Well, for once a home repair company showed up exactly when they said they would be there, did what they were supposed to do, and charged me exactly what they said they would charge.  While this *should* be the norm, it is not, and Dawkins Plumbing is not the norm. They are far better than any other plumbing service I have ever used and would recommend them to everyone.

Had a great service tech over to my house....He repaired everything i asked him to do..   And it didn't cost me and arm and leg,,,Thanks again Brooks Plumbing..  You're awesome.

I recently bought an older house and called my home warranty about a moisture problem in my crawlspace. I specifically requested Plumbing Plus based on their reviews and I am sure glad that I did. Joe was friendly, on-time, and went above and beyond to fix the issue. He is even going to connect me with a handyman to fix a few small things. Thank you Joe for the peace of mind!!

Service scheduling was not only quick (they even had same day available) but flexible. The scheduling window was narrow -- they did not make me block out a 12 hour window during which they might arrive, but booked and arrived within a 30-minute window.

Technician was clean, friendly, personable, and efficient. Work was quick and well done. Happy with the service, they will be my first choice for future electrical work.

Morton is a family owned and operated company.  The two sons work for their father.  They were able to come right out for a busted water heater.  I purchased the water heater myself and they installed it for a $450 flat rate.  That's not cheap, but I liked that they quoted me the price up front (no hidden charges) and it included everything.  I recently had another plumbing company charge me as much for a drippy faucet.  No joke.  Morton told me the cost up front and I appreciate that!

They arrived on time, were very friendly and worked quickly.  Apparently one of the sons went to school for HVAC, so I will likely call them the next time I need something fiddled with there.

And I cannot forget to thank the wonderful lady at the front desk who was so helpful when I called back a couple times to ask questions...it was my first time replacing a  hot water heater, so I didnt know the drill...plus, after my experience with the other plumber, I was once bit, twice shy!

I will certainly be entrusting my plumbing work to them as they seem very customer service oriented.

Fantastic! We had a persistent clog in the line from the house to our septic tank. Braun came out and quickly discovered the problems! Turns out the old pipe was a 3 pipe, and should've been a 4, it also had a couple of 45° angles in it, and someone years back had tried to snake it with a 1/2 piece of pvc which had snapped off inside and was creating a terrible clog. We helped dig it out and chatted. He's very mellow and personable and humorous! He was pretty booked, too, but managed to squeeze us in after another job, which was great, especially considering it was right before a major week-long snow storm. We'll definitely be using him in the future for any plumbing situations that come up. He's reasonably priced and knows his stuff. Definitely recommended!

I bought a 2 year old house in Arrington in May and have had several visits to check out and fix the AC unit.  I was referred by another worker at my home to call Simply Service and I spoke with Jarred.  I can tell he's very knowledgeable about TN AC & heating unique issues and air quality.  I'm looking forward to having him check my entire system and the ductwork system checked.  I'm giving a 5 star review because of the initial contact and impressions.  He listened, was professional, honest, and communicated well in regards to what he thought about my concerns.  I'll post again, after the visit and repairs.  But on my first impression of this business, I wouldn't hesitate to call them and schedule an appointment.

Scott was able to come out and address my water heater emergency within an hour of when I called him and did a fantastic job working in a tight environment and really improving our house for the future.  He also was able to cap our gas fireplace so we could have it safely removed.  He brings with him an entire mobile workshop and doesn't end up having to run out to get supplies like we have run into with others.  We highly recommend him and will use him for all of our plumbing and gas needs going forward.

Big Dan is the Man!! He is a Jack of all trades! He was able to help me with my HVAC, then fix some plumbing issues, and even jumped in on an electrical issue. Talk about a one stop shop!

Way over priced for the services received. I have used other plumbers in the area before for comparison. Based off a home inspection I had to call a licensed plumber. Ben Franklin came out and determined all that was needed was to tighten my toilet seat lid and a sink faucet. This cost $188. For reference, I used a different plumbing company a month before to replace a water pressure valve and a garbage disposal (2hrs worth of work) for less than $250. However, I will say that I would give the company 5 stars for customer service and timeliness. I was able to get someone out the same day. They were nothing but great the entire time. Upon learning that I was unhappy with the cost of the services, they did call and refund a portion of the amount.

Vince provided positive, helpful, thorough assessment after hours. Very calming after days of aggravation, undiagnosed dripping and multiple HVAC techs, handymen, project managers, and service technicians in our home. Efficient and personable. I will request him again.

Let me preference this by saying I have used Jack Steakley Plumbing for years and was always impressed with his service. However, after my most recent experience, I will not only find a new plumbing service, but am going out of my way to help others avoid the mistake of hiring a costly and time consuming plumber.
This started with a simple request to Jack Steakley to install a water faucet on the outside of my home. Regretfully not requesting a quote before the work began, the faucet was installed and I received my bill, which nearly knocked me out of my chair. However, I felt it was my own fault for not asking for the quote before hand, so I begrudgingly paid it. Three weeks passed before the weather was warm enough to even try the faucet out and to my disgust, the faucet was leaking. I called Jack Steakley and he came out to look at the problem. He was able to quickly fix it and left with little discussion on what the problem was. After a couple days had passed I soon found out why. I was billed an additional $150 for him to come out fix what he called a busted line due to cold weather. Naturally I was furious with the entire situation and began to call, and with little surprise, my calls were suddenly avoided and my messages were not returned. I have yet to get an answer as to why I was billed to fix a poorly installed faucet. So, please do yourself a favor and DO NOT CALL JACK STEAKLEY FOR ANYTHING!!!
