Best Electricians in Nashville, TN

Josh came to my home this morning to fix a relatively minor problem that my security system provider 1. caused, and 2. wanted to charge me a ridiculous amount of money to repair. He was incredibly nice and professional and not only resolved my problem but made the system safer and simpler than it was before, all while saving me a lot of money. I'll absolutely be calling Dodd for my future electric needs.

Our garage door shorted out trapping the cars inside.  I was scheduled to work on the holiday with dire consequences for missing my shift.  Even though Bo was 30 miles away and it was after hours, he offered to head my way.  When he did arrive, he fixed the problem in five minutes with some electrical tape!   Then he didn't even charge me!  All the while he was friendly and informative.  By far the best I've been treated on an emergency call!

My heat went out when we had single digit temperatures. I had several companies come out to look and give me quotes. Watson Electric had the best pricing and was the most professional by far. Mr Watson himself came out to inspect my system and gave me an honest estimate and didn't try to sell me any nonsense or bash his competitors like some of the other companies did. We had a bad winter storm that was supposed to come through a couple days before they were scheduled to come out and replace the system so he took the initiative to send his team out before the storm and at least get me electric heat so I wouldn't be totally miserable. I couldn't recommend this company enough. I'd give them 11 stars if I could!

From Susie in the office to Billy in the field, these guys are topnotch and very professional.  NO BS when it comes to cost either as they quote the job prior to starting.  We purchased a spa tub and needed a 220-line run, along with a few other electrical jobs for our deck including ceiling fans and an outdoor TV.  They arrived on time, were neat, efficient and extremely flexible when it came to changes at the last minute.  Last but not least, they were pleasant to work with from start to finish and very reasonably priced.  We would hire them again in a minute, without hesitation.  If you have any questions about the process or them in general, I'm happy to answer via private message.  We were/are very impressed with them in general, and we appreciate the Yelp reviews that brought us to them!

I've used Zip's for remodeling jobs and new construction.  Prices are fair, work is excellent.  Wayne (and his employees)  are very knowledgeable and show up when scheduled. They clean up after themselves leaving a clean work area.

Not only did they come the same day that I called them (I was concerned about a possible electrical fire) but they were polite, knowledgeable and trustworthy. They took care of the issue and didn't charge us a fortune. It was actually cheaper than I could have guessed. Great company and great people. These are the people to call!

Devin the HVAC Technician was on time, professional and quick to resolve the problem while taking a few extra minutes to check everything else out including freon levels and even cleaned the machine up a bit. The price was very reasonable and my air was back on same day to resolve. Great experience!

My husband called for a plumber to do a simple repair on a couple of running toilets. The guy that came was courteous and prompt but was clearly a salesman. We payed him $60 for him to diagnose that we had a running toilet! He gave a sales pitch on replacing all 3 toilets in our home (for an unbelievable price!)and then wanted to replace a hot water tank that was working fine. He used plenty of scare tactics about how these things don't last beyond 10 years and I might have a flood. I shut him down when I related that in  my other house that I had lived in for 18 years had a hot water tank that had been in the house since 1971.  I say find another plumber. I ended up doing the repairs myself for about $25 in parts.

I'm a new customer at LBD and I have to say, the customer service here is outstanding. The person I spoke to on the phone earlier (I regret I cannot recall his name, though I know he said it) helped me track down the weird bulb I need for work. He then gave me an item number for it.
Once I arrived at the store, Rodney was who helped me. He was so personable and helpful! He was very happy to see I had the item number, he said somebody here did me a solid!
The transaction was quick and easy! I'm a personal shopper, and I deal with many people every day. Rodney is by far the best at wonderful customer service!

The Nashville location has a very polite office staff always considerate toward it's employees. The Warehouse/ shop manager is a whole different story though, he's a NARCISIST and thanks that gives him the right to DISRESPECT and talk to employees anyway in wants. Constantly belittling employees without any repercussions.

I'll give them one star because they are always friendly. Unfortunately they don't know what they're doing. We started having little problems with our 26 year old unit so decided to go ahead and replace it in November 2015 before it died on us in the middle of winter. Purchased our new $9,500 split gas/electric unit  (what we had)  in November and it took until mid-February 2016 before it ran correctly. Lost count of the number of service calls and time off work I had to take to deal with this. Installed in one day as promised....the outside unit was wired wrong, no one appears to know how to program the thermostat, set the natural gas to fossil fuel, the emergency gas heat set to come on when the outside temperature reached 55 degrees, and so on and so on. The furnace was to big for the house so they replaced the new furnace in February with a new smaller furnace but claimed no refund because the small unit was programmable which the larger unit wasn't, not sure about that but at that point who cares I just wanted it to work. Oh forgot, when we turned the air on we discovered the drain had not been connected so the pan would fill with water then shut the unit off. That was our last service call.  It is now August and I still have not been able to get my warranty paperwork.  The real kicker is we replaced this 26  year old unit with a new state of the art Daikin, 16 seer, two speed blower, unit and my electric bill is higher than it has ever been. Researched on the CEMC website looking at my  past usage and it is running higher while the average outside temperatures have remained the same.  If you have an old unit keep it running, these new energy efficient units are anything but efficient we still have to run a window unit in the back bedroom to keep it cool.
