Best Electricians in Texas
Our panel went out due to the ice storm. We tried other companies and received ridiculous quotes and timelines. Shipley Electric was at our house the next day to complete the job with a fair and reasonable quote. Very professional and reliable. Would recommend.

What to say about Cal? He is honest, really good at his job and fair priced. He shows up when he is suppose to, shoots straight, charges a fair rate and has tons of experience. He knows what he is doing and does it with a smile. He just retired from being in charge (not meant as an electrical pun) of rebuilding and maintaining the electrical systems at the governors mansion. Give him a shot, you'll be glad, nothing he does will shock you! (grin)

Great customer service! Clint was very professional, courteous and clean cut. He knew exactly what to do, how long it would take, and cleaned up any mess made during the project. I will definitely use Hahn Electric again and highly recommend them.

We highly recommend hiring Jim for home electrical repair and installation of new outlets. We hired Jim to install a new outlet in the garage for our new Electric Vehicle. The installation was completed in a matter of hours. All electrical wiring was professionally installed and the outlet works as intended. Jim also helped with other electrical repairs around the house. We will definitely hire RAW Electric again.

Dallas showed up on time and was great to work with. He walked into a cluster with moving in progress, etc and a change in scope. I'm sure he was super annoyed, but he remained polite and respectful. He was very knowledgeable and took care with a very special antique chandelier. I will definitely work with him again!

Great service! They showed quickly and repaired my plug socket without interfering with normal business flow. Thanks so much!

Sometimes I throw business cards away, sometimes I scan them with a note akin to 'don't ever use' and sometimes.... sometimes... the business card gets placed near my computer so I remember to write a yelp review as soon as I have a moment. You know... if they were superb, fantastic and all that jazz.
Rumsfield's card got put next to my computer. Here's why:
- Answered phone, Took information, Made appointment
- Came when he said he would
- Assessed situation and fixed it up lickety split.
- Charged me in relation to the complicated-ness (or lack there-of) of my problem.
(Read: DIDN'T try to charge me $300 for something that ended up being minor.)
- Friendly and personable in just the right proportion.
Really can't think of even a single thing I'd improve. Stellar.
For the curious:
My problem was one of those embarrassingly simple ones. Some of my outlets mysteriously stopped working. Not ALL of them, just some. (I've mentioned before that while I don't shy from garage tools and the like, electricity is a fear. Silly, but true. Thus, I was not the person who was gonna be opening up outlets and poking around at wires.)
Anywho... As it turns out...the problem was just some connections that were poorly installed. Adjust, tighten, re-do and all was good. That was a few months ago and I've had zero problems since. His remedy has truly stood the test of time.
Thank you !

Awesome guys! Great job with my new backyard/man cave!!

My entire breaker panel needed replacing. Andrew and Chris retuned my call on a Saturday morning and it took them the entire day to swap out a new one. He was very professional and clearly experienced. I have an old east side bungalow, so they had to untangle lots of years of incorrect wiring. The entire thing looks great and I feel safe using all appliances now. They will now be my go-to for electrical work.

I am so lucky to find Robert from Yelp. I was taking some risks to hire Northwest Electric because there was no any review before. He was helping me to complete all electric works of my addiction. I am so satisfied with Robert and his staff's works that I think I need to let other people know. Robert is very professional, knowledgeable and willing to find the best solution for me. Also the price is very affordable. His staff is friendly, working hard, keeping clean for me. Definitely I am going to recommend Northwest Electric to all my friends.

My experience with Wilkins Electric was great. These are guys who really know what they are doing. they showed up on time, and they fixed all our busted outlets and tested our circuit breaker to see if there were any faulty circuits.. They were friendly and they took time to explain what was going on with the circuitry in our new home. They said they have been in business for almost 40 years, that says a lot about these guys. You cant keep a business running that long if you're doing a bad job. I highly recommend These guys.

We need some work done at our business. Steve was recommended by our long-time air conditioning contractor. We were initially really happy to be working with him because he was highly recommended and because he showed up right away to look over the job when we called.
We were promised an estimate shortly. Waited two weeks, left a message on 11/16. Waited another week, left a message on 11/24. No call return and no estimate.
I expected at least a phone call saying that he decided not to bid the job. I did not expect to be blown off. Not good business practice, I think.

I hate to break up the love-fest for Joey but our experience with him was not good. He may be an excellent electrician but we will never know. My wife called on Tuesday and he agreed to come out on Thursday after lunch.
Here is the frustrating part and why he gets 1 star. I took the afternoon off from work to meet with him at our house. When he actually called us that afternoon he was calling to tell us that he wasn't going to make it to our house but could fit us in next week. REALLY? You are going to call us when you should actually already be at our house and tell us you're not coming but still want the job a week later?
NO THANKS. If you make an appt. with someone you do everything you can to keep it. If something comes up and you know there is an issue (which he did admittedly) you call as quickly as possible so that the client can make other plans. In my case, not burn half a day of vacation. I'm typically one of the first people to recommend someone if they go out of their way or do a bang-up job but if a business is inconsiderate or wastes my time I feel it is my obligation to warn others...

BUYER BEWARE
I called Joel to do work at my property, and asked him for information relating to rate, schedule, etc. I also emailed him a small punchlist of repairs. Most important, because of the forecast for rain, was to replace some shingles on my rental property.
Joel agreed to the work, and said he would come to my property and put two men to work at a rate of $70.00/hour. He said he was busy, but scheduled me out about 10 days. He promised to be at my property on that Tuesday morning between 8:30 and 9:00 AM.
Tuesday morning I got up, secured the dogs and the livestock, and waited for Joel. After a couple hours waiting, I called to find out if he's coming. Joel said his alternator went out, but he would let me know. I waited all day, and nothing.
Next morning at 8:10 he called, said he is on his way. I secured the animals again, and waited. He showed up at 10:30 with two men. I told him I was leaving out of town in the morning, be gone for a week, and don't start anything he can't finish today. Heavy rains were coming, and I don't want materials sitting out in the elements. Joel left to buy materials, took one worker with him? and left one worker on-site. Joel and the second worker came back - three hours later - dropped off about $400.00 worth of materials and left for the day. He said that it was too hot to replace the shingles, but he would replace them in the morning - never happened.
Then, at 3:30, after 5 hours of work, the ONE worker packs up his tools, and hands me a bill for $1400.00 ($726.00 materials). I thought that was nuts - let's see the materials receipt. Materials were marked up by over $100.00, and he charged a $75.00 service charge on top of that. He charged me 7 hours of labor despite only 5 hours of work. He charged $50.00/hr for one man, instead of $70.00/hr for two.
Instead of giving his man (nice guy, good worker) the $35.00/hr split, I gave him a check for 5 hours @ $50.00/hr for $250.00. I told his man to please take the materials with him. Since we were leaving at 4:30AM the next morning, I told him we would work out the (significant) differences upon our return. Our main concern (replace the shingles) was never completed and was rained on, the jobsite is half demo'd now, and the demo'd materials remain on our property.
While we were gone, we got a call from a process server. Yes, Joel is suing us.
