Shopping around for electrical work was not easy.  I kept getting quotes from big box electrical companies thinking that they were the only ones that could do my whole house remodel, but the prices were unreasonable and way over my project estimate for electrical.
So, I moved to support a locally owned business. I wanted someone that I could trust with my whole house remodel which included replacing all the electrical wiring including installing a new panel on my  60-year-old home.
Jeff, the Owner, did an amazing job. He was meticulous and we could not have been happier with the work that he did.  When it came time for the inspection, the City Inspector was impressed with his work.  He said, looks like he takes pride in his work! In addition to rewiring the whole house in the structural state, he added can lighting, and also added up-lights to the outside which gives the house a whole new look.

I called The Master Electrician out to install some Sconces and repair some wiring issues I've been nagging my man to do for 3 years.

I hired Mr. David Julius to do a panel upgrade to my home which entailed a new weather head, meter can, 200a main panel, ground rods and water bond. The cost he quoted was very reasonable. He was super professional and great to deal with from beginning to end. His work is totally flawless. I was very impressed.This person is very skilled and I could not recommend him enough. At this point, I would only use Julius Electric for any of my electrical needs.

Apex was wonderful to work with! They did a great job rewiring our home. From the owner to the guys who completed the work, they were all very nice and professional. I would definitely recommend them if you need electrical work done. I had gotten quotes from 2 different people and they were the best. The owner came out right away to give me a quote for the job and had an estimate written up and emailed to me within a day or two.

It's not often we encounter a worker like Zach who can listen and solve a problem so quickly. He stopped what he was doing and fixed a light that needed to be shining in a different direction. Chris Pittman and his Whitehart Energy team are as good as it gets, hands down.  Last year they helped us figure out the best kind of lighting to brighten our dark home interior and installed a new chandelier and pendant lights in our kitchen, ambient lighting above our cabinets, and even installed a very large pot rack while they were climbing up in the attic.  We could not have been more pleased and still marvel at not only the additional light, but the KIND of light they helped us choose (softer, beautiful, not obnoxious).  They installed two Ring security cameras that are connected to our internet.  They also installed wiring for a future project: lighting for our barrel ceiling in the master bedroom.  Bottom line:  these guys are not only incredibly thorough, PERFECTIONISTS and detailed, but they are also really good human beings.  I felt so comfortable with them in my home and hope I can afford to bring them back soon to finish up bedroom, master bath and closet lighting projects.  I promise, you won't find better!

I've had the pleasure of working with Ampology on several occasions in the past few years. I bought a house from the 50's several years ago and there were plenty of electrical projects that needed attention. The guys at Ampology have always been professional, knowledgeable, efficient and competitive in their quotes.

We are very disappointed with the work performed by A-Tex.  We hired them to replace a ceiling fan, install one in another room and move a few outlet for an upcoming remodel.  The electrician that was sent out was extremely slow.  He was here for 4 hours and had to come back because he wasn't even half way done and had another appointment.  When he came back it was at least another 4-5 hours.  When we got the invoice we were shocked at how high the price was.  In addition to being slow the placement of one of the outlets was too close to the wall for Quartz to be installed so we had to have another electrician fix it.  The electrician did not do the wiring correctly and left exposed wires in the wall which needed to be fixed by another electrician.  When we questioned the bill we were told how difficult a job it had been and that he had to go in the attic to rerun the wires for two of the outlets.  However, it isn't possible that he actually went in the attic because of where the access door is located.  Lastly, when we had another electrician out to fix A-Tex's work they indicated it was a simple job and couldn't understand what and why A-Tex did what they did.

We hired Kelly from Kruse Electric to perform an electric pole repair job in Taylor. They are a family run business and run it with integrity and honesty. Despite having several jobs lined up, they provided an immediate quote to me over the phone. They provided a free estimate and didn't charge any visit fee. Moreover, not only did they provide the best quote, after scheduling the job, they completed it as promised (on time, on budget). They accept most forms of payments. Definitely give this business a chance for any kind of your electrical needs in Austin/Taylor area.
