They showed up punctualy and quickly diagnosed the problem with my Service Panel Box. Laid new wire and rewired wall box and no more breakers tripping. Definitely a professional crew.

We had a small attic fire that left us with no electricity.  I called several of the electric contractors--all booked way out.  I found Allied in the BBB listing and was very impressed with their rating and time in business.  Called them-they seemed to really care that I could not live in my home, and got Mike Ming to our home the next day!  He was terrific.  He juggled some scheduling (they were booked way out also) and got two techs to us in two days and then four the day after.   All bright professionals, and friendly....and they cared. Wow.  That got the electricity back on..and we could move back in!!!   In one more visit they had it all detailed out.  Thanks to Mike and Steven and all the crew.  Oh, and after the cost for the job was reasonable, also!

We are doing adding a kitchen at our business and needed to upgrade the electrical panel. Made several calls to get bids from local electrical companies, but Grant with Southern Cross was the only one that got back to us immediately & gave us a timely estimate. They have been great to work with and his staff is definitely a step above your average electrician. Thanks Grant!

We live in an old farm house with old wiring.  They troubleshot some outlets that were only working occasionally.  They thought they had them fixed, but when I tried one of the outlets the next day it wasn't working again.  They came back out the next day and figured out the real problem with no complaints or additional charge.  They were courteous, competent and professional while working on our house.  I would recommend them to anyone.

Bob and his company did a great job installing our back porch outlets, fans and TV's a few years ago. I have recommended him and his company to many people. They do good quality work at a good value.

Wow so much to say about Eskew electric. All the guys with this company are really great guys who do fantastic work. You can tell when someone cares about the quality of work they do and I must say that Eskew electric has that going on. I've heard they have been in business for a really long time here in Austin so glad to have found out about this electric company. Look no further these guys are great to work with!

We needed to run power through our attic for a new outlet for a projector in the ceiling.  The attic is super cramped, itchy, and really uncomfortable to navigate.  The Modern electric team provided the outlet at their standard rate, despite the extra difficult access.  

We also shopped around price and Modern Electric the best value by far.

Called them after the first electrician I had scheduled was a no-show. They came the same day to my house. I had two different issues, one for a light switch not working and one for a spa tripping the GFI. The light switch was fixed but they could not fix the spa saying the problem was with the spa itself. Now this is fine, but they did not even open the spa to look inside and just did some external testing. In my opinion they took twice longer than they should have had. Will not use in the future.

We are very particular when it comes to having electrical work done on our home. Our previous electrician was no longer in business but luckily I had dinner with a friend who just remodeled a bathroom and mentioned how happy they were with the company who did the electrical work. I requested their information and contacted Volthouse the next day.

I was called about 30 minutes after I submitted the contact/request form which is AMAZING and was scheduled within the week. The two gentlemen who came out were extremely knowledgeable and incredibly nice and efficient.

We will definitely use them again!

Has 2 digital timers installed by Cory (electrician) and Tyler this morning.  Wired in accordance with manufacturer's diagram, but diagram was incorrect.  Cory hot checked and had power to the timers.  Didn't ask him to set timers because I felt it would be better to learn to do so by myself.  I attempted to set the timers for approximately 90 minutes without success.  Wasn't able to get power past the timer even with it on override.  I contacted Bryan (owner) and he would have Cory return today.  Cory returned this afternoon, checked his work and wasn't able to get power past the timer.  He contacted Bryan and Bryan was able to determine how to wire timer.  Gave 5 stars because of timely return and completion although Cory should have checked equipment for operation rather than only hot checking timer.

Mark Manchac and his crew had to move my solid brass chandelier to a different location and replace it with a new ceiling fan.   My clients are yoga students and needed a little more cool air coming their way.  The guys at M&M had to go up in the attic to reinforce the chandelier because it weighed so much!  They went to great lengths to get it done the right way.  I appreciate that!

We've been looking for an electrician to handle problems with our breakers for a while now, frequently being blown off and never called back. When we called Beltran they came out the very next day. They were in and out within about an hour, and everything's worked great so far.

Still, after trying to solve the issue, their customer service still wants to call me a liar.  The person running their social media account must be missing a few marbles, because they simply can't comprehend basic sentences.  So many times they have talked themselves into a corner.  

Bottom line:
1.  They are terrible at scheduling.  Plan on calling them multiple times just to find out when or if they are ever going to show up.
2.  They are terrible at actually being electricians.  Their master electricians proposed terrible solutions that a high school shop class kid could have done better at.
3.  They are terrible at following through.  It took me more than a week of calling them back just to get a price estimate, forcing me to go with another electrician.
4.  They are terrible at customer service.  The person running their account will call you a liar and make up some bullshit reason to 'prove' she is right.  Terrible way to win back scorned customers.

FINAL VERDICT.  0/10.  STAY AWAY.

My name is Sanford Allen ,  recently had a service technician come to fix a problem with my router for my smart thermostat , he quickly found a problem and fixed it. How ever now i do not have control of the thermostat as the temperature varies up and down at will and goes from too cold to too hot. I need someone to return and finalize the problem and get it fixed.
