These guys were awesome.   I sent out a quote request on the 4th of July and they responded within minutes.  Called me back Tuesday and gave me a verbal estimate over the phone and we were able to schedule them for the next day.   The crew showed up on time, equipped and ready to work.   They were very professional and knowledgeable.   When they finished  you could not even notice they had been here and the came in significantly lower than the verbal estimate.   I had a great experience and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THEM!!!!

I am super impressed by Sy and his outstanding customer service. I had a service issue and I'm happy to tell you that he went above and beyond to insure my complete satisfaction with the glass replacement of my front door. When I placed the initial call early Friday morning, they were able to slide me into the schedule and secure the door so there was at least peace of mind and when they couldn't get back when they said, Sy personally called me and made things right.

My project was fairly easy, just to set up 9 recessed lights in two areas, one with attic access and one without, ceiling is not like cathedral height. I called our 3 contractors and they were the fastest and most reasonable price (30% less and 400% less than other contractors I checked quote). They have standard rate for this kind of task unlike others who needed to come and do an estimation.

The electrician came on time as agreed and do the work with good ethic. The project was completed nicely and up to my expectation.

My suggestion to them is that better call prior to the appointment day to double check the confirmation, I had to call them to make sure in this case and make sure to always turn off the circuit breaker before carrying out the work for piece of mind.

I recommend Texas Star Services. I had a problem with my washing machine that the appliance repairman said was caused by my freezer drawing too much power on the same outlet and that an electrician needed to address the outlet and panel.  After checking it out, Kevin determined there was a very minor variance but wasn't enough of an issue to cause the described problem since no breakers had tripped. He recommended I bite the bullet and replace the 21-year old washer and freezer.  
Update:  I lowered the rating from 5 stars to 4 because I called the electrician to update the panel to handle the washer and freezer; his answer that they weren't energy efficient may have been true, but buying new appliances is a decision I should be able to make with an estimate in hand for the electrical work. The washer repair guy came out one more time to get the washer working again, but now I just have an unplugged freezer.

I left a message to get an estimate to replace my service panel. They never called back. So I used another local company. I try to use local businesses when I can. I gave four stars because I didn't get a chance to interact with them. I would still give them a try.

Simply the best. I had a fried breaker box to my AC. Larry and Logan fixed it quickly and professionally. Fair prices and beyond enjoyable to deal with.

Call these guys, you won't call anyone else for electrical work.

My husband and I just bought our first house and are trying to move in and get settled as well as make the home our own. We were trying to fix up the kitchen and get ready for our appliances to be delivered today when we had an electrical emergency. I have never used an electrical company before and was so nervous and worried. Mister Sparky and the technician, Phillip, they sent were amazing! Mister sparky made it easy and got someone out fast and Phillip eased any worries or concerns. He fixed the problem and even took a look at another issue that he wasn't even originally called out for. He fixed everything and made sure it was fully operational before leaving. I had a faucet that needed to be installed in my kitchen sink. I purchased the high-end faucet, soap dispenser and hole covers (I have a 4 hole sink but just 2 appliances to install). James came out and gave me a quote - he was very professional and friendly. The staff at the office was very communicative and friendly as well. I hired James to do the job and couldn't be happier. The price was competitive, the work was completed in a timely manner and looks great! He cleaned up all the mess (some that wasn't even his!) and left my kitchen looking great. Called 30 minutes before coming & sent a nice paragraph & picture of the electrician that was coming out. He quickly found out was was wrong & fixed it. Will definitely call Mr.Electric again if needed.
