Best Electricians in Texas

Positive: quick. I called when our water main was shut off as a result of a PVC fitting breaking in the irrigation system. Being new to the area, I called several plumbers and CTX answered and agreed to come out that day. They arrived earlier than the timeframe expected, and the job took them 30 minutes or less to complete.

Negative: I received several return calls from plumbers who could have showed up later, but I waved them off as CTX answered first. When they arrived and looked at the damage, the price tag was $350. After continuing to receive plumbing calls, it sounds like this was significantly more than I would have payed had I waited a bit and asked about prices (in fact I send a photo of the broken fitting to one of the return calls and the rate was going to be significantly cheaper - although to be fair, that is easy to say after the fact).

Bottom line, very quick and courteous/friendly service, but the price was more than I should have paid. When I first heard the number, I was a bit shocked, but agreed to pay since they showed up. I will likely shop around a bit more (or exercise some patience) next time. To be fair, I'll attempt to upload a photo of the before/after work in case I am way off base.

Dave is a very honest guy.  Had some minor electrical issues and he was able to quickly diagnose and correct the problem.  Second time to use this company and great both times. I had excellent response times and friendly service.  I'm a highly satisfied customer and recommend you give them a call for your electrical needs!

Fabulous! Don't bother calling anyone else. These guys do incredible work, and their prices are reasonable. I'd give them ten stars if I could.

Home insurance company set up the contact with this company. On a Monday, I scheduled an appointment for the upcoming Friday, between 9-11am. Friday at 11:30am, no show. Called to find out when they would arrive, no answer. By 1:15pm, I contacted the insurance company to find a new company to work with.  Only then did George F Contracting call, at approximately 1:30pm.

Apparently, there was a scheduling error, but they said they could be at my house in about 30min. No problem... until they failed to show up again. Called them at 3pm, no answer. So I'm done, there are plenty of other companies that would like to earn some coin.

I was looking for a regular electrical contractor for other work (lighting trees, lamppost modifications). George F Contracting has narrowed down my search by one.

I chose Frisco Electric because I like patronizing local businesses whenever possible, and I was hoping I'd be able to get someone to come out in a day or so to check on an outdoor outlet that had been intermittently not working for no obvious reason--the urgency due to having contractors currently on-site working on my house. I got a fast return call from the message I left just after they opened, and better yet, was told the owner would be able to come out later that morning. How often does that happen?

Of course, by the time Vince got here the outlet was functioning again, but he took his time thoroughly checking for possible causes, and ultimately found a slightly loose connection in the breaker box that might have been the culprit. Even though he didn't have to repair anything, I appreciated all of the information about the way the houses of the same age as mine in this area are wired, which GFCI outlet is connected to the outdoor outlet (not remotely one I would have suspected), and which breaker it belongs to, so I was happy to pay a reasonable fee for all that.

It was also very refreshing to not get a sales pitch for things I don't need. I'll be calling Frisco Electric for all of my future electrical jobs.

We had a tenant without electricity & couldn't find anyone that couldn't look at the problem for several days. Doug's crew got out to the house within a day & had the problem fixed (including the permit & inspection) with 2 days.
I found their pricing to be very reasonable.

I am a single mom with 2 young children. So I don't have a lot of funds. I needed a couple of outlets, nothing major. First estimate came from Miles Electric, they wanted to charge me $400 EACH! Halo Electric came out and I couldn't be happier. Very affordable rates!!!!

Christopher at Desnina Electric is great! I called them Monday evening and he was able to come out the next day. He is reliable and priced fair. Highly recommend.

I had previously worked with other Electricians who unfortunately just seemed interested in grossly overcharging. I hired Fisher Q Electric for my landscape lighting and they were very professional, honest and very fair and transparent with pricing. When they looked at the job they said that there are a few parts that I need, and if I buy them myself i'll save a lot of money otherwise they will have a markup on the parts. They even showed me where to order it and saved me hundreds. They came back a few days later and finished the job. I have since referred them to my parents for electrical work. Goes to show you that honesty and integrity makes a difference in business. I wish other electricians would notice that electrical work is ongoing and if you build a good relationship with the homeowner they'll use you for years to come, instead of trying to charge them as much as you can get away with each time.

Reid Electric did great work for us. We had a problem with some light switches not working and he was able to quickly locate the problem and fix it. He also discovered a problem with a light fixture that had gone bad and was dangerously shorting out. His prices are very reasonable. He was very professional, yet friendly and personable. I would definitely recommend him for any future electrical needs!

Owner is a standup guy! We were having some trouble and he happened to not be to far from us. Came right out the same day and had the issue fixed in just about under a minute and also showed us how to fix it going forward. He could have absolutely charged us a service fee but refused any payment. We will absolutely be using 4U for anything going forward.
