I cried when we got our electric bill in July of 2015.  It was $548.31!!!  Despite our two A/C units running nonstop, the house was unbearably hot (we had the thermostat set to about 74 degrees, but it was at least 80 at all times).  

We called Helton's to come out and help us.  After Helton's installed our new system, the electric bill immediately dropped to $184.43 in August--the hottest month of the year.  That's a savings of $363.88!

And if you compare year-to-year from our new system to the old one, we had a savings of $107.39 in August from when the old, undersized, contractor-installed system was working correctly.  The new system cuts our household electric usage almost in half.

We are extremely happy with the new system Helton's put in.  My dad was here when they installed the units because my husband and I were out of state.  He said they did an EXCELLENT job, which is high praise because my dad does everything with excellence and is a perfectionist!

The reason I rated them 4 stars instead of 5 is because we did have a minor issue with the attic vent fan they installed not shutting off they way it should.  It took two service calls after the initial installation to correct the problem.  I think it's because the techs are still learning, but the owner obviously knows his stuff.  Once the techs' knowledge gets up there with the owner, this will definitely be a 5-star company!  They are very friendly, were on time, and handled a very difficult installation situation very well.

We would definitely recommend them!

Shower stem valve thing broke and had a previous plumber come out and replaced it 3 different times said I was being hard on it . Ronnie from plumbing unlimited came out and saw corrosion inside the manifold that keeps ruining stems . Ronnie Replace the entire manifold and Everything needed . Works perfect now . Very fast and professional . Keep up the good work Ronnie

Jeremy was communicative and professional. We had a leaking hose bib that needed to be replaced. It got to the point we could hear water running all day long and it was clear we really needed to get it fixed. Not only was he quick, he was the lowest quote we received by far. I didn't realize that they're located in Murfreesboro. If I had, I probably wouldn't have considered them for the job, but I'm so grateful it worked out the way it did because we couldn't be happier with their work. We will definitely keep them in mind for future plumbing needs.

We have had several pin holes leaks in our water pipes from 1995. Once we discovered another active leak we decided it was best to replace the existing pipes. Mr. Rooter came out immediately to give us a quote. The quote was equilivent to other quotes. The guys were quick and professional. They were willing to come the next day, but due to our schedules we set it for the next day. They finished in one day, and we could not be more pleased. When leaving They were concerned enough to mention we should get hose bibs, or wrap the outside water spighats to protect them from the cold pending cold weather. The peace of mind is priceless and would definitely recommend this crew. ​

We are so grateful for Arty! A trustworthy guy who did a great job servicing and installing our A/c units and hot water heater almost 2 yrs ago now. We highly recommend him. He took his time to explain what was going on with our hot water heater and was able to help us get a few more months out of an old unit. Then when it was time to replace he discounted the fee we had already paid.

He even came out to help me change a battery on the wall thermostat because I had no idea how. Such a nice guy!

We have used SOS Plumbing multiple times at our home. Josh and Wes are quick to respond, always prompt, respectful of our home, and trustworthy. We have referred several friends to SOS, and they were pleased as well. I would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

This place is filled with a bunch of drug addicts, they're quick to lie about nothing just to make their next dollar. Not really a costumer friendly place they'll tell you one thing then do the complete opposite. Wouldn't recommend no one to them at all.

These guys are awesome,  they are professional but friendly, knowledgeable and willing to explain the issues  in layman's terms.. actually the are the only plumber I use..

I hired this service to fix a running toilet. His price was rather high, but I figured it would be worth it for the convenience. However, he used a bad supply line that caused a leak. This ended up flooding my house, causing over $2,500 in damage. I ended up replacing my toilet during the repairs, so his work ended up being pointless anyway.

Brad Rakes has been our plumber for many years now.  He is very reliable and reputable. He is licensed and insured and definitely a good plumber. He has always been professional and very respectful of our property. We would highly recommend him and his company.

First time I used A&H was for a whole house repiping with PEX. They got the job because Rick impressed me from the start, and that impression never faded.  Communicated before the job, fielded questions both before  and during, all around professional.  Rick and his crew paid attention to details (like cleaning/vaccuming up messes at the end of each work day) and though they encountered several challenges with this job, a few endemic to older houses, they rolled with it, and had solutions that demonstrated their decades of experience dealing with such things.  Couldn't be happier with either Rick, his crew, or the finished work.  Plumbing inspector wasn't here long at all - he knew quality work when he saw it, they didn't miss a thing.  Could not recommend A&H more strongly.

I had a water heater that needed to me relocated and had scheduled an appointment with his and hers plumbing. 20 minutes before they were supposed to show up they canceled on me due to an emergency call I was going to be stuck without hot water for a week due to the fact that they could only reschedule me a week later..... I was lucky enough to find Mr. Rooter plumbing. I explained to them the situation I was dealt and they were more than responsive to the situation! I was greeted by Blade, he had assessed what had needed to be done to ensure that I would have hot water for the coming weekend. Blade was very professional and made the experience very enjoyable. He had stayed late to ensure that the hot water was working properly and he wouldn't have to come back. I am more than happy with the experience I had with him today. I have been a general contractor for 10+ years and I am proud to say that he exceeded my expectations. I would give this man a raise if he was working for me he was very friendly, knowledgeable, and most important got the job done in a timely manner and was very clean! Thank you Blade for having such a great attitude and being willing to go the extra mile! 10/10

I have used Service Experts a few times. My problem with them is not the actual service they give you, but the harrasing phone calls i get from them. If i am not around my phone, i will have 5-8 missed calls a day from them. When i do answer i will tell them to stop calling me. But then an hour later i get another call. Yesterday they called me 4 times in 3 hours and each time i talked to them and told them to leave me alone and to never call again. They called me again today. So i called back and asked for a manager, which there was not one present. If i had a problem with a unit then i would have called these guys before. Now i will never do business with them again EVER! Obviously they have a out of house calling system which is someone sitting in front of their tv because you can always hear it. For actual service i give them a 4 for customer service i give them a -10. Dont let this place have your phone number....!

I wanted to support a local business in East Nashville so this company seemed like a reasonable choice. I ,unfortunately, cannot recommend him. He was incredibly overpriced, but I was in a bind so I employed him anyway. I have 4 rental properties and after using him once never used him again. I am using another locally owned plumbing company and am much happier with the prices.

Having trouble with a unit and decided to call another company. When the technician arrived he informed me my unit had several pieces missing and had been improperly serviced. Months ago when this company serviced my units I had to call them back twice and now it is obvious they didn't know what they were doing, I will not be using this company again.

This company does not hold to their word of doing a job. Did not bother to call back after repeated inquiries to when would they start work. Their motto is you can count on us!.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
