We are repeat and happy customers of Shipley Electric.  Bert and crew are responsive, professional, trustworthy, and friendly. The company's electronic estimates, invoices, and other communication make doing business with them very convenient.  Most recently we had them install lighting on our exterior stairs. Well done.  Two other points to highlight are Shipley's local philanthropy and  employing military veterans, both of which leave a favorable impression.

What to say about Cal? He is honest, really good at his job and fair priced. He shows up when he is suppose to, shoots straight, charges a fair rate and has tons of experience. He knows what he is doing and does it with a smile. He just retired from being in charge (not meant as an electrical pun) of rebuilding and maintaining the electrical systems at the governors mansion. Give him a shot, you'll be glad, nothing he does will shock you! (grin)

Great customer service!  Clint was very professional, courteous and clean cut. He knew exactly what to do, how long it would  take,  and cleaned up any mess made during the project. I will definitely use Hahn Electric again and highly recommend them.

I highly recommend Jim.  I had a unique issue with wiring in my house and Jim knew exactly how to diagnose and fix it, much faster than I would have thought possible.  The man knows his stuff, and he'll tell you the truth and explain everything in a way that you can understand.

Dallas at Bonnet Electric exceeded our expectations -- highly, highly recommend!

A power surge caused an outlet to fry (not just need to be reset) and cut off power to the lower half of an entire room in our home. He responded promptly, coming out the very same day to replace the outlet.

We really appreciated that he wore a mask, and he explained what he was doing. He didn't try to upsell us, rather I asked him what we could do to prevent the issue in the future and he recommended a home surge protector. He told us how we could buy and install ourselves, but it's not a simple task and we were thrilled to hire him to come back and professionally install this added layer of protection.

Can't say enough good things about Jason and CW Electrical Services!   Jason gave a great estimate and did a fantastic job hanging 2 new lights (replacing canned lights).  He had enough time left from the original estimate to install 3 dimmers too.   Highly recommend:  CW Electrical:  512-912-6517    He was also almost 1/2 several other estimates.

Sometimes I throw business cards away, sometimes I scan them with a note akin to 'don't ever use' and sometimes.... sometimes... the business card gets placed near my computer so I remember to write a yelp review as soon as I have a moment.  You know... if they were superb, fantastic and all that jazz.

Rumsfield's card got put next to my computer. Here's why:

- Answered phone, Took information, Made appointment

- Came when he said he would

- Assessed situation and fixed it up lickety split.

- Charged me in relation to the complicated-ness (or lack there-of) of my problem.
(Read: DIDN'T try to charge me $300 for something that ended up being minor.)

- Friendly and personable in just the right proportion.

Really can't think of  even a single thing I'd improve. Stellar.

For the curious:

My problem was one of those embarrassingly simple ones.  Some of my outlets mysteriously stopped working. Not ALL of them, just some.  (I've mentioned before that while I don't shy from garage tools and the like, electricity is a fear. Silly, but true. Thus, I was not the person who was gonna be opening up outlets and poking around at wires.)  

Anywho... As it turns out...the problem was just some connections that were poorly installed. Adjust, tighten, re-do and all was good.  That was a few months ago and I've had zero problems since.  His remedy has truly stood the test of time.

Had a thermostat/furnace issue. Called Z-Tex to check the wiring. They came out in 90 minutes, checked it out (wiring is fine). Professional, pleasant, and inexpensive. $55!

I am so lucky to find Robert from Yelp. I was taking some risks to hire Northwest Electric because there was no any review before. He was helping me to complete all electric works of my addiction. I am so satisfied with Robert and his staff's works that I think I need to let other people know. Robert is very professional, knowledgeable and willing to find the best solution for me. Also the price is very affordable. His staff is friendly, working hard, keeping clean for me. Definitely I am going to recommend Northwest Electric to all my friends.

My experience with Wilkins Electric was great.  These are guys who really know what they are doing. they showed up on time, and they fixed all our busted outlets and tested our circuit breaker to see if there were any faulty circuits..  They were friendly and they took time to explain what was going on with the circuitry in our new home.  They said they have been in business for almost 40 years, that says a lot about these guys.  You cant keep a business running that long if you're doing a bad job.  I highly recommend These guys.

Wieco electric is top notch!  If you have any electrical needs for your home or business, you must call Wieco electric!  These guys were awesome and in stalled all of our requested needs in a reasonable amount of time and with utmost professionalism.  The work they did was clean and very meticulous.  They were on time and completed the work in less time than expected.  Greg, you are awesome and very knowledgeable.  We will definitely be referring you to all of our friends in Law Enforcement!

We need some work done at our business. Steve was recommended by our long-time air conditioning contractor. We were initially really happy to be working with him because he was highly recommended and because he showed up right away to look over the job when we called.

We were promised an estimate shortly. Waited two weeks, left a message on 11/16. Waited another week, left a message on 11/24. No call return and no estimate.

I expected at least a phone call saying that he decided not to bid the job. I did not expect to be blown off. Not good business practice, I think.

Joey Fisher is excellent and I would strongly recommend him.  We had quite a bit of work to do on our new house when we moved in and Joey's quote was significantly below the others.  He and his crew arrived on time, worked quickly, cleaned up after themselves and did a good job (as far as I can tell).  Joey also did some additional work for us on the day and did not charge extra.  He also called me a week after the job to check how things were going.  There were a few concerns I had and he came out yesterday to look at them.  It turns out that the issues were not connected to his workmanship but to my ignorance about how a garbage disposal works.  He didn't charge me for this call out which I greatly appreciated.  On top of all of that, Joey was really friendly and extremely sweet to my dog.  What better recommendation can you want?

I highly recommend this service. I needed a plumbing job done and he was able to work med in the same day. He was timely,  efficient,  very nice,  and did the job very well. It was nice to have someone show up on time and not make excuses for why he couldn't do the job. Will definitely call again
