Gary came out to our house to evaluate 3 problems I was having.  I called him around noon, and he was at my home by 3pm!  Gary quickly found answers to the first 2 problems; the 3rd one was a request for advice (I want to install a whole house electric emergency power generator), and within 10 minutes he researched the options available and discussed what the end cost would be.  I will be calling GD Electric again for my electric servicing needs!

Peter installed a NEMA 14-50 outlet for my electrical vehicle in my detached garage. He went over several options on how we could get wires safely from the panel to the detached garage and the best location for the outlet considering costs and parking. We ended up deciding to drill an access hole to the panel on the side of the house, install conduit tubing for the wires that was buried and routed through my garage storage unit. The end result was very neat. I couldn't tell where he buried the conduit because he filled the small trench in so well. He snaked the conduit in the storage unit next to the storage unit wall so that it would not be a safety concern or an eyesore. Before he placed the cover on he made sure that the outlet was installed in the correct orientation as my charging unit required the outlet to be rotated 180 degrees. Overall, the job took a couple hours, works as expected, and was completed with great attention to detail. His quote was also less than other Yelp quotes I got from other electricians.

He won't upsell you.

When I initially called him, I thought I would need a panel upgrade and some electrical outlets repaired in the new house. When he came for the initial inspection he told me I didn't need to upgrade my panel and he helped me find the GFCI reset for the wet bar outlet that ended up being all the way in my bathroom 2 rooms away!

He'll try to be there when you have an emergency.

We had a big storm in Dallas that took out power to a lot of neighborhoods so he politely called to see if we could reschedule my appointment so that he could help restore power to some peoples' houses. He apologized repeatedly several times during our rescheduled visit but there was no need as I hope someone like him is available to help quickly if I was in a similar situation.

Overall, a job well done for a reasonable price. I will be calling him again if we need electrical work.

I had used Elite Electric NTX back in March of this year to install a ceiling fan and was extremely happy with the service.   On Sunday 12/11/16 I started experiencing problems with lights flashing on an off and the heater and a/c stopped working.
I called Jonathan at Elite Electric NTX and he suggested that I call ONCOR first to make sure they weren't having problems in my area.   ONCOR sent out a truck and could not find any problems on their end so I called Jonathan back and he immediately came out to my house.   After testing all connections Jonathan determined that the electrical panel was the problem and spent most of his Sunday replacing it.  I feel Elite Electric NTX went above and beyond to correct my problem and the labor and cost for the new panel was very reasonable.

I had an issue with some can lights not wanting to stay in the ceiling and my dryer was flipping the breaker everytime I turned it on. I reached out to my home warranty company and they set me up with Clements Electric. The company called me the next business day and was able to get me an appointment the following day. Frank was assigned to my call and on the day of the appointment called me with his ETA. He arrived promptly as he stated and I showed him the issues. He was able to fix my breaker and explain what the possible reasons for the original problem could be. He also said to call him back if it tripped again after he replaced the breaker. He then fixed the can lights and even showed me what to do if it happened again. He provided great customer service and I'll definitely be calling Clemets again for some future electric work I have planned.
