new AC unit and more than one company was unable to fix it. Several friends recommended Kellam Mechanical and I can honestly say, they are the BEST group of people we've ever worked with.

Their technicians were very knowledgable, able to not only diagnose the problem that multiple other groups were unable to fix but also explain how to maintain the system. John and Adam spent almost 2 hours fixing the problem and because the system was under warranty, they didn't charge my parents!

That meant more to me than I can say. Knowing that my parents home is cool and they have a company they can trust is priceless. Honesty and excellence in service and technical skill are what the gentlemen at Kellam Mechanical built their company on.

They are our go to company for as long as we live in Hampton Roads.

Had a service appointment scheduled for 1-3 PM with Ernie. Dispatchers had the courtesy to call and say the person could not make it half way through the time window, but they will have someone come out as early as possible tomorrow.

He shows up at least on time, but quotes 235 for backflow testing!? Mind you this is an annual test in city of Portsmouth, VA. Complete rip off. At least they could let me know ahead of time how much they are going to quote instead of right when show up.

Overpriced, underskilled based on these reviews, and wasting my time.

This is the worst service I ever used. The person was not honest at all and the charge is weight over regular price. They Charged me $250 for about 20 minutes actual drainage service!! Not worth one star at all but no choice!!!

The person (Wayne) showed up to do free estimation and told me that it takes him about 2 hours and 30 minutes to get the job done and charge me $250. Actual drainage job took him about 20 minutes done the job.

This is the 1st time I used their service on 5/1/2013, also  IT IS THE LAST TIME I use their service.

Took 4 business days to diagnose problem, then 2 more to repair.   Very expensive with rather hazy explanation of price structure.

I called about a broken water heater this morning about 8:30 am. They said they would be able to come between 1 and 4 pm. Justin arrived at 1 pm. Quickly assessed the problem and my water heater was replaced with a new one. Everything was done in about 90 minutes. This included getting a new water heater form the warehouse, removal of the old water heater, and installation of the new one. Excellent service!!! Would highly recommend this company.

I am so pleased with the fast response time by Brown Plumbing and Septic.  The techs, Stephen and Frank were very courteous, polite, and professional.  They each went above and beyond what I would have expected.  My septic system was cleaned thoroughly and they answered many questions that I had and were very helpful in making me more aware of how a septic system works.  I will highly recommend Brown Plumbing and Septic to all of my family and friends. Thank you Stephen and Frank!!!

Literally everything that was done was against plumbing code. He compromised the structural integrity of my walls and notched 2/3 of the studs out. Everything was done so sloppy that other contractors that saw the job before drywall said he should be on the news for what he did. A lot of hard lessons from this were learned and a lot of money spent. Avoid at all cost.

STAY AWAY!! Ridiculously expensive. Get a quote in writing BEFORE you use them. Total rip-off company!!
